Boo! 👻 October is spoopy month, but it is also my birthday soon. And I do not like the lack of textured hair in my game, so I made a small gift to myself and you including various curly, coily and a wavy hairstyle.

This conversion set includes:

4t2 conversion of oydis's aspen hair & luthien circlet [download - sfs]

briefly rising from the queued-posts grave because i spotted this hair by @oydis and could not resist converting it the moment it released, it's ridiculously cute! the model was also wearing their luthien circlet and i thought they looked really good together, so that got yeeted into the download, too!

everything has been tooltipped and compressed, i hope you enjoy these! 💕

Why, yes, Nykteia did overcomplicate things again. But also, this is literally my favorite hair right now; I can't even.

Penny Puffs Baby and Double are linked; children with Baby will grow in teens with Double. They're also in the same mesh and recolor files. Baubles is a standalone but I might eventually link it to something else IDK.

Baubles does, however, reference textures from Baby, so you have to have that in you game for them to show up properly.

My retextures and the EA textures use the same packages, so you can only have one in your game! The files have the same names.

There are a couple of small seams but nothing major. They sometimes get that staticky effect around the edges, but EA meshes do that too so I guess that's a TS2 problem.

As before, these aren't perfect, but I'm pretty happy with them. May cause large foreheads.

Please let me know if there are any other issues!

Also I know there's a similar puffs-with-baubles hair converted here by Minicule, so if this one isn't your cup of tea and you haven't downloaded that one yet, what are you doing?

Uh, IDK if I'm back on clay yet, but the clay textured hairs are leaps and bounds above most alpha equivalents.

Also I'm too lazy for angles sorry.

1st anniversary gift: 4t2 conversion of laeska's vivika miniset [download - sfs folder]

on this day exactly 365.25 days ago, i posted my first ever cc to my old blog, anonsensicalsimblr! my original first set of cc that i ever made (not counting the dozens of failed retexture attempts before they popped out) were a set of brow and hair retextures (that you can find here and here, though they are very sloppy and idk why you'd want them, lol). so! in keeping with the cas theme, have my first ever hair conversion, plus a set of earrings, to celebrate this nonsensical anniversary! 💃🏻🎊🥳

this is @laeska's vivika miniset for the sims 2! @antoninko put out an open request on the simscord for someone to convert the vivika hair from this set, and having earlier tackled the task of converting a bunch of hats, i said to myself, 'surely this can't be too hard'. well turns out i'm a massive idiot, even after 365.25 days of making cc, so yeah. it was hard. and because i love torturing myself, i decided to throw in the earrings too and make my life a whole lot more hard! 💜

4t2 laeska vivika hair [swatch]

originally i was going to make it available for all genders, but simpe kept acting up while extracting the pu meshes, sorry 😦 also please note that the hair preview is shown with this hairline from @skittlessims! - cf-ef, 6.8k polys - comes in the skittles hair system naturals, grey binned to black - was converted purely because it closely resembles this hair

4t2 laeska vivika earrings [swatch]

these earrings originally came in some 20 swatches, but a lot of them were similar + they would have clogged up the cas columns a ton, so i cut them down to just 7 colors. if anyone wants to recolor them/request recolors, feel free to 😘 - cf - ef, 2.7k polys - comes in 7 colors (see swatch) - i have previously also converted some earrings from laeska from their luutzi days, you can find them here

Thank you! I'm happy you like them. I'm still kinda bummed they didn't work out for my game, but I'm glad other simmers enjoy them.

I do take suggestions, (or I did, for the short time I was making clay defaults) and I made a replacement for the maid hair:

Skittles Hair System Default Dump Part 1

Since there's a lack of variety when it comes to consistent color/texture clay defaults I've decided to start by defaulting some Hair in the Skittles Hair System!
