Just imagining Jester sighing dramatically and pressing her hand to her forehead like a dying widow out on the deck of the Nein Heroez because her dashing captain boyfriend is too busy elsewhere on the ship doing important things to give her attention and she is WILTING (not really, but she finds it fun to pretend so when she has nothing else to do), and Orly or Marius or someone else is like, "Can you do that up on the quarterdeck instead? You'll be less in the way and, besides, that's where the captain will be. Plus, the height means he's more likely to see you when he comes up."

She moves up there and it's to her liking bc the vantage points over the rails is a lot more dramatic. She's having too much fun being pointlessly theatrical about how she is like a lonely widow who lost her husband at sea every time Fjord leaves her line of sight.
