Millie looks so shocked and has to get Princesse to repeat it before it gets spread all over the team in maybe an hour and suddenly Pernille and Magda are getting teased everywhere they go and Princesse is no closer to understanding why they were naked wrestling in the first place

I adore the whole broccoli saga, just the look Magda gives the camera when pernille says she is doing a lot in the kitchen and Magda’s has like 3 pans going at the same time, also the whole “surprised chef” insta story when pernille is actually cooking and making a mess. I don’t know what is about them but I just love them so much

The funniest thing about that one was the pain in magdas voice when she saw the mess p had made of her kitchen 😅

The Saga of Billy Phone

After my oh so graceful fall in the gator lake on sunday I noticed that my phone was suddenly not charging. For the past few days i have been using my old shattered screen phone (his name is biggie smalls) just to be on wifi and check messages and tumblr. No cell service on that and i couldn't even switch my sim to it because it hates me. So. Just basic use. Today i called out so i could get Billy repaired and they told me 'yeah just leave it and I'll do a free diagnostic, call you in an hour'.

I took my mom to lunch (oh god it was soooo good. Pernil with maduros and white rice and black beans...stuffffffed but worth it.) while we waited. No call back so i stopped in on the way home and he gave me the sad news that he couldn't get it to charge and replacing the charge port (only 65 bucks) was risky because this model of phone can only be opened by heating the glass and peeling it back. There is a 50/50 shot the glass will crack and then i would need to replace it at 125 bucks. And also no guarantee replacing the port would even work.

I legit can buy a new phone for the price he would charge to MAYBE repair Billy. I said no and drove to my wireless carrier, slapped my phone down and said "i want this model". But its a discontinued model and the most comparable is not at all what i want. Too skinny and long, not at all comfy in the hand and way too small of a keyboard. And it would cost me about 200 all said and done.

I pulled out my credit card and gave a deep sigh of regret. Let me be clear. I love Billy. I did not want to give him up. Not especially for a device i would hate enough to not even name. As i was sighing i turned on my phone and glanced at the charge left on it to make sure there was enough to transfer my content and it read 47 percent.

This morning it was at 30. So just for shits i asked the rep to plug it in and wouldn't you know...BILLY STARTED CHARGING!

I bought a new cord (even tho all 3 of my cords did not work) and a new tempered glass and walked out of the store on 54 bucks poorer. I am happily charging my boy now. Crisis averted y'all. Crisis. Averted.

Well I'm not that sure this anon bothered to do proper research. The details are missing in the ask and words are twisted into a wrongly assumed narrative. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to lost in google translation.

Both in the Danish interview with Pernille, and per Magda's own words in the video interview linked below around 8 minutes in, it's evident how the process of designing the 8 armbands was. The players made Fifa have an active strategy regarding the captain's armband where it's linked to charity organisations. It'll happen things around the games that'll make a big difference for many.

It's the first time Fifa has had federations and players involved in their process. Players and federations got to say what they thought and they got to give feedback on the first draft where Fifa showed how they had thought.

Fifa did not design the 8 armbands on their own. They listened to the critique after Qatar and co-operated with federations and players, so the players have the opportunity to express their values without the risk of sanctions against them, the team or the federation. Furthermore, there are no restrictions outside of the actual games. Players are free to express their opinions freely on whatever subject they want to adress Lgbtqi+ included.

They reached a compromise which Magda (and Mandy when asked) can get behind. The armband with similar colours as the One Love-model has the message United for inclusion. The armband with the message Equality on it looks different.

Fifa doesn't forbid rainbow colours per se, as similar colours from the One Love-armband are on the United for inclusion-model. They forbid armbands which are not Fifa's own. And that is what Swedish media has reported about. They did the research.

Also, why argue for the sake of arguing? It's good this came to be and way better than nothing. Especially in the light of the charity work around the games connected with the 8 armbands.

What people should aim their focus at is how the allocated Fifa prize money will reach the players and not disappear somewhere on the way in federations that have questionable morales in countries where corruption isn't taken so seriously.

The prize money I will give Fifa that is brilliant improvement. Especially considering a lot of teams that's the only prize money they're going to get
