i think about these mfs so damn much. OKAY!!! i will just talk about the Toxic Yuri that is Captain 3 and Neo Agent 3 (Or as henceforth referred too as San and Mittsu)

When San first started helping as Agent 3, she only knew Mittsu as this annoying Octo Sniper that would always splat her. Day in and Day out she would get got by that same sonnabitch. It honestly pushed him to get better as an Agent until one day, she finally splatted Mittsu. What first started as a simple enemy grew to become a full on Rivalry. Some how if they were on the same stage they would find each other and would not STOP until one of them was "DEAD". It only got worse after San rescued the Great Zapfish, becoming more and more intense.

That is until one day, where San just never saw her again. Since he never spoke octoling he obviously could just go up to someone and ask, so he just kinda stewed with it.

SO what happened to Mittsu, you must be asking yourself. Well she was on a helicopter ride outside of octo territory when something broke. She was barely able to super jump out of the falling machinery, and when she finally came too, she was long far away from where she knew. Slowly but surely she made her way to civilization (the Splatlands), picking up Little Buddy on the way. There, with no money or means to get home, she was forced to start working her way up and saving money.

Its not till the time of Splat 3 that the two reunite, less angry, more knowledgeable. The two recognize each other, but do not call it out. They do not attempt to reminisce, they do not try to catch up, until Mittsu realizes something. Agent 8 (Hachi), someone San help escape the underground and recover some of their memories, was their long lost sibling (Hachi transitioned between the time Mittsu last saw them and now).

This event makes them both something. They aren't crazy scary battle hungry kids anymore. They're adults, with families, with friends, and together they know each other better than anyone else could.
