Skarlet Headcanons!!

( I write Skarlet as less power hungry then her mk11 depiction. I write her as more loyal and tragic. Also I don’t like the flirty intros she has with her adoptive father Shao Kahn because they’re gross so where not gonna do that. She is devoted to him but there’s no sexual attraction. if I write young Kitana to be bitchy it’s not because I don’t like her it’s because she most likely was. She was raised in royalty with the pressure that Shao Kahn put on her. So logically she’d unconsciously take this out on Skarlet.)

First her backstory:

Skarlet was born to very poor family who couldn’t afford to take care of her. She was named Aurie by her birth parents. Since there’s no orphanages in Outworld her parents just dumped her in a city when she was 7 to fend for herself. This particular city called Oredon was known for known for it’s bad reputation. It was like New York but less advanced and much worse.

To survive she had to adapt quickly. She started hanging out with the other orphans on the streets. The older orphans would teach the younger how to steal for them. Her fellow orphans nicknamed her Skarlet because of her unique red hair and eyes. It stuck so much she never went by her birth name again. She had to learn how to fight for everything she had or wanted. She became a very talented little theif. She was able to use people’s underestimation of her to her advantage. Although sometimes she would get caught and be beaten severely. Pain and hunger became common feelings for her and remain that way for most of her life.

Her days on the streets would end though when she was 13 and she came into contact with the great Shao Kahn. He was marching through the city one day in his expensive horse drawn carriage on his way to his palace. His gaurds of course all around him.

The carriage stopped because their was a traffic jam ahead. That’s when Skarlet noticed a small loose diamond on the spoke of one of the wheels. She and two of her friends devised that if they could steal that diamond while the guards were distracted clearing the traffic and slip away without being noticed, they could then sell the diamond and get enough money to last her for a couple months. It was was a verryyy risky plan but they was desperate and hungry enough to try.

Alas, they got caught. A guard grabbed her and her two friends and started screaming at her. Shao Kahn saw the children from his window. He noticed Skarlet’s blood red hair first and then noticed how hard she was fighting against the guard. Such ferocity intrigued the Kahn. Shao Kahn stepped out of the carriage and stopped the guard from striking the little girl down. He then turned to her and ask:

Shao Kahn: “What is your name child?”

Skarlet: “Everyone calls me Skarlet.”

Shao Kahn: “I am assuming that is because of your hair?”

Skarlet: *wipes the blood from her nose and sniffs* “I guess.”

Shao Kahn: “You are quite the fighter Skarlet but tell me, why did you attempt to steal my diamond?”

Skarlet: “Because I wanted it.”

Shao Kahn chuckled. He admired her fearlessness. Her other two friends where sobbing and shaking. She had the potential to be a fearsome warrior one day. A warrior that would serve him. Shao Kahn took the diamond from the guard and crouched down in front of her. He gently opened her hand and placed the diamond into it.

Shao Kahn: “Such strength should be rewarded. Come with me and I’ll make you even stronger.”

Skarlet was shocked for a moment but then she took his offered hand. They walked back to the carriage with her tiny hand holding onto his big finger.

Once he lifted her into the carriage and shut the door he ordered the guards to kill off the other two orphans. Skarlet didn’t hear this order or see her friends deaths. She was too in awe of the expensive leather inside of the carriage. He entered into the carriage and she was whisked off to her new life.

When she met Kitana:

When they returned to Shao Kahn’s palace a 15 year old (in human years) Kitana came to greet her father. She was understandably shocked when she saw a dirty, little redheaded girl by his side.

Shao Kahn: “Kitana this is Skarlet, your new little sister.” *He gestures to her*

Kitana was still processing it all when Skarlet stepped forward and offered her hand. Instead of taking it Kitana looks at his father and says.

Kitana: “Father you can’t be serious.” *irritated*

Shao Kahn: “I am very serious. You dare question my choices daughter?” *He glares at her dangerously.*

Kitana scared of her father’s wrath, begrudgingly takes Skarlet’s hand. Kitana at this point in her life is very immature, spoiled, and arrogant. She is pushed everyday to be the flawless heir for Shao Kahn. She wants to be the best in her father’s eyes and immediately sees Skarlet as competition for his favor. Skarlet tries to befriend her new sister many times but Kitana refuses to make an effort.

She and Jade are also put off by her street rat past. They were taught since they were toddlers that the poor where lower than them. They often avoided her because of this. She would go intentionally rough on her during sparring matches and never let her win. She always reminded Skarlet that she was adopted.

This caused bitterness and hatred for Kitana to grow with in her. Skarlet became a loner and would train by herself. Shao Kahn started to teach her magic and drove her to focus on mastering it. He also introduced her to the dangerous Blood Magik. He used mental and emotional manipulation to convince her to use it of course.

As she grew into her teenage years she started turning into a stunning young woman. She began getting the attention she lacked from her adoptive family, from many lovers. This is where her flirtatious side comes from.

On a mission assigned by Shang Tsung she clashes with a cute Earthrealm boy named Tundra. (Refer to my sub zero/ skarlet post) he’s from some clan named the Lin Kuei. He’s a good fighter but she’s easily able to distract and immobilize him. She blows hims a kiss goodbye and hopes for them meet again sometime.

Shao Kahn manipulates her into taking a Blood Code at 18 (human years) saying, that it would make her even more powerful. He never told her that the ritual could kill her and the Magik would kill her very slowly.

Shao Kahn had doubts that she’d even survive the blood ritual and was surprised when she did. This ignited her hunger and addiction for blood.

Side note Skarlet was dating Erron Black a this point in time. Leaves his ass heartbroken too.

After Shao Kahn’s death:

Skarlet is devastated by his death. She feels like she had failed the one man who in her mind saved her. The one person she shares this pain with is Mileena. She hadn’t known Mileena for long before Kahn’s passing but they relate to each other in many ways. Both were loyally devoted to Kahn and both hate Kitana.

Since Mileena was the heir Shao Kahn wanted to take the throne she pledges her loyalty to her. They become very close and Skarlet gets the sister Kitana refused to be. She helps her take the throne and becomes her right hand man.

(In my AU Kotal never becomes Kahn because that’s stupid and instead Kitana and Mileena have a civil war for the throne of Outworld.)

She’s one of the very few people Mileena will actually listen too. She keeps Mileena from making rash decisions. She also protects Mileena from treachery. Tanya, Baraka, and Skarlet become the only three people Mileena trusts.

Side note: Skarlet is dating Nitara at this time. Until she dumps her a couple months later because Skarlet is a playa. Nitara defected from Mileena’s forces because of this. That’s why you don’t mix business with pleasure.

When Mileena’s forces overwhelm Kitana’s. Kitana and her forces go into temporary hiding. She reaches out to Earthrealm but Raiden is very hesitant about bringing Earthrealm into a war that they have no business being in. Despite Liu-Kang’s insistence that they help her.

Skarlet and Tanya chase off Reptile, Kotal Khan and Devorah when they find their assassination attempt against Mileena. Skarlet manages to track down and brutally kill Devorah. She brings her head to Mileena.

(Because fuck Devorah. She’s an awful and overpowered character.)

Skarlet believes with the correct guidance Mileena could be a good ruler and she wants her to be. Because beind the Blood Magik and ferociousness Skarlet does want a better Outworld. She wants a Outworld where children are safe and not starving. She believes she can accomplish this with Mileena.

She continues to fight on Mileena’s side until one day while in a battle with Kitana all the resentment towards her boils over.

While they fight she tells about all the times Kitana rejected her, made her feel like she was nothing, and that she was never a sister to her. Kitana is caught off guard by Skarlets genuine hurt. As an adult The memories of mistreating Skarlet when they were children had slipped her mind. It didn’t impact her the way it did Skarlet and Kitana realized that.

Skarlet manages to overpower her and start choking her. She stops though when Kitana apologizes to her, something she wasn’t expecting. She roughly lets go of her.

Skarlet: “I should kill you. By the gods I should bleed you out dry.”

Kitana: *rubs the bruises on her neck* “I probably would deserve it, for how I treated you.”

Skarlet: “You would deserve it!”

Kitana: “Skarlet. I should’ve been there for you. I’m sor-

Skarlet: “If you think for a second that a sappy apology is going to make me forg-

Kitana: “-I want to be there for you now. I was insecure and foolish. I tried so hard to please father everyday but it was never enough. I shouldn’t of taken that stress out on you but I did and I know I can’t take it back...” *She takes Skarlet’s hand and smiles genuinely.*

Kitana: “Allow me to make it up to you sister, please.”

*Skarlet stares at her for a couple moments with tears streaming from her eyes while contemplating is Kitana was being truthful or not.

Skarlet: “...No you’ve had your chance. The next time we cross paths, I’m putting a blade through your skull.”

*Skarlet takes her hand away, turns her back on her and walks away.*

She leaves Kitana heartbroken.

But Kitana’s apology did have an effect on her. She was honestly contemplating if she did say yes. Could she have the relationship she’d always wanted with Kitana? But that would be betraying Mileena. She becomes very conflicted with her loyalty for her two sisters.

i’ll give you five headcanons of my muse in that universe.

of course it counts as a fandom !!! you and your world owns my soul and i just ?? love it so much i cry ??? this got so long like omg || grimesucker

LANCE

we talked about it once and i think it’ll be the only time it happens, but in his time in the UC, lance has only ever killed one person – though that is always subject to change. this is after he’s been there for a while now. he did it to protect some of the slumbrats and he has nightmares about it sometimes.

despite being pulled down here and what he’s been through, he still manages to find a way to be positive?? he does suppress a lot of the negative emotions though because he doesn’t want to be a burden on anyone, especially dox after all he’s already done for him. he has a lot of masks that he wears ( mostly when he’s around other people, when he’s at work ) and even though he won’t show it, he’s not dealing well with being in the undercity.

his apartment is pretty small but it’s got enough space for what he needs it for, which is sleeping. he doesn’t really have anything of value with him because everything was left back home when he was brought down. anything that might be valuable stays at carnival with abali.

not the first time that lance gets taken, but the second time it happens ( referenced here ), he gets injected with the sauce and he’s a mess™ when dox and artemis eventually find him. he remembers bits and pieces, faces mostly, that he saw when he was still feeling the effects, but couldn’t describe any of it if he tried. all he knows is that he felt like shit, everything hurt, and his head was killing him. he’s got scratches on his arms and his knuckles are bloodied and bruised because he saw his family members and gage ( under w/e name he was using with lance ) saying things that really messed him up and he tried scratching himself to ‘wake himself up’ and punched walls to try and get them to shut up.

lance is really good at making friends. while he wouldn’t go as far to say that he knows people care about him, he has connections. he generally never starts up a friendship with the intention of having connections, it usually ends up like that one way or another. while some of them are genuine and are friendships, a majority of them stem from working at carnival.

speaking of carnival ( bc only 5?? what are limits idk ), lance is super protective of everyone who works there. he makes it a point to know who works there and even though he doesn’t HAVE to, he’d fight for all of them. tsu-tsu probably beats him to any arising problem, but he’s always there to help make sure his friends and co-workers are okay and safe.

the lion’s roar, his restaurant, is only open certain hours, working around his schedule at carnival. sometimes, if abali needs him outside of that, he’ll close down shop in order to accommodate her needs. working at the lion’s roar honestly brings him so much happiness? it’s one of the very few places where he can make his own rules, where he can let go of all the bullshit and sadness and anger and make something good for people who deserve to have good things ( even if they’re lil shits and assholes. they’re still people ). cooking makes him so happy.

ARTEMIS

artemis has a lil bit of a reputation as a fighter. she may be small but she uses that to her advantage. people underestimate her because she’s small and young ( she argues that being seventeen is old enough – six is old enough to hold a knife and stab someone ( she would know ) so ?? ). despite all of the fights she gets into, she hasn’t killed anyone aside from pippa, who was her 'aunt’ who continued to raise her and apollo after their parents were killed.

she will NEVER admit it, but she is such a sucker for true love. her parents had it and she wants it, too. but she doesn’t think she’s worthy of it or that she’d ever find anyone who would settle with her. don’t try to accuse her of being a romantic— she’ll take your eye for it and tell you to shove your accusations up your ass.

artemis kind of really looks up to dox. she’s not the greatest at admitting her feelings and generally responds with waving something sharp in response so don’t ask her about it. but if she were good at admitting her feelings and talking about them, she’d say that even though dox is a pain in the ass, he still takes the time to look out for them– all of them, as much as he can. sometimes when she’s afraid, she asks herself, “what would dox do?” and while that doesn’t always give her the greatest solution, she felt brave enough to execute her plan.

linking back to hc #2, artemis is afraid of love. she is afraid that even if she DOES find it, it won’t last. something always goes wrong. always. she doesn’t want to get her hopes up and the only way to do this is to be in control, to stop things before they get serious, before anyone can hurt her first. along with the reputation of being a fighter, she gets the reputation of being a HEARTBREAKER, breaking hearts all over the UC before they can break hers.

throws wes in here bc i love him already. wes goes by trix and is a known troublemaker. he and the twins have known each other for years and have a sort of friendly rivalry going ( no one’s stabbed each other yet ! that’s as friendly as it could get as kids ). it isn’t until after apollo gets attacked and taken that artemis and trix start to hang out more. it isn’t for the best, though, because trix is trying to bring apollo out and get him used to the changes to his nanobots, which artemis disapproves of bc they don’t know the limits of them yet or what apollo is capable of. she almost stabs trix a couple of times and punches him a few times but after a few months, idk how it happens or what the circumstances are, but they end up sleeping together and it’s a rollercoaster of emotions with them pushing and pulling, trying to avoid each other and ending up together at the end of the night and eventually they enter a relationship. as much as artemis tries not to, she feels herself falling for him harder every day and she’s terrified but — she looks at dox and lance and thinks that maybe, just maybe, she can have that too.

artemis is really into painting. she doesn’t get to do it often, but when she does, she can spend hours just creating things. she’ll use other forms of art, but painting is her favorite. she’s got a sketchbook she keeps hidden away with sketches of places and people in the undercity, she’s tagged the sides of buildings and signs. she wants to give the city something BRIGHT to look at. she likes to do landscapes but she only has pictures from books as references and because of this, she doesn’t do them too often. most of her paintings are, like her sketches, of people and buildings.

APOLLO

apollo is the softest boy ever !!!! he may be the older twin, but artemis has always been the tougher of the two. he prefers to talk things out and work through problems instead of attacking each other. that being said, he isn’t afraid to fight someone. if his sister or someone he cares about is threatened, he immediately becomes a threat, especially after his nanobots are messed with.

his dna was mixed with a wolf’s and he becomes easier to anger and is quicker to jump into fights. because of this, he wants to lay low and not bring too much attention to him and artemis. he doesn’t want her being taken too if the people who took him find out that whatever they did to him worked.

apollo doesn’t like that artemis gets into so many relationships. he doesn’t have anything against it and knows that she’s her own person making her own decisions, but he wishes she could see that she IS worthy of finding love just like anyone else if she just gives herself a chance. he’s also tired of having to get into fights every other week after she breaks up with someone.

he’s adopted a dog he named rosewood. rosewood come and goes as she pleases and always manages to show up at the door whenever apollo is leaving or getting home. after his nanobots are messed with, rosewood avoids apollo for a few weeks before she comes around again and sticks around longer than she had before.

aside from artemis, trix is his best friend. he’s the only one who’s treated apollo the same as before. there aren’t many people you could really trust with your life, but apollo trusts trix with his life— but he does sit trix down and tells him that if he hurts his sister, they’re going to fight. trix mentions that isn’t exactly fair because apollo is much stronger than him. this earns a pap to the cheek and a fond, “life’s not fair, dumbass.”

apollo gets jobs where he can when he can to try and bring in some money for him and artemis. he’s probably been approached by a few gangs?? correct me if im wrong !! but what’s happened to him isn’t common knowledge but no one would be surprised if certain people ( *cough* 5liip, abali, and maybe ??? bratch ??? *cough* ) found out and tried to recruit him bc of it?? he turns them down tho bc he does not want to get involved with that. he doesn’t want a life of fighting and war.

VEE

she is hella dangerous. she may only be fourteen but you do not want to be fighting her. she is skilled in all forms of combat and can adapt to just about any weapon given to her.

she doesn’t have any family or friends. she has no ties to anyone and very rarely gets attached to people.

she comes from one of the upper levels ! she was basically bred to be a little assassin / spy because who would suspect a child? definitely not the people she’s killed. however, something goes WRONG and she’s sent down to the undercity as punishment, which pisses her off because it wasn't her fault. then 5liip comes into the picture and she joins {BB} ( getting her brackets tattooed on the inside of her left wrist ) where she works as a spy / assassin for 5liip.

vee has ??? hella information she could give 5liip tbh?? she’s got names, codes, locations— you name it, she probably knows it. she wants to get revenge on the people who sent her down here only because they set her up for failure. she doesn’t fail. vee was probably sent to the UC to get killed but that didn’t really work out well for her former employers.

vee has to be doing something. she doesn’t like being stationary for very long. if she can’t go out or isn’t given a job to do, she can be found training.

she can mimic voices !!! all she has to do is listen to a few words the other person says and she can mimic their voices flawlessly. 5liip and lobster are the only ones who know this.

though she doesn’t show it ( bc she just doesn’t know how to ), she really enjoys the company of 5liip and lobster ; they’re the only two people she will allow to touch her without losing a finger or getting seriously injured. she tolerates the other {BB} members because she has to. she’s not really a people person.

vee doesn’t talk a lot. she communicates mostly through nods or one word responses ( “affirmative,” “negative,” etc ). though she is very intelligent, she wasn’t given much time for speaking when she was on the upper levels. she’s been taught to keep it short and simple. you don’t have to say much when you’re there to kill for the greater good.

if she’s a thing in the 1nh3r174nc3 verse, she’s gonna be. vvvvvv upset that 5liip and lobster are gone ( bc they were the only things that mattered to her ) and probably has like. the worst tantrum ever negl. she completely destroys some room ( where at? idek tbh ) and if anyone comes near her, she’s gonna destroy them too. but once she’s. pulled herself together, she’s going to do for dox what she did for 5liip. she’s going to be a grumpier version of herself but whatever dox needs done, she’ll go out and do it.

[Characters] Careful It Bites

Hello world!!

I’ll be releasing BTS Mafia au fanfic called “Careful It Bites” soon so keep an eye out :D I haven’t been writing lately and I’ve been so inspired to make an action fanfic for a long time. So I decided to make my ultimate group to take the plunge on the action themselves hahaha plus they look so hot being cool.

Warning: Please don’t read if you can’t handle it cause I can make this from fluffy to angst in one second so get ready for an emotional roller coaster.

Characters:

Kim Soomin

- Kim Namjoon’s sister. 2 years younger-1996 liner. Next in line to take over her mother’s spy organization called CX-3.

-Engaged to Min Yoongi. They were arranged to be married but as they had grew up together, they didn’t mind being arranged together since they were already in love.

-Fearless. Doesn’t let her fears get the best of her.

-Smart. Like her brother, she is also a genius. Has a photographic memory so one look at the text book, she has all the answers in her head. Her IQ 155 is slightly higher than Namjoon’s. Likes to outwit her peers and enemies.

-Great at martial arts. She’s an incredible fighter, loves to fight to underestimate her opponent’s skills and strength. Started training for martial arts since she was 5 years old.

-Hot tempered. She tries to keep her temper down during conflicts but most of the time she was the one who started the conflict.

-Good with guns and knives. She is very skillful at handling guns and knives. She’s very flexible and agile. So she can attack quietly and kill the opponent within seconds.

:BTS Crew.

~Consists of 7 most powerful men from different underground backgrounds.

Kim Namjoon (Leader)

-Older brother to Kim Soomin. The next in line to be a Godfather after his father.

-Leads BTS. Everyone hands down gave him that title for being a good role model and has the leadership skills.

-Currently does missions for his parents. So one day he’s a spy and the next he will be a scary mafia leader.

-Clumsy for an underground leader. Tends to accidentally shoot people because he happens to always forget to get the safety on or off in different situations. He can destroy things quickly too. One touch and something gets destroyed. Was unfortunately born with it and can’t be changed.

-Good with shooting and fighting. Even though he’s clumsy, he’s very good at calculating distance and estimate the enemies move ahead.

-Best at strategy. All of his missions are always fool proof due to his nature at being a strategist. Every move was carefully arranged at the designated timing.

-Everyone that works for him are very loyal to him as Namjoon never backs out from his word. He can make enemies into his allies easily and they will stay by him no matter what happens.

Kim Seokjin

-The eldest member in the group.

-His handsome face made people underestimate how powerful he is.

-Family is considered one of the most influential in Asia with them owning over 26 cities across Asia.

-Owns a popular production company called Blank Canvas as a cover up to his own secret service organization. South Korea recognizes Seokjin as a talented CEO as his company is very successful in South Korea and Japan but no one has seen his face as he refused to have a public appearance to protect his identity. His secret service organization is called Amor Fati.

-Has an alias name for Amor Fati: Kim Yeoljin.

-Best at manipulation. He is famous for manipulating his enemies to get what he wants. He usually uses manipulation when he’s interrogating or torturing his enemies.

-Compiles intel for BTS. He knows everything and anything that happens around the world. He is one of the few people who gets informed first before the information spreads to somewhere else. He has connections from a garbage truck driver to the US president.

-He’s actually very caring and funny to everyone in his family and BTS. He finds happiness easily achievable by being with the people who he loves closely.

-Secretly skillful at medical practices and pharmacy. He is incredibly well-known to experiment new medicines and poisons. Most of the poisons used on his enemies were made by him so it’s incredibly difficult for his enemies to seek antidote unless they submit to Seokjin.

Min Yoongi

-Kim Soomin’s fiance. He was the one to submit the idea of marriage to Soomin’s dad just because he’s over-protective. Soomin is his biggest weakness.

-He is quiet, deadly and likes to curse a lot but to BTS he is just another grumpy 25 year old hacker.

-Family runs an arms dealer. Supplies weapons to military, spy organizations and secret service organizations. They even have several labs across the world to build new weapons.

-Has every military forces to protect his family. The Min family has created a reputation for being honest and loyal. Therefore, all their clients has vowed to protect them if anything happens to the family.

-One of the greatest hackers in Asia. He can hack into CIA,FBI and M15 security systems and even hack into NASA satellite grids. Sometimes they like to give him a challenge to see if he can crack their systems.

Jung Hoseok

-The next heir to Asia’s biggest drug cartel.

-Despite his frightening demeanor, Hoseok is very optimistic and bright for his line of work. People would go to him for advice.

-Very highly skilled with guns and bombs. He likes to experiment with explosives and create a customize bombs for fun.

-To hide his cargoes from the police and customs, he would go all out to create traps to ship the drugs out safely.

Park Jimin

-The only family member that he has left is his little brother. Park Jihyun. He makes sure that his brother goes to school and study properly.

-Owns a private marine army. The base is located on an island near Japan. It has its own marine academy. It is also a place for Jimin to keep all the boats and ships that he likes to collect.

-Owns a few hospitals in South Korea and hotels as his side income.

-He is very manipulative. He uses his appearance to trick his enemies and he doesn’t stop until he gets what he wants.

-He is quick at making decisions so negotiations are always easy for him.

Kim Taehyung

-Dubbed as the tracker in the group. He is skilled to track people.

-With Jungkook, both are the assassins of BTS. He kills as he is told to, no questions asked.

-Has a quirky personality and great sense in fashion. He likes to make sure that none of his designer clothes has a single drop of blood on them during his missions.

-Very clingy with everyone in the group.

Jeon Jungkook

-The youngest in the group
