Can I request petty jealous charles? He’s just quietly stewing in his anguish. I think it’s be funny if someone that he looks up to, like a musician or something, was flirting with his gf and this really upsets him. And he acts petty for a few days
a/n: sorry for the delay babeeee :( but here it issss. also this features Bad bunny bc I saw the pics of him arriving in Monaco and idk got the inspo. also we're going to pretend the last music challenge takes place after Monaco.
titi we don't care l Charles Leclerc
All eyes were on Monaco, and with good reason.
Engines roaring, cameras flashing, boat traffic (if that's a thing), Hollywood making their way from Cannes to the Principality, spotting old money meters away, most of them trying to get a word with Charles.
It was fine in the beginning, this wasn't the first Monaco GP you attended, but after the first free practice ended and Charles was grabbed from right to left, the Ferrari hospitality grabbing most of the attention of wealthy people, whispering how F1 was less exclusive by the day, too popularized, lousy celebrities getting an invite and they’d probably be present for Indy 500 and Le Mans. Shameful.
The same people were examining you, eyeing the “simple” Trina Turk dress and Bimba & Lola bag, gifted by Isa on your birthday, hanging from your arm, all before Charles PR manager approached to tell you he, the home hero, wouldn't be available until practices were over, too many press and meetings in between.
Then, a man with a glass of wine sat down next to you, telling you it was fucked up they wouldn't let the drivers prepare for what they were supposed to do, which was driving. Esta bien cabrón, those were his exact words.
He introduced himself as Benito, of course you knew him as Bad Bunny, his songs being everywhere and wasn't he dating Kendall Jenner?
He kept you entertained, bad mouthing the snotty people surrounding, stopping the conversation to greet people who approached him. Isa joined soon after, also shaking her head at the fact Carlos and Charles would have to spend almost the entire day worrying about media instead of resting and discussing strategies with the team for Sunday.
Conversation was easy, barely noticing the hospitality getting a bit more crowded, louder. It was the WhatsApp group with your girlfriends that got your attention, attaching pictures and asking what was going on between you and Bad Bunny. What?
Of course, Twitter was full of you laughing at something he said or before he pointed something funny or imitated a rich person making conversation on how quiet luxury was a trend now and how it wasn't fair for them, fucking Succession.
Suddenly, someone grabbed your waist from behind, making you jump because the only person allowed to grab you like that was supposed to be around somewhere, being interviewed or filming content, but you were wrong, a big grin appearing at the sight of Charles, full white and red, overall hanging on his waist and white Ferrari cap, hair fluffy from the heat and running his fingers through it.
"Bebé, I thought you'd be busy all the day," You kissed his lips, subtly squeezing his waist through the suit.
Yes, he was supposed to be busy until the day was over and you could head back home, but in-between interviews Charles checked his phone to the dismay of every PR worker in Ferrari, but his Twitter was filled with mentions of pictures. First they were pictures of you alone in the hospitality, Charles smiled knowing you were probably bored but stayed so he wouldn't be alone, but...
user1: Not Bad Bunny shooting his shot at Leclerc's girl 💀
user2: BENITO GET AWAY she's ms leclerc!!!11!
user3: damn, Charles Leclerc getting screwed by Ferrari and his girlfriend
user4: (y/n)'s probably bored af, Isa got to Monaco a couple of minutes ago and she's talking with Benito, big deal leave her alone she's there for Charles.
A strange feeling brewed in his stomach, he instantly knew he was jealous. Did he have a good reason? No, he trusted you and the relationship with his life, but he was obviously and painfully aware people wanted you; your good nature, gorgeous features, bright smile, perfectly shaped boobs... yes, it didn't sound fair when he left a trails of broken hearts and loving eyes everywhere he went, people being interested in F1 just because of his looks, but that was purely platonic, they didn't dare to make a move, but your case was different, he had seen with his own eyes how men tried to make their move right in front of him, he even made sure you always wore the gold necklace with a charm engraved with CL16 was visible.
Carlos, being part of the drivers' gossip network, eyed Charles' screen, whistling in a worried manner, telling him to be careful or he'd be listening to Bad Bunny songs about (y/n) on the radio.
"You know, there's pictures of Isa as well, look," Charles pointed out, annoyed by the teasing, but Carlos playfully dismissed him. "Hey, sorry but I have to get to the hospitality, I'm very overwhelmed and I need to see my girlfriend," Charles half lied; he wanted to see you, but just to let the second most streamed artist on Spotify know you were very loved and appreciated, and completely off limits.
Which takes him to the Ferrari hospitality.
"They gave us a couple of minutes before it's time for the last meeting," Charles tensed when noticing people were staring at him. "Why don't you wait at our lounge, bebé? It’s less crowded, Isa is there, Lorenzo and mum should be getting there soon,” he said in a hushed tone, but loud enough for the other man to hear. You nodded, getting up and collecting the small Bimba & Lola bag with some of the multiple passes and everything hanging from it.
"Oh, bebé, sorry. This is Benito, he was keeping me entertained," It was a bizarre situation, honestly, presenting a world-known singer to your boyfriend like he was a friend.
Charles squeezed your waist a bit tighter, shaking hands with the native from Puerto Rico. They exchanged a couple of words before someone approached the singer, making it easier for you to leave.
Charles was holding your hand a bit tighter than usual, maybe he was being protecting knowing people were watching every move. you asked him how the car felt, but he didn't give a real answer, just making a sound of approval.
That attitude carried on during the entire weekend, you thought it was the pressure of being home, past mistakes and bad luck haunting him. it ended when he crossed the finish line in first place, kissing you with tears on his eyes, relishing on being the home hero.
But two days later, he still had moments where he held his head a little taller, short answers and pretending he didn't hear you.
Charles knew he was being ridiculous, his fists tightening when some radio played a Bad Bunny song, even when one of them was voluntarily added by himself on a playlist, he had to take a deep breath. Irrational and disgusting behavior if you ask Charles, but he couldn't stop it. Not even when he saw you trying to hide the purple marks appearing on your hips.
He noticed your side of the bed dipped and light turned off, his back facing you as he pretended to be asleep, ignoring your soft chuckles. he didn't even flinch when your arms wrapped around his waist, placing your leg over his and loudly kissing his cheek.
"You are so cute when you're jealous," you told him, leaving another loud kiss, this time on his back.
"I'm not jealous!" He lied with a high-pitched voice, still not facing you.
"I know you are, but it's okay, it comes with having a girlfriend as incredible as me, you know?" This time Charles laughed, turning around and now placing his arms around your waist as yours moved to his neck.
"Shut up, he was flirting with you!" Charles argued.
"He was not! He actually saved me from a lot of creeps asking my name and whether I was free to grab a glass of wine or whatever,"
Charles knew that was the truth, he had witnessed it and was common talk between the drivers how their girlfriends and sisters were often approached by older men with not so good intentions.
Knowing he had no way to defend himself, he rolled his eyes at your giggles when your lips met his, but admiring him when he rolled on top of you, running your thumb through his cheeks.

per my Disciples Nuka World post;
no, no. please get into it. i'm working on a deep-dive into why the disciples are "like that" and i would absolutely love to hear other peoples' thoughts on them.
Well okay! Ranting under the cut!
So, the Disciples. They're boring. At first I was intrigued by them. They do look cool, and Nisha is presented as a scary character, but... we aren't shown anything to back that up in the end. There's nothing else really there. They don't really have a theme beyond being the same average boring raiders Bethesda always gives us.
I like the Operators and the Pack because they show the reasons people might turn to being raiders in a world like the wasteland. They're still bad reasons, but most reasons to be a shit person that turns harming others into their livelihood aren't going to be very good.
Tumblr media
But we're looking at the writing of the gangs and how they justify themselves here, not whether those justifications are valid (they aren't) in any real or even fictional sense.
In the Operators case they are all about getting ahead in their endeavours. They're almost business-like, but they aren't afraid to openly take out their competition if they have to. They're the overlap between what makes a person a raider or a triggerman, with the savvy and viciousness of both, but willing to go to lengths that triggermen usually don't.
Their leadership came from the highest class society you can find in the Commonwealth: Diamond City's Upper Stands. I'd say that a lot of their members also seem to reflect this, either coming from similar lofty circumstances or wishing to climb that ladder and act the part. Systems like that inherently run on putting others below you - ruining lives either figuratively or literally. The Operators understand and embrace this. They lie, cheat, steal, blackmail, and will use sex and mind altering substances to make sure that they will get their way.
They aren't as interested in killing people so much as they are in controlling them in some way - they're the gang who is likely most favourable of slavery, as they're always looking for ways to use other people, and you can't really use a dead body for much.
They're also the gang mostly responsible for building the gauntlet. Their people are educated and skilled, value teamwork, and are cunning and intelligent, all in addition to whatever bloodlust they might have.
The Operators want control.
With the Pack their themeing is obviously being othered from society. Both the animal(furry) aspect and their cannibalism show this, with these themes being used in the usual way to symbolise a disconnect with the subject from the rest of humanity in some way.
They're people who's desires and/or view of themselves didn't fit in with the norm of society, even for the wasteland. Now of course, not everyone who fits into that would become a raider like the Pack, but this is about themes, and it's easy to fall into being the bad guy when society already treats you like one for aspects of yourself that you can't help and/or don't want to hide. Especially when you live in a place like the wasteland, where raiders are already common enough. The Pack exists to catch those who do decide to become the bad guys they're likely already viewed as, or see themselves as in some way due to the way they feel. To let them live a life with the freedoms that polite society doesn't allow.
(As a side note, I highly recommend Lola Sebastians video essay on youtube about the subject of cannibalism in media - it's just 2hrs long and very good.)
I also find it interesting that of the three groups, the Pack is the only one who has a single leader with no chain of command sitting under them. Both Mags and Nisha have a second hand, and then another person to rely on too further down the chain. The Pack only has Mason. It's clear that Mason is both brawn and brains, and none of the pack seem to defy him - at least not openly. I don't think that's an accident either. I think Mason and the Pack are running on a very 'law of the jungle' type system, where if somone were both strong and clever enough to take him out then that person would simply deserve to be leader in the eyes of Mason and the Pack. But it does bring into question what would happen if someone were to kill Mason without taking over the Pack - or taking the rest of them out like the game forces you to. It could have been interesting to see that power struggle. Oh well.
The Pack wants freedom.
So what do the Disciples want? As far as can be seen, they just want to hurt and kill people. To cut them up and make them bleed and string their bodies up as nasty, smelly decor. Just like every other bland raider we've already encountered in the Commonwealth.
They're only shown to be interested in killing. Not teamwork, not building skills, nor living by any law or code of their own besides the usual "raiders be raidering". They have no motivation or meaning. They're serial killers - just ignoring that serial killers rarely work in teams, let alone huge ones, and often still have their own motives for doing what they do. Especially in literary works. Simply saying something like "but people like that do exist in real life!" doesn't justify Bethesda's bad writing here either. This is still a story, and in 99% of stories your bad guys need a better justification than just "they're bad!" (The only time you don't is in like, a monster centric horror movie, where the monster just exists to tear the dumb victims apart for the quick amusement of the viewers. Even then, the narrative is boosted by having a monster with a reason for being the monster.)
Nisha herself is presented to us as an interesting character; she's the one who makes a warning comment to Gage upon the player being made the new overboss, which immediately puts her in a spotlight and position over the other two gang leaders by interacting with you in the story first.
We can also learn that she's the boss that Gage fears the most. But beyond her liking to cut people up, there's no real reason for her to be so scary - not in comparison to the others. A big point about Gage is that he hates to use chems or alcohol because he dislikes not being in control of himself, which would open himself up for being killed or harmed in some way. Logically this should make The Operators his biggest concern. But instead it's Nisha. The defence for this is that Nisha is meant to be very clever. We're told this. But we aren't shown it very well, if at all.
She's meant to come off smart through our conversation with her, I guess. Because talking in a sneaky manner makes a person clever to Bethesda. We also learn that despite the truce that is meant to be in place between the three gangs she still lets her people kill members of the other gangs, just so long as they don't get caught. But... they do. We can find mutliple instances of Disciples doing sloppy jobs hiding their crimes. It's not a secret they're doing it. This makes Nisha look bad, because she clearly doesn't have as much of a lid of things as she would like to claim.
It also ignores that the Operators already have 'intelligent and sneaky' covered in their own themeing. By giving these traits to Nisha too Bethesda is simply doubling up on them but without the justification to back them up for Nisha and the Disciples. It comes off like Bethesda went "Smart guys (Operators), Animalistic guys (Pack), and... uh... let's just do regular raiders but also try to make them smart too?" And it didn't work.
Hell, you can't even argue that they're at least still better than the Commonwealth gangs, because I am far more interested in the lore behind The Forged and Judges Jury than the Disciples. And that's mostly just from notes and terminal entries! They at least have reason! Culture! In the end the effort that went into the Disciples is about the same as some of the more mid Commonwealth gangs.
There could be some arguement with the fact that the Disciples are largely made up of female NPCs over males, with enough male NPCs to count on one hand, but again there's nothing actually done with that. It could have been really interesting if it was! But it wasn't! It's just a random thing you can note yourself by running around their base. It's not actually brought up at all.
Ultimately I think a lot of the Disciples and the Nuka World DLC being "like that" in general is because there were probably plans to do much more with them but Bethesda rushed it out to get it done, meaning a lot that likely had been planned got cut, leaving us with nothing but glances beyond an ultimately disappointing experience. Like they do with everything.
Maybe in another version of the DLC Nisha and the Disciples had more of a role to play which would have fleshed them out more in opposition to the other gangs, but that's not the reality we got. We got nothing.
So. Yeah. That's why the Disciples are my least favourite of the Nuka World gangs. I'd love to see your deep-dive when you get to it. Feel free to tag me!

The choir go to a convention
What are the cosplays and what do they do there?
Ricky convinced the rest of the choir to go to the convention u can't convince me he didn't, he also convinced them to cosplay
Ricky is absolutely going as the Goblin King from Labyrinth bc you can't tell me he loved that film, his outfit in the slime tut sabm screamed Bowie. He's easily got the best costume he's been preparing that costume for ages.
Noel had to be convinced to go in drag because he was nervous initially but they eventually got him to dress up. He finally dresses up as Lola, and kills the look, even making it look like he's in black and white. No one really knows who he is there but he's happy and that's what matters.
Mischa had no ideas for his cosplay. They spend a day at Ricky's going over ideas for him because Ricky insists they all dress up and he doesn't want Mischa to be left out. Eventually they settle on batman, which works out really well. Mischa elects himself as choir protector on the con trip and it turns out having an over 6ft scowling Ukrainian bad boy dressed as one of if not the most well known vigilante in media keeps creeps and potential bullies away really well.
Constance gets very excited to dress up, she convinces Ocean to do a group costume with her. They go as Wirt and Greg from Over the Garden Wall, with Ocean going as Wirt because everyone in the choir who watched that show pointed at Wirt and went "it's u", Constance went as Greg to match and also because she really likes his optimism. (She had got these costumes ages ago, her baby brother had a little frog costume to match her).
Penny is going as Wednesday Addams, a role suggested by Ricky like he did Mischa. She spends the entire time vanishing into the crowd and popping up behind the choir, she unintentionally scares quite a few other guests.
They stick together as well as they can do in a con and they have to take a lot of breaks because it is HOT in there and very crowded with stresses Penny out and is not good for Ricky's mobility issue. But despite that they have a great time!
Noel loves seeing all the costumes! Ricky spends a lot of time pointing out and listing ones he knows. The two spend a lot of time talking with others about making their costumes.
Ocean and Constance love seeing all the art stalls! They nearly spend so much money buying cute little things like pins and stickers.
Like Ocean and Constance, Mischa and Penny spend a lot of time near the stalls, except they buy goofy things, and gifts for the other choir members. They both nearly spend an obscene amount of money on a replica of the Jigsaw puppet from Saw. They talked each other out of it.
Eventually they get hungry but they are NOT paying that much for subpar food from the stands around the con so Constance gets everyone in her minivan and thats how the nearest McDonalds once had The Goblin King, Batman, Wirt, Wednesday Addams, a black and white Lola, all being driven by Greg from OTGW turn up in various states of dishevelment at like 10pm, and pick up an insane amount of food.
Then they all went back to Mischa's basement to compare photos and buys.

Don't get me wrong but I'm genuinely confused why Jimin is mot doing any activities like other members. All the members are preparing for solo album and doing other works. But Jimin is only working on his album and nothing else. If we look their solo activities since announcement.
JK - he doesn't do many activities but things he does is pretty large scale. L&R MV + making + recording. Most charted somg by k soloist on BB. Performed on fifa stage - first Korean to perform on a WC, #2 debut and many locals fell for him lol.
RM - attended a museum activity, sexy nukim, WKorea with hobi, performed with balking tiger, podcast + interview, Pharrell interview + photoshoot, now host for a show.
Hobi - listening party something no members did ever lol, Lola + BTB + interviews, radio talk shows, crush collab, IU's pallet, crush interview, Zico interview.
Jin - Multiple movie premiers, Chef baek episodes, yesterday's liquor show, running man, CP concert performance, Youngji interview, interview with an old man idk his name, GQ top 10 things
Tae - ITS with wooga squad, movie premieres, Celine event, Vogue shoot, Paris schedule 2, dj radio show.
Suga - That That+ performance with Psy+ BTB, NCB event, dropping dropdead pics of insta which is definitely some photoshoots for a collab going behind scenes lol.
* Didn't included ost of vocal line because it was while they were performing and active as a group and didn't had any behind scenes.
Jimin - literally nothing and I wonder why. Is he not intereste in other activities apart from performing ? And not comfortable on appearing for those event. He's working for his album with various producers but that's it and rest members are doing the same, we saw how many collabs RM has on Indigo. Apart from all of these he's not active on sm too. Not even posting a single pic or message. I just miss him so much and not even getting to see him even as part of work.
Hello Confused Anon...
I can see why you are “genuinely” confused Anon. You seem to have Jimin mixed up with some other person you think is Jimin...
Especially since you proceeded to compare him to every other member in the group as if lauding their accomplishments like it’s some sort of competition between the members... what’s the point of that? why does your mind even go there?
You sort of answered yourself right away in your third sentence:
"But Jimin is only working on his album and nothing else."
But in case you really are “genuinely” confused... I wonder how you got so mixed up about who Jimin is? Maybe you do not pay enough attention to Jimin... here let me help you figure it out:
Jimin has said repeatedly that he is working hard on his album. Over the last five or six months we’ve seen the pictures from so many award-winning producers and musicians who are excited to share that they are working with Jimin.
Tumblr media
I am assuming Jimin’s involvement is very time consuming and leaves very little time to travel across the globe to see fashion shows and such. He is probably feeling a little time crunch with that thing called military service looming and we know Jimin is a perfectionist... well, the rest of us do but you probably are not aware Anon because you were confusing Jimin with someone else.... anyway... Jimin being the perfectionist is cooking up some great music for us and is laser focused and has chosen not to do any one-off collabs. Any collaborations he’s done he is keeping under wraps until he is ready to release his album. Why hold that against him?
I understand you "miss" him but he’s not been totally absent... he’s had some time to get out and about...
During June/July/August 2022:
Jimin went to watch a few soccer matches with Hobi and with Sung Woon. He also went to see his friend Sung Woon’s performance in a stage musical one evening.
One thing Jimin is not: an attention seeker. Crowds are not his thing. He tried to keep it lowkey but alas, people can’t help themselves and take pics and post them on social media. People have no chill when it comes to that. Red carpets are work for him. He obviously chooses not to do them. No red carpets mean no premiers.
Jimin made a side-trip to Chicago for Lollapalooza to support his Hobi-hyung. While there he also took in other Lolla acts including TXT. Maybe you missed that too. He's living the life, Anon.
Tumblr media
On to Los Angeles for his work and while there he hung out with Benny Blanco amongst others. Perhaps they even worked together again? We’ll find out eventually!
He also went to the beach at sunset again while in L.A. Jimin loves him some U.S. west coast beach at sunset (I wonder why).
Tumblr media
On September 1 Jimin was with Jungkook on JK’s birthday. Remember JK's little smirk and giggle on HIS WeLive when Jin asked him if Jimin visited him that day and JK said yes, he did. They probably reminisced about that west coast beach sunset...I KNOW you couldn’t have missed the pic Jimin posted... but maybe you did.
Tumblr media
Then Jimin did a few WeLives for us, I think three of them, spread out between then and his birthday on Oct. 13. So he's made himself visible when he's in the right frame of mind.
One thing that has become obvious... Jimin requires structure in his life. He flat out said going to work every day was something he needs to do... “it feels like clocking out, not clocking in” when he gets to work. It lines up with his near obsession about his workout regimen. During the pandemic he tearfully told us he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to be doing all that time. The man needs a schedule to function.
Another thing that’s quite obvious. Jimin is not gonna share anything he doesn’t want to. Except that he loves to eat but is constantly trying to maintain his weight/physique. And also he just lays around the house. Oh and also there are five moon tattoos running down his back now... see’em when you can he says... that boy...
Yes, he’s an idol and he’s stated he is not a solo artist, he is part of a group. So this period is a real growing time for Jimin. Out of all the members, I believe Jimin will show us some things that even HE had no idea he could do. I am waiting patiently for him to be ready to show us.
So I hope that made things less confusing for you, Anon. Any “outside” work that has nothing to do with is album is probably non-existent because that is what Jimin has chosen for himself. If you are still “genuinely” confused about that then I will just chalk it up to you choosing to be a “genuine” douchebag of a person and I hope you eventually grow out of that mindset.
But hopefully you meant to be nice.

Miku’s Thoughts on Saitama Division
Tumblr media
Sayaka Miyuki
“Other than what the Queen’s told me, there’s not much I can say about her. She’s supposed to be a forensic scientist? I think she’s worked with Queen Card here and there. And she’s a mom, too. I was told she’s sweet, somewhat ditzy and airheaded. Huh… I mean. I guess she looks like a good person, overall.”
So what is this…?
Fluttering about around Sayaka’s body were a roost of faint butterflies of varying breeds and colors of carnation pink, peachy orange, and aquamarine.
Resting around Sayaka’s heart were a roost of deep lilac butterflies. Almost as if those faint butterflies found comfort with Sayaka’s heart.
It’s really never fair…
That someone so sweet can be the ones going through the worst time… they can bottle up so much…
Lola Takahashi
“Ah… I think we might’ve done some ads together… I think? I didn’t recognize her face, but her name’s familiar. I don’t remember what she was like, but I hope she’s doing well now.”
Surrounding her body were sparse clusters of bright lights, like a mass of firefly lights. Shining the most brightly were the tangerine and yellow-orange lights that floated the furthest away from her body.
Circling closely around her heart were lights so incredibly faint in color that they were almost missed.
She’s so monochromatic… so cheerful and ambitious, what the hell…?
So then…
What’s this burnt-to-a-crisp orangey color around her? So close to her heart, too…
She closed her eyes tightly and then opened them again.
The same pattern of colors remained around Lola.
Kureha Koizumi
“I don’t really know her? Except for what Queen Card’s told me. I dunno, maybe I’ve stumbled across her artwork on social media… but I don’t recall anything.
Running in circles around Kureha’s body were a band of kittens made up of paint splotches.
She turned her head to observe the sky blue, and lilac kittens that lazily walked in circles or ran about hysterically around Kureha. She didn’t miss the dark yellow and wine purple kittens that gently pawed at Kureha’s arm.
Poor girl… just how bad were things for you to end up appearing this color…? I hope things resolve itself soon.
Just not in this DRB.
Femme Fatale
“So far, this might be the most… I dunno, normal? I don’t even know if that’s the word. But the most normal group I’ve seen so far. I really think we all could get along… Hopefully once things are all said and done, there’s no hard feelings.”
Because R.I.P Märchen can’t afford to lose this… it’s for the best…

I also think it could be due to them being friends with A’s gf and or A so they all follow A’s gf. The people who J interacts with on the national team and others who are her ex Barca teammates like AMC don’t follow A’s gf. And appear to be loyal to J. And I actually like them for that. Also it seems LG and A have always been closer than LG and J.
when Jenni returned from Mexico last November when the Apertura ended she was in Madrid having dinner with Leila and her girlfriend, Patri and Pina. From then on there were no more interactions between them, not even on social media. I also thought it was for that reason but they were already following her (Pina wasn't). And Vir, I don't know, has completely detached herself from her. That group no longer exists. And Lola has always been closer to Jenni than Alexia

hhi how is it like beign a vogaloid?
Vocaloid (ボーカロイド, Bōkaroido) is a singing voice synthesizer software product. Its signal processing part was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, in 2000 and was not originally intended to be a full commercial project.[1] Backed by the Yamaha Corporation, it developed the software into the commercial product "Vocaloid" that was released in 2004.[2][3]
The software enables users to synthesize "singing" by typing in lyrics and melody and also "speech" by typing in the script of the required words. It uses synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note. The software can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice.
Various voice banks have been released for use with the Vocaloid synthesizer technology.[4] Each is sold as "a singer in a box" designed to act as a replacement for an actual singer.[1] As such, they are released under a moe anthropomorphism. These avatars are also referred to as Vocaloids, and are often marketed as virtual idols; some have gone on to perform at live concerts as an on-stage projection.[5]
The software was originally only available in English starting with the first Vocaloids Leon, Lola and Miriam by Zero-G, and Japanese with Meiko and Kaito made by Yamaha and sold by Crypton Future Media. Vocaloid 3 has added support for Spanish for the Vocaloids Bruno, Clara and Maika; Chinese for Luo Tianyi, Yuezheng Ling, Xin Hua and Yanhe; and Korean for SeeU.
The software is intended for professional musicians as well as casual computer music users.[6] Japanese musical groups such as Livetune of Toy's Factory and Supercell of Sony Music Entertainment Japan have released their songs featuring Vocaloid as vocals. Japanese record label Exit Tunes of Quake Inc. also have released compilation albums featuring Vocaloids.[7][8]
Technology
Voice model developed before the Vocaloid, Excitation plus Resonances (EpR) model,[9] is a combination of:
Spectral Modeling Synthesis (SMS)
Source-Filter model
The model was developed in 2001 as a source-filter model for voice synthesis,[10] but was only implemented on top of the concatenative synthesis model in the final product[citation needed] as a method of avoiding spectral shape discontinuities at the segment boundaries of concatenation.[11]
(based on Fig.1 on Bonada et al. 2001)
Vocaloid's singing synthesis [ja] technology is generally categorized into the concatenative synthesis[12][13] in the frequency domain, which splices and processes the vocal fragments extracted from human singing voices, in the forms of time-frequency representation. The Vocaloid system can produce the realistic voices by adding vocal expressions like the vibrato on the score information.[14] Initially, Vocaloid's synthesis technology was called "Frequency-domain Singing Articulation Splicing and Shaping" (周波数ドメイン歌唱アーティキュレーション接続法, Shūhasū-domain Kashō Articulation Setsuzoku-hō) on the release of Vocaloid in 2004,[15] although this name is no longer used since the release of Vocaloid 2 in 2007.[16] "Singing Articulation" is explained as "vocal expressions" such as vibrato and vocal fragments necessary for singing. The Vocaloid and Vocaloid 2 synthesis engines are designed for singing, not reading text aloud,[17] though software such as Vocaloid-flex and Voiceroid have been developed for that. They cannot naturally replicate singing expressions like hoarse voices or shouts.[18]
System architecture
Vocaloid system diagram
(based on Fig.1 on Kenmochi, Ohshima & , Interspeech 2007)
The main parts of the Vocaloid 2 system are the Score Editor (Vocaloid 2 Editor), the Singer Library, and the Synthesis Engine. The Synthesis Engine receives score information from the Score Editor, selects appropriate samples from the Singer Library, and concatenates them to output synthesized voices.[3] There is basically no difference in the Score Editor and the Synthesis Engine provided by Yamaha among different Vocaloid 2 products. If a Vocaloid 2 product is already installed, the user can enable another Vocaloid 2 product by adding its library. The system supports three languages, Japanese, Korean, and English, although other languages may be optional in the future.[2] It works standalone (playback and export to WAV) and as a ReWire application or a Virtual Studio Technology instrument (VSTi) accessible from a digital audio workstation (DAW).
Score Editor
Score Editor (example)
0:29
Song example: "Sakura Sakura"
The Score Editor is a piano roll style editor to input notes, lyrics, and some expressions. When entering lyrics, the editor automatically converts them into Vocaloid phonetic symbols using the built-in pronunciation dictionary.[3] The user can directly edit the phonetic symbols of unregistered words.[13] The Score Editor offers various parameters to add expressions to singing voices. The user is supposed to optimize these parameters that best fit the synthesized tune when creating voices.[12] This editor supports ReWire and can be synchronized with DAW. Real-time "playback" of songs with predefined lyrics using a MIDI keyboard is also supported.[3]
Singer Library
Each Vocaloid license develops the Singer Library, or a database of vocal fragments sampled from real people. The database must have all possible combinations of phonemes of the target language, including diphones (a chain of two different phonemes) and sustained vowels, as well as polyphones with more than two phonemes if necessary.[3] For example, the voice corresponding to the word "sing" ([sIN]) can be synthesized by concatenating the sequence of diphones "#-s, s-I, I-N, N-#" (# indicating a voiceless phoneme) with the sustained vowel ī.[17] The Vocaloid system changes the pitch of these fragments so that it fits the melody. In order to get more natural sounds, three or four different pitch ranges are required to be stored into the library.[19][20] Japanese requires 500 diphones per pitch, whereas English requires 2,500.[17] Japanese has fewer diphones because it has fewer phonemes and most syllabic sounds are open syllables ending in a vowel. In Japanese, there are basically three patterns of diphones containing a consonant: voiceless-consonant, vowel-consonant, and consonant-vowel. On the other hand, English has many closed syllables ending in a consonant, and consonant-consonant and consonant-voiceless diphones as well. Thus, more diphones need to be recorded into an English library than into a Japanese one. Due to this linguistic difference, a Japanese library is not suitable for singing in eloquent English.[citation needed]
Synthesis Engine
Vocaloid Synthesis Engine[21]
The Synthesis Engine receives score information contained in dedicated MIDI messages called Vocaloid MIDI sent by the Score Editor, adjusts pitch and timbre of the selected samples in frequency domain, and splices them to synthesize singing voices.[3] When Vocaloid runs as VSTi accessible from DAW, the bundled VST plug-in bypasses the Score Editor and directly sends these messages to the Synthesis Engine.[13] Pitch conversion Since the samples are recorded in different pitches, pitch conversion is required when concatenating the samples.[3] The engine calculates a desired pitch from the notes, attack time, and vibrato parameters, and then selects the necessary samples from the library.[13] Timing adjustment In singing voices, the consonant onset of a syllable is uttered before the vowel onset is uttered. The starting position of a note ("Note-On") must be the same as that of the vowel onset, not the start of the syllable. Vocaloid keeps the "synthesized score" in memory to adjust sample timing so that the vowel onset should be strictly on the "Note-On" position.[13] No timing adjustment would result in delay. Sample Concatenation
Spectral envelope interpolation between samples
Spectral Peak Processing (SPP) for timbre manipulation (based on Fig.3 on Bonada & Loscos 2003) When concatenating the processed samples, discontinuities are reduced by spreading the phase between samples via phase correction and estimating spectral shape using a source-filter model called the Excitation plus Resonances (EpR) model.[3] Timbre manipulation The engine smooths the timbre around the junction of the samples. The timbre of a sustained vowel is generated by interpolating spectral envelopes of the surrounding samples. For example, when concatenating a sequence of diphones "s-e, e, e-t" of the English word "set", the spectral envelope of a sustained ē at each frame is generated by interpolating ē in the end of "s-e" and ē in the beginning of "e-t".[3] Transforms After pitch conversion and timbre manipulation, the engine does transforms such as Inverse Fast Fourier transform (IFFT) to output synthesized voices.[3]

Yamaha started development of Vocaloid in March 2000[17] and announced it for the first time at the German fair Musikmesse on March 5–9, 2003.[22] It was created under the name "Daisy", in reference to the song "Daisy Bell", but for copyright reasons this name was dropped in favor of "Vocaloid".[23]
Vocaloid 2
Main article: Vocaloid 2
Vocaloid 2 was announced in 2007. Unlike the first engine, Vocaloid 2 based its results on vocal samples, rather than analysis of the human voice.[24] The synthesis engine and the user interface were completely revamped, with Japanese Vocaloids possessing a Japanese interface.[12]
Vocaloid 3
Main article: Vocaloid 3
Vocaloid 3 launched on October 21, 2011, along with several products in Japanese, the first of its kind. Several studios updated their Vocaloid 2 products for use with the new engine with improved voice samples.[25]
Vocaloid 4
Main article: Vocaloid 4
In October 2014, the first product confirmed for the Vocaloid 4 engine was the English vocal Ruby, whose release was delayed so she could be released on the newer engine. In 2015, several V4 versions of Vocaloids were released.[26] The Vocaloid 5 engine was then announced soon afterwards.
Vocaloid 5
Main article: Vocaloid 5
Vocaloid 5 was released on July 12, 2018,[27] with an overhauled user interface and substantial engine improvements. The product is only available as a bundle; the standard version includes four voices and the premium version includes eight.[28] This is the first time since Vocaloid 2 that a Vocaloid engine has been sold with vocals, as they were previously sold separately starting with Vocaloid 3.
Vocaloid 6
Vocaloid 6 was released on October 13, 2022, with support for previous voices from Vocaloid 3 and later, and a new line of Vocaloid voices on their own engine within Vocaloid 6 known as Vocaloid:AI. The product is only sold as a bundle, and the standard version includes the 4 voices included with Vocaloid 5, as well as 4 new voices from the Vocaloid:AI line. Vocaloid 6's AI voicebanks support English and Japanese by default, though Yamaha announced they intended to add support for Chinese. Vocaloid 6 also includes a feature where a user can import audio of themselves singing and have Vocaloid:AI recreate that audio with one of its vocals.[29]

The Murder of Lola Daviet
Tumblr media
Lola Daviet was a 12-year-old middle school student living in Paris, France, she was a national champion at aerobics.
On 14th October 2022, Johan Daviet reported his daughter, Lola’s, disappearance to the police when she failed to arrive home after school. CCTV captured Lola entering her apartment building at 15.20 before following a woman who was later identified as 24-year-old Dahbia Benkired. Benkired was later seen leaving the building at around 5pm struggling with ‘heavy luggage.’
At 23.30, Lola’s body was found in a plastic box, her body had been mutilated, gagged and tied up. The cause of death was cardio-respiratory failure and the body showed signs of asphyxia and cervical compression. Disturbing rumours about Lola being disembowelled and that there were attempts to sell the body circulated in French media, it was also reported that numbers ‘0′ and ‘1′ were put on Lola’s feet at that Lola’s murderer may have planned to sell her organs to organ traffickers.
Benkired confessed to waiting for Lola to come home before luring the young girl to her sister’s apartment. Benkired then ordered Lola to shower and forced the schoolgirl to perform a sex act on her. Benkired then put tape over Lola’s mouth and stabbed her to death, slashing her throat and choking her. It is thought Lola was subjected to an attack so brutal the full details are unlikely to be released.
Dehbia Benkired, who was deemed mentally fit and had no previous criminal convictions, was indicated on charges of murder, torture and rape. Her psychological stability has since been questioned. During her interrogation, Benkired showed no remorse or empathy towards Lola and fluctuated between confessing and denying the crime, when shown pictures of Lola’s body she stated, ‘That doesn’t make me hot, or cold. I was raped too.’ She also claimed her motive was dispute with Lola’s mother who had not given her a hall pass for the building. Three men were also arrested for crimes connected to the case including a 43-year-old male who admitted to helping Benkired leave Paris and stay at his home.
Benkired was found to have overstayed her visa and failed to comply with a notice to leave France issued in August, due to this the case gained a lot of attention from anti-immigration and far right political groups in France. Lola’s family have issued a statement saying people should "immediately stop using the name and image of our child for political ends."

Vocaloid Headcanons II:
Tumblr media
Vocaloid is a musical arts company located in Tokyo, Japan (and in other parts of the world such as England, China, Korea and Spain) founded by Yamaha Corporation and "The Music Technology Group" of Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain. Both executive business would also have the collaboration with nothing more and nothing less with Leon, who along with his wife, Lola and a friend of they, Miriam were willing to present themselves as the first singers sponsoring one of the many companies (Zero-G) within Vocaloid and that in the future others lower-ranking companies would join, these being also applied to the music industry (Crypton Future Media, Internet Co. Ltd, AH Software, PowerFx, Voctrolabs, Shingai HENIAN, etc) which are the ones in charge of collecting the exact amount own Loids in each one of them (just as it was explained with Leon, Lola and Miriam previously).
Initially, it was planned that Vocaloid would integrate only mature people, since it would originally be aimed at an adult audience. But as time went on (precisely during Vocaloid2) in which most of its new singers were young adults, teenagers, pre-teens and children, which in itself ended up attracting a more youthful audience. They had to build, modify and maintain new buildings, which are primary/middle/high schools for said young Loids, they may have focused on the mission that they have a promising future with their famous lives as singers, but it was no excuse to distance them along the path of learning that every normal person should have in their full growth.
Apart from the schools, they had to buy land in the fields that surrounded the area, so that houses could be built there (in the style of a university campus) for the Vocaloids of each company, especially for those who were not so well known in their time for being foreigners from Japan. This is due to the fact that the companies located in the aforementioned countries were small or did not have sufficient requirements for large works, that they had no other option than most of their productions, works, songs and practice for the concerts were made from the company main city in Japan. The only one that became bigger being the Vocaloid building and studio located in England with Zero-G and PowerFx's Loids.
And the rest of their story is simple, they hire professional producers/composers who are responsible for creating the Vocaloid songs and sagas that many of us know, they are close to famous celebrities to advertise their singers. While the rest, such as Miku Expo concerts, Nico Nico Douga, Magical Mirai and others, merchandise, events, etc; they were jobs that the companies take care of....however there is something that the main companies that founded Vocaloid (Yamaha Co. and TMTG) hid from the public, even from the other companies within Vocaloid like their own Loids and even now it will never get revealed to date....
.
.
.
.
.
.
And this has been my brief explanation of Vocaloid (general) in my Headcanons!
Don't worry, many parts will come, are you intrigued to know that secret that Yamaha and TMTG hide from the Vocaloids? 👀 Maybe I'll reveal it soon if you guys would like to know more about my Vocaloid HC's!
Thank you very much for reading my blog of my VocalSynths Universe!

I think King really doesn’t want to be on Gwen’s SM and must have particularly discussed it with her. She deleted the pic of him and Blake at Easter and you could barely recognize him on the tractor in the family farming video while everyone else was featured in a collage and in the video of Blake’s ceremony she posted she included Z&A with Blake but not King. Lola must have told Gwen she doesn’t mind her posting pics of her however since she’s done it multiple times and I’m sure Gwen asked first. And Zuma and Apollo must not mind either. I’m glad that his feelings didn’t keep him from posing with the family for a group shot though. The family pics of B& G with all 3 boys were my favorite of the day! So sweet! I wonder if there’s one of just Blake with the boys?
He was in some of the photos Gwen posted today with Patti, but it does seem like he doesn’t want to be on Gwen’s social media all the time. I understand. There’s a lot of scorn these days for “nepo babies” using their parents’ celebrity status for attention, so he’s probably a little sensitive about that. Plus, now that he’s older, some of the lower level tabloids see him as fair game and have been writing articles about him.

tidbits regarding inari's idol verse;
she's apart of an all girl band that's made up of eight total members. three of them come and go and aren't considered full members but rather just hang arounds for the most part that sometimes feature in songs as backup vocals, etc. those members take up acting gigs for the most part.
inari is the primary songwriter for the group and is responsible for getting albums sorted out in regards to what is actually published and what isn't - she's not a vocalist, however.
inari plays bass in the band, specifically, slap bass. she's been playing since she was ten and has only given blood, sweat and tears to get to where she is today. the scars on her hands prove it.
her mother and father were too consumed in their work and own lives to really pay much attention to inari growing up, so in order to cope, she took up song writing and learning bass through middle and high school.
star magnolia is made up of nothing but childhood friends that grew up and went to school together, all of which ended up with a passion for music and a desire to entertain. the members are as follows; inari for bassist, lola for vocalist, lucille for drums, celeste for lead guitarist & maya for rhythm guitarist. the other three members come and go.
inari is heavily addicted to caffeine and nicotine - she smokes about a pack a day & constantly has a soda of some sort on hand. don't give her an energy drink though, especially not a red bull. she hates them.
more often than not, she wears a black mask over her mouth and nose on stage because she gets nervous in the spotlight but she finds joy in performing with her band, no matter.
her manager is known for owing a large sum of money to a certain group of folks [ in affiliation with @truehead, ] meaning that the group is sometimes in a bit of hot water regarding media but this doesn't seem to bother the girls at all. though they refuse to talk about it publicly and will only change the subject when it is mentioned in interviews or outright ignore paparazzi.

Luis's Thoughts on Kobe Division
Tumblr media
Ren Nakashima
"Ren Nakashima... oh, you mean 'Vox'. Yeah, I know him. Besides listening to a few of his songs, he actually comes here to Aoyama to my restaurant on a daily basis. He doesn't order anything fancy or specific. He always orders my restaurant's curry and a side dish to go with it. I don't really know how my curry is any different from anyone else's, but if he likes it, I'm not going to complain."
"Truthfully, Vox is a good musician. His songs are easy to listen to on calm days, though they can get overplayed a bit like Karada mentioned. Still, I do enjoy them. I don't know much about him, personally. Despite how he acts on stage, he's pretty chill and laid-back once you get to know him. I've heard rumors, though, that he can get... possessive with things he likes. I hope they aren't true. Or if they are, they aren't as bad as people make them out to be."
Max Soukoku
"...My teammates played it off, but... there is something very disturbing and dark about this kid. I don't know what it is, but... like Karada mentioned, his eyes make him seem cold and empty inside. I don't know what is, but... it's obvious that this kid has had a hard life, and has undoubtedly spilled blood before. What's more, I don't know if it's true, but there are rumors surrounding him that revolves around a group called "The Commission"."
"Growing up in a family that regularly employed assassins, it was impossible to not hear about them. But even my family knew better than to do something that involved those group of killers. ...If this kid is actually involved with them then..." Luis closes his eyes and makes a sign of the Cross with his hands.
"...Que la gracia y la misericordia de Dios llueven sobre todos y cada uno de nosotros."
("May God's grace and mercy rain down upon each and every one of us.")
Kaiji Sano
Luis looks at the boy of the crossdresser and groans, placing a hand over his face. "Oh boy. It's impossible to not know about this guy. Besides the fact, that his mother is well-acquainted with my own, like Tomi, I know each of his brothers. I know his oldest brother, Henri, cause his fiancee actually works at my restaurant. ...Or she did up until she quit, for some reason. I don't know Izana well, but he's good to speak to. Mikiya is my worst nightmare come to life: Tomi and Karada put together." Luis bristles at the thought.
"I don't know Claude well, but I don't think either of us mind or care since we don't like talking and were dragged to parties against our will. And Nagisa... the less I have to think or speak about that future violador, the better." Luis looks at the Sano family and shakes his head.
"And I thought my family had issues. But anyway, Kaiji... I don't know much about him other than the fact that some of my employees are fans of his on social media. Me, I don't see the big deal about him. I mean, no offense or anything, but what's so impressive about dressing up as the opposite sex? You can find people doing that a lot nowadays."
"Besides that, Karada has an obvious grudge against the guy. Why? Mainly cause Kaiji is able to spend more time with Lola over in Saitama than he is, mainly cause they work in the same profession. He's been asking me for help on how he can get Lola to notice him. I didn't know what to say. Do I look like a guru on love?" Luis stares at the screen as he asks the question.
Lovesick
"So, a rock star, an assassin, and a... what are they called... oh yeah, an Otokonoko, or a 'male girl' if you want to be descriptive. Kinda makes for an odd team, don't you think? I mean, I know there are stranger out there, but I think these guys are, at least, in the top 10. Still, despite how strange they may seem, we shouldn't underestimate them." Luis takes a gander at Max's photo again. "Especially this kid. If he's actually affiliated with "The Commission", then we're in a world of shit."
