WANT TO SAVE AMERICA?

Fine then. Go to your local park and pick up litter. Get a library card, donate books if you can. Join a community chess club. If you can, start one. Print zines and spread them around town. Host a music concert in your backyard. Teach free classes in whatever you're good at. Take free classes in whatever you want to learn. Support local businesses. Go to a coffee shop poetry night. Talk to your neighbors. Buy from a farmers market.

Want to do more? Run for your library board. Start an "Anti-Littering League". Find a local political issue, spread petitions, raise awareness. Start new traditions, or continue old ones.

The point us, political extremists want you to think that only IDEOLOGIES and REVOLUTIONS will save this country. Billionaires want you to think that only TECHNOLOGIES and MONOPOLIES will do. Influencers will have you believe that if only we shouted louder on the internet, everything will be fixed. They are all wrong. What we need, most of all, is community. Once community breaks down, everything else falls down with it. The more disengaged we are- from bad urban design, from the scourge of the internet, from the epidemic of loneliness- the easier it is to become radicalized.

So. Take a deep breath. Pick up a trash bag. Go to your local park, and pick up some litter.

Getting older has literally forced our bodies to start eating clean. If it ain't fresh and free of preservetatives we are literally dying the next day. It sucks that the people who produce/sell these foods are basically feeding the country poison.

With that being said, buy from local farmers, or grow your own, your community and body will thank you.

In early 2020 in the midst of the covid lockdowns, blue states run by leftist governors pursued mandates with extreme prejudice. In red states like Montana, after the first month or two most of us simply ignored the restrictions and went on with life as usual. It was clear that covid was not the threat federal authorities made it out to be. However, in states like Michigan the vice was squeezed tighter and tighter under the direction of shady leaders like Gretchen Whitmer.

Whitmer used covid as an opportunity to institute some bizarre limitations on the public, including a mandate barring larger stores from selling seeds and garden supplies to customers. “If you’re not buying food or medicine or other essential items, you should not be going to the store,” Whitmer said when announcing her order. The leftist governor was fine with purchases of lottery tickets and liquor, but not gardening tools and seeds.....

Being vegan I think is one of those things (like having sex) that makes sense for a human au of an angel but not their canon existence. I’ve definitely made a post about how canon lucifer is virgin but human lucifer is a slut because of the way their respective scale and experience in the world affects how their Issues™ present themselves and the same thing applies to not eating meat. If you apply lucifer’s vaguely ecoterrorist views (an important part of his character) to a human it definitely makes sense for them to be vegan or vegetarian! But if canon lucifer wants to make a change in factory farming he’s not going to change his consumer habits he’s going to flatten the building. Hence, killing things with his teeth.
