had a sudden, unquenchable thirst at the start of this session for some sdvx. and since i arrived early enough where there were no sweats at the cab, i took full advantage to get my first 16 on excessive gauge!! (or hexadiver level 4 gauge)

BACK AT IT AGAIN AT ROUND 1 BOWLING & AMUSEMENT

except...? this isnt my usual round 1... this is the GRAND OPENING of ROUND 1 SHM IN PUYALLUP!!!

made it here because i heard about (and wanted) a special grand opening shirt, but of course since it's Round 1, i also played all of my favorite games there!! was the first to play on the pump cab, but unfortunately the stock pads weren't very tolerant... so i just shat around with fingy on some tough songs

apparently the ddr cab was from california though??? so the pads were EXTREMELY good to play on (even if i had already transferred my data to A3

some iidx and chuni!! (they both fit in one line dw)

aaand then it's aaaalll dance around for the rest of the session ! flagged Let's DANCE aROUND! and unlocked Dadadada!!!

surprisingly, DDR wasn't even the majority of my session this time...?! there's a lot of SDVX and IIDX coming your way, so be prepared!! but first; a word from our sponsor (DaR) (surprisingly, this game is SUPER fun and i love grinding it so far)

but now onto the BIG question. why exactly is SDVX taking a majority of the post? that's because today (or actually the day before)... we FINALLY GOT OUR VALK CABS

so anyways i started GAMING (using the training that i did prior to this session and being encouraged by rdbomber) and i'm actually slightly better at sdvx than i remember being??? cause DAMN am i slaying through these 15s (ignore the ura omote lovers attempt)

briefly interrupting the sdvx to bring you these sick iidx clears... (my acc sucks help)

but now back to sdvx!! decided to take a risk and attempt not one... but TWO 16s that i had never watched before. and you know what?? i CLEARED both of them. my FIRST TWO 16 CLEARSSS

not only that, but i also got my first 17 clear as daichuu stage???? (though that one's kinda free if you play mania, which i did prior to learning arcade rhythm games)

rewarding my escape from enstarrie hell by having a MASSIVE arcade session today (as evident by the numerous rhythm games in the title)

so let's start!! instead of the classic game (and the foremost one in the title), we're kicking it off with my first real set of diva!!!

and then my first set of the dancey around!!!

and then all DDR for rest of session (just kidding but woah that's a lot of ddr)

edit: okay i was sleepy and too lazy to point anything out about this session, but there are a few impressive deets i wanna write now that i'm energized. take for example, the sightread AAAs on Teleportation ESP-15 and ALBIDA ESP-16??? along with consistent 14 AAAs (or almost-AAAs in the case of Lindwurm). but most notably... my highest score yet on a 15, A FLAG ON GOOD LOOKING

then a teensy bit of PIU!!!

and some wacca to close out the sesh!!!

First Arcade Day of the month!!! Quite a big leap from last post since there were (somehow) no scores in between, but there sure are plenty this time!!! But first; still trying to get this AP on Rotaeno...

...but onto the arcade scores now!! Only a few DDR scores, one of which is just highlighting a stuck panel, but they're still mostly upscores !

IIDX, on the other hand, is much more bountiful though ! most notably though; an FC ON KAIBUTSU SPH-6!!! with a MAX-52!!!

MOVING UP EVEN MORE, THREE MASTER APS THIS TIME!!!

but nevermind that, it's a wonderful arcade day today!!! (get it??? you'll get it with the first score). so here come the scores, in a potentially scuffed order!!

and then, to close out the IIDX section, i got 3rd dan on casthour!!! just barely making it through the last song, abyss...

and now, the PIU scores!!! actually a few decent scores; mainly getting more comfortable with doubles and finally evening out my balance of singles/doubles charts in a session for once?? also getting an ALL NEW S19 CLEAR!!!

played a TON of pump compared to other games, really startin my pump arc here... (with some nice acc too !)

moved on to the silly games after that little bit of pumping (tagmix is a fake 16 i'm so glad it got uprated)

then i closed it out with a bit of pump: new S18 clear, new D13 clear, and then 86 S16 FINALLY CLEARED BREAK ON!!!

ever since i got the news that my family was going to california, i contacted fiddy to ask if they wanted to arrange a quick meetup before i left, and somehow we did it flawlessly!!! i played some random games while waiting for them to arrive, getting some pretty decent scores out of it (clearing love is orange while in orange county and then getting my first 17 FC!!!!)

then, after playing a decent bit of ddr...

they found me. (there's a funnier image but i can't find it)

so we played a bunch of wacca together!!! got my ass kicked at first by them but then kicked their ass back (once and then almost again)

then we goofed off for the rest of the session!! forcing them to watch me play iidx, then playing groove coaster together, then lastly playing sdvx together

then they left after that and i kinda just played on my own (with both nock and sonicfrisk!!)

back once more at the arcadeys!!! doin some pump, and getting some more nice iidx scores (playing the BEST SONG added this version)

i played a bit of doubles, first time in a while!!! and then fell off the pads during telecaster b-boy (also fitting my sakura FC in here just to keep it clean

then your average wacca scores... (mecha kuso was a high score tie tho damn)

and finally closing out the session with a pump grind; got a sightread S16 and S17, then raising my broken B on 86 S16 to a broken A and having to resort to the full song for an S16 clear

also some proseka from both the morning and night; got an AP on endmark hard to compensate for not having expert FC'ed, almost FCing Leia Master, and then getting to experience gekichumai day 2: the emperror!!!

IT'S THAT DAY TODAY

THE BEST DAY FOR ME PERSONALLY (not up for debate)

IT'S... RATS RATS WE ARE THE RATS CELEBRATING YET ANOTHR BIRTHDAY BASH

aka MY BIRTHDAY!!!

in true kaps fashion; to celebrate, i spent half the day at round 1 and did some wacca/iidx/dance gaming!!! playing Datamania and getting an FC (which i've always wanted to play since it's such a banger) and also getting a sightread flag on this random Expert 9 i found

on the iidx side: got my very first level 6 FC!!! and then also cleared 2nd dan just barely!!!

now, moving completely onto the dance games. for DDR: finally PFC'ed Roki, sightread PFC'ed CANDY, got a really neat AAA on stoic, and finally got the DDRMAX ESP green lamp!!!

but that's not the most important part at all. the most important part of this session, actually, is... taking the OhioDDR MAX 300 challenge with an extra challenge!!! since i turned 16, i got to play MAX 300 ESP-15 16 times in a row, but 2 songs in i noticed "hey... i'm actually pretty consistent at this???" so i did ALL OF THEM with LIFE4

and the results speak for themselves!!! justlook at all this insane stuff!!!

then to end the session before going out with my family to eat, i played LOVE IS ORANGE as extra stage on the last max 300 set, upscored Extravaganza S17, and did the GASUM GIPHI PUMO ON NE MODUN SARANGUL
