In Fairy Tail, as far as Human characters are concerned, There are only 3 I consider absolutely terrible, in terms of their actions. That would be Ivan, Jienma (no explanation needed here)... and Juvia. Those 3 are abusers, even though juvia's abuse is more subtle and disguised under her "love" for Gray. I fail to see what's heartwarming about juvia stalking Gray to his parents' graves, and make him feel sorry for her about her "killing" his father. Then she forced herself where he lived, and refused to leave, according to Gray. I'm assuming Gray is telling the truth because I don't remember him ever lying prior to this. This implies he asked her to leave and she refused. Then it get worse, because juvia proudly tells Lucy and Wendy that she tried to sleep with him, until he kicked her out of the bed. Which could be considered attempted sexual assault.

But of course it's only comedy, because juvia is a female and can't be an abuser, right? Just like every time she threatened Gray's female friends... or when she stalks him... or when she used a potion to drug him... or when she acts like a jealous girlfriend even though they are not even dating. If their genders were switched, would so many people find it cute ? I don't think so.

Lately I saw something funny

Like Fairy Tail is my favorite anime and I have my ships and I have characters I love and I hate.

In my opinion one ship is unnecessary. Why? Here's explanation:

I don't like Juvia. She is so annoying to me, clingy, stalker. If this is okay for everyone else, then good, ship whatever you want but respect others decisions.

Now people gonna reapond to me and say how they like Juvia bc I said that I hate her?? Is this even normal? And of course I ship other ships, not the force ones. I really wanted Gray to be with Lucy, then with Erza and even with Ultear. It would be FOR ME so much better. Many times you can see that Gruvia is forced till the point that author decided to pair them. Search for interview where he admitted that he wanted him to be with Erza. I also heard about ugly comments towards him, because people wanted their ship. Well if u know the same thing happened in the TV series Teen Wolf.

If you like clingy, weird, psycho jealous people that's okay, your choice but respect others and don't try to convince that Juvia with him is better. End this weird circle and ship whatever you want.

And yes I like GrayLu. Gonna hate me for that because you think you know better?

Juvia Lockser In My Headcanons

In my au, Gruvia, is not, and will never be canon, but they will be friends, not bestfriends.

Juvia does continue to speak in third person, but the whole "Stalker, who respects no boundaries," just goes away.

Juvia is Aro/Ace, like water. Juvia has never really craved romance she just needed love, not romantic but platonic it only really came to her about that when she joined the guild.

You know, Juvia being neglected and alone since childhood and then she sees romantic love in action, it in her point of view is being loved but when it came to that she never had any actual romantic attraction towards her exes, she just felt "loved" but they'd all leave her because of her rain, she only liked looks, the men she's been with were decent looking except Bora, I have no idea how they even met.

Joining Phantom Lord felt no different, she was in a guild but the only people who she really talked to were Sol, or whatever that weird looking man was and 𝐆𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐞𝐥, other than that she kept to herself.

Then in Fairy Tail, she was content with everyone, they still viewed her as a enemy y'know because of her FORMER affiliation with Phantom Lord but she really proves that she'd do anything for the guild, and so y'know Cana spreads the word, people get a bit more comfortable with Juvia and she is happy with that.

Gray was someone that saved her life, and she was thankful because his kindness felt so rare to her, foreign, unlike everyone else who neglected her and would let her drop, he saved her, so she views him as a great person someone she can look up to, Juvia take my advice, don't, you'd be calling out Iced Shell almost every time a week.

Juvia is like the mother of the guild, not really but sort of, she has the motherly energy, the guys keep her away from Loke not because they fear he'd tried to flirt with Juvia, no that's actually why, Juvia is someone who needs to be protected.

I'm not really a fan of Mashima's Juvia and how he views romance, I don't stand for it in any shape or form, and the way he fucks up her character is just bad.

Juvia is apart of Team Shadow Gear

Levy, Jet, Gajeel and Droy are her partners and they get along, she and Droy have nature connected powers and so they like to interact, ofc she and Gajeel are close but she teases him about his crush on Levy, which he'll deny but stop later on, Levy and Juvia talk, a lot, like Juvia and Levy would be in the background questioning Lucy about her and Natsu while Lucy is blushing but telling how she feels about him. Juvia will team up with Lucy or Wendy, sometimes Erza and Gray but with Natsu that is rare, their styles and powers are different, but they work with it but it just doesn't work all the time.

Juvia: I catch them, you hit them.

Natsu: Alright.

Juvia does not get weaker, her love for her guild and previous power make her stronger, and she has a good amount of methods to deal with her enemies, water lock them, use her water body to confused weak minded men, and use water sources to her advantage, she's strong against fire users, not Natsu all that much, but fire users.

Juvia speaks in french when she gets angry.

You know Sol, weird eye glass man? Yeah they still talk. Sol is out and about, traveling and what not, but he teaches her a bit of french and it stays in her memories.

She calls people imbeciles instead of anything else, refuses to, unless she uses some other fancy word.

The jealous j*v*a gag was never funny but girl really got jealous over a CAT and Gray dancing for fun with his child teammate. Do people really find this endearing? funny? She makes every interaction Gray has into something gross. Don't get me wrong it isn't funny when she does it with Lucy either (this is an extremely toxic relationship and I don't like to see it portrayed as cute or funny), but her acting like he's into Frosch or Wendy disgusts me (idk if it makes sense haha)

Oh, you make perfect sense to me, Anon, and you make such a good, damning point against juvia.

I love how you phrase it because it's just so accurate:

The fact that in juvia's mind, Gray could be a p*dophile or someone who practices b*stiality, is just beyond disturbing, for multiple reasons.

A, if she really thinks Gray is capable of those things, and still "loves" him, then what does that make her? Someone who supports those things too. Jail. Jail right now.

B, despite thinking those things about Gray, there's no acknowledgement from juvia that that's so very wrong, there's just, as you say, jealousy. Instead of putrid disgust, juvia feels jealous over a child and a cat. That's revolting, immoral, and just downright pathetic.

C, it just shows how juvia does not know Gray at all, what his values are, whom he loves, what kind of a person he is. And nor does she care. And yet this is the woman we're supposed to want to be with him. Right. That checks out.

D, what's more, Gray can do no wrong in her eyes (clearly), so if Gray likes Wendy or Frosch, guess what, it's not Gray who's the problem here- it's the child and the animal. They're her love rivals, they're whom she must conquer in a battle of love. The two who would be victims to Gray if this deluded insanity juvia believed about him was true are the very ones juvia points her gnarled finger at and declares war on. (Hypothetical) Victim-blaming/abuse at its finest.

You're right, Anon, that this jealous gag isn't funny even when inflicted on women of Gray's age and species. It's just uncomfortable, cringe, toxic, malicious, and sad. But it's infinitely more despicable when juvia's delusions and fantasies paint such a horrid picture of Gray and those around him, where his morals are misrepresented, his reputation tarnished, where such evil, perverse things are presented as if we're supposed to laugh at it.

This point doesn't get talked about enough (by myself included), but it truly is one of the most damning pieces of evidence of why juvia is a loathsome, detestable human being, and why she should never be with Gray.

I guess I started disliking Juvia once I realized she didn't function outside of her love for Gray. Dislike intensified with the many times Gray rejected her and showed he was uncomfortable about her behaviour.

Then I started hating her when she showed up in Isvan, guilt tripped Gray into forgiving her for doing what needed to be done (without saying she was sorry, mind you) and then relishing in his vulnerability, because he broke down in tears in her chest. She was blushing when Gray broke down, and blushing intensified when he made physical contact with her. All she could say to the boy she "LoVeS" read lusts after is "You're warm".

I honestly don't care if Gruvia becomes canon; it'll still be a trash, toxic ship. Just because the author makes a ship canon, doesn't make the ship perfect all of a sudden. If juvia didn't change her behaviour after knowing Gray returned her feelings, she never will. One just needs to look as far the first few chapters of the 100 YQ spin off to understand this.

SasuSakus are comparing JinXiao (Jin x Xiaoyu) and some are even saying that Jin copied Sasuke's hairstyle when it wasn't even close. Sure, there were similarities but Jin debuted in 1997 during Tekken 3's release while Sasuke in 1999 when the Naruto manga debuted in WSJ. If anything, Sasuke "copied" Jin's hair style. Jin's look is an amalgamation of Kazuya's hair with Jun's bangs. In series description says that Jin got Jun's face more than Kazuya's, which is similar to how Naruto is often said to have inherited Kushina's face.

SasuSakus are delusional to compare JinXiao with them since Jin left Xiaoyu much like Sasuke left Konoha and Sakura. However, it is not even close as Jin was gunned down in Tekken 3 but came back to life and fled the scene. He went into hiding and discarded everything about the Mishimas. However, unlike Sasuke, Jin really cared for Xiaoyu so much that he sent her an anonymous e-mail warning her about the Mishimas plus he didn't even lay a hand on her, unlike what Sasuke did with Sakura. If anything, when they reunited in Tekken 8, Jin wasn't annoyed at her. He was comfortable with her, much like how Naruto and Ichigo are comfortable with their ladies. Jin just wanted her to be safe as she, along with his mother Jun, are the most important people in his life. Also, a huge factor of Jin's decision to push Xiaoyu away is due to the Devil Gene, as it can be uncontrollable and can be passed on to the next generation.

Man, I kinda hate SasuSakus and some Naruto fans who think that Naruto became the basis of many franchises when in reality, it wasn't the case. Much like many franchises, it also got inspiration from others. SasuSaku is like a toxic version of VegeBulma, where they also share the character dynamics with. Many SasuSaku deny it.

Sorry for the long rant but I can't help but be annoyed at them for making a fuzz on other franchises.

Remember when they tried to make Gray from Fairy Tail like Sasuke just because both Juvia and Sakura were obsessed with them but like……when did Sasuke EVER show care to Sakura even when they knew each other for YEARS????

Gray saved Juvia the first time they met and THATS why Juvia loves Gray. Sakura only liked Sasuke as a CHILD because of his LOOKS not because he ever saved her. Hell even then, if Sakura were actually like Juvia she’d love INO for saving her not Sasuke who did nothing for her.

Sasuke blatantly didn’t give a shit about Sakura after they spent school together! Gray just met Juvia (and knew she was the ENEMY) and saved her life.

This just shows that SS can never stand on their own. They’re like leeches attaching themselves to NH, GJ, and the ship you talked about to show how “healthy” and “normal” their ship is.
