Okay guys I'm gonna do a breakdown of a few of my personal hcs for the main 3 of both s1 and s2!!! This includes little doodles of how I draw em differently !!!
Let's start off with Olive :3 there's a LOT under the cut.
Tumblr media
Okay, so Olive's really active, right? To me, she's always been brains AND brawn. So since she's out in the sun all the time, she has a tan!
She's also lightly scarred in my version, if you look carefully. Those were gathered out on cases. I hc that she has a LOT of battered uniforms that Otto sews/embroids together. Also, if you squint, you can see my version has light eyebags. It's not that she doesn't sleep, she's just fed up with everyone.
Her hair is messier! She comes into work all prim and proper, but leaves it all disheveled. If it's a more tiring day, she'll run her hand through her hair. Also, red hair tie instead of black, just cause I find it cuter.
Miscellaneous hcs:
- Olive is half Quebecois, half Vietnamese
- Her last name is Tremblay
- Her full name is Olivia, she just shortens it
- She's terrible at English and can't write an essay to save her life, but is very good at analysis
- She eats green skittles first, and thinks the purple ones are awful
- For their halfiversary, Otto got her an olive branch shaped tie pin that she wears whenever she feels fancy
Next up: OTTO!!
Tumblr media
The urge to change his hair was carnal in my soul. It's the Asian canon event. It happened to me, and it happened to him. Just to make things a little bit more fun for me to draw, I let his hair grow out a little bit... yknow the awkward stage after a bowl cut grows out a bit? Yeah, that.
Downturned eyes! Just so he and Olive can contrast a bit more. He's soft, she's sharp. They're silly!!!
I also make sure his mole is always at least partially visible. It's such a cool part of him, and I can't believe they cover it up most of the time in canon...
Miscellaneous hcs:
- He always has his blazer undone
- He's an excellent cook, but becomes immediately incompetent once someone is watching
- He's strangely good at identifying plants, and has a habit of picking edible ones and eating them straight from the ground
- He's good at English! Not the best, but better than Olive
- His last name is Garcia
- For their halfiversary, Olive got him a cast iron pan. He doesn't use it to cook, and instead swings it at anyone who makes fun of him or Olive
Next up: OSCAR!!!
Tumblr media
I honestly don't have much for Oscar. I love him, but don't think about him that much.
He has messier hair and is just a LOT more disheveled in general!!! Close your eyes in the bullpen at any given moment and I bet you could hear something in the lab blowing up.
He's perpetually sweaty. Damp palm guy. Maybe that's why he keeps dropping gadgets...
Miscellaneous hcs:
- He's very bad at telling the time. On vacation, he'll never know what day of the week it is
- He knows how to play the otamatone surprisingly well. He can make them talk, and has conversations with one the way one would with a sock puppet
- He never knows what significant figures to use, so he ends up just ballparking everything and just not measuring in general. Maybe that's why everything in the lab is always blowing up
- He has a full denim outfit saved up for formal occasions. I'm talking denim hat, shirt, jacket, pants, shoes, all denim
- His last name is Collins
OLYMPIA NEXT!!!!
Tumblr media
Okay so there's a lot of hearing me out you guys will need to do.
Anna Cathcart is half Chinese and half irish!!! Thus, I gave Olympia monolids to accentuate that factor. I also downturned her eyes and thinned her "lashes" to make it more obvious that I'm portraying her as wasian!
I gave her freckles and rounder glasses for the vibe. She's just a soft character to me, and I really want to make her look the part.
She's got messy hair!! It's based on the little half fringes she had in very early s2, which I thought were adorable. Her ponytail's also higher just so she looks different from Olive!!
Miscellaneous hcs:
- Olympia knows floriography, and will get very hurt if you give her the wrong flowers
- Conversely, she thinks she's being really rude if she puts a tansy on someone's desk to show that she's upset and will feel bad about it all day
- She always carries a little salamander named Josh in her pocket
- She can speak Yiddish
- She has a massive storage of those flippable sequin shirts and has one for every occasion
- She put her hair into a ponytail bc of Olive (this one is courtesy of @/starboundsingularities!!!!!), but the more she found herself, the higher up she tied it
- Her last name is Carter-Ng
Next up: Otis!!!
Tumblr media
I draw him a little sickly for no particular reason. He's just silly like that.
He's not that different from canon tbh! I have his hair in an undercut because I think it looks cool on him (plus it's easier to draw), and he has eyebags because of ... the vibe.
He has a notch taken out of his ear due to an injury! From what, he won't say .
Miscellaneous hcs:
- He listens to royalty free music unironically
- He's going through his Alan Walker phase
- He has barely legible handwriting, but can draw surprisingly well
- He types like an old man, with the "............" and everything
- His last name is Otis. His full name is Otis Otis. This one is also courtesy of @/starboundsingularities I love it so much
Last but not least: OONA!!!!!
Tumblr media
She's really going through it.
Fun fact: Olivia Presti has curly hair!!! That means that Oona should have curly (or at least wavy) hair... but she doesn't. Which is honestly so sad.
But I can always mitigate that, so I draw her hair wavy. I guess it's more extremely frazzled than wavy, but it's the same effect in the end.
EYEBAGS. She doesn't sleep after The Incident. She also has downturned eyes, just because she gives off that vibe.
Miscellaneous hcs:
- Oona is a regular customer of a local rage room
- She knows how to use a crossbow to a mildly terrifying extent
- If a flight of stairs has a railing, she'll slide down it. She almost always ends up falling
- Her last name is Silva
- She says she knows how to speak Polish, but she only knows a select few words and doesn't know what they mean. They're all curse words.
- Subsequently, Oona is banned from several Polish restaurants across the city
That's all!! They're all so silly :3

Quotes from my favorite Odd Squad character!
In no particular order...
"And I was starting to think we didn't have anything in common!"
"Pencil room."
"I ate a lot of garlic bread! 😀 So. Much. Garlic bread... 😦"
"Argh! Too slow!"
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life. Well, there was this one time in Paris- never mind. Just zap us."
"aaaaAAAAAHHHHH-"
The rest is under a read more because this is long
"I don't use them! I just make 'em! GO WOLF PACK-"
"I like you." "I like me too :)"
"Oh. So you're that guy..." (NOT romantic!)
"Whoops. I've been working out a ton."
"First of all, I don't think you're fixing that desk..."
"No no no, you see, I said the opposite-"
"I'm starting a dirt farm in New Mexico."
"...too slow again."
"I have an idea." (Stares off into space w/o elaborating) "Are you going to tell me what it is?" "Oh, uh, yes, follow me."
"I made a wax figure of myself!"
"What are you doing?" "Destroying a gadget. I need the parts to build other gadgets, and destroying this one will be good fun. aaAAAHH-"
"I'm so bad at goodbyes. I always talk too much. See, I'm doing it right now!"
"But what happens when your Oonabot becomes smarter you, takes over your life while the actual, real Oona is out getting lunch?" "Uh, what's going on?" *RUNS*
"It's like my hands are covered in butter! Nervous butter, not tasty..."
"I CAN'T STOP DROPPING THINGS!!!"
"Help... me..."
"Take a look at my calculator-inator!" "That's a regular calculator." "Just--just LET ME HAVE THIS ONE!!"
This girl is not sane seriously
"Therefore, while destroying this gadget is likely a mistake, it'll probably be the best decision of my life, so if everyone will please stand back, this sound is likely to be loud! AAAAAHHHH-" (crash)
"Well uh, see you later!" "What? No!" (drags her backwards)
"All I know is that I can't see color anymore. But that was okay, cause I just bonk the back of my head and bam! I can see color again!"
"I also programmed her to laugh at all my jokes." "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!" "She doesn't really know what jokes are!" "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!" "I'll... turn that feature off now." "Ha-ha-ha-ha-"
"I made this one if I want a healthy snack. I just reach into her ear, a carrot, and I can make ranch dressing come out of her nose!"
"Wait..." (hits her head) "Color went out again."
"Ohlm, please leave my lab."
"And now that I control all scientists, I shall be the one to rule the world! MWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! Joking. Joking. So joking. I'm gonna smash these!"
"🎵 Everything's cooool..."
"🎶 Everything's gonna be fiiine!" "Please stop singing."
"I thought I might record this if I'm doing... less well... but yeah, like she said, I'm coo-"
"🎶 Everything's not coool..."
"Let the unboxing begin! I love the sound when you rip open tape! Sounds so good. Ooh, crinkly! Box inside a box, pretty cool..."
"Let the unboxing begin again! I love the sound when you rip open tape! Sounds so good. Ooh, crinkly! Box inside a box, pretty cool..."
"You can destroy that thing." "Crush it." "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH-" (thump)

Given the similar brain waves and also wanting to rant about odd squad, I wanted to hear your take on it.

ODD SQUAD HEADCANONS AAAAHAHAHAHA.
Oona and Oscar are cousins
Every odd squad agent's main partner is their platonic soulmate and it's just kinda perfect through some supernatural means.
Todd and Olive were actually on solidly good terms when Todd got kicked out and the show only showed some of the worst parts to make a point.
Oona, Todd, Oscar, and Otis are autistic. Probably more but I really like these guys specifically.
Olympia, Otto, Olive, Oona, and Todd have ADHD. Again probably many more I just don't wanna list them all.
Otis is a huge fan of grammar and has posters of punctuation marks put up wherever he stays. His favorite is the Oxford comma. He *hates* the tilde because he claims it "looks at him funny."
Otis eats paper. He very adamantly claims "no. It's fine. I digest cellulose perfectly," and no one can figure out if he's actually right or not.
Otis eats cereal with water.
Olympia eats cereal with orange juice!!!! She says she likes the tang.
Both Todd and Otto put the milk before the cereal. Otto doesn't know why he does it, and Todd does it because it optimizes his cereal consumption experience [he is correct.]
Olive only eats dry cereal.
Ms. O/Big O/Oprah snores SUPER loudly.
Otto has superglued his fingers together more than once.
Todd's favorite music genre is classical but specifically the flavor with cannons n shit in the songs. Like "aw yeah I would fight someone to this" classical.
Oona follows Bob Ross tutorials.
Olympia had a phase where she put gems on anything and everything. She still has a pair of glasses from when she put gems on them.
Otis has a hard time with speech and will lose the ability to speak sometimes.
Oona has joint pain in her fingers and can semi-accurately predict whether or not it will precipitate based on said joint pain.
Oona has rats!!!!!!
Todd has always wanted to be a mouse or a really tiny rat. Just for a day. He wants to see what it would be like.
Oscar has re-designed the typing keyboard multiple times.
Oscar Really likes vanilla ice cream. He has a vanilla ice cream-inator that makes anything taste like vanilla ice cream.
Oscar REALLY likes textures.
Olive needs the room to be freezing in order to go to sleep.
Olympia's favorite show would be fraggle rock.
Oona is part squirrel. No one is sure how, none of her relatives are squirrels. It's just her who has squirrel DNA.
Oona has 2 moms.
Orla eats orange peels.

Treason' Proves There’s More to Charlie Cox Than 'Daredevil'
By Kelcie Mattson   January 12, 2023 (X)
The actor beloved for 'Daredevil' has much more to offer the world, especially in Netflix's 'Treason.'
Tumblr media
If there’s one thing most Marvel fans can agree on, it’s the impeccable casting of Charlie Cox as Daredevil/Matt Murdock. Like Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman before him, few actors have better inhabited the tormented skin of their superhero counterpart. But Cox was already establishing himself as an acting force to be reckoned with prior to 2015's Daredevil, leaving a trail of memorable performances that culminated in his ongoing MCU role. Five years after Daredevil's cancelation, Cox returned as a Netflix leading man for the service's new original series, Treason. The role of Adam Lawrence, an MI6 agent devoted to protecting his country and family yet harboring the weight of past indiscretions, proves an ideal vehicle for Cox's defining traits as an actor and cements him as more than just a guy in a red devil suit.
What Is 'Treason' About?
Tumblr media
Treason is a non-stop espionage thrill ride reminiscent of the BBC classic Spooks, The Night Manager, and Daniel Craig's era of James Bond. After Russian spy Kara (Olga Kurylenko) poisons the head of MI6 (Ciarán Hinds), second-in-command Lawrence is thrust into the intelligence agency's leadership vacuum. And it comes with no shortage of expectations, as Lawrence must balance being Britain's first line of defense with juggling the politics of jealous colleagues, managing a CIA investigation into his loyalties, keeping his wife and children safe, and stopping Kara from using their old love affair to blackmail him.
As Treason's Lawrence, Cox funnels the individual qualities that make him a compelling figure into one role, particularly his earnestness, ferocity, delicacy, and ability to walk the fine line between a good man with noble intentions and a flawed human with ongoing failures. When Treason opens, Lawrence's life is idyllic: a devoted wife, two children, a cushy job, even a fancy house. Cox's performance, naturally, reflects this; Lawrence is relaxed and assured whether he's visiting with his son's classmates or issuing severe orders to his staff. His relationship with his wife Maddy (Oona Chaplin) is tender, and he's playful with his kids. That security quickly falls apart as his past indiscretions catch up with him. The revelation that Kara has secretly engineered his lucrative career, which raises the CIA's suspicions about his allegiances and invites personal betrayal, leaves Lawrence fearful and flailing in the wind. He has no choice except to clear his name, expose the true traitor, and protect those he loves.
Cox Brings Emotional Maturity to His Roles
Tumblr media
No matter the character or the size of his part, Cox brings emotional maturity to the material. An inherent commitment simmers beneath his body language and expressions, a sense that the actor is reaching deep to find his character's truth and performing with all he has. There's no half-assing it with Cox, at least on the surface. In Daredevil, his resolute and angry tension allows for no doubt concerning Matt's passion for protecting the helpless and redeeming his home, nor the depths of his barely restrained rage. And despite Lawrence's questionable actions in Treason, if the audience is meant to question his devotion to king and country, Cox's natural sincerity makes Lawrence's ultimate integrity a foregone conclusion. He's too good of a person when and where it counts.
This is best exemplified in relation to Lawrence's family. Adam isn't the type to sacrifice his loved ones for the greater good. Rather, he prioritizes them so highly that he commits treason to rescue his kidnapped daughter Ella (Beau Gadsdon). With her life at risk, he can't focus on the larger threat even though he's leading MI6. He keeps secrets from his wife out of shame, fidgeting and staring agitatedly into the middle distance. When he begs Maddy to understand that his love for her has never wavered and his secrets stem from guilt, all of that earlier intensity transforms into something quieter if no less vehement. It's an earnestness rooted in a gentle and steadfast love like Matt Murdock's encounters with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) or Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson).
The same energy applies when Lawrence reunites with his daughter or reassures his frightened son Callum (Samuel Leakey). Cox rarely raises his voice in Treason and doesn't need to. The thrumming energy in his physicality says enough. As a character, Lawrence feels lived-in despite Treason's fast-paced plot, and Cox demonstrating those consistent characteristics sets him apart as a believable and adept actor.
Taken in the context of his past roles, that easy truthfulness isn't a surprise. Daredevil could be a ludicrous series in different hands, but Cox contributes to its grounded style by never overacting while still rising to the emotional level a scene requires. Whether it's questioning his lifelong faith or fighting an array of evil ninjas, Murdock's pain is visceral in every punch and broken rib, as is his repeated heartbreak. Hatred, remorse, and love echo off the screen and transfer naturally into applicable instances in Treason.
'Boardwalk Empire' Was a Breakout Role For Cox
Tumblr media
Take HBO's Boardwalk Empire, where Cox portrays IRA member Owen Sleater, the right-hand man to main character and criminal Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi). Sleater is armed with a sharp intelligence and ruthless willingness to assassinate enemies as much as he's armed with guns. He's a man made rough around the edges by poverty, but in true Cox form there's an unexpected sensitivity to his romance with Nucky's wife Margaret (Kelly Macdonald). His demeanor softens at their first meeting, and as their affair progresses, it's clear that he adores her enough to move heaven and earth if she asked. He doesn't conceal his infatuation, and his ensuing Victorian-levels of yearning is disarming.
If only Owen's optimism weren't at the mercy of an HBO series. After a mission, he returns to Margaret and Nucky as a corpse in a box, but his goofy smiles and belief in love remain unique to Boardwalk Empire's world and help distinguish Cox's strengths. Owen, Matt, and Treason's Lawrence are each victims of their romantic and familial fidelities, and the sheer commitment from Cox guarantees that audiences engage with him.
A Star Is Born In 'Stardust'
Tumblr media
That holds true in a different (and surprisingly happy) way in the fantasy adventure Stardust, which was Cox's breakout role and now a cult classic. A besotted young man who promises to retrieve a fallen star for his lady love, Cox's Tristan instead falls in genuine love with the star herself, Yvaine (Claire Danes), over a series of adventures together. Their chemistry sparkles with classic enemies-to-lovers banter and Tristan's romanticism is bright and charming. He's the ideal floppy-haired hero for the genre: a swashbuckling swordfighter, a smooth dancer, and delicately devoted to Yvaine. Even in 2007, Cox's innate presence and emotional substance distinguished him from the many young men of the early 2000s who starred in fantasy films.
Give Charlie Cox All the Roles, Please
Naturally, Cox has more to offer the world than Daredevil even as the buzz around his return (and his own excitement) soars high. Seeing him recognized by Netflix again with Treason is a deserved delight. He makes each role unique, yet the consistency across his career is how each character feels natural. He combines fervor with honest fragility, and Treason undoubtedly proves that Cox possesses the necessary caliber to lead any series.

Siavash - Taurvi - Lucky - Evaniel - Oona - Random - Melisande - Alar Lavellan
Favorite
PWOTR
Siavash at the moment and possibly my all-time fave ❤️ He came along at a time when I really needed an azata liberator, totally unexpected and the result of several happy accidents in character creation in PWOTR as well as the azata path. Writing him and Woljif has been a joy.
Newest
PWOTR
Still working out some details about Taurvi, my tiefling aeon inquisitor of Pharasma turned psychopomp usher. She’s Garundi, raised by Voices of the Spire, and has an obsessive parasocial sort of relationship with the Lady of Graves. As a young priestess she took up wearing a veil as a sign of sobriety and modesty in the presence of the dying and grieving. Right now she and Seelah are growing close and that may become romantic? There will be tragedy.
Oldest
Homebrew D&D
I don’t even know anymore so I’ll just give an old one: Tessarina “Lucky” Blackfingers, a gnome priestess of Tymora I played in a message-board game long ago.
Meanest
Planescape
Evaniel, fallen angel heavy metal singer currently residing in Sigil. Entrusted with the Sword of Truth by his god, which immediately made him an atheist and threw him down from paradise, he has a lot of bitterness and nihilism to share around. He’s had his wings surgically removed by the infamous Debarber of Sigil and after a long and horrible bender with the Sensates has been collected and nursed back to health by a drowned poet.
Softest
Eberron
Lady Oona the fortune-teller, who is actually just really, really good at cold-reading because she gets people. Generous figure, opulent style, secret agent. A woman too wise to let anyone get close. But she gives hugs as fantastic as her advice.
Most aloof/standoffish
Planescape
Random Fallen, lowest tiefling rogue in the Hive and one bad blood. If he sounds familiar it’s because I have a type ok? But there are some notable differences with Woljif. Random’s really actually bad at heart. He axe murders an old pawnbroker, but in the planes crime and punishment aren’t just concepts.
Dumbest
Homebrew D&D
Aw Melisande, the Sapphire Paladin. Her dump stat is wis and I played it that way a little too hard in that campaign. Got the party into trouble more than once. Really very sweet and well-meaning though.
Smartest Hungriest
Alar Lavellan, Dalish Inquisitor. Rangy little ball of muscle and anger.
OC you’d be best friends with IRL
Siavash would break my heart. I love him but he is just. too much
Probably Oona, or Nikos Tregazian, my sad sack aging Eberron mercenary.
Tagging but no pressure! @undyingembers, @commander-lariel, @silversiren1101, @cassynite, @spyridonya, @desnas, @rhyiona, @iwoszareba

MI6
Tumblr media
