The peony season is almost over and I want to bit these absolutely gorgeous flowers a grand farewell with one of the best photos that I have taken of them so far. I mean, look at this burgundy colored, sumptuous, gorgeousness! I also like the metal spiral-shaped support structures that a caring gardener must have placed around these peonies when the plants where small to hold up the heavy blooms when in full flower. I think they are so tasteful, they add to the plants and don’t take away from their beauty. The photo was taken in England a few years back. On another note, I want to thank everyone who has commented on my previous post. I felt so uplifted by your responses and today I am in a much better state of mind with regards to the spread of the coronavirus.
