Just watched the new mean girls movie and what the actual fuck was that. Sorry but it was so shit-😭 love Renee and I know for a fact she can act better than that 😔 Her singing was probably the only thing I liked about the movie as a whole tbh…

Also, you’d think considering one of their main points in the movie was about how “treating people like they’re stupid doesn’t make you smarter” they’d maybe give Karen more of a personality than just a ditsy bimbo. Istg the original mean girls Karen had more personality.

i did not like poor things, but unlike plenty of other movies that i dislike, i am still thinking about this one nearly a month later. it has lit a low-burning fire in me that only a critical youtube video essay of at least 30 minutes can extinguish

Coming back to my code after like a day or two and seeing the most disgusting thing I put in as a "well, I can't be bothered to do it right" measure...

For the record, here's what I did: I was coding the "leads" screen which shows the player what leads they can follow up on, basically like a quest marker. I wrote a basic widget that would unshift a new lead into an array, so I could display them all in reverse chronological order (newest first). Then I promptly got tired of using arrays and decided to pull some stupid bullshit. I guess I didn't want to figure out how to automatically pull the names of the items and put them into an include macro, so I wrote out an if statement that tests if the array is, say, 1 item long, and then prints an include macro with $leadlist[0]. And then I copied and pasted it an arbitrary number of times and increased the number in each if statement.

I don't know off the top of my head how to simplify this, but I know this is some absolute bullshit and why would i even bother with an array if I'm just fucking... oh my god
