i do think pokemon AUs work for literally anything. you think to yourself "this character needs an elemental beast to be friends with" and every single time you're correct.

#and then you get to go through the hundreds of creatures and decide which type combinations go with your guy #and if your blorbo would pick only one type or make a strategic battle team or collect a bunch of strays #and if they would battle or just hang out and do regular world stuff but with a friendly pal #it's always a good exercise for “how well do you know this character: which pokemon would they choose?” #yeah it brings me joy. i like the little funny creatures. #anyway sylvie DEFINITELY would have a weavile. #pokemon #juni rambles
