Why has Barnaby made TWO hospital visits in one year??? What was the first one about??? [<-Talking about the Human AU]
no yeah the first one was Howdy's brief stint (a couple hours) for the whole smoke inhilation minor injuries from the fire thing.
the second one was for Wally's festive lil car crash where he comes very close to Fuckign Dying!!! and. well. technically there are many different visits for that one cause he's in the hospital for a hot sec, but yk. technically only two hospital-worthy events

It really makes me laugh when I see people taking atla so seriously. like u guys. if a person wants to ship 2 characters together then let them. u don’t need to go on a whole impassioned rant about how ‘oh but- but that’s not- but they’d never’ I’m squishing my hand over your mouth and shushing you and placing a soft fuzzy blanket over your shoulders and handing you warm tea. like guys. yes it’s cool that this show has so many important themes and a lot of stuff to unpack. But it is, at its core, a goofy little kids show.
There’s also stuff to say about how people slander characters for no reason other than them having trauma/ being flawed human beings but that’s another conversation.

“I know you saw something,” Gallagher whispers, stepping forward like a dead man on a mission.
Mickey winces. Wills himself back into his body, his eyes drifting shut as he calls to the scattered bits of his blissed out brain.
The time has come to fold.
“Yeah…”
The chaos spreads the room as Gallagher shifts again. Mickey’s pulse races, relying on sound and vibration to track his movements.
“I just need to know one thing.”
Mickey peeks, curious, then breathless at their newfound proximity.
They lock in eye to eye as Gallagher rips them apart:
“Do I make it through?”

You know I once went to a family gathering (mostly consisting of cousins aunt's and uncles all blood related to my mother's side only) and there were like... around a 100 people there (no I am not kidding.)
So projecting as I like to do.
That's Soap with his family, like when he says he has a big fam HE MEANS BIG.
He’s talking about a 100+ amount of people just on his mother’s side.
The first time he takes Ghost to one of these gatherings Soap’s like 'oh so that's aunt Hannah and her seven kids-'
Ghost is nodding along... Baffled to say the least, also extremely confused on how there can be so many people in just on family

Damonient
After Minuinne's untimely death, the life Rise's soul moved onto have was that of a Gridanian, Wildwood leatherworker. However, the transition for her soul was anything but smooth, because the Angoul of Minuinne's time took her death so well that he spent the next several years practicing necromancy in an effort to bring her back to life. Though his efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, he did trap Minuinne's soul in a limbo for the duration, instead of it being allowed to simply move on and be reborn.
The unfortunate side-effect of that was that the poor soul was very, very tired by the time Angoul of the time gave up and made its rebirth possible. For Damonient, that has meant what has essentially materialized as lifelong depression, except soul-level. There has been no fixing how empty, hollow and pointless life has always felt for him, despite his life always having been good. He is and always has been a passionless husk of a person, trudging from one day to the next not out of will, but simple force of habit.
Of course, then he meets a certain Duskwight who resonates with him on such a level that from the first word they exchanged... Something, a spark of something is finally lit up in him.

Man I really wish Taylor Zakhar Perez were in more stuff. There’s only so many times I can watch these Kissing Booth movies and I don’t think I can do 1-Up even for him.

Low key love all your witchery ideas guys! Working on a few this weekend for fun, love the AUs energy so much
The trio being friends/lovers not rivals is a nice dynamic, instead of the usual butting of heads that goes on. Found family my beloved.

ok watched the first 2 eps of ripley im not even mad girls im just confused. why is he so. charmless. even slimy? they really commit to them being in their thirties so like the entire premise doesnt make any sense anymore like you are grown ass men be SERIOUS. the whole subplot with the suitcase is extremely weird and telling abt how they characterize tom— it would make sense if he was like 20 and a bit naive which hes supposed to be. youre telling me a supposedly street smart fully grown man thought drug running would be a hilarious lark and easy to sell to dickie? you’re nuts if you think that. like the big thing i keep coming to is that this tom doesnt even seem smart! what are we doing the UNTALENTED mr ripley here?? it’s like his whole thing that he’s extremely clever in a tight spot and a great bullshitter (bound to fail eventually but not an idiot) but im not getting that from this at ALL! i have no idea why dickie would find him charming enough to keep around and i have no idea why tom wants(/wants to be?) dickie. everyone is flat and lethargic seeming. the whole pace is lethargic. the best part of the book is this constant pace of events that wont let up it has urgency. but stretched to 8 eps we’re left lazing around. and thats not even touching the weird way they handle the gayness of the story. so it’s not gay but he is gay but not really and it doesnt matter. huh? rn it’s like they barely even seem like friends at all. you dont understand why dickie would let tom live with him. they need to be at least platonically enamored by one another for the premise to make LOGICAL SENSE. the cinematography is so deeply beautiful and gorgiana but like… in service of what???? They wont let my boy andrew scott have interesting emotions im furious rn.

Sometimes I think about the first Doctor pre An Unearthly Child and I'm like. Okay so he had dubious looming/parentage, slept in a barn most of his childhood, killed a boy with a rock, killed two of his friends in an endless toy dimension after having a breakdown over a flower, got expelled, got married to a woman older than his kithriarch, passed his exams (finally) on the third try, had 13 kids (somehow???), fell out with every single one of his ex best friends, did something bad enough that the president ordered his own brother to assassinate both him and his granddaughter and he ended up running away to keep her safe. And also one of his companions from like 1000 years in the future was there and its implied that the universal concepts premeditated the whole thing but whatever. And it all happened within like 300 years.
All I'm saying is its no wonder he kidnapped Barbra and Ian if that's what we're working with
