#I never told him that I didn't watch Scoob! because it seemed like it was meant to set up other movies

My brother worked on Scoob! and I’m pretty sure was working on the sequel.
He hasn’t outright said it, but he did say that the movie he was working on was cancelled and they’re still expected to finish it.
I do no understand the film/animation industry.

Waiting for you
I was wondering if you could do a Bucky x reader fluff where reader takes Bucky to the aquarium because he's never been, and they see lots of turtles, penguins, etc. And he really enjoys himself and at the end he confesses his feelings for the reader and is so grateful for her xx
Requested by @like-what-the-fuck-scoob

You looked down at the piece of paper that came through from under the door.
Be ready for 1
-Bucky
You didn't want to admit it but the simple note made you smile. As much as you tried to play hard to get, Bucky was on a mission. A lot of times you were bitchy, hating the world and the people in it. Especially the people. You could never see the good in the world, a pessimist if you will.
You had a guard up all the time, never letting people in, pushing your close ones away.
Bucky understood you, he knew what you were like. He was the same. Keyword there was. After everything, he found peace, not perfect but he was doing better. And when he saw you for the first time sulking in a coffee shop, he felt a zing. That's how he described it, maybe because he just watched Hotel Transylvania because Sam gave him a list. He liked it more than he admitted but he wouldn't say that to Sam.
You didn't even raise your head when a large shadow blocked the light from your reading, which made you annoyed, what didn't. You hated being disturbed, especially from reading. You looked up at him, a frown on your face at the stranger. Maybe at one point in your life, you would've blushed because of his attractiveness, not at this point. At this point, you're annoyed at the disturbance. Your face must've shown your annoyance because then Bucky started rambling about that there were no empty tables and if he could sit there. He seemed cute, but you shook that thought out of your head immediately not liking what he made you feel. For all you know he could be a serial killer, he wasn't though.
Snapping out of the memory, you looked at the note again wondering how you two got to this point. You were a bitch to him. You didn't want to be but you were guarding yourself. You couldn't afford to get hurt again, especially by Bucky. But he never gave up, he looked past your bitterness and have you a smile that melted your heart each time. You'd never tell him but he had the most gorgeous smile you've ever seen.
You grumbled at yourself, almost angry at how Bucky got into your life. He was resilient, which you admired about him. Every time you tried to shut him out, he slithered back in. You weren't actively trying to play hard to get but you had issues. You told him that, you told him that you're not a nice person, that you can't give him what he wants. Yet he just smiled at you and assured you that he'll wait for whenever you were ready.
You moved to your room to get ready, fighting the smile on your face. Now knowing where he was taking you, you opted for something casual. Looking back at your clock, you saw that you still had 15 minutes, you thought to make some coffee because if you had to get through the day, you needed it. Before you stepped into your kitchen there was a knock on your door. You looked through the peephole, surprised at the sight of Bucky.
“I thought you were meeting me at 1?” You don’t know how you managed to talk when you saw Bucky. All he wore was jeans and a blue henley, but he shouldn’t have looked that good. You managed to stop your staring not before you saw a small smirk on his face.  “I thought you might need coffee first” With all your staring, you missed the cup of coffee in his hand, offering it to you. You gladly accepted it, your lips twitching fighting a smile. You couldn’t help yourself and you managed to full-on grin at the gesture.
Bucky swore his heart stopped. He has gotten a smile out of you a few times, but not this, this was you. It was you opening up and enjoying life. This was one of the moments he’d always cherish. He wished he could’ve taken a picture of your smile, knowing you don’t always share this happy side of yourself, but beggars can’t be choosers. Your smile dropped however when you realised you were still smiling, you still offered him a small smile almost like an apology, but he didn’t care. He would just find more things to make you smile like that again.
“Um, we should get going right, if you’re gonna murder me the hallway isn’t the best idea”  Your dry tone making the joke funnier than it was, made Bucky laugh, a sound that you loved. Hold up, love, no way. There was no way in hell- and omg you’re in love with Bucky. Your mind was going crazy at the revelation and you definitely didn’t hide your facial expression, horror showing on your face.
“Hey, are you okay? Is something wrong?” Of course, Bucky was worried, you looked like you were going to shit your pants. “Um yeah, we should go now, you know before we’re late” You managed to snap out of your thoughts trying to understand how you were going to make it through the day without spilling the beans, or the coffee.
You slipped past and closed the door, ready to head towards the elevator, when he gently held onto your wrist, checking to make sure you were okay for today. “Are you sure you’re okay, we could- we could not go out you know” You quickly shut that down though, not wanting Bucky to get the wrong idea. “I promise I’m fine, I was just thinking that- um that- thinking about if you were to murder me and you know that stuff” You ended your horrible explanation with a chuckle that couldn’t even convince a toddler, much less a grown man, a very attractive grown man to be specific.
“Well don’t worry, there won’t be a murder until at least the third date” Your eyes widened at his words when you heard the word ‘date’, was this a date. You two did things together often but those weren’t dates. That made you nervous, you didn’t want that pressure on you, but it’s just a date right, you couldn’t even remember the last time you went on a date. Were you supposed to be polite, were you supposed to hold his hand. You wouldn’t mind doing these things with Bucky, not that you’d want to. Right now you were doing a horrible job at calming yourself down, Bucky didn’t even look nervous so maybe it didn’t mean what you thought it did.
You were wrong. You couldn’t see it but Bucky had to change three times because he kept sweating through his clothes. He tried to sleep last night, and this time there weren’t any nightmares, just pure nerves.
Before you could embarrass yourself any further, you thought to get the day going and you would be lying if you said you weren’t excited to see what Bucky had planned. “So where are we going today?” While walking to the elevator, you realised he didn’t let go of your wrist and you didn’t want him to, so you left it there liking the feeling of his hand on yours.
“I know you don’t like surprises, but I was hoping this could be an exception” That was true, you didn’t like surprises, you liked to be in the know of everything, about how your day would be. You weren’t a control freak or anything, you just needed to have that control in your life.
“Fine, just for today, since it’s a date and all that” You knew he was smiling without looking at him, so you turned your attention away from him, failing to fight the smile on your face.
Luckily he didn’t give you a blindfold on the way, otherwise, you’d really be convinced that he was going to lead you to your death. At first, you thought you would’ve offended him by saying that knowing a bit about his past, but he never said anything and he only smiles. That damn smile always does something to you. You never want to admit it but it does.
When you came up to your destination, you accidentally let out a small squeal at the sight of the aquarium. You’ve been here before, you just needed wanted the peace and quiet and you loved coming here to see all the animals, especially the penguins. You’ve talked to bucky about the aquarium since he’s never been to one. It was one of the places on his list, now his list consisted of things he wanted to do with you. The only reason he wanted to come here was because of you, the way you talked about the different species of fish and your interpretation of whales noises. Those were some of the times where you let yourself talk freely, where you didn’t think about what he thought of you, you were just being yourself. He just wished you were like that more often.
Stopping yourself from jumping up and down like a child, you held yourself together looking up at the huge sign in front of you. You took Bucky’s hand in yours and led the way, knowing this place like the palm of your hand, you could easily navigate to your favourite spots. You didn’t turn back to see the huge grin on his face looking down at your intertwined hands. He didn’t say anything to make you uncomfortable or pull back from him, so he let you guide him throughout the aquarium.
His eyes never left you, even though the entire purpose of today was to explore the aquarium, he couldn’t take his eyes off of you. And he didn’t mind. In reality, this trip was mostly for your benefit. He wanted you to feel like yourself again and he took note of your favourite things. He made a bucket list of sorts for things both of you could do together. He didn’t want to tell you about his big plan though if he did he knew you would back out and push him away but he didn’t even want that. He wanted to be there for you, to be with you and he wasn’t going to let anything stop him.
He could tell now, after a few hours, that you were getting quite hangry, even though it was much more level than usual. He suggested that the two of you buy some fast food, to brighten your day even more. He knew you were a sucker for any fast food, so he got a point for that.
Before leaving, you carried him to see the penguins, actually waddling when you got close to them, not caring if anyone looked at you funny. If they did, they would’ve seen the 6-foot man behind you and stop immediately. You giggled seeing the penguins waddling, careful not to lean too much against the barrier.
You looked to see if Bucky was bored at all, realising you hadn't heard a peep from him all day, the only person talking was you. A blush formed on your cheeks when you saw that Bucky was staring right at you, not even wavering in his stare. You wondered if he even paid attention to whatever you said today but you couldn’t care less, you were happy that he was here at all. You were happy. You didn’t frown once since you came here, you didn’t glare at the people who were walking slow, you were genuinely happy. All thanks to Bucky.
“Thank you for bringing me here” You thanked him for today, even those words weren’t enough for what he did, so along with that, you kissed him. You actually kissed him, you couldn’t believe it. Your hands were fell to his shoulders, needing to hold on to something because of your wobbly legs. His eyes were firmly shut when you pulled back thinking that you made the wrong move and you were about to apologise before he opened his eyes for a quick peck before he pulled you back to kiss you again. You could’ve stood there all day with his lips on yours, but you both pulled away from the penguin sounds. You looked to see at least 10 penguins looking at you at Bucky. You couldn’t help but laugh at the sight, Bucky joining along, also finding it funny.
He looked back at you, with a fond look in his eyes that made you want to look away but he cupped your face with both his hands to keep you from looking down.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that. I mean it, I know you have a hard time letting people in, I do too. But I hope this is one step closer for me to get to your heart. You may not believe me right now, but I love you. I love you beyond what you think you are and I’m gonna wait for you. I’ll wait for you until you could fully let me in. I’ll wait for you to love yourself, then me.” You had tears in your eyes from his confession, hating the fact you’ve been hurting him this entire time. This entire time, you could’ve been happy with him but you were upset with the world, you were upset with yourself. You hated that you dug yourself in a lonely hole when you could’ve seen the good in life, Bucky. Bucky was the ray of sunshine in your life, he showed you the good things, reminded you of your favourite things.
“I love you too. And I’m not just saying it because you did. I’m truly in love with you. I’m sorry that I couldn’t see it earlier and I’m sorry that made you wait so long-”
“Stop, you don’t have to apologise. I know what you were going through and I didn’t want to push you. I could’ve waited years for you, you should know that. And I’m so grateful that you’d ever want to be with me. I love you doll, and I’ll always love you.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck to hug him, while his hands looped around your waist, resting his chin on your head. The penguins however wanted to join in on the celebration when more of them were looking at you and Bucky, making noise for everyone around to hear. You both chuckled at them before agreeing that this was going to be your special, even with the noisy penguins. Bucky was already thinking this was the perfect place to propose, but that was for the future, with you by his side.
