Dream SMP Recap (March 30/2022) - The Good Bad Guys

Seapeekay finds a puzzling message for him beneath his house.

Tubbo steals Aimsey’s treasured daisy. When he finds out that they’ve been living in his mansion, he doesn’t take the news well.

Sam comes to Foolish with an offering and a special request.

- Seapeekay has been getting some strange feelings. He feels that this is not the first time he’s been in a place like the SMP. The more time he spends here, the more time he feels like he’s done something similar before

- He shows chat that he’s been making a little underground room under his house made of blackstone. The soul lanterns also feel quite important to him

- Foolish logs on, still lost on the Nether roof. As Foolish is running back, Ponk logs on. Foolish steals CPK’s horse. CPK and Ponk try to negotiate it back. Foolish wants J Dawg in trade

- Seapeekay runs to the summer home, threatening to destroy something of Foolish’s. Foolish gives up and offers the horse back

- The three go to the gold farm, Seapeekay and Ponk playing detective for Sam. They accuse Foolish of being the culprit. Foolish does some costume changes and gives his input on the situation with his own monocled detective outfit

- Foolish gets dangerously close to figuring out what actually happened. He suspects a chicken of being a witness

- Foolish becomes Batman, jumps off the gold farm and leaves. Sam eats a piece of steak and Ponk and Seapeekay freak out, quickly getting out of there

- Ponk goes off to work on the fun fair, leaving Seapeekay with the horse

- Seapeekay goes back down to the blackstone room only to find that a chest has appeared in the center. He opens it to find a book and quill:

i need to remember what who where why am i here why...this place? why this dimension the crowned undead the champion of champions i i must go back. The portal. It’s the only way.

- Seapeekay is puzzled. Is he supposed to build a portal in the room? He starts building an obsidian portal, but nothing happens yet. He decides to light it, but when he sets it on fire, the portal doesn’t activate. He tries a flint and steel, but it still doesn’t work

- Instead, he gets more obsidian and builds another portal elsewhere. This one lights correctly...so why didn’t the other one work?

Seapeekay: “Wait...I...I remember. I remember!”

- Later, Aimsey, Sam, Eryn and Tubbo are online. Aimsey goes up to the gold farm where Tubbo is AFK. They sneak in and start stealing XP

- Tubbo suddenly armors up and hits Aimsey off of the platform to their death. Tubbo lets Aimsey get their things back from a chest except for the daisy. He wants to keep the daisy as it seems important. Aimsey wants it back, but Tubbo doesn’t understand why

- Aimsey wants the Warden’s Watch in return, but Tubbo doesn’t want to trade

Aimsey: “It’s not that it’s important, it’s just that it’s mine.”

Tubbo: “Why do you want it so bad? There are millions of flowers. Why that one?”

Aimsey: “It’s specific attachment to specific things. Have you never been attached to something before?”

Tubbo: “Nope. Nope. Dis-attached from everything.”

Aimsey: “I find that hard to believe.”

- Aimsey asks where Tubbo even lives on here, but Tubbo doesn’t answer

- Tubbo wants to keep the watch because it’s one of a kind. Aimsey points out that it’s a bit odd that Tubbo would be the one to decide what’s important and irreplaceable and what isn’t

Aimsey: “Your dis-attachment to things is gonna ruin you.”

- Tubbo lights a fire and burns an item, but it isn’t the daisy. He’s decided to be a little bit evil. Aimsey doesn’t believe that he would actually burn the daisy, but Tubbo still doesn’t say he has it

- While they’re at it, Tubbo suggests Aimsey give him a tour of where they live. Aimsey says they live in a mansion, but Tubbo doesn’t believe someone so broke would live in one. Aimsey tells him that two people used to live there, and it was in a snowy area...

- Tubbo tells Aimsey that they are now evicted. Aimsey doesn’t buy it, as it’s not Tubbo’s place

Tubbo: “Last I checked, you’re in Snowchester? My domain? You’re evicted.”

- Tubbo says that he is keeping the daisy and runs off, Aimsey now realizing that Tubbo was one of the two previous residents. He can speak to Ran about it

- Aimsey briefly calls Ranboo, explaining what just happened. Ranboo suggests Aimsey tell Tubbo he has no right to evict them, as Ranboo was the one who paid for the mansion

- Tubbo visits the mansion and sees the changes Aimsey has made, displeased

- After getting some levels at the farm, Aimsey heads back only to run into Tubbo across the bridge branching out in front of Bee ‘n’ Boo. He tells her to wait there

- Tubbo tells Eryn that when he gives a certain signal, Eryn is to immediately activate his Ender Pearl stasis chamber to teleport him

- Tubbo then speaks to Aimsey at a distance

Tubbo: “So...let me get this straight. You let...a dead man...give you permission to move into a house that doesn’t belong to you?”

Aimsey: “I haven’t...I haven’t spoken to any dead people, but I met someone, um–”

Tubbo: “Well, who gave you permission to move in there?”

Aimsey: “Ran! He let me, it’s his place!”

Tubbo: “He is dead!”

Aimsey: (laughing) “No he’s not! Not he’s not, no he’s not.”

Tubbo: “Sir, you are nuts!”

Aimsey: “...Why would he–”

Tubbo: “You are just nuts!”

Aimsey: “How – how would he be DEAD! Why wouldn’t he say that he was dead?!”

...

Aimsey: “...So I’ve been lied to?”

Tubbo: “Yeah, yeah. Effectively, you’ve been lied to. You’ve girlbossed too close to the sun. We’ve all done it once or twice, it’s fine. It’s fine.”

Aimsey: “Death has followed me everywhere, and...I think I was just over the moon to finally have someone to talk to. Funny, you know, he’s dead, apparently. I don’t even know if I believe you–”

Tubbo: “What, you’ve got a thing for ghosts? You’re just a little tiny Angel of Death walking around, killing everything around you?”

Aimsey: “I – it’s not that I want it, I’ve just been haunted. Don’t know why, don’t know what I did in my past life to deserve it– I’m not an Angel of Death, I’m not an Angel of Death!”

Tubbo: “Then how come you’re speaking to dead people, kings?”

- Tubbo then takes his armor off, telling Aimsey to armor up. If Aimsey can kill him, he says, then they can have the daisy back. It’s either he dies or they do, but they aren’t both getting off this path alive. Aimsey is horrified, refusing to kill him

- Aimsey doesn’t put on their armor. Tubbo puts on his and steps forward, drawing his sword. Then he takes off his armor again. Instead, he says, Aimsey can just hit him once instead of killing him. Just once. Aimsey still refuses

- Tubbo throws the daisy down. Five minutes until it despawns. Aimsey throws down the rocky-talky. Aimsey’s not going to play his game. She steps forward and Tubbo backs away, holding the daisy

Aimsey: “Kill me! You say you want it so bad? Go on! I just –”

- Tubbo pushes them off the bridge and falls with them. Aimsey hits the ground and dies. Eryn activates Tubbo’s stasis pearl just in time

CANON DEATH: AIMSEY

Cause: Pushed off a bridge by Tubbo

Aimsey: “And there we go...my blood’s on your hands.”

- Eryn congratulates Tubbo on the good work. Tubbo laughs and turns to Eryn

Tubbo: “I think we might be the bad guys!”

- Admittedly, he didn’t mean to kill her. That may have crossed the line a bit. He names the daisy with an anvil. It would be bad to lose it

- He wonders if it would be rude to not make amends. After all, he has to be good as well as bad if he is to be a good bad guy. He whispers an apology to Aimsey, but Aimsey doesn’t accept it

- Tubbo goes to find a decoy daisy

- While Foolish is at the summer home, Sam approaches him

- Sam has an offer: he would like Foolish to officially start working for Awesamdude Inc., and in return Sam will pay him. As a show of good faith, Sam fills Foolish’s inventory with stacks of gold blocks

- Foolish is overjoyed that he finally has all the gold he’s needed since the start to finish the snake statue. He asks what kind of building Sam wants him to help with, and Sam wants Foolish’s assistance with the island

- Also, Sam adds, he would like his name to be written in the book. Foolish is confused at which book. Sam wants his name written in the DreamXD fanclub list. Foolish doesn’t know where the book is, but he says he can do that. Sam insists he does

- Sam also recommends Foolish upgrade the DreamXD statue with gold – that’s why Sam brought him so much. But Foolish wants to do the snake statue first. Sam leaves him to his work

- Foolish finds the book and adds Sam’s name to it. The fanclub’s full list of members now includes:

- Foolish replaces the concrete in the snake statue with gold blocks at last! He also works on adding the gold to the DreamXD statue

- Bad logs on. Foolish punches him a bit. Bad is unfazed and eats some cookies. They fight over a patch of dirt

March 29:

The server is set to hard mode (not all streams are on hard, as the change takes place part way through the day and a few issues require troubleshooting, but the official change is made.)

Ponk twitch | A get rich quick scheme goes wrong and CPK and Ponk accidentally kill an AFK Sam, then scramble to frame someone for the crime.

CPK Twitch (DSMP from start to 2:57:00) “What Da Dawg Doin” | CPK is hired to investigate Sam’s murder.

Tubbo Twitch “Making Moves” | Tubbo continues draining his new ocean monument with assistance from Sam and Ranboo.

Eryn twitch “The Dream SMP Has Been Updated” | Eryn is delighted at the new difficulty and does some raids.

Foolish twitch (Dsmp from start to 1:08:00) “Chickens can in fact fly, that's crazy.” | Foolish enjoys the new lights in Doozer HQ and collects resources.

Aimsely twitch (Dsmp starts at 57:00) “Fidgets Fun House” | Eryn shows Aimsey their work on the server and tries to convince him to join up.

BBH twitch “Who is Sam Bucket?” | Bad tries to convince Sam of the existence of Sam Bucket, and discovers Sam Bucket performing a strange ritual, but upon returning to the site all evidence has disappeared.

Fiiiirst and foremost, so sorry about taking this long.. I honestlyhaven’t been in a good place lately so writing was hard, buuut I’m gettingbetter! Thanks for the ask aaand hope you’ll be happy with this drabble! =)

It’s that time of the year again. The time where everyone remembers theones that have fallen to make the world a better place. Like my mum. I take adeep breath before opening the door to Cyprin’s and mine living room.

My friends have already arrived. May sits next to Bruno, looking likeshe wants to come up to give me a hug. Josh sits on the couch next to them witha tight smile, Eryn by his side with her girlfriend Scylla, both giving meencouraging looks. Alex, my wonderful and beautiful partner, was just by thedoor, an extended hand ready to reach for mine. I take it gladly, drawing adeep breath before looking at my friends and family.

“Hey, thank you very much for being here today.” I startreciting the words I had been replaying in my head since morning. “I-Iknow mum was not a soldier from the military, but I think that what she did wasimportant, and I wanted to honour that. Honour her and her sacrifice… I reallyappreciate you all answering my call.” I let out the last few words with abreath, pausing for a second before focusing my eyes on all the faces in frontof me.

“She is a legend at HERA, Jane. We all know that we owe her alot!” May says, with a big smile. “Besides, she raised you bff,that’s enough reason to honour her to Olympus and back!” She finishes,drawing a quiet laugh from everyone in the room, including me.

“Jane, I must say I’m kinda honoured to have been in your list. Ididn’t meet your mum, but I know that she’s the reason I can keep my bar openfor humans, gods, godlings and godly monsters.” Erynsmiles at me. “So I say, let’s go pay our respects to your mum, and drinksare on me after!”

Josh just smiles at me.

“Let’s go say hi to mum.”

The trip to the cemetery is quiet, but not sombre. Though we come fromdifferent backgrounds, we are all here to honour someone who was loved andrespected. We aren’t mourners today. We are celebrating someone’s achievements.Still, through the whole journey, Alex only let my hand go when they reallyneed to use it, speaking encouraging words all the time.

As soon as I look up to the gates, my eyes start to water. Not becauseof what we’re about to do, but because standing there in front of those doorsare a lot of people. From human colleagues from H.E.R.A, to godly monsters thatI recognise such as Medusa, Cerberus, Chimera and Hydra, to two other peoplewhose sight make me gasp. Hades and Aphrodite stand there, ahead and a littleapart from everyone else, both with a small rose in their hands and a kind andemotional smile on their lips.

Not trusting my voice at all, I nod and try to smile at all of them, asAlex guides me by the hand to take the lead. Together, our group heads towardswhere my mum rests.

As I reach in front of the simple plaque, I take a moment to gather mythoughts. The others form a semi-circle around me. Josh to my left with May athis other side, and Alex to my right, their mum and Hades next to them.

Kneeling carefully, I deposit the flowers I had arranged on top of themarble stone. Taking a deep breath, I ready myself.

“Mum… we’re all here driven by different motives. Differentfeelings, but we all have one thing in common we’d like to say to you.” Ipause, feeling tears pickle at the back of my eyes. Alex’s hand finds myshoulder and the warm pressure keeps me going. “Thank you… for everythingyou did. For all you’ve taught me. J-just, f-for e-everything. I-I love you…andI-I m-miss you.” I break at that, tears flowing freely.

So much for celebrating, I think dryly as feel more than see both Alexand Josh kneeling down beside me, hugging me in support. I’m pretty sure theireyes are shinning as well, and I feel better about my lack of emotional controlon what I wanted to be a joyous occasion.

I feel a hand on my hair and looking up I see Aphrodite smiling sadlyand proudly at me. Her beautiful face is marred by a deep, old pain as sheplaces her flower next to mine, breathing a phrase in Greek that I can’t catchthe meaning of. After her goes Alex, their free hand extending their own roseto lay next to their mother’s. I can make out the soft Greek words that theywhisper; a soft thank you and a promise to keep working hard to protect allthat she had accomplished. Their eyes lock on mine at the end, and a soft blushrises on my cheek.

Josh goes after them, then Hades. May and Bruno follow, and so does everyoneelse. Soon, my mother’s grave is covered in beautiful colours of the mostdifferent flowers, and my ears still hear the soft words spoken by everyoneexpressing their gratitude. My heart fills at the sight and I can’t help thesmile that spreads on my face.

With another quiet thank you, I rise to my feet - hand once againstfirmly on Alex’s. I glance at everyone.

“Thank you. For taking making time and coming here with us.” Isay, smiling specially at the two Top Tier Gods. Knowing how busy theirschedule is, that they came here at all is a really big deal for me.

“I wouldn’t have missed it, Jane.” Aphrodite says, coming upto me to give me a kiss on the cheek and one on Alex’s forehead. “I’mafraid we must go now. Don’t do anything we wouldn’t!” She says with asmile and a wink. Hades nods towards us with a smile before they bothdisappear.

Taking a quick breath to calm the blush from my cheeks, I turn to Eryn.“Drinks?”

She laughs and throws a punch in the air. “Follow me folks! Let usmake a few toasts to finish off this day!” With light banter and an overalllight air, everyone start to fall behind her, excited to enjoy the rest of theday loosing up. I just look at all of them, a content smile on my face.

“I have a surprise for you, love. Before we meet up with everyoneelse.” Alex says, lips forming a nervous smile as we stay behind the groupthat is quickly moving to the Boar Back - Josh being dragged by an excited May.

Curious, I follow them. I’d follow them anywhere, no questions asked.Hand gripped tightly on theirs, I start to recognise the way we’re going. The destinationis clear: H.E.R.A.. The reason, though, is less so.

“Ahm… Alex, why are we heading to the office?” I ask, notreally able to keep myself from asking - guess that’s why I’m doing well as anfield agent.

I wasn’t expecting the blush that comes to their face, though I enjoy itnonetheless (they just look so cute when that happens).

“Alex?” I ask, confused.

“I-I just want to show you something that I had made… I’m not surei-if you’ll like it or not, so I thought I’d s-show you alone…” Theyanswer, stammering a little and not meeting my eyes.

Their words make me more confused as we walk through the main doors tothe entrance hall.

“Alex, if it’s something that you did, I very much doubt I’d notlike it.” I say softly.

By my partner’s expression, they don’t seem as sure of that. I shake myhead, amused and charmed by their worry, but before I can say anything else tocalm them, we reach the elevators, and they look at me expectantly. Furrowingmy eyebrows, I look at the wall.

A gasp leaves my throat, a sting in the back of my eyes threateningtears for the umpteenth time that day.

At eyes level, in the wall between the main elevators of the entrancehall of H.E.R.A. was a golden plaque that read:

My hand came over tocover my mouth as I took a shuddering breath, eyes glued to my mum’s name.

“…I… Is it toomuch?” Alex’s voice is small, and more nervous than I ever heard it. Gods,how could they not know just how amazing and precious they are?

Shaking my head, Ireach a hand towards theirs. They grasp mine in a firm hold, offering mecomfort and reassurance through that simple touch.

“It’sperfect.” I say under my breath, but by the gentle squeeze on my hand Iknow they heard it. “Thank you, my love.” I manage to look away fromthe sign to capture their eyes with mine, trying to show the gratitude I can’texpress with words.

They smile softly,face shining with the love I know they feel for me. “It’s nothing shedoesn’t deserve a thousand times over.” They say, stepping behind me andhugging me tight against their chest and we both look forward once more.“The gods themselves made it. With materials from Olympus. It’s a memoryfrom both of the worlds that she belonged to.”

Not trusting my voicenot to crack, I simply nod - the movement making the previous unshed tearsslide down my cheeks. I take a deep breath, drawing in the comfort of Alexbehind me. Closing my eyes, I offer my mum one last, silent prayer for today.

For Alex, my favorite part of their route is 1000% the proposal, but that's not in the actual route itself so idk if it counts lmao. If it doesn't, then my favorite part is forever going to be that scene in AFK Season 2 where MC tells them that she didn't want to get in their way and Alex stops Everything to tell her that she's never in their way, that she is their way. That scene is everything to me. The reassurance in the face of doubt and danger. The fear and the heartache and the love, the knowing that they each need to be better for the other. (MC needing to communicate better with them. Alex needing to make sure that she knows she can come to them at any time for any reason.) It's just. Such an incredibly important scene.

For Medusa, my favorite part.... I think I have to go with that scene in AFK Season 3, when Medusa has been avoiding MC/keeping her out of the know and MC confronts her when it all boils over after Medusa misses their appointment with the wedding planner. Where Scylla and Eryn side with MC and reassure her that Medusa will make the right choice. And where MC goes home (to her own apartment) to find Medusa sitting in the dark, thinking she really didn't know MC anymore. They make up afterwards and work to re-establish their broken boundaries and stuff and it was just so. AUGH SO GOOD!!!! The drama, the hurt..... the apologies, not just a simple "I'm sorry I did this" but an apology through their actions and fully open communication. They make it through such a big relationship issue and it brings them closer together and they come out stronger than ever before!!!!

For Cerberus, My favorite part is 100% in ALK Season 2, when MC and Cerberus are having an argument and Cerberus summons his aura when he's sitting across the office from MC... and his aura immediately seeks MC out and gives her little aura kissies <3 Cerberus calls them back for bothering her but MC is like "They only did it because they're an extension of you and you love me" or whatever she says and she also says that she loves his dogs and it's just. So. CUTE!!!!! Even in their argument they just love each other so much. AND!!! Following said argument, Cerberus apologizes and immediately is like "I'm so sorry for calling you stupid, no one should EVER say that to you" and MC goes on to talk about how she does value herself and it's not up to anyone else to say how she values herself. Just. a very very good conversation.

(I'm starting to see a pattern in my favorites,,,, conflict resolution my beloved)

For Hydra, there's the scene in AFK Season 2 where MC gets fired and lowkey blows up at Hydra and gives up and just. Leaves. And then she meets Ladon and I always make her scream out her frustration. And then Ladon brings her to the bar (and texts Hydra at some point so he knows where she is) and then all the monsters in Eryn's bar treat MC to drinks. And she's like totally drunk by the time Hydra comes to her, and she's embarrassed of how she's acted so she doesn't really know what to say or do, and they just sit there for awhile in silence. And Hydra doesn't leave her alone for one second, and he helps her get home when she's had too much to drink and she kind of cuddles into him. It's a moment where she's in a lot of pain but Hydra stays with her through it all, and just wants her to rest and be okay. The love shines through <3

For Astraeus, it's 100% that scene in AFK Season 1 with the Alex confrontation. But in regards to scenes that actually, you know, have Astraeus..... my favorite is that scene where MC rushes to the rooftop of HERA and like throws off her shoes and rips out her hair tie and she's shouting with all of her being for Astraeus, and he comes, even when he's being actively poisoned by Earth's atmosphere. The way he immediately accepts her and whisks her away the moment she asks him to, and the unbridled joy he feels, and the aching sadness that she ever had to feel so hurt. But at the same time he sees and recognizes her power. Not to mention that KISS they share. Not to mention the scene shortly after where Selene and Helios tell MC that they're there for her, to support her and be with her because they love her, too... So so so so good. (Though I will say this scene MIGHT be tied for my fave with that scene at the end of ALK Season 2 where MC sees her mom again and she's like "Maybe I should have just let the gods replace me with Hera" bc that is Heartbreaking.)

For Hades, there's that scene in AFK Season 3 where Hades is being all self-sacrificing in a misguided attempt to protect MC and keep her safe from the other gods, and in doing so he hurts her by renouncing her as his fiancée. And when MC confronts him about it when he's in his little jail cell, he's so cold towards her that it absolutely breaks her heart and she rips off her engagement ring and throws it at him. The emotions in it are so raw and I really do understand both sides of the situation but Hades is hurting MC so much more than she would be hurting otherwise. THAT SCENE in contrast to the following scene (iirc, it's been a hot minute since I read S3) where he breaks out of his cell and talks with her for a moment and he's so gentle with her and it's so OBVIOUS that he loves her so damn much..... and then he makes her pass out and disappears and it's just. So. Painful. But so, so good.... I love it.

For Chimera, I think my favorite scene has to be in AFK Season 2 when MC and Alex meet with Prime at the Boarback and Alex has to dip out for a second so Prime is like poking and prodding at MC with mean things about Chimera and MC like SNAPS and she starts going off on Prime and Prime starts to say something and MC is like "I wasn't done talking" and she keeps going just absolutely fueled by adrenaline and the need to defend her guy <3 It's SUCH a good scene and it lives in my head rent-free. It's also really funny because she storms out of the bar after that and just leaves Alex behind without saying anything LMAO

Considering all the mini crossovers that happen in the individual stores like we have a HILF style vampire that appears in another story, and some AFK and GIL interactions, there's a few more in story crossover moments but I'm blanking on them... (sorry) I think they all take place in the same massive Lovestruck universe

This is true! Havenfall actually has quite a bit! (Especially in JD's route.. Saerys, Cyprin, Eryn, and Rory to name a few!) I'm hoping we get more crossovers like that in the future! I could see JD and Sascha causing a whole mess of trouble in WLL 🤣 - Mod Runa

Dream SMP Recap (March 29/2022) - Who is Sam Bucket?

When Seapeekay and Ponk accidentally murder Sam, Seapeekay must play it cool and evade suspicion as Sam tries to figure out who did it.

Eryn shows Aimsey the shrines he’s built on the server, and Bad grapples with his growing paranoia as Sam Bucket continues to haunt him.

Is there something deeper and darker going on behind the mysterious entity?

- Seapeekay and Ponk log on. Seapeekay wants to have a word with Ponk later. He doesn’t seem to remember going to the Egg yesterday

- Ponk and CPK meet up at the Community House. Ponk offers CPK a opportunity to gain wealth and power! Ponk tells him that Sam is currently AFK, and there are many riches to be gained!

- Ponk reminds CPK of what they did to Foolish the other day and brings him to the gold farm where Sam is currently standing on scaffolding, none the wiser to what’s about to happen

- Ponk and CPK start mining sand from the bottom to try and bring Sam down like an elevator, only for the scaffolding to break. Sam comes plummeting down to his death

- In a panic, CPK and Ponk hurry to get rid of any evidence of their meddling. Then they grab some of the gold blocks for their troubles. Ponk also gives CPK J Dawg back and in return, CPK returns Da Dawg to Ponk!

- Ponk comes up with a plan to frame Niki with her Christmas presents, but Sam already took his gift. They wonder who to frame

- Ponk tells CPK about Sam taking their arm. Sam isn’t one to be messed with. Ponk gets a Curse of Binding pumpkin stuck on their head

- They return to the gold farm and frame BadBoyHalo. With that taken care of, Ponk has to leave

- Eventually, Sam comes back. He is extremely suspicious. Someone has murdered him, but he does not think Bad would do this. CPK tries to act casual.

- Sam is almost certain that this was Ponk’s doing. CPK vouches for Ponk’s innocence and acts clueless about the gold farm

- CPK meets Sam at the gold farm. Sam gives him a bunch of gold blocks as payment for helping Sam figure out who killed him. Like a hired detective

- Ranboo logs on, oblivious. Sam is certain of who did it and will have to interrogate them himself later...

- Ranboo joins in. His theory is that Sam just fell and is trying to cover it up because he is ashamed to admit it

Ranboo: sam there is no shame in death

Ranboo: only shame in killing

Ranboo: *cough*

- Sam shows Ranboo the new gold farm and CPK goes over as well to help the spawn rates

- Later, Eryn and Aimsey meet on the Prime Path. Eryn wishes to educate him about the good people of the server

- Eryn tosses a Totem of Undying. Aimsey could have this, but it would come at a price. Everything comes at a price. He asks Aimsey what they want most in the world. What do they desire?

- Aimsey doesn’t answer. Eryn takes Aimsey to Tommy’s house, mining through the obsidian to get to the Dream shrine underneath. Eryn explains that Dream isn’t actually as bad a guy as everyone says he is

- Eryn gets Aimsey to put all their belongings in a chest and instructs them to stand at the shrine. There, Eryn says that he has the power to kill Aimsey. Why should he not? But Eryn doesn’t

- Eryn has been bored recently. He’s been alone, wandering – but whenever Dream appears, something fun happens. He doesn’t want to be like Dream, he’s not a copycat, but Dream makes things interesting. And without him, everyone is bored

Eryn: “Aimsey, I wanna scrap someone! I wanna scrap someone! I wanna – I wanna end someone, you know? And I’ve been here too goddamn long, and nothing has happened! Everyone’s just gone – they’re all just gone – they’ve recluded to their own little corners of the Earth!”

- Aimsey doesn’t understand. He’s been there for a good few days, and just because no one’s died, that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Aimsey asks what Dream even did, but Eryn doesn’t actually know him very well

- All he knows is that one time, he saw Dream face-to-face and Dream gave him one of these Totems of Undying, and then he saw his friend for the first time in ages!

- Aimsey thinks this is all a big red flag. Eryn leads Aimsey out. He has something else fun to do

- Eryn brings Aimsey to the prison and has Aimsey break a piece of obsidian on the roof. They drop down inside the prison and Eryn shows Aimsey the second shrine

Eryn: “You see that? Everywhere we go that’s exciting, where there’s some thrill to it, Aimsey, you know what’s there as well? A smile. You know what we need to do? We need to reinvent that, Aimsey, me and you. We can make this server interesting, we can shake things up, Aimsey!”

Aimsey: “Eryn, I don’t trust you as far as I can throw you. Give me one reason why I should trust you right now! Go! One reason!”

Eryn: “I can give you lots of money...and gear...”

Aimsey: “I don’t want money, I don’t want gear! That’s not what I’m after! The problem with you – you are so simple-minded that your assumption is that everybody on here just wants power. That’s not what I want! I just want –”

Eryn: “You don’t want power? Aimsey, I didn’t offer you power.”

Aimsey: “Yeah but – doesn’t that come hand in hand?”

Eryn: “No but – that’s what you want though, right? I can give you power, Aimsey!”

Aimsey: “No, it’s not – I don’t want power! I just want to belong, Eryn! I just wanna belong somewhere, and the problem is, it’s only been three days and you’re over here giving me an ultimatum and showing me smiles everywhere!”

Eryn: “I can show you how to belong. I can show you where to belong, we can belong somewhere, Aimsey.”

Aimsey: “Why me, Eryn? Why out of everyone, you’ve come to me asking to recruit for this?”

Eryn: “Because everyone else thinks this guy’s a bad guy.”

Aimsey: “And you think that I wouldn’t?! Eryn, what do you want from this?”

- Aimsey and Eryn make it out of the prison. Eryn tells Sam that Aimsey trapped him in the prison, which Aimsey denies. Sam doesn’t care about who brought who to the prison, but he makes it clear that neither of them should go near the prison again. Sam threatens to summon Sam Nook on Eryn

- Aimsey and Eryn are then approached by Sam Nook, who offers assistance to Aimsey. Aimsey gets some diamond armor and gets Sam Nook to help him start building an aquarium room for the mansion

- Later, Bad is at his mansion. He is insisting to Sam that Sam Bucket is real! Sam still doesn’t believe him and asks if Bad has spoken to Puffy yet

- Bad goes through the whole story of what happened, and Sam still thinks Bad has lost it. Bad asks Sam to stay with him for a little bit, just so that when Sam Bucket shows up, he can show Sam the truth. Sam is still incredulous

- Bad hasn’t talked with anyone else. He thought he could trust Sam since they had all their history with the prison and everything. Sam asks if Bad has had any more “apple juice,” and Bad insists that he hasn’t

- Bad says he’s sorry about how everything with the prison turned out. Sam says it’s okay, it is what it is. He’ll keep his eyes out for the magical bucket man

- Sam leaves, and Bad thinks to himself. He needs proof that Sam Bucket is real...Foolish! Foolish is a good friend, he can always talk to Foolish about this. He just needs proof

- Maybe if Bad shows Foolish that Sam Bucket blew up part of the path with TNT, he’ll believe him? No, that won’t work...Does Bad even need to be worrying about all this? Sam Bucket just unnerves him, but is he just being paranoid?

- He heads to Foolish’s summer home. Ever since all that stuff happened with the prison...maybe Sam’s right. Maybe Bad has just been stressing out over something he doesn’t need to

- But when he gets there, instead of Foolish...Sam Bucket is there, looking through Foolish’s things. Bad tries to ask what Sam Bucket is doing, but as usual, Sam Bucket isn’t much for conversation

- Bad gives Sam Bucket some buckets. He tells Sam Bucket he has a friend he wants Sam Bucket to see, but Sam Bucket refuses. Instead, Sam Bucket runs away

- Careful to not let Sam Bucket see him, Bad follows Sam Bucket down the roads. Is he heading to...Las Nevadas?

- Sam Bucket turns off the path. Bad finds a soul torch different from all the others, and – wait, was it always night? The sky suddenly turns dark

- Bad finds a dirt path in the middle of the wilderness. There’s a sign warning for danger ahead. Strewn about the path are bones and Wither skulls

- Bad slowly follows the path towards a fountain of water surrounded by pillars. The pillars have buckets hung on them. There is a circle on the ground drawn in red, and as Sam Bucket stands in the circle, he begins throwing a bucket of water on himself: the bucket Bad gave him

- Each pillar has a sign placed on it. Most of them are blank, but as Bad gets a better view, he realizes that two of the signs have names written on them in red: Bad and Foolish. The bucket on Foolish’s pillar is empty. Sam Bucket places the filled bucket on Bad’s pillar

- Bad trips, and Sam Bucket turns to see him. Bad runs for his life as Sam Bucket chases after him

- Bad makes it back to his house, shutting the door behind him. He stares out the window for any sign of Sam Bucket, but the coast seems to be clear

- He turns to see Sam Bucket behind him and screams. The screen cuts to black

- Bad comes to, still inside his house. The sky is bright outside again. Shaken up, Bad steps outside to see Sam there. He rambles to Sam about all that he has seen, but Sam is confused – the two of them were just speaking! Bad had just gone back inside

- Bad insists that he can prove it this time and leads Sam to the spot in the forest where the path was. But the path is no more. Bad walks deeper into the forest and finds the old fountain where Sam Bucket was, but nothing else is there except the fountain. The pillars are all gone

- Sam doesn’t believe Bad’s story. He thinks that Bad made the fountain

- Sam and Bad start to head back, Sam still not believing Bad. He suggests they get some cookies to eat. Then they can wait until Puffy arrives

- Bad says sorry about what happened at the prison again. Sam hands him some cookies to eat, saying they can talk about the good old days while they wait

- Thunder booms and rain falls. They continue walking down the path

Bad: “Hey...hey Sam? Sam? Who – who is Sam Bucket?”

Sam: “There’s no one named Sam Bucket...”

Bad: “Okay...Thank you Sam...thank you...”
