It's because he's bored. That's what he tells himself, that's what he whispers into his hand when he's playing with his magic pen in class, history is pointless and uninteresting but you write down every little thing Trein says like your life depends on it. He half wants your attention to be on him, half wants you to stay on task so he can steal your notes later as payment for keeping him off task all day. It's been driving him crazy just how badly he wants to reach out and touch some part of you, the itch to hold onto you by the back of your jacket or a single lock of hair just to be connected but only leave a ghost of his affection on you.

Yet he fumbles when you reach to touch him, stutters about how embarrassing you're being as you walk along to the cafeteria. How he allowed you to pick up the habit of dragging him around is beyond him, his heart wants to give out from embarrassment from the attention everyone shoots his way when you walk with him like this. But he can't let it, he has to stand tall so they know he's in control, that they don't have a chance, that he's the only one you want to hold like this... he hopes.

It happens so quickly he's convinced he doesn't get a chance to be awkward, but the thought of the indirect kiss still stays with him for the rest of the day. He tries not to keep his hand from touching his mouth and thinking thinking about what it would feel like to kiss you for real. He's heard of people describe the taste of a kiss... and he wonders if that's even a thing or if he'd be too caught up in the closeness of you to even notice it.

The movie drones on in the background and Ace has forgotten all about why he wanted to watch it so badly in the first place, it wasn't for this no matter how much Deuce will tease him for it later if he ever catches wind of this. He finds himself matching his breaths with yours, wishing he hadn't left his phone on the side table so he could sneak a picture of you resting peacefully next to him... for blackmail he tells himself. For blackmail...

It's an open secret how Ace feels about you. His eyes follow you through every room you enter and linger long after you leave, there's an unspoken respect for your place at his side that no one mentions because they've long accepted the inevitable truth that his little world is spinning on a Yuu shaped axis and all he can do when approached is deny, deny, d e n y for fear of having it used against him in some imaginary contest of ego because of how well he seems to think he's doing. But they know.

Happy Winter Holiday Gift Calendar 2023

I think I will go to the library today. There were someone's scribbles all over the book I borrowed yesterday, you see. It disrupts my focus, so I plan to find a replacement book. Seriously... It's a terrible crime to deface a book like this.

Ace

Today? Well, it's snowing outside, and I got no club practice, so maybe I'll check out on my streaming service a movie or show that catches my eye. I can stay warm and cozy in my room, all while munching on some snacks. Don'tcha think we deserve lazy days like this sometimes?

Deuce

I'm going to try to finish the assignments I got today, before the day ends. That's what an honor student should do, right? But... The first question is already a tough prac app question...? Right! Just gotta hunker down and get down to it!

Cater

Maybe I'll surf Magicam for some 'cammable spots that're only available in the winter. Stuff like diamond dust, or hotels made from ice... Knowin' they're only limited to the season really gets me psyched up!

It's pretty cold every day now, so I think I'll stock up on lemonade-ginger syrup. It'll warm you right up if you drink some. What, according to the Queen of Hearts' Laws, we can't have lemonade after 8 o'clock? Well, this has ginger in it, so it's a completely different drink, isn't it?

TWST Horror Movie Headcanons

Summary: It's Halloween, and what better way to celebrate than a horror movie marathon! The only question is, can the Night Raven boys handle it?

Riddle Rosehearts

Had never seen a horror movie before coming to Night Raven because of his strict and sheltered upbringing

Easily the loudest screamer out of all the boys and the most likely to knock the popcorn bowl onto the floor

Does alright with high-concept thrillers, but can't stomach anything too gory and is extremely sensitive to jumpscares

Favorite subgenre(s): Psychological thriller, gothic horror

Least favorite subgenre(s): Splatter films, slasher films

Ace Trappola

Considers himself a casual horror fan, having seen plenty of scary movies at parties and on television thanks to his brother

Equally as interested in horror as his brother, mostly because he's impressed by all the murder methods humans can come up with

A general film appreciator, but finds the costuming and SFX makeup used in classic horror movies especially fascinating

Enjoys pranking other students by spooking them after the movie, especially Silver and Sebek

Favorite subgenre(s): Camp horror, vampire films

Least favorite subgenre(s): None

Silver

Not really into movies since he usually falls asleep during them but is familiar with horror as a result of being raised by Lilia

Actually prefers movies with a lot of jumpscares and shock value because it's the only kind that can keep him awake

Accustomed to his father's attempts to scare him but will still jump and reach for his sword when startled

Favorite subgenre(s): Slasher films, natural horror

Least favorite subgenre(s): Backwoods horror

Sebek Zigvolt

Despite being exposed to horror at a young age, still very easily frightened no matter how much he pretends not to be

Will put his arm out to shield others in response to scares only if Malleus is present at the screening, otherwise curls into a ball

Second loudest screamer out of all the boys, bested only by Riddle, which makes him a prime target for post-movie pranks

Hello, first time requesting anything and I hope I do this right. I like what you've posted previously and I hope you enjoy this request idea.

I saw screenshots of a post recently about a TWST x Tinkerbell/Pirate Fairy event where shenanigans happens and everyone's UM's are switch around.

But what if Yuu got someone else's UM? Would they go power mad? OB by accident because they couldn't control the amount of magic? Just chill until the fairies corrected the switch? How would the owner of the UM deal with Yuu handling their power feel? And how would they feel about being magicless for the time being?

Suggested students are Grim, Azul, Jamil, Vil and Deuce, or anyone else you would prefer, all of them are fun options.

A/N: I heavily loved this movie as a child and I still love it and watch it on occasion. I know this movie so well I can predict the dialogue :sob: I switched out Grim for Idia because I believe there is a mention that Grim had a curse in Book 6 (correct me if I am wrong) But it was while Idia was discussing some possible theories about the Overblots. Because I loved this movie so much and I am watching it as a I write I will be yapping...a lot. Like just yap yap yap yap and I will be making more parts to this because I have a lot of Ideas. I also added Malleus because he is the only one in Diasmonia with a confirmed/offical UM.

For context there will be a Mage like Zarina who was obviously an outcast and who was very innovative and wanted to discover new things (Such as the Fairy Dust) The way I imagine it the mage probably wanted to do things that were considered "Illegal" for Mage magic the NRC students ran into this person and they used their UM to switch the powers of students.

(Character's relationships can be read as platonic or romantic)

Deuce (Bet the Limit)

He is not worried. Although he'd be more concerned about Yuu accidentally using it mid class and hurting someone. His UM is mainly dependent on others attacks so I don't think there would be an issue about hurting someone deeply to the point of hospitalization.

He is worried about the fact he can't use magic anymore. He used his flaunt his magic a lot in middle school now he's not no power (Karma really came back for him didn't it)

If Yuu casually happens to get his ability to summon cauldrons it would be hilarious if Yuu dropped a cauldron "Accidentally" On Ace or Crowley's head. He'd feel bad, but It'd be funny.

(Insert video of Ace getting bashed in the head with a Cauldron but it's bad apple.)

He'd eventually adapt to losing his magic, but he does want to try and get it fixed.

He will help Yuu as much as he can with controlling his magic. If they have any questions he will gladly answer them and help to the best of his ability.

Yuu is least likely to go power mad due to Deuce's UM being low on the list for Powers that will make Yuu go bat-shit insane and commit world domination. (Yes I have an actual list)

When Yuu Overblots

He would probably cry like genuinely.

Yuu has gone through enough in TWST and when they finally snap he would be extremely worried for Yuu because he is scared they will get hurt badly/hurt others badly.

Deuce's UM is actually scary so when it comes to overblotting Yuu could hurt A LOT of people.

Riddle's UM won't be able to help and Yuu could just basically absorb every attack that hits them.

Yuu could probably kill someone with his power and that is a really scary though to think about.

(Deuce can too since it is quite his power)

On a skill level there is a possibility Yuu could lose control of the magic, on a power level they could injure a lot of people. Either way Yuu and other people will be getting hurt.

If they somehow stop Yuu's overblot GET THEM THERAPY INSTANTLY make Leona or someone else rich pay for it.

Deuce would look like a sad puppy because he just witnessed his friend he deeply cares about just snap. Probably wouldn't leave Yuu's side while they recover.

He probably feels the most guilty as he couldn't do anything and wished he could have helped more.

Peep Grim crying about his henchman.

If Yuu DOES kill someone um mage jail? or how would that work since they aren't from TWST would they like be in custody in their own world???? because quite literally they have no information on Yuu to send them to Mage Jail.

Azul (It's a Deal)

Instant panic attack instantly.

Considering his backstory and why he is becoming a Mage he would definitely freak out over not having his powers. Bro needs his octopot.

When he learns it was Yuu who got his powers he would feel a bit more relieved

"Yuu can I have my powers back? just make a deal with me."

"HOW TF DO I DO THAT????"

Jade and Floyd are laughing their asses off when he tries to teach you how magic works. They are not going to do anything to help AT ALL.

Azul does NOT feel happy about being powerless at ALL. He has a business to keep running and Yuu is struggling.

I can imagine Yuu accidentally making a contract and stealing someone else's power and then having to keep THAT ONE under control.

Overall I feel like Azul makes top 5 of "Yuu will have a panic attack from being unable to control this power"

Azul would probably adjust to the change but he would not be happy with it at all.

There is a possibility Yuu could go power mad, but Azul is based on capitalism Yuu is not. They would probably only go power mad as a way for threatening/bargaining to go home.

When Yuu Overblots

Pray Yuu has the power under control

Azul's Overblot 2.0 except no tentacles

Azul tries to help the best he can and then gets blasted with magic right in the face. (L bozo)

When Yuu just snaps Azul wishes he could of down more, but he realizes he only was helping Yuu for himself. Not for them. They had to deal a lot and he probably was the one that broke the camels back for them to overblot.

On a skill level and Power level it would probably be the same as Azul's however Yuu has less control over the power.

Yuu is getting back for when he overblotted. /hj

When Yuu unoverblots Azul gives them an apology and also starts the process for them to see a therapist. Probably get's an earful from Deuce and Ace about pushing Yuu over the edge.

Jade (Shock The Heart)

Is not worried.

He doesn't need magic to intimidate people although he needs magic to obtain information.

"Oya? it appears the prefect has my power."

You know how Azul and Deuce would help? He wouldn't

When it comes to Jade's power it can easily be exploited to gain all kinds of information from someone and in the wrong hand's world domination can be caused.

Yuu gets help anyway from Tweedle Dee and Dum over at Heartslabyul.

Yuu would accidentally use Jade's power on people and would probably gain information they wouldn't want to know and probably has gotten traumatized.

Begs Jade to take his power back and he just giggles at Yuu. He is fine with not using Magic, but it is funny to see Yuu attempt to use his magic.

He's enjoying you struggle. However if it gets to a certain point he may help keyword may.

When Yuu overblots

No one is worried lmao.

Jade can't do anything at all and probably will get grilled later for not helping Yuu.

When they unoverblot Yuu Jade is the first one to get them to the infirmary carrying them bridal style (slay king) and making sure they recieve proper treatment. Also apologises for not helping them learn as he was worried they would go power mad.

Jamil (Snake Whisperer)

He is flipping out.

Number 1. Yuu just got this power and barely can control it IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAPPEN.

Number 2. Jamil needs his magic and as Kalims retainer he needs it more than Yuu :sob:

Jamil is already stressed out with wrangling Kalim 24/7 now he has this on his hands. Bro just might overblot from stress.

Either way he helps Yuu with gaining control because Yuu almost made Ace choke on his food from accidentally using the UM. And almost made Jack run into a tree (It was funny actually)

We all know how Jamil's overblot turned out someone call up the Octotrio to deal with this again.

There is a possibility Yuu could go power mad. However Yuu is a sweetheart (possibly) and wouldn't control their friends.. right?

Jamil physically can't adjust to being magicless and tries to literally hunt the person down but fails miserably.

When Yuu overblots

I dare Yuu to throw everyone who's fighting so Jamil can get yeeted too (I'd be funny I swear)

Jamil overblot 2.0 except Yuu loses control and accidentally brainwashes everyone. whoops

Jamil got his Karma from brainwashing the whole dorm

Wait if he can brainwash the whole dorm could he brainwash all of NRC? 😨

When Yuu snaps Yuu is coming for everyone INCLUDING CROWLEY his ass is not getting saved.

I pray for everyone who is fighting Yuu. Compared to Deuce's though I'd rather get brainwashed tbh.

If Yuu somehow manages to get pulled out Kalim is making sure everyone who was affected is okay and Jamil is rushing Yuu to the infirmary. When Yuu snaps it would be dreadful tbh and I don't think people would make it out of this OB with Yuu unless they physically got hurt to the point of unconsciousness, or Malleus was like "No don't overblot you're too sexy aha".

Jamil also apologizes for not being able to do enough and makes sure Yuu sees a therapist.

Snake whisperer overblot Yuu and Bet the Limit overblot Yuu are genuinely scary and I'm terrified.

Vil (Fairest One of All)

Instant panic

Vil's UM is so powerful that when a curse is placed with conditions it cannot be lifted even with Vil's interference unless the conditions are met.

Imagine Yuu with that power. Crowley suddenly has a way for Yuu to get home.

Vil would be more concerned with his potato having a power they CANNOT control. Yuu will be accidentally placing curses on people.

Ace would suddenly get paralyzed from the neck down and Yuu didn't know how they did it.

Yuu accidentally paralyzing people is crazy.

Vil helps Yuu try to gain control of the power but has a really hard time.

This is another one where if Yuu were to overblot it would be because they accidentally use the UM too much and are stressed because of it.

Vil doesn't mind being magicless however do NOT let his father figure that out he might force Vil out of NRC into modeling.

When Yuu overblots

Uncontrolled curse magic with a stressed-out overblotting Yuu. Yeah this is up there with Bet the limit and Snake Whisperer.

Someone is probably dying.

Vil almost killed Neige for gods sake imagine what YUU COULD DO.

Vil tried to curse Yuu mid overblot but forgot he couldn't use magic.

Vil is actively sending Rook after the mage who switched powers. Vil wants his potato back.

If Yuu manages to snap out of an OB Vil is also the one making sure Yuu gets treatment. He will also pay for their therapy and treatments.

When Vil gets his hand on the mage she will not be existing anymore /hj

Idia (Game, Set, Match)

Every time I say Yuu is terrifying with a certain OB It gets worse. (I should make a list tbh)

Idia is freaking the hell out. Probably has a panic attack but we aren't there yet.

Idia's UM literally control the gates to the underworld and basically keeps the blot monsters in and if Yuu accidentally opens that.

I pray for everyone's safety.

Idia has probably headed a warning about this and is actively hunting down the mage. Ortho is helping too.

This is one of those where I say Yuu should not have it because with one wrong move and hundreds if not thousands of people could get hurt.

Idia is panicking Yuu is panicking Ortho is trying to calm them down.

Yuu most likely overblots because Idia is freaking them out, and they don't want to open the gates to hell.

I wonder if one of his parents could also open and close the gate with their magic that will literally help.

When Yuu overblots

Run everyone the gates of hell opened again.

If I had a nickel for every time someone overblotted and opened the gates of hell I'd have two nickels. It's not a lot of nickels, but it is weird that it happened twice.

Idia is making sure the literal gates of hell did NOT open, and surely enough they did.

Crowley is probably getting sued

In Theory the battle could be easy however when it comes to the UM someone tell Yuu to close the gates.

Blot monster domination 2.0

Ortho manages to hunt the mage down, but only until after the overblot is over and the gates have opened.

Idia completely forgot about Yuu's condition so when they switched powers he was more focused on closing the gate. He got grilled for that by Ace and Deuce who carried Yuu to the nurses.

I feel like this one is scary but more in the sense that Yuu has the power to the hell world.

Malleus (Fae of Maleficence)

Do I even need to say how bad this would be?

I know damn well most of Diasmonia is tweaking that Waka Sama just lost his power.

When Malleus learns it's Yuu he's more worried about them being stressed out over this and tries to help them the best way he could and even gets Lilia in on it.

Malleus is one of the top 5 mages in the world Yuu is probably one panic attack away from overblotting and putting everyone's ass to sleep.

Malleus is also concerned about the possibility of an overblot so he is definitely trying to keep them from overblotting. Whatever his child of man needs he will snap his fingers and it's done.

Yuu wants a massage? Malleus will arrange that. Yuu needs food he will buy Yuu some. Yuu wants ice cream? He wants some too. Yuu wants a fucking break? He will threaten Crowley for one.

He understands the power that was given to Yuu is a lot handle and will accommodate his Child of man (They are getting married after this)

He is also sending Silver and Sebek after the mage and the mage may or may not be existing after he finds her.

When Yuu overblots

As of 2/26/24 not all of Diasmonia has been updated/finished so I have no information as to how it will end/ how his overblot will go. But let's just imagine it.

Malleus fell into a dream world where he got to be happy with his Child of Man. He is King, he has children, and he's with his Child of Man happily. :SOBBING:

When he get pulled out from the dream he's like why :( probably all pouty since it was a good dream. And then remembers Yuu overblotted and is like no my child of man.

He is the first one to instantly get Yuu help bro can't teleport, but he can run and if he can still turn into a dragon he can fly.

He apologizes to Yuu even though he did all he could he still feel like he could have done more. He gets Yuu all of the treatments they need instantly and when the mage switches back their powers she is deader than his Mom.

MC Who is Completely Aware of Disney.

AHAHAHHAHAHAHA

I should be writing my book but instead this scenario has finally won over. Ever since I first heard about the game I've been thinking about this lmaoo.

MC doesn't know about TWST (that's a whole other beast) but they know Disney properties and make the connection very fast. Throughout the story comparisons are probably made, and these are the reactions (dome genuine some just funny) that I think could follow. (With a little bit of Polyam implications because I am that bitch)

Heartslabyul

Riddle is heartbroken.

You're telling him his whole life, the queen he's looked up to, has aspired to emulate in his every action, is the bad guy???

(^^Everyone else in the dorm kinda new this was coming tbh. The rules don't help the whole "dictator of wonderland" thing.)

Ace and Cater are just offended at the depiction of card soldiers and how that's what they represent.

But while Cater can at least understand, Ace will fight tooth and nail against this.

("I didn't follow Riddle, I punched him! I'm not his stupid soldier.")

Deuce may or may not question his entire life.

(^He stopped being a punk for his mom's sake but does that make him a card soldier? Is he a weakling? A follower? Existential crisis sinks in.)

Trey just wishes you never mentioned this please Riddle is having a breakdown.

Doesn't totally help if you tell them it's your favorite movie.

Ace may brag a little to the other dorms though.

Cater has no opinions but definitely likes the fact that his partner knows so much. He also likes this little bit of chaos because he gets you to himself for a while. Everyone else is too busy settling their life crises while Cater has accepted his turbulent existence long ago.

(Maybe that's what happens when you have so many sisters?)

Leona probably doesn't believe you, and if he does, he just does that little annoyed sneer that makes it hard to tell exactly what he's thinking.

(The fact that he is basically repeating Scar's various mistakes definitely weighs on him... but it also hits Ruggie and Jack hard too. Ruggie especially, who can't imagine how this schoolyard play could potentially evolve into full on murder)

Jack doesn't know where he fits in but for a long while he tries to keep you away from Leona and Ruggie.

It's an immature move. He knows it, you know it, they know it, but the dorm as a whole also seems to acknowledge that maybe he is right to be afraid.

Leona would much appreciate you not bursting into song. Ruggie, on the other hand, encourages such behavior.

Lion man might ask you to tell him about the other dorms. Something about hearing their stories makes him a little less self-concious.

(Especially Sleeping Beauty. Leona still has it out for Malleus lmao)

Octavinelle

Azul probably doesn't believe you, and if he does, he probably makes excuses.

(The twins don't care all that much tbh.)

Probably immediately recognizes the similarities between himself and Jafar. Whether or not he sympathizes is unknown.

Kamil just finds it funny and really wants to know as much as possible.

He's so interested!

But like any similarities go right over his head because he's way too focused on the emphasis you put on the genie.

Tbh it just feels like telling a story to a child and a maturing teenager. Both find interest in different ways and neither want to hear your version of a Robin William's impression.

Eple is fucking furious because he understands right away that he's basically a pun.

Rook teases him with this information.

Vil is incredibly upset with the suggestion he'll never be fairest in the land.

("You'll always be the fairest to me" *cue an insult about you being a potato whilst a fierce blush begins to spread up his neck*)

Rook tries to use any information you have and apply it to other students. Y'know, like a stalker.

^^also very interested in romance scenes. He may try to recreate a few with you... or even worse (or better depending on how you view it) might give the others dating advice.

Rook doesn't know about personal boundaries, really.

Epel still can't give over that he's most likely named after a fucking apple. Probably resents apple carving now.

Vil is still glad he's in this dorm and not another.

Ortho makes up for that.

He's very excited to compare modern history with what you know. Also loves hearing about the music.

Probably gets more excited about properties outside of the realm of the dorms (Tangled, Mulan, Pixar, ext).

If you don't tell Idia, don't worry, somehow it gets back to him via Ortho.

An excited little brother talking about Disney movies is perhaps one of the most normal things you'll experience at that school

A/N: so I never watched the second movie or the first, but thankfully Wikipedia gives a full summary of the movies 😍, so I got some what of an idea here. I tried to be more general, so my lack of knowledges sake this is set WAYY after the second movie.

It's a long day, a tiring one at that. After all the recent drama subsided, the school has been having multiple new students come in, and this made Y/n uneasy. Not in a bad way, but he definitely didn't like all the new people coming up to him.

"Hey." Deuce says, sitting next to Y/n on a tombstone. The quietest place around here is the graveyard. For obvious reasons.

"Hey." Y/n says, shutting his book and turning his body to face Deuce clearly now. "Finished talking to Komos?" He asks, and Deuce nods, pulling his notebook out his bag to hand it to Y/n.

" Yeah, we went down some rabbit hole about the new students coming in since a new one was stopping by ever five minutes." Deuce joked as Y/n opened his notebook. Inside were the notes from today's lecture, one he missed because of the large class.

"Oh you got the notes, thanks." Y/n says as he opens his notebook, flipping to a fresh page to copy the notes from Deuce's notebook.

"No problem man. Why didn't you come to the lecture though?" Deuce asks, before adding quickly. "Not like I have a problem sharing the notes but, y'know it was just-"

"Deuce I get it, you're fine." Y/n says laughing as he flips the pages over on the notebooks to copy the rest.

"Oh sorry, I just didn't wanna be rude." He says, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Trust me you're fine." Y/n says, copying the notes.

"So.. why weren't you there?" Deuce asks again, hoping he isn't being too pushy on the subject.

"Oh, I went to the library instead." Y/n replies shortly, brows furrowing when Deuce let's out a laugh. "What?"

"Why the library? I mean you could've gone anywhere." Deuce says, leaning forward the rest his elbow on his knee.

"It's quiet there, and way less people." Y/n says, folding his notebook in half to get a better grip while writing. His hand is cramping from the grip on the pencil, and it's not because of all the writing.

"Oh, so the class is the problem." Deuce says. Y/n stops, shaking his head and sitting up straighter.

"Not the people, just the.. amount of people. It feels like I can't breathe in there. It's just so crowded." Y/n says. Deuce let's out a 'hm', thinking to himself quietly.

"So you don't like large crowds? Or a lot of people?" Deuce asks, and Y/n nods. "So what's it like in the halls?" Deuce asks jokingly. Y/n just chuckles shaking his head.

"Honestly the worst. I don't like people so close. Or when they talk to me. I just don't know what to say. Or I miss social cue's and then it's just awkward." Y/n says with a sigh, leaning back down to finish writing the notes.

"Is that why you don't go to any of Clawd's parties?" Deuce asked, and Y/n nodded.

"Yup. Too many people, definitely not for me." Y/n says, before pausing. "Though it does kinda suck, not being with people." Y/n says a bit quieter this time. Deuce looks at him, watching his demeanor shift.

"We could hang out if you want." Deuce says. At that Y/n perks up, a bit happier.

"Really?" He asks and Deuce nods.

"I mean why not. Parties are repetative anyway. There's another one this weekend, we could just hang out then if you want." Deuce said, watching Y/n's smile widen. Y/n nods, writing the rest of the notes quickly on his notebook. He finishes writing, handing the notebook back to Deuce who just puts it in his bag. Y/n shuffles in his spot, leaning his head on Deuce's shoulder.

"You think whoever's in these graves are mad at us for sitting on them like this?" Y/n asks.

"Oh definitely."

New Year's Traditions HC's

Technically an extension of my December Drabbles list, all characters are included except faculty (Sorry, some are angsty, it's my Specialty sdlfkjhsdlkfj) TW: Alcoholism/implied addictions in Cater's family, implied underage drinking in prior years, (Cater), unsafe home environment implied in the Trappola household, Kalim is just generally Sad --------------------------------------------------------------- Heartslaybul Riddle: New Year's eve is the night Riddle goes to bed earliest, and not as a direct order from his mother. When he was a kid, it was because he wanted to go into the new year well rested and ready to tackle the next 365 days head on. As he got older it just became habit, and it brought the next day on sooner without him having to fill it with studying. While he couldn't bring himself to "party", the extra sleep meant he wasn't studying, which felt like enough of a break to him. Now that he's in school, Trey makes sure to encourage him to join in the festivities a little bit. Trey: When Trey is at home for New Year's, he isn't in the kitchen at all. His younger sister gets to take the helm, as she loves to make cute little charcuterie boards for anyone old enough to be staying up til midnight. Only once they're all done he sits down with all of them and watches Home Alone/the equivalent with them while his parents get an early nights rest. Whoever is asleep by the end of the movie gets tucked into bed and yes- they miss one night of tooth brushing even under Trey's babysitting simply because he can't bring himself to wake them up. Anyone else who stays awake with him usually ends in a giant cuddle pile that the younger siblings come and body slam to start the new year. Cater: God Cater hates going home for any reason, but New Years isn't....as bad. As long as he can grin and bear his mothers shenanigans long enough, his eldest sister will usually sneak him and his other sister into a party somewhere where they can drink and forget about the year before, and bring the new year in feeling a little less alone or scared because they're surrounded by people. It's also the one day of the year their dad figured out he needs to stay sober so he can go pick up his kids when they inevitably call at 3 am barely coherent and asking for a ride home. Deuce: It's not that big of a celebration, but the entire day is spent cleaning the house top to bottom to make sure they go into the new year with a clean, happy home. They usually finish off the day by baking off two cupcakes they prepped earlier in the day, and spend the evening decorating one for each other. Delia often has to work new years day, so they don't stay up. After having their cupcakes, they try to watch a movie, but his mom usually falls asleep. He tucks her in on the couch and then cleans what's left of the dishes to make sure the kitchen and dining room are just as pristine as they were when they cleaned them earlier so that the new year can start the way they hoped. Ace: He and his brother celebrate it together, avoiding their dad entirely. They go out for a snack run, and when they get home they climb out Ace's window to sit on the roof and eat their snacks and talk about their hopes for the future, or things they'd like to avoid. On years where it's too cold to go out to do that, they have a little hideout in the attic with a window they like to do too, even if they have to bundle up with enough blankets to suffocate a god. Leona: He would be forced to attend certain events and niceties, but as soon as he had the chance to sneak away, even as a kid, he would look up at the fireworks and try to wish on them. He's thought of it as rather dumb now that he's older, but a part of him still holds on to the hope that one day one of his wishes, even one of his more minor ones, would come true. He knows now that it would be completely coincidental, but maybe a part of his inner child would heal just a little bit. Ruggie: Aw man, the entire week of Christmas to the second of January is filled with music, partying and food. It's one of Ruggie's favourite times of year as the entire community gets together to make sure they start the new year off with a bang! Clean up isn't all that bad after either - those who can use magic have been taught to use it for very practical reasons from a young age, and the little ones know that if they want to be a part of the next activity or snag a few more treats know they have to help with tidying. It's also his favourite time of year because his grandma will pass down another one of her recipes to him, and he treasures that time with her more than anything. Jack: New Year's isn't a big deal for his family honestly, it's just another day. They do make new years resolutions together and help each other set realistic goals so they can achieve them. After that's done, everyone kinda just goes about their day and does whatever they want, but usually in each others company still. Octavinelle Azul: New year's eve means his mom and grandma's restaurant is open until six in the morning of the new year- it's a lot of work, but it's always worth it in the end. Azul gets the spotlight around 11 to play the piano for the customers, and then open mic night and drinks are served. Usually he would get sent to bed with a plate of his favourite foods, but as he got old enough to help more, he did. Though his nonna still, always, saves him a heaping plate of his favourite foods for the end of the night. Jade/Floyd: New Year's also isn't a big deal for them or their family, so they just kind of treat it as a lazy day. Sometimes together, sometimes in their own space. Floyd doesn't particularly like the end of the year, but once he got to land he loved crashing parties. Jade only goes to pick him up when he's armed with noise cancelling headphones and a mask. Floyd hasn't been allowed to do it again and has no wish to after seeing the look in Jade's eyes at the suggestion that he might. Scarabia Kalim: New year's eve is his least favourite night of the year. Every year, his dad, his mom, his dozens of aunties and cousins get to celebrate in the courtyard with drinks and foods of all kinds. Everyone sounds happy, but after the first few close calls, Kalim simply wasn't allowed to be out there. They tried, one year, letting him have Jamil with him, but the food brought up was what sent Jamil to the hospital. So now it's the one night that Kalim fasts, he's separated from everyone and can just hear them celebrate outside. After the incident with Jamil, he didn't want him to be stuck with him when he could get the chance to spend the time with his family. Jamil/Najma: As kind as Kalim intended to be, releasing Jamil back into the sea of servants only meant that New Years eve was also one of Jamil's least favourite days, however it bears some of him and Najma's favourite memories. The two of them would find little ways to mess around and stay out of the way to celebrate in their own ways throughout the day so the prep for the royals didn't feel as boring or taxing. Now that they're both old enough to help in the kitchen, they rarely leave the kitchen on New Year's eve without having thrown something at each other in a lighthearted way.

Pomefiore Vil: All his photoshoots for the season, all his magicam reels, he makes them well in advance for Christmas so he can focus on just spending time with his dad. While they aren't particularly close, it's the one time of the year his dad feels like less of his sponsor and more like his dad. New years day is Vil's most relaxed day of the year, when he just gets to stay in lounge wear all day and talk to his dad about things not related to work or school. It's always a little awkward, but it's ok. His favourite is having brunch and tea with his dad, just sitting in each others company. The silence is rather welcoming in his otherwise very hustle and bustle life. Rook: New year's day, his whole family goes out to an island they've never been to before and gets given different maps to their starting spots. Once they get to their starting spots, the games begin. The winner of the year prior (being the person who hunted the most game before the end of the day and brought it back to the plane), has a medal they have to wear in a visible and accessible place. In order to win, you have to snatch the medal and hunt more animals down, while also making it back to the plane before midnight. Everyone stays up to prepare/preserve their meat, they camp for the remainder of the night and then head home. Family bonding time! Epel: Harveston is mostly older folks, and because the holiday season is so busy for them with tourists coming from all over for their stocks and wares, new years day is generally very quiet. Epel doesn't mind it now, but as a kid it drove him crazy. "It's the earth's birthday so we gotta celebrate." Now, he mostly just sits and sketches future blastcycle paintjobs as he listens to his meemaw tell him stories he's heard a thousand times before, but would listen to a thousand times again. Ignihyde Idia/Ortho: Research and innovation can't stop for no reason, and a new year is hardly a reason for the Shroud parents to stop their work. However, as soon as Idia was able to solder, new years day became the day that the Shroud parents would teach their kids a new skill, so that the entirety of the next year could be spent developing that skill. The kids would also draft "blueprints" (drawings, depending on how old they were) of something they challenged their parents to build by the end of the next year. On new years day they trade their "projects" and critique and improve them together. Diasomnia Malleus: To him, new year's day is just like any other day. For the fae, years pass by like seconds. But watching the people around him celebrate reminds him that there is worth in every moment, so he tries to set a new goal like the humans tend to try and do every year as well. Like most humans though, it's rarely engaging enough that he follows through with it. Lilia: He knows his days are numbered, so celebrating another year feels like great fun! He tends to go all out, and often drags Malleus, Silver and Sebek into his shenanigans even if they're all a little confused. The confusion often turns to horror as every year he decides to take on a challenging recipe in the kitchen, often in the largest yield he can make it happen. Cakes are a favourite of his, but nobody else's. Silver/Sebek: He and Sebek have been close for a while. They don't see the appeal of parties to the same extent as Lilia, but certainly value the passage of time to a different extent than Malleus. Being some of the folks with human DNA in Briar Valley, they often spend it together. Silver naps all day, so that Sebek can wake him up at 11:58pm so they can make their wishes by 12am in the New year. Usually they both contribute their wish to Silver, on healing him, but Sebek would never admit that.

Others Che'nya: This little shit has been doing this since he was tiny, but he eavesdrops on people's conversations about their plans or their resolutions and then goes invisible and encourages them as a disembodied voice. People can never decide whether it's a good sign to act on what they were planning on doing or if they should freak the fuck out because holy shit a disembodied voice just told them they should follow through with their plans how would that be anything but bad? Neige/Dwarves: Neige typically celebrates whenever he can, and the dwarves he's friends with make it an exciting and bright time. It's usually just them, and they enjoy it that way. A small party celebrating a new year, and another year to being friends and making many memories. Cheka/Falena: They try to call Leona to at least video watch the fireworks together, but Leona never picks up. The fireworks go off at around 8:30pm, but Falena sets all the clocks to 12 so Cheka thinks he stayed up until the new year.

ok i just saw a commercial for the monster high live action sequel, which naturally reminded me of the first live action monster high movie, and now i'm mad. because, like, they massacred my boy. and my girl. and my other girl. oh, and a couple more of my girls. and for what?

I'm mad about all of them, obviously. i'm mad that fashionista Clawdeen has a newly garbage sense of style. i'm mad that the zombies speak english now. i'm mad that cleo is an irredeemable bitch instead of a fundamentally kind girl with a lot of mummy issues, and i'm mad that Lagoona is a bitch along with her. speaking of, i'm mad that Lagoona isn't aussie anymore. i'm mad about a lot of things.

but lord god above. what did they do to my boy deuce.

for one. he was kind of a himbo, but an absolute angel, and it worked. why the fuck did they change his personality?

for another.

my guy. why did you invent monster racism to give him more angst. i can understand wanting him to have more obstacles to overcome for the sake of a deeper character. obstacles for your characters are a hallmark of great writing. that being said, you do not need to invent a new flavor of racism.

there's so much you can do with that. the obvious daddy issues. even some issues with mom? clearly, she loves him and she's trying her best, but maybe on bad days she can't look at him because he reminds her of Poseidon. maybe Posea goes to school with them, and you can have drama with the two of them. there's so much you can do. and you don't even have to spell out for the kids what exactly led to these shitty circumstances. they don't have to know why his father isn't in the picture. but if you just say that he is, everyone who's read Medusa's story will know, and the younger audience just won't. I fail to see what the problem with such a storyline would be.

and guess what. you don't have to invent a new kind of monster racism.

which wouldn't even make since in the larger world, btw. deuce's cousin is a world-renowned make up artist. if the greater monster society were actually that freaked out about gorgons potentially going nuts and turning them to stone, why would Elissabat, her manager, directors, crew members, etc. all be okay with having Viperine around Hauntlywood?

and what are they so worried about, anyway? even if gorgons were going nuts and turning people to stone all the time, it'll just wear off in a few hours! and if it was your intention that it not wear off in this version, then say that for all of us who are used to g1 and g2!

Thoughts on Episode 4 of Masquerade

Can you still believe that this is not the last part yet? I can't.

In general, I absolutely love that this part really makes the characters shine, especially the SSR characters.

Epel gets to protect Riddle using his UM!! Riddle makes himself the bait at first but eventually he gets affected by the flowers, so Epel protects him. It just makes me so proud of how far Epel had come from the start of the game. We can discuss and argue about the semantics of Epel having a UM during Halloween when he got it around Feb-March (when chapter 6 is supposedly set), but honestly, it doesn't really matter to me when we get to see this kind of growth from him. 🥹

Riddle willing to sacrifice himself 🥺 he's truly such a noble character. He also mentions how the Queen of Hearts would march into battle. An allusion to the live action Alice in Wonderland? :0

Ruggie and Jamil are the bastards as always. They use their UMs to make the NBC students as bait, and I think that's pretty funny of them. Go boys, do what you need to do.

Actually, I'm pretty surprised that they're all using their UMs when the flowers would absorb their magic. UMs use up a lot of power too, I'd think that that would be such a risky move.

Deuce protecting Idia from the falling chandelier!! That part made me feel so proud of him. He got a twisted ankle from it, though. 😭 It also kind of mirrors how Meg pushed Hercules away from the falling pillar in the Hercules movie and ended up dead. So, Meg!Deuce??????

Can't leave this post without mentioning that brief cut to Ace going, "Man, everyone must be having a great time in NBC." then going back to Deuce aggressively weeding out plants.

Rook meanwhile... I love how he can be himself despite everything. 🥺 Idia volunteered to stay with Deuce just so he'd stop running, but Rook interprets that as him being grateful to Deuce for saving him. And then he even makes Deuce say 'oui'............ the rookification of Deuce Spade...................

Sebek, though! Thank him for actually calling out Idia's complaining. Idia complains about how he wasn't left behind, but Sebek yells at him for it since it's like he's sullying Deuce's efforts to save him. Which is fair honestly, I think I would have been the same in Sebek's place. 😂

And Silver! I love how he managed to protect Azul, and I also love how he was the one who calms everyone down. We stan a chill guy like Silver.

And the way that he and Sebek fight the flowers!! Both of them really just teamed up and went, "There's nothing we can lose to when we fight together." Like girl 😭 SebeSil stans got fucking fed this event, congratulations. They were even protecting each other, with Sebek going, "Silver behind you!" and Silver going, "Sebek, to your right!" Like bro 🥺 And the way that they both made it a competition to see who can take out the most flowers!!! I swear, they may act mature (kind of), but they are Boys at heart. They just have a little rivalry........

Now onto the three SSR characters because save the best for last.

I will proceed to be annoying for the next 5 bullet points.

First off, I just love how Azul's not afraid to call out on Idia's bullshit. 😂 "Please give up on giving up" and even making him move to the back of the line when it was just the three of them so that Idia actually does shit. I love how he has that bluntness, but it does come with the friendship too.

And secondly, the moment that I am still down bad for: Azul getting rid of the flowers without damaging the tower.

Fucking bear with me here: none of the other characters attempted to destroy the flowers because they would absorb their magic. It would take so much magical power to make them wither, and the only other person who was able to get rid of them was Malleus. And we already know how terrifyingly powerful Malleus is. And even then, that caused his power to get wiped out (makes you also wonder just how much flowers within the vicinity he was able to take out).

But then Azul was able to do it. He was able to do it guys, he did it.

What's more is that he did it without destroying any of the architecture. It takes a great amount of power to take out the flowers, and that could definitely damage the tower. In chapter 6, it was seen that his magic is very precise. And you really get to see this here, because Azul concentrated his magic on the flowers and ensured that it wouldn't touch any of the walls of the tower. So effectively, he was able to get rid of the flowers without compromising Idia's and Malleus' safety (and preventing them from paying NBC for damages lmao).

What I would even love to add to this is that when the flowers surrounded them at first, Malleus volunteered to take them out, but Azul stopped him so that he could conserve his energy. And he says he'd take it out, but then Idia tells him to just let Malleus do it. That caused Azul to yell at him to shut up and let him concentrate, but think right here: Can you imagine how much his ego probably got hurt because of that comment? Like, everyone is very well aware that the strongest person with them is Malleus, so of course you'd want him to do the biggest work. But imagine just hearing that over and over and having someone say the equivalent of "let him do it because he's the only one capable of doing it". That shit definitely would hurt his pride, and Azul just... proved it in front of the two of them that he was capable of taking out the flowers with his own magic.

And he got praised by the Malleus Draconia. Please, I'm so happy for him, you don't understand.

As for Idia, him being a bitch is understandably annoying, but it's also funny and a mood. There's so much to say here about him.

First of all, you really get to see his genius shine. When he was tasked with taking care of the flowers, he uses the handkerchiefs he bought to be bait for the flowers. They held a tiny bit of magic, but the thing is, Idia tinkered with them while he was drinking his grape juice earlier, so the handkerchiefs are now much stronger and contain more magic.

But more than that, when they read Rollo's diary, Idia went really silent. And it reached a point where Azul had to tell him that no matter what, Rollo is still their enemy. Like... poor guy. Whatever was in Rollo's diary impacted him so much. It's such a sharp juxtaposition from how self-centered he was the entire event. Suddenly, he's empathetic to the point that he couldn't say anything.

... though on that note, Rollo leaving his diary in the student board room of all places is pretty funny.

Anyway, onto Malleus. I really think he did so much this part.

Absolutely love how when Silver said "look at Malleus, be calm like him", he immediately says that he's thinking of how to make Rollo feel terrible for falsely inviting him. 😂 Go Malleus, beat his ass for wronging you like that. I fully support.

When he froze from the talking gargoyle!! That. Was so cute. Like, I was smiling a lot when the gargoyle was poking him 😭 and then Malleus just suddenly unfroze and then formally introduced himself. He looked so so happy, and that had to be the most adorable thing. 🥺 And he wanted to save the gargoyle when the flowers started growing around them... I felt so bad for him in that moment because he couldn't save someone dear to him.

You know, I really like that he couldn't save the gargoyle in that moment. I think one of my favorite things about how Malleus was written in this event is that we really see just how much people look up to him. They see him as this super powerful mage who should be the one to solve the problem at the end of the day. And Malleus is very well aware of his power and of how people perceive him. He takes it all in, and he expects himself to do the job done. That's why when it came to taking out the flowers, he was the first to volunteer.

Even in the entire game, Malleus was always looked up for being powerful. But here, it's not the case. He had his power drained to the point that he couldn't fly. We actually see Silver and Sebek being able to do their jobs as guards. And we see him having to rely on the others so that he could make it to the tower. When he was going to go to save the gargoyle, he had to be stopped by Azul and Idia because he needed to conserve his energy. And now, if he wants the gargoyle to be alright, he has to rely on the bell of salvation.

I kind of wonder how he feels about this. But it's also a pretty neat change of pace from the usual 'Malleus is all powerful' narrative. And it shows something more relatable about him. I don't know, I admit that I'm rambling, but yeah. I like Malleus' writing in this event, I'm really glad for it.

Hello Anon! So sorry this took so long, I had a bit of trouble and now I'm back in action! And it's okay, I take generalized groups (First Years, Dorm Leaders, Staff, et cetera) or at least up to 5 individual characters unless you simply want a list of who and what! (Who is most likely to kiss the Reader, and stuff like that)! I also made the Reader masculine!

(Remember: Fem Aligned [She/Her and She/They] will be banned if they interact with my male works, only read and like my GN works.) (Only one exception has been made.)

Synopsis: Male Reader is oblivious to the First Years advances, and it wasn't until they tell you that you knew. If only they can confess right... !

② Ace is a very straightforward guy that does not keep his mouth shut at the best of times, only really shutting up if he's truly outclassed, and he's pretty sure his hints are obvious! He tells you he like-likes you, you say, "You too!" And he's sure it was okay until he saw your slightly unfocused gaze…

③ The conversation had dropped, and he doesn't know what you want more, so he asks you carefully about a date next week…

"So… since we're dating, would you like to go to the movies once testing is over?" He asked, his eyes shining with a new and more genuine light then normal. But you seem taken aback almost...

And your face snapped back into focusing, before a whirlwind of different emotions crossed your face! And you answer him, "D… Dating?"

④ … WHAT?! He just said he like-likes you… he wants to date you, in a romantic way! After that clarification, your eyes widen and he feels his blood pressure in his ears! Don't scare him like this, idiot! … But your acceptance helped me eliminate his nerves.

⑤ He's a cheeky little shit, so he might poke fun at your obliviousness and how glassy your eyes looked while waiting for a different conversation. "You looked so lost! Was it in my eyes?" You both know you didn't, but he won't stop because nobody but you can prove him wrong!

⑥ Sharing anything he swipes with you (knowingly or unknowingly), playing cards in private and not tricking you, and sticking it to Grim for taking his food! But in sweeter spirits: Ace does like calling you his boyfriend on campus because, well, it's true. He confessed, he got his man, he's got the happy ending! Suck it Grim!

⑦ There is also a high chance he might start using matter-of-fact terms around you, especially about his feelings and ideas… because he's not going through that again! You can't do that to your man's heart again! Deuce and Sebek say he deserved that little bit of medicine, and Jack and Epel sighed at how he almost messed it up. Hey!

① Two peas in a pod! You both have no idea how to take the hints, and run with them! If you're the oblivious type, this has probably been a slow burn since the beginning. If being oblivious is rare, how unfortunate it started now!

② While the most emotionally mature of the First Years, he's not the brightest boy in class, and only wants the best for everyone. He knows what he feels is affection, and soon love, but if he had to put it into words… Ahhh…

"I'm here for you, always. I really like you…" His confession is soft, almost sad sounding as he wants to continue.

But you cut him off, as he hadn't spoken fast enough to finish the sentence naturally. "I really like you too, maybe even a bit too much…"

③ Deuce states at you, you stare back at Deuce. It took a moment, but both of you fell back and Deuce cried out about what you said. "Do you mean it… ?! Romantically?!" He asked, and internally screamed at this turn of events.

④ Rides on his magic wheel, joining him in the garden as he paints flamingos, and all the other small bits of time you shared; it finally culminated to this!

⑤ If you and Deuce didn't accidentally matched confessions and both of them click: we'd be back to square one. And Deuce knows that that slip of the tongue was truly benevolent because he wasn't even sure about his approach.

⑥ Deuce isn't the type to hide anything unless you want to keep it secret, but he's happy your his boyfriend. He'll teach you anything you want in magic wheels, kiss his cheek, or hold his hand. He has no issue!

⑦ You two were so oblivious and uncommunicative that you had the other First Years betting on you. Who'd confess first, who'd make the move, if you two end up together? Deuce was mortified, was he that bad… ?!

① Jack's only downfall here is his tsundere nature, which can have one of two effects; either people can see right through him, or mistake his feelings. And against his will, if you're commonly oblivious or not, you seem to have missed his signs.

② He knows that smarter people like Leona, Vil, and Ruggie see through his behavior (and the other First Years, but he refuses to believe it truly) but he's still cool and tempered when he slides up next to you at an event…

③ You had to have heard him coming, his boots squeak and his chains were clicking together, and your happiness at his arrival has his face heating…

After a long conversation about the event, his tail had not stopped wagging one bit, and he groaned, "I'd do anything to make you smile like this again…"

"Thank you, Jack. Just being your friend makes me happy." You answer, watching his face contorting. You abashedly ask, "... Oh, is there something else? You look upset."

④ Yeah… Yeah, he was upset. At his own incompetence at securing you as a boyfriend, you were just the guy he wanted to date. And he was mucking this up.

⑤ After a little pause, Jack let go of his face and let the confession come out fully. "I think I might love you, I… want to ask you on a date." It was blunt, and exactly what he wanted. He's actually happy to see your reaction, as he's sure all his cool behavior hadn't broken the ice.

⑥ He's the one who helped you carry loads of books or material, actually studied with you regularly, and kept you company when you followed the rules and weren't at ADeuce and Grim's whims; please, be at his side!

⑦ Jack is the most smooth of all the boys, it's almost like oblivious types don't phase him. He knows how he is and sometimes more gullible or honest people do get confused when he gets really defensive or cold, so he knows to knock it off when he's serious.

① A boy with no knowledge or want of romantic relations until he met you, and this is what you do to him? He's already struggling and your obliviousness to his flirting is daggum atrocious!

② To be fair, I'll give you credit: Epel has no romantic knowledge and any signs he shows are rough and scrapped from another idea. If your not oblivious, Epel probably caused half of it… and if your naturally oblivious, you are nearly blind to how he feels.

③ He really has to resort to… resort to… asking Vil… and even then, he only sees brief but confused glances you give him after an attempt to do whatever it is he needs to do! Damnit! He's almost at his wits end until a potion explodes on him and you take him to the back rooms to help him clean his hair and equipment in the labs basin sink.

④ He takes a deep breath and remembers how Vil taught him this was supposed to go… all alone… no threats of interrupting, no distractions… !

"You know, you're one of the few closest friends I've ever had…" He starts slowly after you take a brush to his drying goggles, and he cleans his hair fringes. "I want something more, if you… catch my drift."

Vil's famous pick-up line gets a skeptical look thrown his way and he almost drops his comb. "Did Azul make a deal with you, Epel? Do you need help breaking out of it?"

⑤ No! He's smarter than that, what the hell?! He actually yanks a couple hairs out on accident as he denies the very notion, he'd never! He calms down enough that his vernakular comes back, and his composure settles. "No. I want more out of you and I… perhaps a date at your place?" And thank goodness you finally got it, or he'd throw the comb!

⑥ He's not shown any real romantic signs or shared too many experiences alone with you, but Vil's plans for your entire last month together was: study date alone in his room, inviting you to a Pomefiore dinner but coincidentally your the only ones there, and sporting event meetups without Leona teasing him!

⑦ Let's be honest here: Ace thought Epel would chicken out (and Deuce as well, sorry Epel). Epel is insulted but after Sebek sort of confirms his lackluster wooing practices, Epel sighed in defeat… then laughed in their face, cause who has the pretty cool boyfriend?! Not them!

𒆜ֆɛɮɛӄ ʐɨɢʋօʟȶ𒆜

① Ace and Jack thought this was the easiest thing to do. Sebek is a loud and outgoing individual, so Sebek really should have no qualms against telling you but it seems he does! Ace couldn't believe it but: Sebek was shy!

② Sebek has many things running in his head and none of them are in his favor for confessing: will you even like him? Will you even entertain his fantasies? You're an attractive guy, why settle for Sebek?

③ Oh, but if getting riled up by the fellow First Years didn't get him moving, then nothing would. He was no coward, Ace! He was sure about this, Jack! Don't think he can't do this, Deuce! Have faith, Epel! And upon his arrival, he makes mistake number one:

"You! Yes, you!" His heart is beating in his chest and his gloves are starting to feel damp and tight on his hands. He had caught you before you could enter campus. "I like you!"

You, walking around in the campus for your classwork or something else, looked a little startled. "Oh, Sebek. Good morning, and you too…"

④ … Mistake number one of any communication starter: he didn't ease into it, or make it blunt. Unlike how he usually was, he messed up and now you and he were just standing there.

⑤ He should probably go back, he should probably start from the top… But that seems to only ever charge forward! He now adds to what he said before, "I like you, a lot! A lot, a lot!" And to be honest, it probably took you both a good minute to finally understand what he meant (he panicked)!

⑥ He and you often find each other in physical education so being together is natural, your time at lunch is usually far exceeding normal times to talk, and he really does enjoy learning your favorite subject while walking with you. Thankfully, in the end, you both finally got together.

⑦ Being boyfriends with Sebek will have Ace and Epel clapping your back and wishing you well (one sincerely, one not so sincerely), and Jack and Deuce give Sebek advice on normal things outside royalty and school life… he doesn't get out much, but that won't stop you two!

What would riddles mom do if phoebe came to spend the night with riddle and brings some of her pokémon or even better what happens if she stays the night with each character and bring two or three pokemon with her how would the families react/act

Okay so... this would be a long answer...

Heartslabyul

I don't think Riddle's mom would want her to stay at their place for a sleepover because those would be a "waste of time". Riddle would definitely come over to Trey's though.

Riddle would only have sleepovers during school, I bet. But on the occassion that he has to house Phoebe in his home would be the time where Trey's family would be too busy with the bakery to have a sleepover.

Phoebe would feel uncomfortable when she meets his mom. She was very strict and nitpicked her background. Phoebe was annoyed but said nothing and tuned her out.

She does feel bad for Riddle for having to put up with her, not to mention he almost ruined his life by almost ending up with her attitude.

Ms. Rosehearts would proabably make comments how her familiars would be better off with owners with better potential. Phoebe wouldn't outright start yelling but she would just tell Ms. Rosehearts that she came from a different culture.

Magicless doesn't equate to useless, she's making it out that magic determines a person's worth in society?

Maybe for Ms. Rosehearts it is, but Phoebe's bond and potential with her Pokemon are what gave her a spot in NRC (That's the cover story Crowley told her to tell the public).

Of course, she would say it politely as to not make a scene and would leave soon after. Riddle wouldn't be scolded because his mother would be left speechless yet unable to argue back.

She would go set up a tent in a park or smth.

Ace brought Phoebe over because his brother and mother won't stop nagging at him to have the girl sleepover at their place when they heard she live so far away that she can't spend the holidays at her family's.

Phoebe would bring over Swablu/Altaria (Depending on if he evolved) and Smeargle over. Ace's brother would prank Ace by having Smeargle doodle over his face.

At least the Pokemon made him look like a mona lisa, so it's pretty right?

Deuce would be anxious because the only "friends" he's had were bad influences, he's never had any good friends come over for a slumber party before.

Plus, she's a girl, should he buy nail polish and hair clips for this? That's what girls do at sleepovers in movies...

This boy needs to chill, Phoebe is down to just look at baby pictures his mom would show her.

Speaking of which, his mom would tear up now that Deuce has proper friends. Swablu/Altaria would be brought over, maybe Aggron too.

His mom might be scared of the metal dinosaur at first but after hearing the backstory, she might see Aggron as a sweetheart. He did try to assist her in gardening.

Swablu/Altaria would constantly be smothered by Deuce or his mom because it's a fluffly cloud bird! Who would pass up on the opportunity to hug it?

Trey's family would be excited when he told them Phoebe was coming over. Of course, his siblings would be very, VERY excited.

Phoebe brought over Smeargle, Slurpuff and Ditto with her. She didn't want to make things difficult at the bakery, so she insisted bringing some "master cooks" to their shop.

Trey's parents are in awe at the teamwork Slurpuff and Smeargle were doing in the kitchen. They were sold out after a day! That sensitive nose does wonders for chefs!

Trey's siblings love Ditto! It shapeshifts into anything! Trey almost got a heart attack when he walked in to see a clone of himself doing a silly dance while juggling.

Cater and his sisters are gonna be a chaotic bunch, mainly his sisters who drgas Phoebe into makeovers.

Cater would internally applogize for his pushy siblings but at least he's not the one being smudged with lipstick or hairpins placed on his hair.

But if Cater ever wants to hangout with Phoebe, they'd need a good distraction.... in comes Ditto to the rescue, just a perfect clone of Cater as the two skedaddle outside and goof off.

Savanaclaw

Leona wouldn't suggest a sleepover unless Cheka begs him to bring Phoebe over.

She figured she could bring over certain Pokemon good with kids such as Kangaskhan and maybe the rest of the baby Pokemon just to keep Leona on his toes.

Kangaskhan and the babies kept Cheka company. Farena and his wife absolutely adore the babies. They would definitely pester Leona to invite Phoebe over more to see more of the cute babies.

Ruggie doesn't seem like the type to do sleepovers, so maybe Phoebe will have to do some venturing into the Afterglow Savanna for something and she'll have to stay near the slum area.

Ruggie knows that she's capable but there are thugs out there that would steal from her. So, he offers to have her stay in his small home, its not much but it's the safest place he can guarantee.

Phoebe sets up her tent in his backyard to not take up space in their house. She felt a bit bad occupying thier home even if it was temporary. Granny Bucchi shrugs it off and is actually thrilled to see the famed beast tamer again.

She's gonna want that malasada and poffin recipe, and have Phoebe try her version of it.

Phoebe didn't bring Pokemon for sleep over but for foraging and searching. She brought Corviknight to keep watch over her and Haxorus to help excavate stuff.

But it seems like the Pokemon are hanging at the Bucchi's place. Haxorus was at least a sweetie in helping Granny do some home repairs while Corviknight keep watch in the neighborhood.

Of course, with such large Pokemon the kids in the neighborhood are sure to come running here to see.

Corviknight is calm and lets the hyena cubs climb over him and use him as a slide or shade. Haxorus feels compelled to plant something in Granny's garden because the soil apparently was good quality.

Granny Bucchi would have flowers and fruits growing in a week due to Haxorus' naturally green thumb.

Spending a sleepover at Jack's place, Phoebe would bring Ninetales and Houndour to keep warm. Of course, Jack would ask for Maractus too.

His siblings would cuddle with Ninetales and Houndour because how warm they were. Ninetales usually gets so fussy with anyone messing the fur but for now, she's tolerating just a little bit.

Maybe because of the beastmen features...

Houndour is a grumpy pup but he's suddenly less grumpy when Jack's parents fed him some steak. Win him over with food, the good ol tactic.

Octavinelle

In all honesty, Phoebe would need to be given a transformation potion to visit their home.

I'd imagine her having a tail like a Gyarados but it's red.

She'd bring most of her Water-types to visit, plus they needed to stretch and swim about after being cooped up in the dorm pond or just exploring the limited area of Octavinelle.

Azul's parents would be fascinated to see such intriguing sea creatures. Lapras and Dracovish most of all would definitely get a lot of attention because they look like the sea serpents or something from the depths.

Vaporeon too would get attention, he looked like a creature in the middle of evolving from fish to mammal.

Azul's parents would welcome her to their home and show her the restaurant. His mom may or may not try to show her the baby pictures, Azul desperately trying to stop his mother.

His father would be very interested as to how a mere human found such creatures, he's certainly never seen anything like them. Azul has to chip in to convince his father of a cover story because there's no getting past that man almost.

The leech twins would be more intimidating from what Azul tells her, basically they're the fish mafia. She ought to be careful though, Papa Leech has a gleam in his eyes when he saw her familiars with her.

Mama Leech though, she's already greeting her with a smile and would probably dote on her Pokemon, mostly Dracovish.

Scarabia

Kalim's 30+ siblings would swarm her if it weren't for Jamil directing the other servants to save the guest from the stampede. Phoebe would bring someone that could tolerate kids and keep them entertained as well.

What better way to do that than bring her Eevee team and Seviper over.

Kalim always does a parade, Phoebe thought she should make an entrance when arriving at his estate.

The entire family was gathered to greet her along with the servants. And they see Phoebe command the Eevees in a formation that was amazing to see.

His parents would praise her command over such extraordinary creatures. Kalim's siblings would interact with certain Eeveelutions that match their personality and temperment.

Some energetic ones would play tag with Jolteon, some calmer ones hang around Vaporeon and so on.

Jamil and his family would get Seviper's utmost attention since he did take a liking to the boy.

Jamil is fine with Seviper and introduces him to his family as he explains that Phoebe cares for the creature. They might be taken aback with such a large snake at first but upon seeing how the Pokemon is more like a puppy, they'd coddle Seviper in no time.

Najma would take pictures and is mesmerized by the Pokemon's beautiful patterns, she might think of buying outfits in Seviper's colors next time.

Pomefiore

Vil's version of a sleepover would be when the modeling team needed a partner for Vil's photoshoot because the theme was fantasy. Vil thought of borrowing Phoebe's Pokemon for that.

He'd ask her and she'd obviously have a guest room in his house as well as the studio he'll be in.

Phoebe would bring in he ones that Vil would say fit the image for the photoshoot the most.

Such as Umbreon and Espeon, Ninetales and Morelull. Meeting Vil's father was hilarious because she thought he was Vil's older brother, the man is flattered and proud at the fact he's still got his youth.

The photoshoot would be a success, though it would take a while to get the staff to do their job instead of gawking at the pokemon.

The director can't decide which to pick and just goes with all of them, granting Vil more pages in the magazines.

Rook inviting Phoebe over would be a first since she's never really expected him to have sleepovers with how all over the place he was.

But his family saw the photos he took of the Pokemon, whether Phoebe knows or not, and they wanted to see for themselves.

Phoebe was going to pick a Pokemon to bring but Rook also suggested she brings Steelix along.

Wait! He's a big guy, Rook! You sure?

Apparently his father was very interested in Steelix. A large metal snake beast that is capable of breaking the school into rubble yet he doesn't do that.

He wants to know how in the world can she also manage to feed such a beast with all her other familairs too.

Hoo boy, it'll be quite the conversation.

Epel told his folks about Phoebe and now they're asking if he can have her join them for a sleepover.

Of course, she brings Appletun who overheard that Epel's home town has apples in it. She also brought Meganium over because she loves gardens.

The villagers has to do a double take because there's a walking apple pie and a green dinosaur with a flower. As soon as they get over their initial shock, they appreciate the Pokemon.

Meganium made the plants healthier wherever she goes while Appletun is so pudgy and such a puppy.

Phoebe and Granny Felmier chat about exchanging recipes and of course Phoebe gets a nice warm home-cooking.

Ignihyde

No sleepovers at STYX I'm afraid, but Phoebe would be down to hang in their dorm for an introvert slumber party.

She'll bring Porygon Z and her Rotom (Dexter) over since they were very curious on the concept of a creature made entirely of code or something that can possess machines.

Idia and Ortho have a field day with the other Ignihyde students in studying the two Pokemon. Rotom and Porygon Z trying to out do the other in impressing the audience.

Phoebe also would be given a chance to play some of the games they have here. Of course she also brought snacks made from the berries in her garden, healthy snacking and all.

Diasomnia

Malleus would probably have to make some arrangements because having Phoebe sleepover is like a big deal for Malleus. He's never had that much friends to invite to a sleepover.

Phoebe brought her Dragon-types (including Dracovish and Altaria) and Fairy-types to the Valley of Thorns.

Of course, rest of the Diasomnia Quartet are included. The servants would get the chance to see the famed beast tamer that Lilia would often talk about.

Though they might be a bit disappointed because Lilia may have painted such a grand image of Phoebe.

But they would change their tune when they witness a sparring match between Phoebe's dragons and the retainers. Such a powerful creature on the field that strikes with ferocity yet has a gentle personality.

The fairy Pokemon would look out of place due to them not resembling any fairy the fae can recall. I think they'd be very shocked to even see a fairy let themselves be contracted with a human. They don't dare question it though, Malleus gave a bold fae a stern glare when he asked Phoebe.

Malleus' grandmother would probably join them during dinner. Phoebe can feel the powerful prescence and keep silent until spoken to.

His grandmother was intrigued as she sees the creatures and Phoebe interact. Her little acts of caring are a sign of her being a person worthy of such familairs despite being magicless.

Malleus' most favorite of the Pokemon were Haxorus and Mimikyu. He'd show his grandmother the two, Haxorud does exude strength while Mimikyu has mystery like a fae would.

His grandmother might take her time to share small interactions when she wasn't busy. Mimikyu getting small sweets and Haxorus be given a flower from time to time.

Sebek and Silver would insist that Slurpuff be in charge of the food, Lilia must be kept out of the kitchen. Plus, they won't pass the opportunity to have such good food from Slurpuff.

They were kinda envious that Grimm gets to eat the good food all the time.
