Aarmau: You're afraid to differentiate from canon, even if it might not be the most interesting option. Either that or you REALLY have a thing for tall myterious dudes with tragic backstories who are kind of a dick to you. "I can fix him" energy. It's not going to work.

Garmau: You're into the classics. And hey, we've already spent about three quarters of the series dealing with this man's Daddy Issues, we might as well get something out of it.

Laurmau: You get mad when people miss the 'u' in the name. You notice the details of the story, and you're a sucker for beauty-and-the-beast type narritives. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it's yours. And you're way less annoying about it than a lot of the others. Possibly a multishipper?

Zanmau: What the fuck is wrong with you. You either have a rape fetish, or you think he'd somehow come around to being a good guy in this story, which was never set up to happen. Big possiblity that you liked Game of Thrones for all the wrong reasons.

Gartemau: I have only seen one person say they shipped this, and for the sake of my sanity I choose to believe they were kidding.

Tablmau: You're sick of the shipping wars.

Zoeymau: You're a really sweet person with a thing for cottagecore lesbians. You probably make really good fanart.

(Couldn't think of what the ship name for this one is but Cadenza and Aphmau): You care a lot about the storyline value of each character, and think that no matter what a couple should support eachother. You also overlap a surprising amount with Aphlyn shippers.

Aphlyn: You have a thing for hot warrior ladies, and honestly good for you. You like the stoic, tortured soul vibes Garroth gives, but don't like how the fandom treats him as an incorruptable knight in shining armour, even if that's inaccurate. Or you just wanted it to be gay.

Aphcinda: You have good taste.

Travmau: You used to be in the Laurmau camp, but feel his fuckboyness should be more exadurated.

Shadmau: You're one for historical accuracy, but not for healthy relationships.

Vyladmau: You like very rare ships simply for the sake of being different. I don't fully understand you, but it's far from the worst choice you could have made.

opinion on genemau?

In MCD? I risk getting flamed for my take on how that would go, but the key word there is ✨toxic✨

In MyStreet? Especially if it were during season 3, I could actually see it. Gene's genuine attempt to reach out and make amends to Aphmau might not initially be romantically motivated, but his high school crush could start acting up again now that the age gap doesn't matter as much.

Aphmau would totally do Gene's eyeliner and he would teach her how to dress in a more alternative style so they can have a fun night on the town. Also Aphmau probably doesn't have a lot of experience drinking meanwhile Gene has his bartender licence so he might have to help drag her stumbling ass back home after she insists on having the same drinks Gene is having despite being a total lightweight.

Wait why is this so adorable? I... I didn't think I could be convinced to ship this but I just convinced myself... Thanks anon!

"The Shadow Knights?" She asked. "Its real stupid, thats what they call their group. They're just mischief makers, really, but -" Laurance cut himself off, taking a deep breath instead of finishing his sentence. Aphmau looked at him, confused, which he noticed. He chuckled, slightly. Setting his elbow against the bench arm, resting his head on his palm, fingers gently tracing against one of the scars around his blueish-white eyes. "But, they can be much worse than that, if you really know them." Aphmau nodded, humming a reply, connecting the dots in her head. "So, you were with them?" She asked, then regretted asking almost instantly. "Yeah. When I was a freshman, I thought they were cool. I thought," Laurance hesitated, "he was cool. They're nothing but trouble, Genes not as bad around Dante, though." Aphmau nodded along, listening to him. "Hes definitely responsible for Dantes recent outgoing spurt, though." The word 'outgoing' was emphasized, sarcastically, though an undertone of genuine concern was obvious. "I see." Aph responded, deciding she was certainly not going to go near that group. "I highly recommend not talking to them." Laurance clicked his tongue. Aphmau nodded, quickly agreeing with him. "Got it!" She noted. She made a mental note to avoid that side of the park, and to watch out for them at school. She definitely wasnt going to talk to them again, and especially not hang out with them. Ever. ​​​​​​

The fact that there's real drama in the aphmau community is odd to me.

Ship wars? This isn't 2016 anymore. And Im positive nobody likes the pure baseline canon of the series.

Even with people shipping things that are typically problematic, just ignore it and move on if it upsets you. This is the internet and you can't play police with everything you don't like.

"but this person ships einmau" don't give them interaction then. Just move on, ignore them and move on. Putting energy into trying to argue and fight someone over something like that is just stupid. You have the power to just scroll away and block it.

I don't like einmau, I don't like aarmau, canon genemau is weird too. But that doesn't mean I harass people about it and make hate posts over ships.

I hate most of the mystreet parents, but you don't see me bringing that hate towards people in the fandom. Because that's idiotic and rude.

my first answer would have to be...

a lot of the het ships 😭

i can think of maybe one whole character i think of as het (jeffory.) but unfortunately there are still a lot of m/f ships that i like a lot and give a lot of attention to in my rewrite (which i write in like, once a month, lol) like kiki & bodolf, genemau, etc. even gar- and laurmau, but at least those are very big parts of the original story.

it mostly comes from a lack of female characters (in the beginning, at least) and since aphmau is the main character, most ships are going to include her, but 😭 like why am i invested in straight people romance.... sad!
