OSI 20M TS
The  car developed by Ghia for Ford would be called the OSI 20M TS, or alternatively the OSI-Ford 20M TS or the Ford OSI 20M TS.It was a handsome coupe thanks to the design work of Sergio Sartorelli – also the stylist of the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, the Fiat 2300 S Coupe, the Fiat 126, and a range of other cars. The car was produced in two key versions, both with essentially identical bodies. The key difference was the 2.0 Ford V6 fitted to earlier cars and the 2.3 liter V6 fitted to later cars. From an engineering perspective the cars were relatively standard for the era, with a steel unibody inner shell, MacPherson strut front suspension, a live rear axle on leaf springs, front disc brakes, and rear drums. The elegant design of the 20M TS is still winning it fans today, few people who see them can identify them due to their rarity, and there’s a committed enthusiast base in Europe who find and restore them. The OSI 20M TS was only produced in 1967 and 1968, some say 2,000 were made, others say 2,200, and some even say 3,500. The one thing that all agree on is that there are 200 or fewer remaining today.

Ford OSI 20m TS Spider, 1967. A short wheelbase convertible version of the OSI Ford Taunus 20M TS Coupe was presented at the 1967 Turin Motor Show. The car was “production ready” but Officine Stampaggi Industriali was going out of business and it went no further, the prototype remained a one-off.

One owner: 1968 OSI 20M TS
It’s been a while since we last featured this model, but not because we don’t consider it worthy. On the contrary, it’s because there are few of them around, and even fewer in this condition. It’s an OSI 20M TS, built by the Turin-based OSI (which stands for ‘Officine Stampaggi Industriali’), a company that, until a few years ago, didn’t manufacture cars but rather produced sheet metal for…

1 Of 200 Remaining: An OSI 20M TS
1 Of 200 Remaining: An OSI 20M TS
The OSI 20M TS is arguably one of the best looking “affordable” Italian-built coupes of its time. It’s believed that just 2,000 or so were made and that just 200 now remain. Sometimes referred to as the OSI-Ford 20M TS, this car has the reliable V6 underpinnings of the Ford Taurus 20M. It’s clothed in a body styled by the great Sergio Sartorelli and two versions were built – the earlier 2.0 liter…

OSI-Ford 20 M TS
The OSI-Ford 20 M TS is a coupe produced by the Italian car manufacturer Officine Stampaggi Industriali (abbreviated OSI).
Sergio Sartorelli, who also designed the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34, was responsible for the design in 1965. The vehicle was technically based on the Ford 20M and was manufactured between 1967 and 1968. There were 870 cars with two-liter V6 engine and 409 with 2.3-liter V6 at prices of 14,900 DM and 15,200 DM admitted in Germany. In 1968 OSI went into bankruptcy. It appeared at the 1967 Paris Salon a convertible version of the OSI Ford, which remained a unique piece.

(Ford OSI 20m TS 2.0 2.3 Edelstahl-Frontgrill Neu)
OSI 20M TS 2.0 and 2.3 front grill is copied from the original in shape, size and is perfectly comparable to the original front grill
OSI 20M TS 2.0 and 2.3 front grill is made from 304 stainless steel (it never rust, even at different temperatures), After OSI 20M TS 2.0 and 2.3 front grill is finished, it is polished to high gloss. It looks like chrome.
More than that, we always want to work towards developing more new models. So we are searching for samples from any customers who can cooperate with us to expand some kinds of products in stainless steel, rubber, steel, aluminum, copper, chrome such as bumpers, trims, plate number frames, parts of classic cars, modern cars, stainless steel tools for high-class bathrooms, stainless steel parts for high-end tables and chairs.

OSI 20M TS 2.3
This 1968 OSI 20M TS 2.3 was purchased out of Italy by the seller 11 years ago. These models were produced for a short time in 1967-1968 as a result of collaboration between Ford Europe and Italian coachbuilder Ghia. This car features the later, more powerful 108 horsepower 2.3L OHV V6 that is original to the car. Based on the Ford Taunus platform, all OSI cars were built at Ghia’s Torino, Italy design studio. Ford supplied Ghia with the chassis and “Cologne V6” drivetrain, and would receive completed cars back within a few weeks. Ghia’s production wing was called Officine Stampaggi Industriale – OSI for short. The design is unmistakable, set off by the unique fastback styling with louvered quarters.

Red machine: 1968 OSI 20M TS Coupé
Red machine: 1968 OSI 20M TS Coupé
We don’t know if this particular red tone is the original color of this car, but it sure suits it. It is actually difficult to know anything related to this small coupe series built in Turin based on the German Ford Taunus. in fact few have been built and the documentation on these models is very scarce, fortunately there is someone, like the editor of osi20mts.com who has taken care of sharing…

Rare Rides: The 1967 OSI 20 M TS – a Stylish Ghia and Ford
Today’s Rare Ride is part Belgian, part Italian, and almost unheard of. It’s an OSI-Ford 20M TS sports coupe from 1967. First, a short history on the short-lived auto maker that was OSI. The name was an acronym for Officine Stampaggi Industriali, which translates in English to the romantic sounding “Industrial Stamping Workshops.” The company […]
