1. Last song: Laplace's Angel (Hurt People? Hurt People!) by Will Wood! I was listening to this while thinking about a silly Light Yagami animatic I will never make. Laplace's Angel fits Light so SOOOO much.

2. Currently Watching: I'm watching a Minecraft series with my little sister! PiroPito first play through of Minecraft! He's playing Minecraft blind with no tutorials. It's very fun to watch someone discover Minecraft mechanics on their own!

3. Three Ships: I don't get what this means, is it asking for my favorite ships? That is a difficult question. I'll just list three Death Note rare pairs I think are cute. Matsulight, Beymane, and L x Aizawa

4. Favorite Color: I love everything saturated! Hmm hot pink, I guess?

5. Currently Consuming: I haven't eaten any proper food yet but the last thing I ate was glitter and paper...

6. First Ship: The first ship I remember shipping was Zeref x Mavis when I was like. 7?? I loved that ship so soo much lmao. But the first Death Note ship I shipped was yagamane lmao. I was around 8 when I first watched Death Note and 8 year old me thought they'd be cute. I rewatched Death Note because of a lawlight tumblr post tho.

I've been reading a lot of Warhammer 40k novels and short stories lately, mostly T'au and Necron stuff. I'm particularly enamoured with Trazyn and all the mischief he gets up to, and I love that he has a whole crew of necrons on Solemnace who are just as eccentric as he is. I've been doodling some characters and decided to draw up some proper pieces with inking and colouring too.

So, here's Arch-Cryptek Sannet (the forgetful chief curator who needs to write things down to recall them), and Huntmaster, game warden of Solemnace (a very cool deathmark who wears a void-cape and helps Trazyn collect specimens for study and preservation. I gave him a hood because it looks cool and he matches Trazyn now. :3)

Let the Necrons have a sitcom already, there's more than enough drama and comedy for it. I love petty old robots.

hey for all you freaks out there. you should read husk by corey redekop. its about a gay man who gets turned into a zombie and not to spoil anything but there is a pages long description of how he is tied up by a massive muscular man and basically teased for hours on end by the smell of his flesh after he does a bunch of sweaty exercises in front of him for. torture purposes.

#toasty talks #dr on the brain obviously #most of the complaints I see are that it contradicts the plot of the first games #but I honestly couldn’t fully grasp DR1 or 2 prior to having seen the anime. #personally I thought it tied things together well. I’m sure the contradictions are there and I just didn’t notice but #it clearly never broke my immersion or anything #plus!! you get to see the DR1 and 2 character being (mostly) alive and well in the end!! A++ #I’m planning on rewatching so I’m just thinkin abt it cuz like. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I don’t get the hate #if it’s just that it’s ‘bad’ then. It is only 9AM and today is already wretched.

Woke up at 5:50AM, exhausted. Stomach hurts. Tried for an hour to fall back asleep but couldn't. And of course, the mystery bone that appeared on the porch of the house is still there. The bone materialized two days ago. Probably a chicken bone. Neatly arranged on our porch railing. At least I hope it's a chicken bone. That's probably the least unsettling type of bone it could be.

My housemates say they didn't put it there and I believe them. We don't even eat chicken generally. Or... other things that could have produced a bone of those dimensions. So who else? Raccoons? The Planks*? A serial killer? (a chicken serial killer???)

The night before last the bone was moved from one side of the porch to the other. Still neatly placed. Roughly parallel to the wood grain.

The bone is attracting yellowjackets. I do not like yellowjackets. Well this is untrue- I like yellowjackets quite a lot actually. They're fun to learn about. They're important to the ecosystem. But I am wildly spheksophobic and I cannot leave the house while they are There. On the bone. On the porch. Right. By. The Door.

I am trapped and it is a problem. I am missing a math TA meeting. It's an optional TA meeting, but I feel bad because the professor is bringing food. Probably food I can't eat. My stomach hurts. But it's a nice thought and I feel impolite.

Maybe I should make an excuse. How should the email go? "dear professor I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the meeting there's a BUG on a BONE and I do not know how it got there. The bone, I mean. The bug presumably flew sincerely Svet PS the bug is a yellowjacket** that's why it can fly

PPS Did you know adult yellowjackets primarily consume plant sugars? It's actually the larvae that need the protein in meat. It's a sweet, that the yellowjacket is on the bone specifically in effort to feed its own. I hope it gets enough protein. Still scared of it though
