John Doe looks a little suspect right now. He calls himself a crime scene investigator and somehow he didn’t find or collect any of the info Matt and the team just did? He said there was nothing useful there, but I’d say the stuff they found was important. Was John Doe’s only motive to find the lantern and ignore everything else? Did he find one, take it and lie to the team about it? (Honestly he's felt a little off ever since he returned from being MIA. Maybe Syntec got to him somehow while he was on the run.)
