I'm with you on the suits, like obviously the boys looking amazing in them, and like Owen said timeless classic, agreed about the pocket squares (boring too big not folded correctly) but like it's not Them, y'know?

I at least thought they'd not be dressed exactly the same but like same colour scheme or vibe idk

I kinda think the suit fits carlos' personality pretty well, actually. the timeless, classic look that has clean lines and a precise & neat appeal to it. it fits him imo... but putting tk in the exact same suit doesn't seem right when their personalities aren't the same. [ETA: okay, upon a second look: they aren't wearing the exact same suit jackets. but they are so incredibly similar that I couldn't tell. so I guess that's better? but... 🤷‍♀️]

I have not done any extensive research on this at all because #1: outside of my otp fandom experience I actually kinda hate weddings and the absolute ridiculous waste of thousands of dollars they are for a single day of your life... and #2: I do not have the time lmao

BUT! I just did a 30 second google search and found pics like these:

there are so many options y'all!! and there can be color or contrasting looks. or just a tiny bit more flair!

... however, the truth is that I will still love it even if they end up wearing those exact suits from the sneak peak. because it will be them and they'll be getting fucking married. so cheers all around regardless!

I feel like that ending was signaling the end of the *DRAMA* arc for right now and the beginning of another…WEDDING TIME

I felt that way too and I hope we’re not wrong!

It would make sense if it was, it felt like a really solid ending and an excellent way to end this arc. We got some drama, some intrigue, a good outlet to address some of Owen’s 9/11 trauma, and everyone made it home alive. That all seems like a solid wrap up to me. I’m hoping from here on out it’ll be more episodic (until we get to what we season ending disaster they’re going to face that’ll inevitably interrupt the wedding) and lots of sappy and fun wedding planning!

I feel like the marriage won't happen in the dream venue. After the divorce, Carlos's recovery and hopefully a much-needed conversation about their expressing their emotions and communication issues they'll decide to just get married so no need to mess with messy timeline.

This is such a valid suggestion and as a Reyes Ranch Wedding truther… I am hoping this will be the case. The venue falls through, they almost lose each other, realize the place doesn’t really matter just the people involved. “Hey doesn’t your family have a ranch?”

there’s something about the fact that carlos lied to tk about what he was doing (said he was staying with iris when he was instead going off to investigate without backup) right before he got kidnapped... and if he hadn’t lied and instead just been honest with tk, he would be rescued practically immediately instead of whatever will happen next week... that I find... interesting.

So I guess it’s canon that Carlos didn’t had a wedding with Iris? Since Owen described Carlos & TK as “such rookies” about wedding.

Or maybe everyone forgot to inform Owen of Carlos’ wife while he was busy with his 4th midlife crisis turned FBI sting? 🤣

I do find it funny that the writers have basically ignored the 'Carlos having wife situation' ever since 4.04. Owen also said at the end of episode 6 something along the lines of “when it’s your first wedding, and hopefully there won’t be a second, you have a tendency to…” as a lead in for him to talk about his opinions (or something similar to that, I didn’t go back and check). And they’re apparently still on this wild 8 week timeline even though we haven’t heard a status on the divorce. It’s almost like we’re supposed to act like Carlos in seasons 1 through 3 and forget his first marriage ever happened.

I’m wondering if we’ll get any comment from Andrea next week that will confirm they never had a real wedding. Something along the lines of ~not being able to help plan a wedding the first time you got married~ or if Andrea and Carlos will finally have a discussion about everything in general. My expectations are low, but honestly a good conversation between those two about the root of Carlos’ past decisions would maybe be the only way that storyline would have been worth it for me.

So it seems Carlos gets hurt at night so does that mean TK will be going out of his mind wondering where Carlos is because he hasn’t come home? Which I’m assuming is very unlike Carlos? I’m also wondering if TK is even aware Carlos went out or if Carlos goes/sneaks out at night when TK is either at work or asleep? I love angst but TK potentially coming home to an empty apartment with no word from Carlos or waking up to no Carlos is just angst level 1000000 🫠

You are right that from everything we have seen it looks like it’ll happen at night in which case, yes. Very much yes. There’s something about the idea of TK waking up and reaching across the bed to find that Carlos is not there that is very tasty.

I’d like to submit for your consideration though the possibility of TK being on shift and the 126 being called to a scene where TK sees Carlos’s car (will the Camaro make a second appearance??) and realizes what happened before anyone can tell him. The process of putting that together and the ensuing realization? Finding this out on a scene covered in emergency personnel and flashing lights, possibly right after someone reports that they found blood??

Fox, please give us all the good angst. If you’re going to do this, do it right.

So are we thinking Tk (and possibly) Gabriel are the ones to find Carlos and Tk is beside himself because Carlos is seriously hurt and he can’t do anything because he’s not got any of his paramedic stuff on him and he’s frantically on the phone to the dispatcher (imagine if it’s Grace) telling whoever to get the paramedics there ASAP as he’s desperately trying to keep Carlos alive in whatever ways he can and he’s sobbing and Gabriel is trying to be calm and collected 🥹🙃🫥 (as I don’t think Tk will be working whilst Carlos is missing…)

That’s a very vivid scenario and you might be completely right, but I see it a little differently. I see TK more as someone who is used to compartmentalizing in the field and relying on that when faced with a situation like a hurt fiancé. If only because Carlos needs help and TK will make sure he gets the help he needs no matter what. He would give his all for any patient and he is going to give even more than that for Carlos.

I also don’t think for a second that between TK and Gabriel - two experienced first responders - on the hunt for a missing and likely injured Carlos that they will not have at least a first aid kit with them, just in case. If Carlos is hurt and TK can help him, he will.

But once Carlos is safe or there is someone else to take over, the comedown from all that adrenaline and worry should lead to a very impressive emotional breakdown. TK will be Paramedic Strand (off duty because you’re right on that) as long as Carlos needs him to be, but the moment he can be TK the fiancé all bets are off.

Ok but imagine whoever has carlos hostage saying something about tk to him and carlos getting pissed and telling them they better not touch a hair on his head…anyways

It doesn’t seem like TK is going to have any connection to this so I doubt whoever takes Carlos will even knows that he exits in order to threaten him. If that did happen I think you’d be completely right, but I also think this is Carlos’s turn to be the one in distress and have TK swoop in to save him because balance is important in any relationship.

I m soft for that scene where TK hugs Iris and she was taken aback by his hug. I like how there has been several times where he starts off having beef/sass-ness with someone and then eventually softening up to them, and once he does so he just turns into a giant ball of affection and it’s 🥺🥺🥺

TK has the energy of a big dog that growls a little at you at first but as soon as you prove you’re not going to hurt him, he turns into the most affectionate, slobbery pup you’ve ever seen.

I’m a sucker for pain so my favorite part of that scene is when Iris explains what she meant by “exactly what she was expecting” and you see TK’s face go from a happy, cheerful smile to just complete heartbreak at the thought of being seen as a bird with a broken wing. His little face hurts so good.

Truly every scene would be made better by the inclusion of Paul being there, but (and this might be controversial to say as a Paul stan)… not really?

We’ll see how quickly I might be proven wrong tonight, but I’m pretty sure the only reason Mateo and Nancy are there is because they’re at Owen’s house and Mateo lives there and Nancy is his gf. I don’t think Mateo and Nancy are in the wedding party. I think it’s gonna be Owen and Gabriel up there with them and no one else.

I also know a lot of people were hoping for Paul to be Carlos’ best man but like… I don’t see them as having some bestie relationship tbh. If they decided to show more of them together, than sure! I would love that. But in my opinion that’s 100% a fan head canon, not anything from the show, and one that I don’t share currently.

I would like to see Enzo giving Carlos some “challenge” like how Iris does to TK but in a comical relief way?

There are just so many things that Enzo can bring to the table/spice things up

- the stepdad version of Iris “so you wanna get married”? And vetting Carlos (maybe having some wrong ideas of Carlos based off the buying loft w.o telling him & secret marriage saga)

- this probably means more Owen screentime but yeah he would definitely has some rivalry thing (about TK) going on with Owen

- the whole acting nice with Carlos in front of TK but going kinda judgey and skeptical behind TK back. Some private talk with Carlos

- Owen and Carlos bonding over the “jealousy” of Enzo and TK being too close (I m imagining it as the 4 of them on an outing, TK & Enzo walking in front with TK being all giggles and happy with his stepdad while Carlos & Owen walking behind them like ._. )

- the process of Carlos getting that approval from Enzo and I think once Enzo approves he’s gonna love and approve of Carlos so much. And for Enzo to see just how happy and in love TK is when he’s with Carlos 🥺

- TK getting pissed at his step dad when he finds out about the shovel talks (but don’t think TK can stay being pissed at his step dad for long) Enzo apologise, gives tarlos his best wishes & blessings (and him doing something that really shows his approval for Carlos like idk giving Carlos something that’s related to TK) and happy arc concluded

Also would be funny if there’s a scene where Carlos walks into TK hugging a mysterious DILF and Carlos comically dropping his food or coffee out of shock, only to find out that it’s TK step dad.

Or maybe Enzo will just turn out to be a super sweet and nice guy who’s like ✨ yay step-son in law ✨

This article says it has been a month since Marjan stepped down from her role…so doesn’t that mean Tarlos has less than 4 weeks for the wedding? (that is not even deducting the time they spend on having Iris successfully sign the divorce papers & the serial killer stuff)

The gun stuff is gross, and I'm also very uncomfortable with how they introduced a white supremacist group simply as a plot device. If you don't want to make a clear statement on the topic, leave it out! The way their part in the plot ended with "They're not really the bad guys" is 🤮.

He joined a fucking white supremacist group and got kicked out because he wanted them to act on more shit? "wake people up"?? wake them up to what? His racist beliefs? and then the alt right fucker gets some kind of emotional semi-redemptive scene in which we're supposed to ~feel bad for him~ and yet nowhere in that montage did they even have him say he was wrong about his alt right racist beliefs that got him in that place to begin with? only that he realized he was in over his head when people started getting shot in front of him.

I feel like perhaps included in that mentioned potential scene would be a mention on how they had to give up the 8 weeks away venue bc of what carlos went through? Unless they’re gonna mess with their messed up timeline even more and say the whole season takes place in those few short weeks

Yeah, I have long before now officially given up following along with the show's passage of time. It truly only ever ends with a headache. 🤣

And unless they locked Ronen in a dungeon after hours so he was unable to give a single thing away AND they don't plan to have TK change his uniform from saying just TK Strand... they haven't filmed the wedding yet. and I believe I saw somewhere that they're filming episode 13 right now... so unless we have more multi-episode arcs that take place over the span of a few days, the 8 week timetable doesn't seem doable.

I'm thinking a finale wedding is in the works, what about you?
