Ok since you’re still here my thoughts on loveater

Well first thing that the crew really hyped the episode to have spoilers for Chat Blanc and Felix where there isn’t really any? I mean from the start of the episode it looks like our status quo. maybe except for chloe’s parents hating each other (Andre more specifically bc up to now he seemed to “love” Audrey)

But what thrived in this episode was the OT3 Kagami, Adrien, and Marinette 

FUCK THE LOVE SQUARE I THRIVE ON MY OT3 AND LUKANETTE

They’re such good friends I can’t they make me weak to my knees yo.

Marinette with her hair loose wasn’t much as I expected bc I’ve seen to many edits if Marinette with her hair down I’m just k. But Kagami and Adrien were so bi for Marinette u cannot convince me otherwise 👀👌

Chloe’s betrayal didn’t surprise me but my theory is that she playing along an tuns against Hawkmoth since she already knows how to refused being akumatized. Double betrayal woot woot

Cat Noir finally respecting a woman’s decision and called ladybug, ladybug cuz SHE AINT YOUR WOMAN CHAT TO BE CALLING MY LADY 👏👏 only took him to open his eyes with Kagami (I know French culture and stuff about mlady being out of respect and stuff but chat noir also calls her bugaboo and Ladybug was clearly upset by that too so..anyways my opinion on the mlady thing)

I'm surprised you're not as big a fan of Season 2/haven't been posting much about it! ='. Is there any particular reason? There's been a lot of quality love square moments, ladynoir especially in some of the most recent eps. Knowing your love for that corner of the square, I have a feeling you'd really dig the new content too!

(i told meta about this ask and she told me ‘you can sum it up to “i left the fandom"‘ and like i could but. rant under the cut oops.)

maybe i’ve just been watching the wrong episodes or something? but i watched audimatrix and riposte—i winced straight through the first, and then somehow ended up shipping adrimi twice as hard as adrinette/ladrien in the second. i couldn’t even get past the first 5 minutes of the one that started with marinette outlining the ‘let’s get adrien’ plan to the girls.

(plus… the fandom/content was stressing me out even before season 2, and i’ve had it blacklisted for a while. i’ve only been dipping into very certain blogs when i needed to refill my queue.)

it’s like… just tonally different enough from s1 to fall into my own personal uncanny valley, i guess? i remember i used to call ml ‘fanfictionier with every episode’ and it kind of feels like the episodes i’ve seen have stepped over the line of enjoyable crack self-indulgence to… not exactly ooc-land, but getting close to it. and this should be nitpick, but i loathe the lighting. just… blech.

(it… may not help that i only really enjoyed adrinette for adrinette’s sake when it consisted solely of marinette making a fool of herself somewhere in adrien’s peripheral vision. marinette’s stalker tendencies are a lot more unnerving when adrien actually gives her the time of day.)

SO ANYWAY basically the content i’ve seen hasn’t pleased me and voltron has allurance, which gives me Those Good Ladynoir Vibes without: 1. marinette’s stalking habit 2. the vaguely nauseating experience of watching adrien fall for someone who has had his schedule memorized for months3. me having anything to do with the people getting death threats over fictional characters4. me having anything at all to do with the people making hit lists encouraging death threats over fictional characters

so over to voltron i’m headed. :’D just gonna be posting things that were mostly already done here and there, whenever i find them.

The boy seats next to her little girlfriend, and gives her hers tea.

Kagami rise her head, staring at him in silence.

Someone: Yes?, Sweet cherry pie?. Recognizing that voice, the japanese lady suddenly open her eyes, founding a handsome cat boy 2cm apart from her face. Kagami: ... Chat Noir: Usually, after defeating a new villain, I just want to rest in a roof top, but this time I'm open to change my routine. Kagami's cheeks were burning, making the girl hide her blushing. While he takes tenderly the brown sugar eyed girl's hand, who was speechless, gazing at the green hypnotic eyed boy.

Chat Noir: ...Miss Kagami, Would you like to be this handsome cat girlfriend?. Throwing herself to his, she embraces the cat boy around his neck, to what he immersed his face in her neck, while caressing the lovely girl's soft hair. Chat Noir: I'll take it, like you have said, Yes. Kagami: Yes, Chat Noir, I'm so happy to be your girlfriend. Thank you for taking care of me. Chat Noir kisses her forehead, then her nose and finished his way kissing her peach colored lips. Chat Noir: Hehe, I have always dreamed about doing this… Kagami: What?... In silence the blonded cat boy layed down slowly his body surrounding her waist to her back tightly, placing his face on her stomach while a soft peaceful smile on his face made Kagami's heart melted by this boy who always make her so happy. Chat Noir: I love you, Kagami. The blue haired girl stroked his head and kissed it softly. Kagami: I love you too, Chat. And without notice it, the soft breeze make the young couple to fall asleep in the porch with a lovely smile on their faces.
