So if Kaido's mom and Saiki's mom get married, doesn't that mean that Saiki would be a stepbrother to the Kaido siblings? Imagine the chaos... Saiki would move out after 3 days.

I THINK W/HOW MUCH HE LOVES KIDS he'd actually be a really big benefit for Sora and Toki as a matter of like a grounding influence. Freeing him from Kuniharu would probably also release a lot of chaos from his life cus Kuniharu incepts a LOT of it that Kusuo then needs to fix. because they're so new to him, the Kaidou family probably wouldn't have the expectation of him so Kusuo would probably actually have a little more time to relax.

He's already used to dealing w/Shun's chuunisms (and i think is endeared by them which is maybe why he uses Dark Reunion as a prop a lot). Soras main deal is she wants quiet to study - Kusuo can help her with that, he's shown to tutor Shun in canon. And Toki already likes him cus Shun's gassed him up so much, same w/their mom.

I think the biggest conflict is that if Kurumi and Ayumi (my fan name for Kaidous mom has got it going on) become closely involved enough to merge households, that'd necessitate telling the Kaidous that Kusuo is a psychic, and tbh Shun probably would need

uh

time to get used to that concept. We see that in the pseudo-finale w/the volcano he starts to flip out over secret keeping, and if that secret so happens to be the thing that he thinks he wants most - cool powers - I worry he wouldn't have the emotional maturity to handle that super well even if he's already attached to Kusuo as a brother figure debatably (tho i do think @dead-in-a-ditch is spot on w/that take about Shun's fantasies being inspired by his want for a 'little brother figure' to look up to him). Fortunately we've already been shown that their friend group is ready to step in and help Shun manage that, and I think Kurumi would be a really good influence for Shun there too. She doesn't tolerate Kusuo isolating or possibly 'bullying' Yuuta, I don't think she'd tolerate that from Shun either (even if Kusuke v Kusuo conflict seems to be normalized).

I think if anything prompted Kusuo to run away it'd probably be that. The secret of his powers causes him so much stress, and so does the idea that his friends might handle it badly, and if Shun actually does handle it badly he might get triggered enough to fly off. Whether or not he'd be allowed to stay gone is another matter entirely. Ayumi is a lot stricter than Kurumi after all >) And she really does want the best for her kids even if it's really easy to read that as stifling for the way she prefers good grades and the social ladder as a way to succeed. But ofc Kurumi is so lackadasical about that they'd probably counter-balance that really splendidly~~~

shes got really cool hair and i headcanon that her teeth are sharp and that the deadly aura she emits is a psychic power. her acedemia prowess and atmospheric distortion combined with toki's ass kicking skills and ayumi's pressuring is top 10 reasons why shun has a complex.

but also back to her hair her hair reminds me of darude sandstorm.
