Okay, I said to myself.  Less than 48 hours before BFA launches, and I can claim one last Valarjar paragon cache while it’s current content.  Maybe I’ll finally get the storm drake mount.

And I got yet another useless offspec legendary.

After I cleared heroic Antorus, a quest told me to show Illidan’s message crystal to Malfurion and Tyrande.  Being a mage, I smugly teleported directly to Darnassus...only to learn that I needed a different Malfurion and Tyrande.  The ones in Val’sharah, to be exact.  Oops.

It’s kind of become a tradition for me to splurge on a special mount as a treat to myself at the end of an expansion.  In Cataclysm I bought the Sandstone Drake, in WoD I bought a moose run, and in Legion I finally shelled out the gold to buy the Grand Expedition Yak.

I’ve had the vendor mammoth for years, so the ability to sell junk anywhere isn’t new, but I just couldn’t face another leveling cycle without the ability to transmog in the field.  

I’m not super picky about how I look while leveling my main, except for my helm.  There are only like three helm models in the game that I can tolerate on her (including the hood she’s wearing in the screenshots).  I do enjoy seeing the new armor models and building new outfits around the pieces I pick up, but sometimes things just clash and need a little tweaking.  It also lessens the chance that I’ll end up looking awful in a cutscene.  ;)

Tyrande:  “In my lifetime, I have twice witnessed a sundering of the world.  Mother Moon, I pray I do not see a third.”

The Sundering was obviously the first, but does she mean the Cataclysm or Sargeras poking Silithus like a cocktail weiner as the second time?  Because based on the context (before delivering Illidan’s final message, just after the incident with Sargeras’ sword) I assume she means that, but dang, the Cataclysm should count, too!  I’d argue that was a bigger deal than what happened in Silithus, (although if Magni hadn’t used our Artifacts to contain the threat, things might have been different.)  Still, give Deathwing credit for one spectacular mess.  :P

(And if you think I’m going to crop my Violet Spellwing out of the shot after finally getting it, you’re wrong.  Heehee.)

Just when I figure I must have all the mage legendaries, another one pops up.  I should look it up to see which ones I still need, but I have the best ones for my main spec so I really don’t care.  They just take up bag space at this point.  LOL

I ran into a very weird glitch during a Timewalking run of Magister’s Terrace.  There were these freaking gigantic ghost swords following us around.  It was distracting and made it hard to see what was going on.  Even stranger, not everyone in the group could see them.  I could, and at least one other person could, but two others didn’t see anything.

I recently discovered a shortcut for a world quest in Azsuna!  It’s the one where you have to rally (buff) the Nightwatchers who are fighting naga near Farondis’ headquarters.

Since the beginning I’ve been doing it the hard way, fighting my way through the gardens to rally each NPC individually.  If you go over by the building where the Court of Farondis quartermaster and the other quest givers are, however, there are regiments of Nightwatchers wandering around in formation.  Aim the “rallying” ability at a group of them, and boom!  Done.
