Percy gets overstimulated REALLY easily so he’s had a RBF since birth (always cranky cause nothing was ever right). And when he was in elementary + beginning of middle school he used to skip class cause the kids were too loud and the lights were just too bright.

Headcanon that he was overstimulated for the entirety of TTC. That + Annabeth was gone he was not having a good time. Thalia and Zoë were driving him crazy he had a 10yo depending on him everyone was side eyeing him he held up the SKY.

All that plus feeling like he needed to rip his skin off. No wonder he was miserable lmao.
