You come home from work, but you don't see Erwin at home. The kids are not home as well, and Erwin isn't picking up your calls. What do you think is happening???

If I've had a particularly rough day at work, I'll probably have a meltdown right at the door because they're all I need to be around at that moment. I'll manically pace through all the rooms with the phone glued to my ears. You and Levi will be receiving a couple calls too, asking about my absconding husband's whereabouts lol.

Erwin will have a few very angry voicemails, followed by some desperate and teary ones :( [he plays them loudly later that night just to see me get red with embarrassment]

THE WORST comes to my mind and I'm freaking out. Someone kidnapped my giant husband and our minions. Something happened to the kids so they are all at the hospital. Thanos snapped his fingers and my family is now dust. The absolute worst.

Erwin being Erwin, had only gone for his evening run followed by a grocery round. He couldn't leave the bebes alone in the house. So, he took them along.

And now he's standing in the doorway with three children and a weepy koala bear of a wife with grocery bags in his hands wondering what tf even happened!

If I had a normal day at work, its all good. I am capable of rationalizing the situation. He did mention we were out of coffee and creamer this morning. Even the toiletries needed stocking up.

If he isn't picking up the phone, I assume its because he's either carrying Aria, or groceries, or both. I do leave him a voicemail just to make sure he's alright or if he wants me to come pick them up from the store, its just not as angry and frantic as the other scenario lol.

I scold him a little when he gets home though. Either drop me a text, or leave a note on the fridge about where you're going, Sir. I don't want to be thinking that my entire family got kidnapped and now my life is an action movie because I suddenly have been entrusted with the responsibility to rescue them :')

COLLEGE ROMANCE CONTINUES

Levi hears you complaining about Statistics from a distance and FORCES… no, THREATENS Erwin to offer you tutoring. Erwin, the dutiful friend does as asked.

wELL thanks to all of you I finally manage to pass my statistics 🥺🥺and yes!!! Spending our after school hours in the library and getting dinner afterwards is the core of our study dates. Erwin fears something will happen every time you and Levi squabble, but I know better than to step in because Levi finally 'met his match' 😂

And of course... Levi dorm is in the opposite direction of mine but he still insists on walking me back every night and making sure I step inside before he walks back to his 🥺

Sometimes Levi stays over in mine because he can't stand it when you are in Erwin's room, because Levi doesn't like sharing his space with other people HAHA. He sometimes tells me he's lazy to walk all the way back, but I know it's because he wants to give you two some privacy :p

Hello Rei!! Yes, I’m sending you my self-ship Sunday responses on Monday. Yes, 6 days in advance. Yes, you can see how excited I get for this and I have no regrets :P Anyway, here are your answers!! This one’s a long boi.

2. What happened the first time you both slow danced?

-> Pretty sure I almost fainted from how giddy I felt! I was just goofing around while Erwin was trying to read (I’m a bit of a menace) – giving him a dramatic performance of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Celine Dion while he patiently tried to concentrate on his novel. Since I wasn’t getting the attention I so-desperately craved, I was about to plop down on the couch beside him after the song ended. But just then, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ by Frank Sinatra began playing.

Now, let me tell you, Erwin is good at most things. But the man can’t sing to save his life. And he casually kept his book aside and began to sing along in this God-awful non-tune that had me in splits. And within a flash, he was off the couch and had swooped me into a dance while I was still wheezing into his chest from how hard I was laughing. And he waltzed around the living room with me, continuing to sing nonchalantly as if he’s Sinatra himself. But the laughter died down eventually and before we knew it, we were seven songs in, glued to each other, and quietly swaying together in perfect harmony.

3. Were there any embarrassing episodes that happened during a slow dance with Erwin?

-> Well, I’m good with casual dancing. But I had to learn ballroom dancing for a black-tie event I was to attend with Erwin. He had never trained for it either. But 10 minutes of Youtube tutorials somehow turned him into a professional while I was still struggling pretty bad. I kept looking down at our feet while dancing because I was terrified that he was gonna step on my toes. And given how tiny I am compared to him, my fear of a broken toe was justified, okay?

He got irritated because I’d never learn if I kept looking down and was attempting to lift my face to face his own. And I got annoyed with his constant instructions, and lifted my head up at full speed. Neither of us have no memory of what happened, but my head hit his nose at break-nose speed (haha, get it?), and the next thing we realized was that blood was flowing out of it like the fucking Niagra.

So, I had to drive him to the hospital in the middle of the night, two days before the event, to get it patched. We attended the party with a giant bandage on his face as he made all attendees aware of how I was responsible for his look for the night. Ugh, he still gives me an earful about it sometimes.

Now, time for my questions for you! Just asking 2 this time since I know they're going to have loooong answers!

Have you two met each other’s families yet? How did the first meeting go?

What was your family’s first impression of Levi? And what is it today?

Levi: Oh. You're back.

Levi: Oi. Haven't we already answered this question?

Levi: ... well fine. Nothing unexpected though. Her dad hated me, her mum liked me. End of story. At least it's better now since we've been together for a few years already.

Rei: Initially my parents couldn't accept the fact that I wasn't dating someone Chinese, or at least Asian, but who gives a heck about it? Levi and I are going to have beautiful mixed blood babies and I don't even care about anything else.

Levi: Oi, brat, shut up.

Rei: What? I'm not wrong. Our kids are going to be gorgeous. Our daughter will have your eyes. I just know it.

Rei: I was so worried that Aunty Kuchel wouldn't like me, but she was so sweet and lovely!! She even joked with me and asked me what did I see in Levi that made me fall in love with him, hahaha.

Levi: He said she was a midget being in a relationship with another midget. Tch.

Rei: No offense Levi, but yeah. You know my parents had issues about your height. Pffft.

Levi: ... Whatever. My first meeting with Rei's parents were so weird. She told her mum about me, and her mum said she would keep it a secret from her dad.

Levi: A few weeks later, we were sitting by the stairs near her house when the lift door opened and her dad walked out of the lift while we were hugging. He told Rei that he would keep it a secret from her mum. But we did have a proper meeting. It was a dinner session.

Rei: The amount of mind blowing and deception though. It's funny. Thankfully my first meeting with Aunty Kuchel turned out well too.

Rei: It's really funny!!! It was my first time over at Levi's house, and uhhh, I came out of the toilet and I nearly walked into Aunty Kuchel. And then we just silently stared at each other for a while until she went, "Oh, so you're my son's girlfriend!"

Heellooo! Human and Puppy Smiths are all doing great! What about the Kirsteins?

Yes, we have a Corgi and a Golden Retriever named Cappuccino and Albus. Cappy is Albus' annoying, mean little brother. But Albus only sees the good in him and they're inseparable!

We walk them multiple times a day! Erwin is usually out and about at the crack of dawn and takes Albus with him on his morning run. Cappy, who is very much like me, is neither a morning pupper, nor a runner.

There have been multiple instances when he decided to plop on to the ground because he got tired (about 10 minutes into the run) and Erwin had to carry him home. His chonky little legs were not made for running :') So, I take him for his morning business when I wake up a couple hours later.

The whole family is heads out together in the evenings when we're both finished with work. We take a nice, leisurely walk around the neighborhood and mingle with our neighbors.

We bump into @flamingblinglove and Levi almost every evening while they too are walking their dogs! Renee, Pierre, Leon, Theo, Isaac and Ari have a blast paying with the five enthusiastic pets! (its a mini party every day!)

Miche and Nana did remind us of the block party! I hope you and Jean are coming tooo! Rei and Levi RSVPed, and I know @sckerman and Armin are coming too. I'm not giving @charlotteplsdosth and Reiner an option to drop out of this one!

Also yes back to the actual topic: headcanons!!

Back when you two were students, you would frequently see Erwin studying in the library, and you thought to yourself "god he's so hot I wish he can vet my homework." as you kept staring at Erwin.

Your little stares weren't missed by Erwin of course, because a grumpy guy with black hair sitting opposite him kept whispering "oi, that girl over there has been staring at you for ages," to him, and Erwin couldn't help it but turn to where his friend was pointing, only to be charmed by you instead.

He walked over and introduced himself, and upon looking at your notes, he realised that you two were taking the same major. And guess who really did vet your homework for you....

Tl;dr, you and Erwin would have cute library study dates FOR SURE.

Erwin always hassss.. Our jug of cold brew for the week, organic spring mix with mason jars of different dressings, at least one avocado, a few different types of cheese, smoked prosciutto slices, way too many fresh vegetables. I sneak the occasional slice of pizza or take-out from Panda express in there from time to time lol.

I don't think he despises any movie genre as such. But he isn't a fan of watching movies heavy on melancholia. He doesn't like how they make him feel low for the rest of the day

+ Historical movies that twist facts to create drama, or sci-fi movies that totally disregard physics are his pet peeves :P he complains to the point where other movie watchers have to shush him :(

I'd think our spicy Hange would love Jalapenos on their pizza? It better not be pineapples. Because we're getting separate orders otherwise.

Mor college au hcs just because.... 😍😍 imagine if we were roomies and Erwin and Levi are also roomies. Fast forward to a few months after we started dating, we're having ideas of switching dorms 👀

Erwin kicks Levi out of their dorm and helps you move all your stuff into his because his dorms is nearing to the engineering block where you all are studying. Erwin's 'glad' to kick Levi out because a) Levi nags too much, and b) Levi always does work at night and the lights keep Erwin up. Erwin loves having you over at his dorm because you sleep for 8hrs and so does he. He also appreciates the healthier meals you prepare, especially Indian food and curries, although he can't really take spice hehe 🤭

Levi is also glad to move into my dorm because he can't stand Erwin's snores and sleep talking. Also, he loves the fact that I have food all around the house. Erwin and him are used to buying takeout all the time, and he's used to feeling hungry when he's studying in the middle of the night. But with me around, he always has freshly cooked meals to eat, and a late night snack ready when he needs it. Also, not a good thing but, I'm also a night owl, and now he doesn't have to worry about someone complaining that the lights are too bright 😂

Erwin's kicking Levi out? Oops, I'll keep the first aid kit handy😂

Also, poor blondie is going to be in for a shocker. I nag too hahahaha. There's no winning for him lol. Something that's totally new for him is the amount of long, wavy black hair that he finds everywhere now X) On his desk, in his bag, in the shower, on the floor, his clothes, and even his own head 🤭 It baffles him, the places my hair manages to get to!

He was mortified after Levi plucked one out of his stubble during class HAHAH! He's so close to buying a lint roller like people have for their pets 🙄

Erwin and I are both early risers when it comes to studying. So that's something we'd match on. But, I gotta go to bed by 10 PM if I have to wake up at 6. Erwin doesn't sleep enough. But I'll get him to :3 A minimum 8-hour sleep is a must in the Smith-Dorm now! We both introduce discipline in each other's lives in different ways haha!

.... I'd guess this is where him getting used to eating spicy meals would fall in our life's timeline hahahah! My mum sends 'dubba' sometimes that I share with Erwin and he's a sweaty mess because of how spicy he finds her cooking.

I cook him less spicy food so that his stomach doesn't entirely give up on him, and to slowly build his chili threshold :P He absolutely loves the flavor profiles though! Even our go-to cuisine to eat at restaurants is slowly becoming Indian. My parents will be proud!

Ay! Tell Levi that I find Erwin's deafening snores, rather cute. I can't fall asleep without them anymore. A strange lullaby.

And I'm sorry ugh, he pretty much survived on protein bars and coffee before I moved in. And like Levi, I too prefer fresh food over the stuff that comes from packets :') If you two visit anytime now, there'll be some edible food in the fridge :P

Well I obviously have more hcs for my favourite couple so moving on: GROCERY TRIPS. Erwin's in charge of getting everything from the shelves that's too tall for you to reach. He loves doing it for you anyway; reaching for things that are too high up, carrying all those grocery bags, holding the basket or pushing the trolley... Erwin doesn't comment much on whatever you put into the trolley, he doesn't tell you which type of cheese you should get, which variety of apples you should buy, or if you should get Greek yoghurt instead of normal plain yoghurt because it's healthier. He doesn't object to you or the kids putting snacks and chocolate inside the trolley even though there's already tons of them at home. Somehow, Erwin gains a lot of attention when you all are out. Is it because of his height, or is it because of how manly he looks carrying all those grocery bags like it doesn't even weigh much? Whenever you see women looking at him though, you have one arm around his waist, and then while they were still watching you two... you proceed to squeeze Erwin's butt.

Hopping on to our latest conversation... 🎑 🌕 🥮

The Smiths come over to the Ackerman's household for some mid-autumn fun. Levi and I already have all the mooncakes and tea prepared! Renée is so happy to see her Theodore gege again, and your kiddos are so excited to see Charlotte too. She can't recognise faces yet, but at least she isn't crying when she hears so much noises!!!

Renée immediately tells Theodore and Isaac to try the strawberry flavoured snow skin mooncake she's eating, and they liked it! Isaac asks Levi what's the mooncake with the yellow thing in the middle, and Levi tells him it's salted egg yolk. Erwin tried one and he says it's an... exotic flavour, to which Levi rolls his eyes.

We got some little piglet mooncakes for your kids too, and they loved how cute they look! Aria thought they were real piglets 😂 Pierre and Léon eats the ice cream mooncake with glee and Aria wants to try some too.

We all gather at our backyard and have our food on the table we prepared! The moon is gorgeous, and the sky is really clear too. Renée and your boys are having fun running around with paper lanterns in their hands!! And as per tradition, Levi also came up with some riddles for the kids to answer too; the one who answers correctly gets piglet mooncakes again!!

Once the kids are tired, they join us at the table while we talk and drink tea. I start sharing to your boys about the origin of mid-autumn festival, and how it's being celebrated in the other parts of Asia. They're amazed, and said they want to eat mooncakes again next year.

Mid-autumn is a time for reunions, and Levi and I are so glad to have you and Erwin and your beautiful children to celebrate with us 🧡

Of course we'll bring you to have some Hainanese chicken rice first, you can't not have it when you're here. Levi and I will get you both some amazing sugarcane juice too.

Once we all had our fill, we'll go shopping at Orchard Road!! Maybe we get our husbands to buy us a new handbag while we're there. Then we can make our way to Gardens By the Bay to look at the lovely flora and fauna!! We can take a walk in the Flower Dome, and visit the Cloud Forest too. We can even go to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel nearby for some high tea!!

What kind of hosts would we be if Levi and I didn't invite you over to our place for dinner? The Ackerman juniors love their Uncle Erwy and Aunty Mia so so much! Renée literally flies into Erwin's arms when she sees him, and the twins have their cute smiles on when you and Erwin visit.

It's funny how Erwin still can't properly tell the difference between the twins (and Levi's at the back frowning), but Levi still trusts Erwin to carry the boys in his arms. Our dinner table seemed a little cramped tonight, yet all our hearts are filled.

Levi and I would prepare loads of dishes for you two such as curry chicken with a nice plate of sliced baguette. We would also have some stir-fried kangkung with sambal chilli, sweet and sour pork, tomato and fried eggs, and most importantly, steaming hot rice 🥰

With our bellies filled, it's finally time to say goodbye. The twins were asleep by the time you two had to leave, but Renée was sulking as you two put on your shoes.

"Aunty Mia," Renée sadly said as she tugged at your blouse. "Will you bring Theodore gege and Isaac here next time?" You nodded and promised that your boys would come along, even little baby Aria too. Renée then seemed a little happier once she knew she could play with Theodore. Levi then handed over a tupperware full of curry chicken to Erwin and we all bade you two goodbye.
