I like to think of it as aging process, Tim 13-14(? I dont know old he was) "raised" by rich white republican aka Jack internalizing some of his bullshit vs Tim 16-17 radicalized and cringing at the shit he used to say when younger before rolling another blunt to smoke. Character development

I'll concede when he gets older tim would probably try to smoke with the core four because peer pressure but then he'd roll the worst joint imaginable and get kicked out of the smoke sesh. Also Jack Drake being republican is so damn funny to me. People say Tim had an easy life they had no idea he had to live with someone who probably voted for Reagan do they know what that does to a poor developing child <///3
