[~*~]
Watching that movie was a mistake.
Except for the part where Teruki got bored with the plot holes - which, together with the roterist's lazy shortcuts to get all the movie's conflicts resolved in less than ten minutes, ignoring completely that they still had 45 minutes left of story to tell, created the perfect setting to enjoy some procrastinating time with a good company - and decided he absolutely needed to stretch himself across Shigeo's lap, looking at him with the corner of his eye to see if he perceived any kind of discomfort with him by the other.
Shigeo's attentive and neutral eyes turned down to watch him back. "Do you want to watch something else?"
The lack of anything but mild curiosity that painted his tune made Teru relax, slightly adjusting himself to be more comfortable and smiling nonchalantly while focusing again at the screaming protagonist on the screen. "Nah. It's fine."
"Ok."
It was calm, the silence that bathed them. Teru felt more than saw the other's hand hovering above his head. Although he didn't allow himself to externally react to it.
"Teruki." He hummed in reply, laziness already beginning to fog his brain and trying to coach him to sleep. He kind of wanted to finish watching the movie with Shigeo, though. "Can I touch your hair?"
"Uh, sure. Go for it."
So, watching that movie was a mistake. Not because it was bad or poorly made. Not because Mob's careful but still very present touch combing his hair made him feel so relaxed and boneless he was afraid he would slip from the couch at any moment. Not even because he realized how... soft this moment was, how soft Shigeo was, even when their first contact, when Teru's first contact with him was much more aggressive and unkind than what he was being shown now.
No, none of these were the reason for the incorrigible mistake that was made that day.
Actually, the moment Teruki realized that something was happening it was already too late to intervene.
Because the scene was already playing on the screen.
Not any scene.
A tickle scene.
And Teru made the mistake of looking up at Shigeo at this exact moment.
His friend was still concentrating on the movie, hand still playing with his hair and... the corner of his mouth was turned upwards. He was smiling.
That was when Teru realized two things:
1. He has never seen Mob laugh or giggle.
2. He really, really needed to be the reason of his smile.
The question slipped before he could think too much about it.
“Are you ticklish, Mob?”
Maybe it was because of his way-too-casual tune, or because the calm moment made Shigeo lower his barriers, but the answer jumped from the tip of Mob’s tongue before he even realized it.
“Yes.”
The blonde could easily notice how, even before the word was completely out, Shigeo realized the trap he was walking into, turning to look at him with alarmed eyes, so Teru didn’t waste too much time. With a predatory grin his fingers jumped to his sides, dancing and scratching from left to right, up and down, effectively searching and finding any and every weak spot where he could latch on and prevent the other from even thinking in payback before he managed to pull at least a single stray giggle.
His worries were, however, unfounded, since the moment the Kageyama’s wide eyes noticed his attack, his entire body tried to curl on itself, arms hugging his torso and legs trying and failing to go up to protect his middle due Teru still being laid on them.
And then, Mob began to shake.
Teru’s fingers faltered, an unpleasant cold fear suddenly appearing on his mind, the fear that he was too rough, too sudden, too close. That he went too far,  overstepped his friend’s boundaries and just made the strongest person he ever known cry for a stupid personal desire.
His eyes then ran to the other’s face, hands still hovering in the air, when he saw it.
Shigeo’s cheeks were puffed out, his eyes were closed, his previous smile now much bigger stretching along his face.
Teru blinked, a bit stunned. The shaking had stopped.
Hm.
He experimentally brought his hands back to his friend’s torso, now skittering along his ribs, index fingers lightly drumming on the space between each one while his thumbs drew circles on the highest ones, the tip of his fingers getting dangerously close to his highest ribs.
Shigeo began shaking again, shoulders jumping up and down just the slightest amount (Teru was sure that if they weren’t that close, he wouldn’t even realize) and small huffs and puffs of air that sounded suspiciously close to muffled yelps made the blonde realize with delight that Shigeo wasn’t just shaking, he was beaming due the amount of giggles and belly laughter he was trying to hide.
That piece of knowledge made his smirk come back at full force, his tickles getting more enthusiastic with this revelation. Now, that just won’t do.
“Come on, Kageyama, you can’t keep them inside forever.” A snort escaped from his tight pressed lips, body swaying a bit to the left when Teruki’s efforts began walking in the direction of his armpits.
Seeing his reaction, the blond decided he wanted to be mean, so he taunted the other by tapping his fingers right on the border of his armpits, just light enough to send tickly tingles where he touched, nerves buzzing with the prospect that he could strike at any moment.
“See? That is already one. You just need to free the rest of them! Let all the high pitched giggles, embarrassing squeaks, cute snorts and melodious laughter come tumbling right out. I promise I won’t break your serious guy façade to everyone we know.”
His teases were accompanied by a couple of pokes to the tickle spot, which made Shigeo duck his head and try to press his mouth on his shoulder, his low, quiet reactions being successfully hidden with it, his bounces getting stronger with the (honestly unfair) mix of silly tickles and taunting teases.
Suddenly, Teru had an idea. It was a risky bet, more than anything. But it could work.
He kept the flow of pokes, slowly increasing the speed bit by bit. “Bet you will feel much better once they’re all out,” Poke. Poke. Poke poke. Poe poke poke.  “don’t you think? To just let it go and laugh and laugh and laugh.” Pokepokepokepokepokepoke.
Mob didn’t answer, the sensation and words making him want to both crawl off his skin (Teru wasn’t even full tickling him yet, how such soft touch could be so maddening-) and not laugh so they could extend that playful moment for longer.
Teru let out his best impression of an evil snicker, lifting himself just a bit more and...
His mouth was now close to Shigeo’s ears.
Perfect.
“Unless you want me to tickle it all out of you.”
As soon as the words filled the room, his hands dug on the armpits, vibrating and unmercifully attacking the so-protected tickle spot with plenty of scratches and scribbles while he blowed weakly at the - now completely red - ears, hoping his assumption that they were ticklish was right and he wasn’t just making a fool of himself.
A surprised and surprisingly loud, high pitched wheeze was his answer and, before the silence could stretch across the room, a waterfall of sounds followed it. Snorts, yelps, squeaks, squeals, titters and an adorably adorable hiccuped laughter began flowing freely from the one with raven hair and they filled every inch of the room, stunning the blonde so much that he almost ceased his attack.
Instead, he pried his hands from under Mob’s arms and shot them upwards, targeting the, as it seems, incredibly and awfully sensitive spot right behind Shigeo’s ears, letting them dance and draw senseless forms on them, skittering the shells and sometimes letting the tickles slip a bit too close to his neck.
A pure and warm delight exploded on his chest when he watched how such a simple thing made Mob throw his head backwards, not even bothering to try to hide the low and fast giggles that spilled in flocks from him, shoulders still bouncing and trying - even if halfheartedly - to press on his ears and save them from the unfair and unexpected attack.
“So your ears really are ticklish.” It wasn’t even a tease now, Teru was so lost in the realization that this was laughter, this was his serious friend, this was the strongest person in the universe laughing and enjoying himself, this was his attentive friend giggling uncontrollably and non stop because of a few silly tickly tickles, that he even forgot to add that snarky, taunting tune in his words, just letting the fun of the moment carry both of them away.
“Yes.” The word was almost unrecognizable when said in between so many titters. Teru’s hands began to explore his neck, tap-tap-tapping non stop from the spot right under his chin to his shoulders, creating tickly, tingly paths wherever he went and Mob knew that the spot wasn’t even that ticklish in the first place, but in this moment it didn’t fail to fish plenty of squeaky yelps from him. His hands shot to hold the sleeves of Teru’s shirt, not really pulling them away. “Teheheru. It t-tihihickles.”
And that was the exact moment Teruki Hanazawa realized he had made an incorrigible mistake.
Because now he wouldn’t ever, ever be able to live without listening at least once again to his name being said in between those bouncy giggles and huffed titters.
Or without seeing that gigantic smile taking over Shigeo’s face. Or the way his cheeks were still puffed out even though the laughter kept falling and filling the air. Or the way the tip of his ears were starting to be painted in a lovely shade of red. Or how low and silly his laughter was. Or how...
Oh.
Oh.
Teru was the one who walked straight to a trap here, wasn’t he?
He felt his grin turning into something much more soft than playful, and tried to pull his smirk again, not being sure if he was successful or not. Fortunately enough, Mob still didn’t open his eyes or he would, without doubt, see the shine that took over his gaze.
“It is supposed to tickle, Kageyama. This is the whole deal here, you know?” He snickered in amusement, lowering his arms to give the boy’s knees a few experimental squeezes, being gifted with a snort at every single one. “But, I must say, I didn’t think you would be so, so ticklish. Maybe we should change your nickname from Mob to Giggle Storm.” Teru wormed one hand to under his knees, slightly pinching the sensitive skin there while the other one kept squeezing the kneecap, the mix of soft and rough tickles creating a stronger hiccuped laughter and low, high pitched giggles, as if to prove his words. “Or maybe Hiccup King, it would be very fitting, right?”
Mob only shook his head, heat flooding across his entire face, body starting to get too tired to keep his beaming and tears beginning to gather in the corner of his eyes. A couple of squeaks escaped from his lips and he tried, once again, to curl his torso, resting his forehead on Hanazawa, who was still on his legs.
A privileged position that the blonde didn’t even think twice before fully exploiting. Shigeo could only get a glimpse of Teru taking a deep breath before shoving his face on his stomach and giving him a huge raspberry.
Another loud, wheezing sound briefly floated in the air before being cut and replaced by full silent belly laughter, one or two hiccups appearing here and there before the one with raven hair fell again in silence.
When the maddening, tickly vibrations were over - even if the buzzing kept dancing across his torso and making the other spots tickle in empathy - Mob put his hands on the other’s shoulders and pushed it away, his arms feeling more wobbly and noodly than normal, as if he had just went through another exercise from the Body Improvement Club. Teru took a look at the few tears running on his cheeks and the gigantic smile on his lips before chuckling and ceasing his attack.
For a moment, they just stayed like that. Shigeo taking deep breaths and slowly stopping the flow of quiet titters that remained dancing around them. Teruki realized that the movie had ended a long time ago.
"Uh, sorry if I went too far. Just... It really looked like you were having fun." The playful tease left his grin before he even realized it.
"I was." The certitude in his tune, the direct way he didn't even seem phased by the whole tickle attack and tease he just received beyond a light redness taking over his cheeks and a smile still adorning his face... Mob was really something else.
In his place, Teru would probably still be a mess of peals of laughter and pleas of mercy. Actually, cross that, his soul would have flown away from his body the moment he received that raspberry.
"I don't mind being tickled. It's fun."
"Heh." Teru's smile got even bigger, losing somewhat its smirk, sincerity dripping freely in his tune. "That is cute."
Mob considered his words, not saying anything to agree or disagree to it.
A comfortable silence fell on them once more.
"I also don't mind getting revenge."

warnings: none aside from light swearing!
☆☆☆
"D-don't!"
Momozo felt the sly grin on his face grow ever so slightly larger. Across from him sat Kageyama Ritsu, both sitting on the latter's bed.
They had been doing their individual homework together the whole afternoon, Momozo texting the other that his weekend tennis practice had been called off. Well, "doing homework;" it was more so Ritsu trying and failing to get Momozo to pay attention to anything other than his phone, and in turn also getting distracted.
(He didn't normally have too much of an issue focusing, but it wasn't Momozo's fault the kid never took any breaks.)
The distraction currently being the way Momozo had confidently stated "I'm bored," before setting his phone down, shooting a glance at the younger boy sitting next to him on the bed, and slowly bringing his hands up as "claws," inching in Ritsu's direction. As he seemed to have made a very ANNOYING habit of doing recently.
"Don't what?"
"Do not tickle me! Takenaka I swear to god-"
As selfish as it may have been, Momozo always relished in how skittish he could get the "Mr. Student Council, Straight A's, Mature and Serious Pretty Boy," which was a facade that he had seen through almost immediately. And not because of his telepathy. Ignoring the part of his brain that groaned at how grossly cheesy it was, the older boy enjoyed being able to see this side of Ritsu.
"Okay, so you're telling me that you really do not want me to tickle you? Is that right?"
The brunette bit back a fond laugh as he watched Ritsu squirm ever so slightly. He noted the small smile that the other was trying very hard and failing to bite down, the way his cheeks were already a lovely shade of pink, and how he was very clearly hesitating in confirming that he most definitely did not want to be tickled right now. Momozo quirked up an eyebrow as if to say ‘I know you’re lying.’ He did that often.
This kid was so easy to read it was almost annoying at times. Almost.
"Hey! N-no fair, you can't use your telepathy, that's cheating!"
Momozo barked out a laugh, grin widening. Normally, he would've grown irritated at the accusation; but with Ritsu, it was far too much fun messing with him for Momozo to be angry. Poor kid just gave himself away, too.
"How many times do I have to remind you, I'm not using my powers. People can say a lot with their eyes and body language. Plus you’re, like, super easy to read."
He watched Ritsu swallow as the boy realized his mistake, once again floundering for any attempt at control over the situation. If Momozo didn't immediately shut down the train of thought, he probably would've said it was cute. Gross.
"W-wait, but my eyes were-"
"Saying that you want me to tickle you? Yeah, I picked up on that."
Growing impatient, Momozo dashed forward on the mattress while Ritsu was still taken aback from the "matter-of-fact" statement. The shorter of the two let out a yelp, scrambling to get away from his assailant, but to no avail. Not only had Momozo had a head start, but he was also just a tad stronger than Ritsu due to his practicing for club and his height. …At least Ritsu liked to tell himself that.
Momozo put on an innocent smile at the friend underneath him; Ritsu's head had found its way to his pillow on the way down, with Momozo resting his hands on either of Ritsu's sides as he kneeled next to him, towering over him just enough to keep him in place. And as much as a show the raven-haired boy made of squirming around, it was clear to both of them that he really wasn't trying to get away. Plus, if he did want to, he had the strength to do so at any time.
"Takenaka!" Ritsu very nearly whined, biting his lip as the wobbly smile on his face became more prominent.
"Mmhm?"
Ritsu threw Momozo what was apparently supposed to be a sharp glare, though there was no clear malice behind it. Embarrassment, maybe, but not anger.
This was so unfair. It was so… childish. Definitely not something a serious, mature and perfectly ordinary middle schooler would spend time doing. So why, Ritsu asked himself, was his stomach filled with a buzzing excitement? Why did he already feel the giggles bubbling up in his chest, and why was it fun? Why was he having fun?
Normally, the only person who could ever get away with and actively tickled Ritsu was his older brother, Shigeo. And occasionally Sho, which was becoming more common, though that was embarrassing just to think about. Momozo has been a… new addition to Ritsu’s “I actually enjoy your company more than an acquaintance” list.
Which had, once again, somehow turned into his “you’re allowed to tickle me without getting telekinetically slammed into a wall (on purpose)” list.
What’s worse was Momozo’s telepathy; it had unintentionally caused Ritsu to allow himself to be more honest with the brunette, which meant not being able to keep up his totally serious and responsible front all the time. The invisible threat of his thoughts and emotions being free to read created a nervousness in Ritsu, making him state more things outright instead of trying to cover them up like he normally would.
Which also meant revealing a more playful side not often seen by anyone, other than his older brother and family.
Hence the situation at hand.
“L-let me go!”
Speaking of telepathy, the more excited a person got usually meant the louder their thoughts got, both subconscious and not. And esper’s thoughts tended to stand out more to Momozo’s hearing in general, though he wasn't sure why. Probably some sort of weird power energy thing.
At least he wasn’t doing it on purpose when he heard ‘Oh my god just do it already this is awful this is so embarrassing he's so-’
“You could very easily get away if you wanted to, Kageyama.”
Ritsu let out an indignant growl. It was anything but intimidating.
He flusteredly spat out, “You’re so annoying!” and what Momozo also hears is ‘Please don’t make me admit it-’
He sighed almost fondly; he had been pretty mean, what with knowing how much anticipation got to the other boy. Maybe it was time to do what he had actually planned to after getting bored with his phone and work…
Ritsu let out another squeaky yelp as he finally felt the hands around his sides squeeze firmly, the hypersensitivity from being on edge having built up to the point where he couldn’t stop the first surge of laughter to cascade from his lips. It was slightly high-pitched, but still boyish and sporadic and somehow so perfectly Ritsu.
But if there's something else that is most definitely Ritsu, it’s being stubborn as all hell when he feels like it. So, instead of fighting back (which Momozo would make a point of bringing up later), the younger boy smacked a hand over his smiling mouth, muffling his laughter as he instinctively squirmed away from the fingers kneading into his sides once more. He tried weakly to roll from side to side in an attempt to dodge Momozo’s hands, which followed him no matter where he went.
“Aw c’monnnn, it’s no fun if you don’t laugh…”
Ritsu shook his head, shoulder bouncing ever so slightly with the laughter that was being held back.
Okay, new tactic, then.
Momozo took a moment to focus more than he had been previously, staring at the boy underneath him with a menacing grin as he projected his own thoughts:
‘I know you want to laugh. Come on come on come on just laughhh you are so boring-’
Ritsu jumped from the startle (he would never quite get used to that power), and let out a few muted giggles behind his hand, narrowing his eyes at the other boy as if to challenge him. He thought back, loud and clear,
‘Eat shit-’ Before very clearly stifling a laugh at whatever look just crossed Momozo’s face.
“Alright, jackass. If you want to be like that then…"
At first glance, most if not all people would not expect Takenaka Momozo to be a “playful” individual; he was cocky when comfortable, sure. Stand-offish, socially anxious, and hardly ever outright playful. In the same way the telepath was allowed to see a realer version of Ritsu, Ritsu was shown a different side of the former as well. And, in all honesty, he regards this fact fondly.
…Except right now.
The raven-haired boy only had time to exclaim a quick “NO!-” before he fell into louder laughter, audible even behind the hand clasped over his mouth. The cause of this laughter of course being the fingers that were once kneading into his sides moving to massage his lower ribs instead; even being so kind as to pay special attention to the sweet spot between the two lowest ribs, causing Ritsu to arch his back upwards and let out what could only be considered a squeal. His face was most definitely burning up now.
“Wow, was that a squeal dude? Forgot how ticklish you are…” Momozo noted nonchalantly, the teasing lilt in his normally aloof voice driving Ritsu mad.
“Shuhut UP! I’m nohot even thahat- NAHA-!”
Whatever Ritsu was about to say was very rudely interrupted by another even higher-pitched round of laughter. Momozo was quick to disprove Ritsu’s claim by turning back and squeezing one of the latter’s knees; he narrowly avoided being kicked while Ritsu’s torso leapt forward instinctively before falling back against the bed. His body had very nearly gone limp, as it did when worse spots were targeted.
Ah, right, he really didn’t have much of a tolerance to strong tickling. Momozo smirked.
“Not even that huh? Didn’t catch that.”
“OKAY OKAY OKAHAHAY IHI’M SORRY! TAKE! SHIHIHIT-”
The slip of the nickname went unnoticed by the laughing boy, and if Momozo’s chest fluttered just the tiniest bit, he ignored it. Instead, he opted for being nice enough to move from the bad spot, bringing his hands up to skitter his short nails over Ritsu’s stomach through his unfortunately thin long sleeve t-shirt.
Ritsu fell into a fit of incredibly bubbly and distinguishably not serious giggles, legs instinctively kicking as he shot his hands out to hold Momozo’s wrists now that the dam of laughter had already been broken. However, that was more so to steady himself than to really fight back, and both boys knew this; it was already too late for him to put up a fight, and he was definitely laughing too hard. Ritsu naturally refused to acknowledge this. Momozo, on the other hand…
“Stohohop looking ahat me like- like thahahat!”
“What’re you gonna do? Push my hands away?”
"Shuhut UHUHUP!"
"Hm, that was kind of rude." Momozo responded calmly as he casually massaged the small bit of pudge Ritsu always had on his tummy that he "definitely should have grown out of." Not that he had time to think about that currently, though, considering the endless waves of giggling laughter that made it hard for him to form any coherent sentences.
The brunette continued to attack his friend’s stomach with no signs of letting up any time soon; he switched unpredictably between squishing around the softer area and spidering his fingers, sneaking his hands just the tiniest bit under the end of Ritsu’s now rumpled up t-shirt to scribble over the spot just beneath the shorter boy’s navel. A spot that, without fail, always made him kick and hiccup-laugh like there was no tomorrow.
At this point, Ritsu's thoughts had turned into a sort of jumbled and mostly incoherent mess, which wasn't anything foreign to Momozo. Sometimes thoughts were less of… thoughts, and more so feelings. And the only intense feeling radiating off of Ritsu was 'It tickles it tickles it tickles so BAD-'
The ticklish shocks running through Ritsu’s body were the only thing he could focus on as he shook his head back and forth, feeling how his cheeks were burning up and how the butterflies in his stomach just refused to let up. It was like an unbearable but pleasant electricity coursing through his nerves, starting at his stomach and spreading through his body before all collecting at one point in his chest; the place where the uncontrollable laughter flowed freely from his mouth.
Despite his brain’s natural reactions to the sensations, Ritsu really didn’t mind the feeling. In all honesty, he quite enjoyed being tickled; it allowed for a certain sense of vulnerability he had always had a hard time showing, a way for him to feel comfortable enough to laugh and smile freely. Though his stamina could only last so long, especially as someone who isn’t fully used to being tickled.
The younger boy didn’t seem to notice at first that the ticklish sensations on his stomach had ceased, catching his breath as he let out the rest of his breathy titters.
After a moment, Ritsu glanced up and made eye contact with Momozo, who to anyone else would have seemed bored; but Ritsu wasn't anyone, and caught the small smile still resting on his lips, likely mirroring his own unconscious one. A smile he quickly tried to cover up by glaring daggers at the boy above him.
What he would've give to wipe that stupid smile away with-
"You good?" Momozo asked, thankfully cutting off wherever that train of thought was headed.
Ritsu broke the eye contact bashfully, needing to look at anything other than the stupid genuine expression on the boy leaning over him because that's embarrassing and this is embarrassing.
Speaking of embarrassing, he quickly pulled his hands away from around Momozo's wrists, opting to cross his arms instead and pretend he didn't look like a toddler pouting at the moment.
"Alright, solid answer."
"So are you going to get off of me now, or what?"
"Dunno." Momozo shrugged. Ritsu bristled.
"What do you mean you don't know??"
"Do you want me to?"
"...You're a jerk."
The brunette couldn't help but chuckle. While his boredom had most definitely been cured, he knew they were both having far too much fun to go back to focusing on homework anyway. Well, Ritsu probably could, 'Like the nerd he is.' Momozo noted to himself.
He was pulled away from those brief thoughts by Ritsu's suddenly much less flustered tone of voice (which definitely couldn't be good) as he asked,
"Hey Takenaka."
"...'Sup?"
Ritsu grinned.
"I'm bored."
In the moment it took the latter to realize what Ritsu was getting at, he was already too late.

(shigeo, ritsu, teru)
summary: being caught in the middle of a rivalry is exhausting, especially when the rivalry is about you.
a/n: merry christmas, @lee-lucius !! i was your secret santa this year :) and thanks to hypah @squealing-santa for hosting <3
[this is a sfw tickle fic!]
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
Shigeo isn’t popular. He’s been told that before; Reigen’s made it very clear, at least. He’s well aware that he has a small group of friends, but he’s fine with that. He doesn’t exactly like when lots of attention is on him, it overwhelms him.
So, he’s not used to being fought over.
“You have an unfair advantage.” Teruki sits behind him, arms wrapped around Shigeo’s waist and pulling him into his lap. His head is resting on Shigeo’s shoulder. “You live together.”
“That doesn’t mean we’re always spending time with each other.” Ritsu sits across from them, leaning against the wall, arms crossed.
“But you’ve known each other all your lives!” Teru huffs.
Shigeo stays out of their argument, embarrassed and unsure what to say. He instead leans his head slightly against Teru’s and focuses on the feel of the steady thumping of the blond’s heart.
“If Shige liked you more, that wouldn’t matter,” Ritsu retorts.
Teru makes a hmph noise. “But that’s still not fair! Right, Shigeo?”
Ritsu narrows his eyes. “Shigeo?”
Teru’s heartbeat speeds up. “Ah. U-um.”
“It’s fine,” Shigeo interrupts, before either of them can say anything more. “You don’t have to fight.”
“Shi—” Teru cuts himself off with a glare in Ritsu’s direction. “He’s right. There’s no need to fight over this.”
Ritsu nods. “Right. Glad you realised how wrong you are.”
Shigeo sighs and prepares himself for a long day.
It becomes a competition of who knows Shigeo better. Ritsu, naturally, is winning, although Teru continues to protest against the advantage that he has. Shigeo tunes them out, not bothering to pay any attention. He doesn’t even realise that they’re asking him a question until Teru pokes him to get his attention.
“C’mon! Answer!”
Shigeo blinks back into reality. “Ah, Teru—” (“Teru,” mouths Ritsu, gaping at the use of not only Teru’s first name, but his nickname) “—cut that out, please.” He swats Teru’s hands away lightly before looking up. “Um. What were you asking?”
Ritsu shakes his head to clear his obviously many thoughts and questions. “We just wanted to know—”
“Are you ticklish, Shigeo?”
Please stop calling me that, you’ll give Ritsu a stroke, Shigeo thinks, before the question registers. “Huh?”
Teru pokes him again, gentler this time. “Or are you hurt? You’re not hurt, are you?”
“N-no, I’m fine.”
Ritsu leans in, looking interested. “I didn’t think you were still ticklish, Shige.”
Their attention is suddenly entirely on him. He squirms a bit. “U-um, what was the que—aha!” He jolts, and Teru giggles beside his ear.
“Oh, you are!” He turns to Ritsu. “See, I bet I know more about where he’s ticklish than you do!”
Before Shigeo could point out that actually, neither of them had known anything about it until just a moment ago, Teru’s fingers spring into action, and then Shigeo is too busy with his sudden fit of laughter.
He covers his mouth with his hand, curling up. “W-wahahait!” he protests quietly at the feeling of Teru scribbling over his stomach.
“Just admit it, Shigeo,” Teru says, and Shigeo can feel the outline of his smile from where the blond’s cheek is touching his, his chin resting on Shigeo’s shoulder. “I know you better.”
“He can’t admit something if it’s not true.” Ritsu’s voice is suddenly much closer than before, and then an extra set of hands are squeezing his knees.
Teru grumbles. “Go on,” he tells Shigeo. “Which of us do you like better?”
“Th-thahahat wahasn’t the quehehestion!” Shigeo squeals, batting at the assaulting hands but otherwise not fighting back much.
“No, it wasn’t,” Ritsu agrees, “because the answer is obviously—”
“Bohohoth! Both of yohou!”
The two of them pause instantly. Teru is the first to speak up.
“...Both?”
Shigeo nods, catching his breath. “B-both…I like you both.”
They look at each other, and for a moment Shigeo thinks they'll finally stop arguing. And then —
“That's not the right answer, Shige.” Four hands are back to tormenting him, and the noise Shigeo makes is not a squeal… but it is pretty damn close.
“Wait, wait, wahahait!”
This continues for a while — all three of them know that Shigeo could never actually pick a favourite between the two of them. The arguing is just for fun, and it’s a silent agreement that the tickling is because Shigeo needs to smile more often.
But when Shigeo pleads for them to stop, they both freeze instantly; because much like he cares about them too much for his own good, they love him too much to keep tormenting him. A smile being forced from you isn’t a true smile, after all.

A normal day
Tumblr media
A/N: this is my first fanfic... and my first post lol so if there is something wrong with my writing or My English please tell me.
(this was an idea from a fan art that made @ssnicker-doodless a time ago and a headcanon that Made @ticklish-ghost, hope you like it!)
summary: reigen, mob and serizawa are going to solve a problem with a spirit, Unexpectedly reigen is captured by two spirits, what will they do to reigen?
(This is a tickle fanfic!, if you don't like it don't read it)
-----------
It was going to be a normal day, that's what Reigen think, he had received several calls from people who said they heard laughter at different times of the day and after much insistence he decided to attend to the case.
"Well, we're here, let's finish this quickly to go eat something" Reigen said, arriving at the building together with Mob and Serizawa.
"Thank you Reigen for bringing me but... Couldn't mob do it alone? Serizawa said clearly nervous, this was from one of his first exorcisms.
"It's for your training Serizawa" Reigen answered confidently entering the apparently abandoned building.
They spent a few minutes inspecting the place but they found nothing, at one point mob and serizawa said they felt energy from a spirit.
"Yes, there's definitely a spirit here" mob said calmly, Reigen has called him again with a short time and he had to say goodbye to his friends, it was frustrating, he wanted to finish this as soon as possible.
"From what I perceive, it is a rather weak spirit that can be easily exorcised" Serizawa said calmer, seeing that the spirit was not a major threat.
Great, in that case you take care of the spirit and I'll go outside, what do you think?" Reigen said tired, wanting to leave immediately.
"Yes, master, we'll take care of it" mob said going to exorcise the spirit followed by serizawa.
"What a bother..." Reigen thought as he looked for the exit... Until suddenly he heard a noise in a room at the end of a corridor.
"huh?" Reigen said confused approaching the room.
"mob..? Serizawa? Are you here...?" Reigen ask entering the room without getting an answer, the only thing he saw was a closet.
"what the hell is this...?" He asked confused, he thought heard something inside the closet, a little scared, Reigen opened it slowly and... There was nothing.
*mm maybe it was just my imagination* Reigen thought ready to go... When he suddenly felt something lift him up!
"WHAT THE-" Reigen screamed before something covered his mouth.
"ooohhh what do we have here, another person to make laugh" said the one who was holding him, he was purple and had several tentacles made of smoke.
"yeah, finally another one falls" another spirit said coming out of the closet.
"THERE ARE TWO?!?!" Reigen thought panicking, will there be more? That must be the reason why mob and serizawa went another way.
"hehe... You know I'm sure you have a lovely laugh~" the spirit said with a mischievous smile.
Reigen panicked more *What were they going to do?*He thought.
Just as he was going to protest he felt something slide down his ribs and that's when the spirit pulled the tentacle from his mouth.
"what the hehelI?!" Reigen said totally confused.
"Oh honey, we tickle those who pass by accident here, we like to hear people laugh" the spirit said calmly.
"WHAHAHAT?!" tickle?! He couldn't take that! he was embarrassed to admit it but he was very ticklish, dammit.
Suddenly he felt his shoes go off, *oh no* he thought.
"NOHOHOHO WAIHIHIHIT" one started to tickle his feet and the other one his ribs, *perfect" he thought.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHO, MOHOHOHOB HEHEHEHELP" Reigen screamed desperately, what else could he do? He couldn't fight and all he wanted at that moment was for the tickling to stop.
"oohhh look how cute you look~" the Spirit said tickling his hips now.
*REALLY?! NOW THEY HAVE TO MOCK HIM?!* Reigen could feel his face heat up and turn red like a Tomato.
"NOHOHO I AM NOHOHOT CUHUHUTE STOHOHOP PLEHEHEHEASE" where the hell were mob and serizawa?! He couldn't stand another minute, they were tickling his feet, hips and ribs and also make fun on him! Was this his end...?-
"master...?"
Suddenly, the tickling stopped and he felt relief, what happened..? He turned his head and saw mob next to serizawa at the door, mob looked confused and serizawa a little nervous but with an amused look.
"mohohob! Help mee!" Reigen screamed thinking that everything was over, meanwhile the spirits were nervous and worried.
"What... happened to the spirit we sent to distract them...?" the spirit with tentacles ask clearly nervous.
"We exorcised him" mob said without hesitation, "we defeated him easily and then we got out but we didn't find reigen, then we went in the building to looked for him but there was no trace of him... Until we heard his laughter"
*oh...* Reigen thought, he think that his face couldn't be more red but it was, how embarrassing...
"oh well you'll see boy, we were tickling this kind gentleman, if you stop us we'll have to fight" the Spirit said tickling Reigen again but this time in the neck as a warning mode.
"AH! hahaha nohoho stohop! haha mohohob! Serizahahawa! Stohohop thehehem! Haha" Reigen yelled, his neck wasn't so ticklish but they still drove him crazy.
*Mmm* mob thought, he wanted to help his master and continue with his day but... Somehow he felt he deserved it, for all the times when he called him with short time, he looked at serizawa who was still watching the scene funny and gave him a look of "if you want to" to which mob said.
"we are going to exorcise you, but we will give you 10 minutes with him, so that you can go in peace"
"WHAHAT?!?!" Reigen screamed with total betrayal, DAMN, they were going to pay for it! But he didn't have time to think when he suddenly felt tickled everywhere.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHO MOHOHOHOB YOU TRAIHIHIDOHOR!"
"Well I guess it's better to die peacefully than fighting" the spirit said, knowing that before leaving he would tickle someone.
"Yes... I guess we have to take advantage of every second!" The other Spirit said pulling out more tentacles to attack every inch of reigen.
"DAHAHAMIHIHIT STOHOHOP HAHAHAHAHA" reigen could feel every part of his body being attacked, now he was completely crazy!
"HAHAHA SERIZAHAHAWA DOHOHO SOMETHIHIHING!" he yelled looking at serizawa thinking that he was his last hope.
"Well, I think this is better than fighting with the spirits right? Besides, it's just tickling, can't you bear it, Reigen?" Serizawa said, although he was nervous about what Reigen would do to them later, he was enjoying the moment.
*shit* reigen thought, who already had tears in his eyes from laughing, Why him? At that point he couldn't formulate words and the only thing he was doing was laugh and laugh.
The 10 minutes passed and the spirits complied and let go Reigen who was trying to catch his breath and too embarrassed to say anything.
"Thank you for at least letting us tickle him, by the way... Reigen right? Your laugh is adorable you should laugh more! And with that mob and serizawa eliminated the spirits.
"Okay, can we go now? Mob said which was already going to the exit next to serizawa.
"yehehes we should go now" reigen said still red, oh... They were going to pay one day.

A Little Confidence
Fandom: Mob Psycho 100
Characters: Lee!Reigen Ler!Serizawa (Romantic)
Wordcount: 1240
Summary: As Serizawa gets more confident in his relationship, he also gets more touchy. This has unforeseen benefits.
Serizawa’s not a stranger to Reigen’s, er, eccentricities. Reigen is a man who’s constantly in motion – constantly waving his hands, constantly walking about, constantly making noise, constantly the center of attention.
That makes it all the more meaningful during quiet, after-work moments like this. Serizawa watches Reigen smoke on the balcony, a bit melancholy, leaning over and staring out into the city deep in thought. That was the thing about Reigen. One moment he was full of excitement and energy and passion, the next he was still and calm. Serizawa got the impression that neither was exactly a facade; just two sides to a very complicated man. As his boyfriend, Serizawa had come to love both.
“Hm? Like what you see, Serizawa?” Reigen turned his eyes from the city to his boyfriend, and Serizawa jumped in alarm at getting caught staring.
“Uh, sorry.” Serizawa rubbed the back of his neck self-consciously. He wasn’t quite used to this whole dating thing. Was that creepy?
Reigen waved him over, putting out his cigarette in a little bowl on the patio table. “Get over here. You need some confidence. I mean, really, who apologizes for looking at their boyfriend?” There’s a thick teasing tone to Reigen’s voice, as there usually is.
Serizawa follows him out onto the balcony, staring out at the city next to Reigen. It’s chilly. The sun is setting. There’s the lingering scent of Reigen’s one daily cigarette in the air and the strange, crisp scent of a good autumn sunset. Looking out at Seasoning City feels different now. Back with Claw, it felt like a different, terrifying world; a place that needed to be conquered and controlled before he belonged there. Now it looks imperfect and beautiful, dotted with little stores and a library he’d never have had the courage to visit just a few years ago. “It looks like home out there now,” Serizawa says, a bit quietly. Before Reigen can make a quip about how cheesy that was, Serizawa takes his hand, and Reigen feels the comment die in his throat. They’d just begun dating, and Serizawa being forward like this was a rare treat. Reigen didn’t want to open his mouth and scare Serizawa off like some startled animal. Instead, he urged Serizawa on, turning to face him and using his free hand to gently hold on to Serizawa. “Uh, is it alright if I kiss you?” Serizawa asked. Reigen gave him a small nod and a soft smile, gazing up at Serizawa with an expectant, fond look. Serizawa nervously glanced to the inside of Reigen’s apartment, relieved when none of the various household items had started floating due to Serizawa’s giddiness.
Serizawa didn’t need to be told twice. He leaned down, at first planting a small kiss to Reigen’s lips; but Reigen chased his mouth, deepening it. It was a good businessman’s job, Serizawa supposed, to be a bit greedy. The eagerness gave him confidence. Serizawa brushed his hand down Reigen’s side gently, taking note of how Reigen shivered at his touch, before gently grabbing his hip to hold h -
Reigen made a choked, ugly kind of sound into the kiss, backing away suddenly.
“Boss, are you alright?” Serizawa’s concern was immediate. He knew he wasn’t too experienced with all of this, but he was being so gentle, how did he manage to mess this up? Was Reigen injured there? He always had some sort of assortment of bruises and scuffs from jobs gone wrong.
“You’re fine, you’re fine. Don’t worry. Also, no ‘boss’ while we’re kissing.” Reigen said, patting Serizawa’s shoulder gently. “Now, where were we?” He leaned in, quite intent on getting another kiss, but Serizawa was lost in thought. Was Reigen… ticklish? Almost on autopilot, Serizawa reached forward, grabbing at Reigen’s hips again, and Reigen gasped. “Serizawa, I swear…”
Seeing the blush creep onto Reigen’s face, the trace of fear… This was too good for Serizawa to pass up. “Hm, you know, Reigen? You’re right. If there’s anything I’ve learned from you and the kids, it’s that I need to be confident. I need to stand up for myself and what I want. And what I want to do right now is… this!”
Serizawa used both his hands to knead at Reigen’s hips, and Reigen thrashed about, whapping at Serizawa’s shoulder gently. His blush was growing, and his small, nervous hint of a smile had turned into a full-on grin. He kept his lips stubbornly shut, trying to wiggle out of Serizawa’s grasp. Serizawa was deceptively strong, however, and Reigen was already feeling like something akin to pudding.
“Serizawa, Serizawa, come on, you! You big oaf, cut it – eep!” Never one to keep his mouth shut for long, Reigen voiced his complaints through gritted teeth, afraid of letting laughter slip through. Then Serizawa moved to his ribs, getting the spaces in between in just the right way, and shit, that tickles so, so bad.
Reigen’s laugh was disheveled, off-beat in a way that was just so painfuly Reigen, a frantic giggle dotted with snorts and incoherent pleas. His eyes were closed tight, his nose scrunched, his hands gripping into Serizawa’s tee, and Serizawa’s heart had never felt so full.
“Cut it out? Reigen, you should be proud of me! Look how confident I’m being! How forward!” Serizawa punctuated his mock offense with some well-placed squeezes. He massaged circles into Reigen’s upper sides, and Reigen collapsed into Serizawa with some kind of hellish noise. “Oh, bad spot?” Serizawa teased into Reigen’s ear with a tone that was unbearably smooth and unbearably hot, and Reigen was surprised he didn’t die right there in his arms.
“Yohou ahsho – AH! Shit! You -” Reigen didn’t even have the energy to get away, giving up his escape attempts in lieu of clinging onto Serizawa for dear life.
Serizawa kept one hand squeezing up and down his side, but used his other to experiment, running it around various parts of Reigen. Reigen’s stomach didn’t seem to give much of a reaction. His lower back caused Reigen to squirm a bit, but as Serizawa traveled up Reigen’s spine to his shoulder blades, Reigen gasped and yelped. Jackpot. He spidered on the top of Reigen’s back, and Reigen belly-laughed, squirming and whining in Serizawa’s hold.
When Reigen’s laughs turned a bit too wheezy and tired-sounding for Serizawa’s comfort, he finally released Reigen from his hug. Reigen struggled to compose himself, still giggling and still a bit wobbly on his feet, gripping Serizawa for support.
“I’ll get you. I’ll get you for that one,” Reigen threatened. Serizawa sighed, content and a bit in love.
“Sorry if I, uh, went a bit too far.” Serizawa was a bit sheepish now, his anxieties creeping back now that the endorphins of seeing Reigen smile and laugh like that were wearing off. He really hoped it wasn’t too far. Keeping himself from tickling Reigen to pieces just to see him so happy and unguarded would be his hardest test of will yet.
“You’re fine.” Reigen said, not meeting Serizawa’s eyes. “It wasn’t bad.”
“Wasn’t bad?” Serizawa asked.
“Don’t read into that too deep.” Reigen muttered. “Come on. Let’s get inside, I’m starving.”
Serizawa followed Reigen in, shutting the balcony door behind him. Reigen was right; a little confidence once in a while goes a long way.

What do you think about Teruki?
(Haven’t watched all episodes of the Claw thing. Just saying.)
Oooh. Ooh, okay. So, I don't really want to spoil anything for you (because literally every main character in the show has massive character development throughout the whole series) so I'll try not to give anything away.
Honestly, I love the guy. He's so funny, and bright, his fashion sense fucking SUCKS, and like. He's a real 14 year old, even if he has been forced to mature a little, so I honestly can't blame him for getting cocky with his psychic powers at his intro.
Once again, trying to spoil as little as possible, he's a fucking awesome friend, I personally fucking LOVED his moments in season 3 (NO I WON'T ELABORATE) he's aaawesome :D my 5th favourite probably! because there's so many good characters in this show like what the fuck this can't be allowed????
what do you think abt him so far?

A Little Pick Me Up!
Kanene’s note: FIRST FIC OF THE YEAR!!! LET’S GOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Hope you didn’t forget about me, since I didn’t post since last year :DDD *ba dum tss*
Yeah yeah I am very funny thank you <3
This story is 100% inspirated on @carrie-tate‘s headcanons that Teru likes to randomly pick up Shigeo and give him raspberries so Shigeo starts training to be able to do the same thing with him sdfghjfghjuk. Absolutely lovely <3
Warnings: Raspberries. This is a tickle fic with Switch!Mob and Switch!Teruki. Around 3.500 words.
[~*~]
That was something hitting his window.
It was too light. Too often. Too loud, swimming around his mindless, peaceful sleep and rudely pulling him bit by bit from it without permission.
Shigeo kept his eyes closed, shuffling even further on his comforter and refusing to acknowledge the sound until it disappeared. Sometimes spirits liked to cause a ruckus at night and that was none of his business. Nor something he particularly cared about, not when his bed never felt any comfier.
There was still an insistent tap-tap-tap on his window.
He opened his eyes and sat on his futon with soundless movements, face carefully kept in a neutral mask while his eyes focused on the glass with a strong intent, showing his unhappiness at having to be up and about at this hour.
An annoyed gruff was already yawning on the back of his throat.
Teruki waved at him from behind the window.
Shigeo turned to his right, looking at the second futon right next to his own, watching with a lost feeling its emptiness and the blankets that were messily thrown around it as if they could explain exactly why his friend was locked outside the room when they wished each other a goodnight a few hours ago, cutting their sleepover short and going to sleep after a whole afternoon hanging out.
He turned back to Teruki.
Blink.
He was still out there and not magically materialized on the spot besides him.
The blond waved before putting his hands around his face and mouthing something.
"Let me in!"
His movements were still sluggish, painted and shaded by a sleepiness that insisted on getting attached to his very bones, but Shigeo got up and walked to the window, opening it.
It was windy outside and cold too, the breeze almost freezing enough to cover the warm feeling on his chest when Teru smiled at him with a hint of mischief on the slight tilt of his lips. His hair would be even messier than the normal by morning.
"Sorry. The wind slammed the window when I stepped out and I got stuck." The glint on his eyes didn't show an ounce of tiredness. Each breath seemed to invigorate him. Somehow he didn't seem very sorry at all. "Come here, I want to show you something!"
"No, thank you, I don't want to." And Shigeo turned away, already heading back to the comfort and warmth of his bed.
He managed to successfully get to the middle of the way before an arm sneaked under his knees, holding them together while the other one rested on his back, tipping the one with black hair sideways and lifting him up as he lost his balance with half protesting grumble, the only reaction he had to suddenly and unexpectedly finding himself being carried bridal style by the other.
He stared at Teru and his playful grin with his usual neutral face, not a tad or two more alarmed than the normal with his current situation. The Body Improvement Club prepared him to being carried and picked up out of the blue.
“What are you doing?”  Teru only adjusted his arms so he could be in a comfortable position. There was something hilarious (or maybe it was just the tiredness) on the way Mob only blinked in his direction and simply nothing more, totally unimpressed and one hundred percent done with everything already as he began walking back to the outside, liking very much the sensation of having him in his arms. “I want to go back to sleep.”
Who would say that the most powerful esper to ever exist would come in a pickable size.
“This will be real quick, don’t worry.” The one with blond hair summoned his telekinesis, testing it for a bit before feeling satisfied with the result and activating it fully and joggling in zigzag in the air until both of them were safely situated on the rooftop of the Kageyama’s house.
He opened his mouth, ready to present his surprise when something pressed on his shoulder. Teru looked down only to see Shigeo grumble a little more and hold tightly his pajama’s shirt, face still locked on the same place, firmly shoved on the space between his shoulder and chest.
For a moment all Teru could do was stare at him with slightly wide eyes, instinctively pulling Shigeo closer.
Then it hit him.
“Telekinesis gives you motion sickness, right? Sorry, I kind of forgot about that.” He winced at his own words. ‘Kind of forgot about that’. God, his charm never seemed to help him when he really needed it to.
“It’s fine.” The voice was muffled because of the fabric, but for what Teru could perceive there wasn’t any signal strong distress on his friend’s tune, only a light discomfort. His face also didn’t look any paler than normal and there wasn’t any drop of sweat on his neck.
The blond felt his posture relax, not ever realizing that he was that tense in the first place.
Well, better focus on the reason he did all that work then, right?
“I woke up because of an explosion nearby.” The night was quiet, so it felt only natural to accompany it with calm whispers. Tonight the wind was cold and insistent, just enough to leave a couple or more of shivers running on his spine and making the leaves shake with a slight hissing sound. It felt like a storm was slowly creeping closer. “It made the power go away and it seems to have affected the whole neighborhood and maybe the next block as well, so it probably won’t take too long before it comes back.”
Shigeo began to slowly detach his face from its hiding spot, the light nausea that hinted to appear already going away and giving space to the curiosity gradually filling his mind with each one of Hanazawa’s words.
He didn’t even realize that the streetlamps weren’t working, but now it was clear that they couldn’t be. He could still see and there was still light surrounding them, but it felt less… sharp and flaring than the normal.
“That is why I woke you up.” A whisper, a murmur. Teruki always felt energetic, shiny and colorful, as if it was only natural for all the attention to be focused on him and his words (even if sometimes he looked at Shigeo as if his attention could be everything he could ever want). It was very different to hear him talking so low and reverently. It was very… nice. Comfortable. Warm. He really liked it. “I didn’t know how long we would have, but… Look.”
So he did. Mob looked up and found Teruki’s eyes before he tipped them upwards, making the shorter one follow his gaze to the sky.
The sky full of stars.
“Ah.”
“Yeah.”
The farthest points in the street were bathed in darkness, as far as his eyes could reach there was only a deep black greeting him back, which only highlighted the illumination coming from the sky. Stars twinkled in and out their shine as heavy dark clouds slowly navigated around them, moving forward with the wind and dipping their surroundings in shows of light and darkness dancing in harmony.
It was infinite, stretching and taking over absolutely everywhere, being present on the light, on the wind, on every ounce of their surroundings, filling him with an unspeakable sensation.
The feeling that something so big and beautiful was so just right there, too far and too close at the very same time. And they had the chance to see it.
Shigeo has no idea of how much time passed with them just… standing there. Enjoying the simple, cozy moment in between the silence and their quiet breaths.
“It’s beautiful.”
“Yes.” Teruki agreed easily, and, as if the words had broken the spell, turned back at him with a slight smirk playing on his lips. “So, wasn’t this worth waking up to? I didn't know you were such a grumpy pants when you’re sleepy.”
“I wasn’t being grumpy.” Replied Shigeo, in a tune that definitely wasn’t a grump one, of course. Just a bit displeased. And rational. Very calm and rational, just exactly as he had been the entire time as he was awake in the middle of the night because he wasn’t a grumpy pants.
Teruki tried to not snicker at the clear hint of a pout in the other’s face, his cheeks beginning to puff out with his pokes of friendly fun. “You were. Just like a disheveled kitten meowing in betrayal because someone took you out of your warm bed.”
A lovely shade of red began to paint Mob’s cheeks, which, as consequence, got even more puffed out in protest, words disappearing from his mind before he could reply such teasing.
“A disheveled kitten?”
“Hmm…” The Hanazawa made a thoughtful face, slightly adjusting Shigeo on his arms as he pulled him closer. “Actually, no, wait. Forget that. If you really were an animal I know exactly which one you would be.”
There was something dangerous with the way the blonde stared at him, a twinkling shine on his eyes, a certain quirk in the corner of his mouth, the way fingers twitched…He was planning something.
A shiver ran across Mob’s spine.
He knew that gaze very well.
“Which… one?”
Teru’s grin only grew, making butterflies shake their wings in excitement on his stomach. His own lips began forming a wobbly smile before he could even think in stopping them.
“A giggle bug.”
Then he took a big, exaggerated breath and Shigeo’s eyes widened, hands coming to his chest in a pacifying motion, caught in between the idea of trying to push the other away and try to defend himself and wrap them around his vulnerable, sensitive, ticklish midsection, but ending up not doing any of the two things.
“Teru!” But the other was still distracted with the way-too-over-the-top and unnecessary deep breath, which was quite good because Mob didn’t even know what he wanted to say or how he could end that phrase. Words never came easily to him and now that his thoughts felt like they were scrambling all around his head, sentences simple were mixing themselves with giggles and the danger signals his nerves were sending non stop, making his entire torso feel like a gigantic tickle spot with plenty of feathers spreading a madly tingling sensations on absolutely everywhere.
He tried to pull his legs upwards and curl in a defensive ball, but the hand carrying him kept them nice and cozy right where they were.
How can Teru still-
With a swift, quick move, Teru finally (finally) lowered his head.
For a second, Shigeo was frozen by the raspberry, brain halting to a stop and the entire time and space freezing in a single blink.
Until it all came crashing down.
There were ticklish shocks running across every single ounce of skin, the vibrations spreading from the single point where the blond’s lips connected to his belly to dance and torment all the nerves nearby, pulling a wheezed snort from his mouth before his silent laughter and hiccups took over, whole body shaking and bouncing with every single one.
As quick as it came, the raspberry was over and Mob could only lay there and let his giggles dance freely on the sudden silence for the few seconds it lasted, using the break to take gulps of oxygen and try to not let the rest of his features disappear under the giant smile stretched across his face.
He opened his eyes. His vision was slightly blurry, but he could perfectly see the joyful, adoring blue eyes watching him in a soft expression. Then the dangerous light was back and a smirk took over  Teru’s mouth before it opened once again and he began taking another deep breath.
Shigeo, now knowing exactly what was about to happen, shoved his face on the other’s shoulder  once more, the tips of his ears getting completely red as his own shoulders bounced non stop with a giddy delight, the butterflies once again flying and panicking on his stomach, titters and quiet squeaks rolling in flocks by his throat.
Another raspberry. Another roll of laughter. And another. And another. And another. And another. And-
Let’s just say that Mob was left in a much better mood when they got inside the house than when he had to go out.
(...)
Mob was staring at him.
It was something he did sometimes. Stopped everything he was doing and just… looked at Teruki. Eyes following him through whatever he was doing, gaze clued on his gestures, all the attention directed at his words as the teen fell in another of his dramatic rambles about a senseless whatever.
Teruki couldn’t really say that he minded when it happened. It was actually very cute. It reminded him of a cat and more than a few times he would turn around to stare at the one with black hair back and slowly blink at him, only to chuckle when Mob replied to him in the same way.
(He never discovered if Mob realized the joke and got in on it to amuse him or if he just was mirroring him because he didn’t want to leave Teru hanging. Or maybe Mob was really just part cat. Either way, it was still very adorable and it made his heart want to melt inside his chest when he thought too much about it.)
So, back to the matter, Shigeo just came back from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn and was now looking at him rather intently. Teruki finished sending a few more messages to the class’ group before turning off his phone, an amused air on his expression as he also focused his attention on the other one.
Shigeo lighty tilted his head to the right and left the bowl on the coffee table, giving Teru another searching glance before deciding to fixate his gaze on his own hands. Teru wondered what was going on inside his mind.
Today they were reunited in the Hanazawa’s apartment in celebration of the fact that, after months of training, Mob was able to finish his first entire week of doing his sets of exercises, complete with weight lifting and running through the Body Improvement Club’s usual track.
Without passing out a single time!
Everyone was very proud of the shorter boy.
Shigeo nodded to himself, getting a determined look on his face (with his eyebrows lightly furrowed and the corner of his mouth just slightly tipped upwards) and basically throwing himself on the blonde.
Teru let out a quite embarrassing squawk at this, body throwing itself from its sitting position in face of the eminent attack by reflex, the hands that wobbly wormed their way under his knees and shoulders making him try to squirm out of the hold before realizing that it was just Shigeo trying to carry him.
Wait.
His body was lifted, no longer laying on the couch and being completely supported by the other’s pure physical strength.
Shigeo was carrying him!!
He hastily turned his attention to Mob, who let out a happy soft noise, a few shades of red being painted on his cheeks when Teruki laughed joyfully and locked his arms behind his neck, letting his fingers skitter a bit on the ticklish skin just to see his proud smile expand and the shorter to try to scrunch his neck in a ineffective illusion of a protection.
The arms under him began trembling uncontrollably, the strain starting to get into his muscles as his legs seemed to be transitioning from bones and muscles to the state of unstable wet noodles.
Ops. Bad idea, that was a bad idea. Note for future Teru when they fall ungracefully on the floor: don’t tease Mob when he is holding him.
Before he could possibly summon his powers and prevent them both to have a promptly date with the floor, with a quick and well thought maneuver Mob spun and let himself fall in a sitting position on the couch, small gasps for oxygen and a few droplets of sweat showing on his forehead at the physical exertion.
And yet he kept Teru firmly on a bridal style hold the entire time.
The Hanazawa snorted. Shigeo was an incorrigible softie.
Teru turned to look at the other, a taunting poke of fun already getting ready on the tip of his tongue when Shigeo’s own voice filled the room.
“Do you remember what you did to me when you held me like that?"
Teru froze in the same place. Wide eyes staring at the tiny, but horribly teasy smile on Mob’s face as the words brought memories of laughter, of giggles and, especially, of an attack you couldn’t simply run away.
Shigeo was a monster. Shigeo was a cold, calculist human who unfairly attacked defenseless and awfully ticklish people that have never, never ever done anything wrong in their entire life to deserve such a harsh, merciless and unforgiving treatment.
“Nonono, wait, Mob, wait!” His tune already had a hint of hysteria in it, voice getting increasingly more and more higher and less coherent as the words spilled in waves from his lips, even if Shigeo didn’t move a single finger in his direction. “We can come to an agreement, Shig, you really don’t need to- NO!”
A single blink and in less than a second Mob’s head was being shoved on his belly, sealing Teruki’s defeat with a series of raspberries that somehow were laid exactly on his most ticklish spots, vibrating and vibrating and vibrating and tickling all over his sides, ribs, hips and even the patch of skin right above his bellybutton that never failed to summon a crackling squeal from him.
The maddening sensation completely took over all his senses and mind, erasing any and every kind of thought that wasn’t just incoherent babbling and uncontrollable laughter twirling in the air in harmony.
It felt like forever - but probably didn’t last more than a couple of minutes -, the ghost sensation of buzzing and tiny tickly shocks swimming across every nerve, giving each one some attention before immediately going to torment another, when Mob relented his attack.
His teasy grin seemed even more teasy and happy than normal, the light in his eye burning bright and soft at the image of Teru giggling and blushing in his embrace, tears on the corner of his eyes and an enormous smile going from one ear to another, one of two snorts tumbling clumsily in between the remanent laughter and titters.
Shigeo felt like he could spend the entire day looking at him.
Their eyes locked. Teru wiped the few tears that ran across his cheeks, the smile on his face slowly transforming into something a tad more cheeky and much more like the smirk he always had before saying something that would never fail to pull a more playful side of the other.
“That is what you call a revenge? I barely even felt anything.”
Ah, there it was.
Shigeo took a deep breath, fingers twitching in preparation.
Teruki Hanazawa realized that maybe that wasn't the smartest choice of words on his part. His eyes, once again, became wide and more desperate, excited giggles began falling from his lips.
“Wait, wait, wait! I take it back. I swear that I- AH!”

theres a certain power in reblogging shit that you know (or suspect) is fandom content and not knowing a goddamn thing about the source material. I wonder how many things I've posted that were fandom things and I didn't know and had no interest in I just liked the pretty picture LOL

🥺🤡
yaaay, thank you caro! fanfic writer emoji ask!
🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels? - (not... quite the answer to this question but i don't think my writing style applies here so i'll just pick specific examples i like xP) i love interpersonal tension so much, i love writing all brands of it, from active arguments to awkward conversations to everything inbetween :'D but if i had to pick favorite "sad conversation"s, i love the serizawa scene at the end of act 1 of tttaac, i remember, as i wrote that part, considering it a mini few-act-tragedy all on its own, the awkward hesitance with mob, the texts from tome, the bits where he's alone with reigen and ritsu... very very fun. i love writing characters who have history and a lot of weight to when they interact with eachother, and you can tell in tttaac xD (on that note: the garage scene in tttaac, the argument between dimple and mob, was one of the first scenes fig and i ever came up with for this fic, one we wanted to write from the very beginning. not only is dimple fig's favorite character and mob mine, but we both love their relationship so much, it's very important to us both (both in a 'well written and beautiful character dynamic in a piece of fiction' way and a 'show of our friendship too' way) and a biiig crux of this fic. we loved destroying eachother emotionally with tttaac but especially with everything about dimple and mob - i wrote the garage scene and then fig got back at me by adding the videos. sniffles sadly)
🤡 What’s a line, scene, or exchange you’ve written that made you laugh? - OH BOY. i love injecting little bits of silly into my mp100 fics in particular, because the show itself is very silly and it doesn't really feel like mp100 anymore if its not. in crowfic, sammi and i went back and forth figuring out increasingly sillier ways to describe teru's wig, and we also wanted banter between ritsu and mogami to feel appropriately lighthearted to show mogami wedging his fingers in. i also have to express. one of my favorite running gags in my and sammi's fics that i will never shut up about because i think it's entirely too funny. and i express it because i encourage everyone reading this to continue the bit: the baby episode the baby episode began as a joke in tttaac, a one-off line in the social media segment here (fun fact about this scene, the usernames are all pulled from usernames in various social media cutaways in canon):
Tumblr media
this was, out of universe, inspired by the fact that, to get a feel for "how subreddits for big longrunning reality tv talk shows talk", i went on the dr phil subreddit and found the only posts on it recently were a bot crossposting videos from the dr phil youtube channel and one guy asking about, quote, "the infantilism episode"
and i cracked myself up at my own joke. i don't know why i was so tickled by the string of words "supernatural detective baby episode", but i was. tttaac is a very heavy and miserable fic so we find spots of humor wherever we can, and i was just... so amused by the mental image of someone reading this fic and thinking, "what the fuck is the baby episode of supernatural detective" but of course our in-universe commenter does not elaborate. they know about the baby episode. this is a long-running subreddit for a show they're all superfans of, everyone knows about the baby episode. but you, the reader, seeing only a glimpse into these people's lives, do not. the conversation moves on. the fic moves on. the times a change. you cannot ask u/YUJIHAIZINOO what they mean by "the baby episode".
i don't remember how this part came to be, but as time went on, the baby episode became an injoke with my friends, and when sammi and i wrote ch4 of crowfic (which was published before tttaac but written long after the baby episode bit), we (sammi, specifically, who wrote this part,) decided to continue the gag. a piece of our cinematic universe
Tumblr media
now, this creates a world of implications. for starters, tttaac takes place in 2022-2023, and crowfic takes place in 2012. the baby episode has now been also described as "weird", existing in 2012, and, most importantly, potentially being lost media.
i don't know why this stupid gag has affected us so much but it has. and i beseech everyone reading this who writes mob psycho fanfiction: somehow, someway, please insert the supernatural detective baby episode into your text. please reference it in some manner no matter how small. i want the bit to go on. i need it to grow, like a wound. i want to eventually convince people reading mob psycho fanfiction that this is a canon event they just forgot about.
the rules to the supernatural detective baby episode go as follows: you cannot describe its contents in any way, shape, or form, you can only allude to its existence and optionally that it is, quote, "weird". it may or may not be lost media, as it's possible reigen is misremembering. it exists in 2012 and is likely even older than that.
Now go forth. Spread the Supernatural Detective baby episode wide and far.
