it's been a super long while for me but i finally getting around to catching up on s4!! just finished growing pains, and a couple of my fave bits: the build up to the charlie dance comeback, jack coming home, jade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sweet baby getting everything she deserves), also rare zay/lucas bonding that is straying almost close to the source material, very big shocker, ALSO THE ENDING!!! my endearingly painful faves...isa and farkle...u hold such a place in my heart. i could go into everything i loved but it rlly was all of it like LUCAS/RILEY/ISA ROOMMATES!! YINDRA ZAY BONDING!! CHARLIE ANS FARKLE!! getting back to ambition really does feel like coming home which is always so fun- can't wait to catch up with the rest!! you guys did such a great job as always <3

p.s. i miss asher and dylan soo much like i know they're living their best lives together BUT I MISS THEIR ANTICS ;-;

and for dylan and asher, without spoiling -- you'll see them again soon!! i promise!! even though they've shifted roles to guest stars rather than regulars, they do make more substantial appearances (and have some to come in the back half of the season as well)

i just really wanted to highlight your sentiment "ambition really does feel like coming home," because holy cow does that mean a lot to us. that's exactly the feeling we want reading this silly series to create. whether you're always up to date, or had to step away for a while but found your way back, or if you just showed up and found this community four years later, it's a lil community and it will always be for y'all with open arms (and plenty of theater kid antics). so it's really meaningful to see someone else put that into their own words and mean it. thank you for reading and sharing that with us 💝

Hey! I totally love The Escort. I know abuse isn't an easy thing to write, or to read about but I think you made it totally clear that there would be some mention of it at least. I really enjoy your wiring and can't wait for more updates (hint: knocked up is my FAVE! (But so is SSD...)) I think The Escort is great and really can't wait to read it!

Hey thanks so much!  I’m excited to get it posted already

I’m sorry that Knocked Up is on hiatus.  But I may do prompts and such.  There’s an outline I have, and some complicated parts. I think I started losing interest for two reasons:

 1) people felt like Regina HAD to have a kid biologically and her fertility had to be undone and I didn’t want to be seen as agreeing with that (this is MY story, my infertility diagnosis and my way of dealing with it, my son was born with IVF)

2) That fic is SUPER strong SQ friendship.  Like...in Signed Sealed and Delivered it’s super strong too, but this was special and wonderful and I had planned so much.  But I started losing my love of SQ in season 5. I just didn’t see Emma as being a good friend to Regina very much in S5 or S6, which was obviously out of character from what I saw particularly in 4B (I started writing knocked up in 4B).

I think with a timeout from Emma in season 7 I should be able to reclaim this story.  LOL.
