Unpopular opinion but I don’t think we should be demonizing people who do things for attention. You may find it “annoying” but a healthy person wouldn’t go to extreme lengths for attention. Attention seeking behaviors are really common in many mental illnesses, as well as it being a common trauma response. Attention seeking behaviors are a cry for help and people deserve to get that help instead of getting dismissed or laughed at for being dramatic.
