Okay I FINALLY remembered to tell you! I tried toasting my bread with salt and on a pan, it's delicious! It's now my preferred way to make toast

i know its basically texas toast but it is 100% the superior way to make toast as long as you dont mind washing up a pan afterwards

also sometimes if im using salted butter and wanna be EXTRA fancy i'll finish making the toast and then slap a spoonful of bonne maman blueberry preserves on there
