yessss oh my got I've been waiting for such a request!!!

also if you want me to write with more characters, list them up, okay? I don't know who else you'd like to do, so I just wrote about Kaiser and Sae. Also please put in the gender as well, this one is with a gender-neutral reader.

Kaiser:

it happened in germany, where you and him were over at a friends house, where a party took place. Kaiser was having the time of his life, proudly showing you off, with his hand on your waist as you guys chatted away.

Some time later, you had to use the bathroom, and you excused yourself. After you were done and about to go back to your boyfriend, another guy cut you off on your way.

You looked at him with a smile. "Could you please step to the side?", you asked in a friendly tone, but the guy only smiled back. "Say...are you single? You're really cute.", he said softly.

You frowned. You were sure he was one of the guys who sat closest to Kaiser and you when Kaiser announced that you two were a happy couple.

"No, I am taken. Please let me go now.", you speak in a more firm voice, the guy however only puts on a sweet pout. "Not even a chance?"

"You couldn't even buy her a drink, let alone catch her attention,", Kaiser's voice says and you light up when you see Kaiser behind the boy.

The guy in front of you sighs before winking at you charmingly and turning around, bumping shoulders with Kaiser.

Kaiser glared at him. "Hurensohn.", the german growled and the guy only "tch"ed. Seems like the guy was a german as well...

You looked at Kaiser gratefully as he held your hands and kissed them. "He didn't touch you, did he?", Kaiser mumbled as he looked at you through a sad frown. He was disappointed in himself.

angry at himself for not sensing something sooner and thus not being able to having saved you sooner.

But, it all vanishes when you giggle. "No, he only leaned against the wall weirdly. And what does "Hurensohn" mean?"

Kaiser's face turned blank for a moment before he smiled at you. "It means nothing, really. It's like...a uh...yes, a cheer up thing! Like, he failed to court you, and germans say "Hurensohn" to each other to cheer each other up!"

...

Ness messed up a goal in practise and you and Kaiser where there too. You were the only Non-German in practise, and when you saw Ness shoot the metal instead of the net, you 'cheered him up.'

"Hurensohn!", you yelled.

Ness looked at you with a disturbed face, feeling utterly insulted. Kaiser quickly turned around and tried not to laugh out loud. Ness looked at Kaiser then in suspicion.

The other players only looked at you with a frown.

You were confused.

You actually called Ness son of a bitch. but nobody told you after Kaiser explained what happened.

Now, Ness became a "Hurensohn".

Sae:

You and Sae were actually just taking a walk after he used you as a therapist again, and you did your best to comfort him. He told you about what happened in spain, how he felt bad for being so mean and rude to his younger brother and how he wished to play with Rin again.

Now, you two were holding hands. You two came to a small resting place. It was selling donuts. Sae looked at you with a small smile.

"Wait here.", he instructed you before jogging into the entrance. You looked around and enjoyed the fresh air.

Suddenly, a quiet voice took your attention. You turned to the side to a shy looking boy. "Uh...hi. I-I think you're very pretty...and um..", the guy started but you shook your head.

"I'm taken sir.", you said. But the guy didn't want to give up yet. "I-I know that I might not look like much, b-but I promise I'll be a great boyfriend and-"

"are you a geat footballer who plays soccer and represents a country?", Sae's gruff voice asked and thy guy flinched. He wuickly turned around and locked eyes with Sae's angry turpuoise ones.

"Fuck off.", cue the stranger quickly excusing himself with a red face.

Sae glared at the guy until he was gone, and then he looked at you with a sad face. "I'm sorry, it was stupid of me to tell you to wait outside...", he apologized as he looked at your pretty face.

You shook your head again. "No, don't be, Sae. Nobody could've predicted this, and no harm done, right?", you asked as you hugged his arm. He smiled at you.

"Yeah. no harm done."

How Did We Get Here: Keiwa

So since everyone seems to be taking part in the Keiwa Morality argument. Here's my two cents, dismiss it if you want.

Like. Look. Keiwa teaming up with the DGP to exploit Tsumuri's powers is clearly a crossing of the Moral Event Horizon. That's clear, and I don't think we can dispute that. What I'm having a hard time dealing with is that most people seem to be lacking an understanding of the "why" of his plan (rather than just going to Ace in the first place) and going straight to "the writers are bad/sabotaging his character/doing all of this for no reason" argument.

So: why is Keiwa doing his plan (which is roughly "vengeance, stop for brunch/kidnapping, and then reset the world to accomplish my original goal in the first place") in this way?

See, the thing y'all haven't noticed is that, number one, Ace and Tsumuri literally cannot just fix this themselves. It's been assumed by some that because of their godly powers, the two can just fix the problem instantly by bringing Sara back. But judging by the things we've seen in the show, there are way too many holes with this idea. Remember, Ace and Tsumuri have (somewhat) limits; Ace himself lamented that he couldn't do more with his power outside of giving everyone their DGP memories back, and that was with Geats MK9, and Tsumuri just learned that she has goddess powers like. a week ago? Unless she's been training, that kind of power has been shown to very rarely activate on its own volition, instead occurring under extreme stress. While using the power itself is reliable, the two people connected to it are not.

Speaking of: Keiwa's relationship with Ace is, naturally, strained at this point. There's the opinion that because of PunkJack's Wacky Woohoo Expository Conference back in Episode 37, that Keiwa was supposed to just. magically let go of his grudge for the Goddess and be on Ace's side again. And that's kinda weird??? I'm not going to go into it (this post is long enough), but one press conference that implies that "because Ace was born, the Goddess ain't evil and is being used", without providing a concrete thing of "oh hey, she's not doing this of her own free will", really doesn't resolve things for Keiwa's low opinion of... pretty much everything at this point. And with Ace being, as usual, pretty mum about the situation, Keiwa still holding onto the grudge, especially now that Ace appears to have taken her place, and having pretty much lost everything at this point it's not entirely hard to see why he's lost faith in him.

Which makes it so that his "best option" (which is really not that but Keiwa doesn't know that) is to team up with the DGP. He clearly doesn't want to considering all the bullshit they've put him through, but he's still locked in the opinion that the wish that the DGP grants is the only way to accomplish his goals, which is a point that also wasn't resolved during the previous arc, leading to how we got to this point. So, using Tsumuri's power, with a deal from the DGP, in order to revive everything after his Vengeance Tour 2K23, is hypothetically his best shot. Is this a good way to process grief? Hell no! But as long as this path is open, and that the dueling opinions of "Ace can't help me rn, so I have to do it myself" and "the goddess still needs to pay for her sins (<- doesn't know about the whole "trapped as a statue thing)" still exist, he'll still try and do it. As long as his sister is safe, regardless of the consequences.

Lastly, going into this Keiwa doesn't have a healthy mentality. At all. Keiwa was one corn chip away from having a breakdown several times before this, and losing his only family to the same fucking guy that killed him... yeah, he's very far from mentally stable at the moment. With Kekera egging his misery on from the sidelines, like, my guy has snapped, and making impulsive, selfish, not very well thought out (remember, he's teamed up with the DGP) decisions with the "best" intentions is very in-character for him, whether we all like it or not. All of the things I've said beforehand are, in Keiwa's really fucked up mental state, valid reasons to do this.

And you know what? Probably not valid! He needs to go to therapy, or something. But he can't (and not only because describing the DGP would make you sound insane), and he won't, so he's Lazer Focused on this instead.

It's... honestly kind of depressing when you think about it. But those are my thoughts on the matter. At the very least, it looks like his wish will result in a monkey's paw effect... and maybe that will snap him out of it. Maybe then he'll just finally talk to Ace and the others, and clear up the sheer amount of miscommunication at the bottom of the issue.

...we have at least 8 episodes left though. So I might not count on it though.

MEXICAN GP RACE RECAP

Interesting FP1 with the tests for Pirelli and 5 reserve drivers on the grid.

The 5 drivers were :

Theo Pourchair -> Alfa Romeo

Oliver Bearman -> Haas

Isack Hadjar -> AlphaTauri

Jack Doohan -> Alpine

Frederik Vesti -> Mercedes

Out of these 5 I think Bearman showed geat potential.

Both Ferraris had car issues that oddly enough were repaired before the end of the session.

Didn't get to watch FP2 ( I was way too tired bc of work) and im kinda bummed about it. I saw it rained at some point and after that Leclerc didn't manage good laps, wasn't as fast ?

FP3 was a bit all over the place imo, they tried testong for qualy and race pace... all of it in 60 min.

Albon was really good all through the 3 practices !

Stroll impeding on Sainz was a bit too much, not for the impeding itself but more bc of how dangerous it was.

QUALIFY

I think the main surprise here was Ricciardo, I mean, we all know he is a very good driver but did we expect him to end up P4 ?

As soon as qualify started, it was clear there was a difference with track temperature. Albon was great during practice but as soon as temp was a bit lower felt a huge difference with the car (could it be he had actual damage?).

Leclerc impressed everyone setting a very good time on Mediums, honestly couldn’t believe it when I saw it.

Norris surprised everyone (me included) by not making it to Q2. It looked like he really struggled to put together a decent lap… and the yellow flag certainly didn’t help.

The yellow flag also made another victim, Sargeant received a 10-place grid penalty for overtaking during a yellow flag.

As opposed to Q1, Q2 was very uneventful.

Alonso was left out of Q3, this last part of the season is really not being kind to him.

Albon was left out of Q3 for track limits, he really struggled with the car.

Ferrari got a first row lockout (😍), what could possibly go wrong ?

As said before, Ricciardo got P4… in an AlphaTauri ! Let that sink in ! He really did a miracle !

Perez got outqualified by Ricciardo.

Perez in a RedBull got “beaten” by Ricciardo in an AlphaTauri.

Verstappen got P3, and this is possibly the only track where starting on poleis not the best thing so I think he will be P1 out of Turn 1.

RACE

We knew it was gonna be an interesting race from the start. The Ferraris didn’t have a good start and Verstappen took advantage of that. Perez was eager to do good in his Home race but ended up half on top of Leclerc’s car and being OUT of race.

In the contact with Perez, Leclerc suffered a minor front wing damage that has been investigated for Unsafe Driving Conditions but found in compliance so no further action was taken.

Magnussen had a pretty bad accident, probably a problem with his car, and went into the barriers (hopefully he is okay). This caused a RED FLAG that played in favor for Red Bull and a little against Ferrari (strategy wise); in the restart Leclerc mantiened P2 on Hamilton but then got overtaken by Lewis, also because Hamilton was on Mediums and Leclerc was on Hards.

Norris proved to be a great driver and McLaren proved to have made important upgrades to the car in the second half of the season… from P17 to P5, wow 😮!

Also happy Ricciardo got his first points in this season and too bad for Tsunoda, he was having a good race until that contact with Piastri.

Ferrari didn’t do bad but they proved they have many issues still, especially with hard tyres.

"Ace shouldn't have given back the memories/wishes of everyone" wrong, take a media literacy class and rewatch Geats again

Geats had been CONSISTENT about there being no wishes that are not worth fighting for. Remember when even KEIWA's speech in Fox Hunt was justaposed with flashes of Mary and Da-Paan as well? Because Keiwa UNDERSTOOD.

Ace's main thing is, that everyone deserves a shot at happiness, and is allowed to fight for it. Taking away someone's spark might cause a temporary illusion of happiness, as we saw with Win's bandmate, and even with Neon, but it is brainwashing and it is wrong, and the show takes a clear stance at it.

Nobody gets to decide who deserves being fucking brainwashed. The DGP was toying with people's lives, taking away their deepest wishes, IS WRONG.

Like I can't believe we are still at this point. Brainwashing people is wrong. End of. Period. Even if you hate the character, magically altering their minds to make them forcibly conform to what is socially acceptable is WRONG.

"But Da-Paan was misanthro---" I don't care. Because once you take an exception to the rule, once you go "oh so-and-so is so bad, might as well brainwash them for the greater good", who are you to decide what is "too far"?

Neon said it best to him. Try to find happiness on your own. Taking away part of his personality would taking away the hardships of NEEDING TO GROW AS A PERSON.

Sato-san's line delivery, which overflows with the composure that only someone strong could have, also made an impression, and his coolness ("kakkoii") became the talk of the town even amongst the regular cast members.

A new Rider with a tasteful red colour appears = Regad. The action stunt [for the Rider] is also fierce and brutal, traced from Jitto.

That Jitto is regrettably leaving.

He increased the tension for us in the final stage of 'Geats'. 'It would be nice if I could make an impression,' said Sato Ryuji with a smile during the costume fitting. (His true self is someone who is mischievous and playful.)

We part ways with Jitto-san here. Because he appeared from Episode 39, the he's appeared fewer than 10 times, but with that expression and performance overflowing with a commanding presence and dignity as well as his gorgeous action stunts, he really brought us a lot of fun and excitement!

The episode of Ryuji's appearance in "Fourze" (2011), the first episode that Jitto appeared in, and this episode, he has a deep connection with Director Shibasaki, who directed the various episodes! Let's meet again somewhere someday!

And so, the reveal of his transformation is limited to [this] 1 time! Jitto-san, whose transformation became a very rare thing!

Also, he [Ryuji] smells really, really nice. Even when he's walking 50 meters in front of me, he smells nice. That's how nice he smells.

I started watching Kamen Rider and Super Sentai this year and I feel like I picked a really good year, the current shows are fascinating.

Kamen Rider Geats had a really good set up as a battle royale style critique of capitalism and granting happiness to a few at the expense of many, all for the entertainment of the super rich who are disconnected from it. I don't think it stuck the ending - it simultaneously felt like it should have ended earlier, but also didn't have enough time to set up the final villain - but the ride was good.

Now there's Kamen Rider Gotchard which is alchemists collecting rogue power cards. Right now it looks like a cross between Full Metal Alchemist and Card Captor Sakura, which are not bad comparisons and I'm honour-bound to watch it as a Kamen Rider series which uses playing cards.

Then finally Ohsama Sentai King Ohger, aka Lord King Squad King Kinger, aka Sentai of Thrones, which has kinda stealthed itself into being one of my favourite things.

I think @cina-full-moon-xanadium has put it best:

But there's a lot of interesting stuff in here! I don't call it Sentai of Thrones solely for a joke, it's pitched at a young audience, but it does cover a lot of the messy elements of leadership: each member of the team is a king and they have conflicting goals for their countries; there is a plot where it's revealed that a villain killed an advisor to act as a double agent for the better part of a decade; rival brothers have fought over the right to their country's throne and a vassal-king from a different country has been trying to play them off against each other, only for it to be revealed that the vassal-kings sister was being held as hostage-fiancée by one of the brothers.

And now they have just wrapped up the forever war by making peace with the evil monsters, only for it to be revealed after a time skip that their entire conflict was brought about by a cruel and capricious god and it does all this while still being fun and silly. It's an amazingly well done balancing act that reminds me of Gurran Lagann, another of my favourite shows!

I may continue to jot down my thoughts here in between promoting my streams, sharing cat pictures for my mod, and reblogging whatever amuses me so... watch this space I guess?

Now that we're done with the whole "Tycoons very bad no good life" arc I would like to make two things abundantly clear....

1) Keiwa has done nothing wrong, he was right, he was justified. Ace and Neon are bad friends who abandoned him after his sister died and only started to notice again when he was actively taking steps to save thousands of lives.

"Oh but- But Fake! He fucked up by wishing for a new world! They could have saved his sister and-". Yeah did they tell HIM that? Did they know that before he did the only logical thing to save everyone? Naw! Naw son! Keiwa is blameless here. He did the right thing. Yeah it monkey pawed in his face but when the only alternative was "Hope Ace can fix it" I don't blame him for a second.

Keiwa is the best secondary rider since Date. There I said it and I meant it.

2)...

Kekera might be one of my favorite villains of all time. He's da joker baby, he's a silly little frog man, he's your biggest fans and he's written slash fiction of his favorite blorbo, all hurt and no comfort. His one and only goal is to make Keiwa the most entertaining Kamen Rider he can be. RIGHT to the end it was all to push Keiwa into being a better hero.

I love funky frog man. He's the best Reiwa villain and right up there with the Bugsters in how interesting and cool his implementation is.

I knew from the start that Keiwa would be the best part if Geats and I was not wrong.

Her two favorite teas are Maofeng and Organic Silk Dragon Jasmine. Ming Long introduced her to both, and she's loved them ever since. Three centuries later, they're luckily still easy enough to find on Terra. She may or may not have gone on super intricate and comedic undercover missions just to obtain some as a Starfleet fugitive.

Girl can cook. She doesn't do it very often, and usually burns food intentionally so no one asks her to again, but she can absolutely whip up a beef wellington, macarons, consommé-- though she is by no means a professional. Just someone that has hyperfocused on some things in the path of perfection. Someday she wants to master making decent Suodui.

I truly cannot recall if I've ever written about this or not, oh well. The reason she forsook her birthname is due to a metamorphosis, a way to break the cycle of trauma that had plagued her since childhood. Vega believes that by going by a new name, she was able to shed the vilest parts of herself. As far as she is concerned, Lovisa died on earth, in a remote forest, screaming her throat raw with ghost and man alike. This obviously isn't the case, unfortunately: now it's Vega that wakes up from night terrors, freezes at certain mannerisms and words, stares holes into blank spots yards away. The only truth is that she's older now, with more control over herself (some, in any case) and a tendency to repress.

three things your character likes doing in their free time:

Painting. The one every knows, because it's her thing. If she can't paint, she'll sketch or doodle. This is also a sort of idle habit for her.

Sudoku. Shocking that the astrophysics nerd would enjoy logic game. Yet she does, and she can spend hours going through the gazillions of puzzle books she's amassed.

Solitude in nature. That doesn't happen so much anymore, though when she's planetside, she enjoys exploring and discovering the local fauna and flora.

eight people your character likes / loves: She doesn't even have eight in her life RIP, unless one counts the augments in general. That's more of a general I love my people/kin/crew than anyone too specific.

Ming Long: Her first love, on Earth in the 90s. Vega lost her to the war, and it planted the seed that lead to her resentment of humanity.

Levi: Her brother, for better or worse. While he's mostly a thorn in her side, she does love him. After all, he's gone through most of the same awful things she has., even if they cope with it in very different ways.

Most other characters are verse dependent (@rickgrimesdoingrickthings, @vuulpecula, @respondedinkind specifically :p). She doesn't get attached to others very easily.

two things your character regrets:

In a way, she regrets her relationship with her brother. She wishes that she could have been a better sibling to him, helping him instead of closing herself off, and essentially leaving him to be as lonely as she felt. That's why she lets him into her life so often, speaking solely for modern verses, because she's trying to make up for something she really hadn't actually done.

In her main verse, she eventually regrets her distrust of Khan's vision, of having even toyed with the notion of betrayal-- or even of defection. It's a point where she's able to self-reflect and realize that her own ideas were invariably flawed. Whether she realizes this too late or not depends on the thread/verse, of course. :p

two phobias your character has:

Today, I went to see Kamen Rider The Winter Movie: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy★Great Gotcha Operation. I go to see the Kamen Rider movie every year, but I really went to see this movie as well.

I especially thought that the voice of Geats Chemy was Fubuki Shirakami from Hololive, which was the best part.

I like Fubuki, so I went to see this movie thinking that I couldn't miss it, and that was the main reason why I went to see it.

Sakurai Keiwa

Kissing Keiwa is like tasting this homecooked meal that warms your entire body and fills it up with sunshine and cozies you up by the fireplace. Kissing him is simply the best because Keiwa is so innocent and kind and gentle that half of the time he doesn’t know what to do and panics. It’s not bad per say but he lets his emotions get the better of himself and melts into the kiss that he is meant to enjoy. He gets to relax and feel the flow of things at his own pace. Keiwa is simply happy to kiss you, inside and out. He holds your face close to his and tilts his head at just the right angle that just makes it fucking right. When you two part he has these flushed cheeks and this fucking dumbly cute smile to his lips and chuckles and questions if it’s okay to kiss again and of course it is!!! It’s Keiwa! You can’t deny him anything!!!!

Public affection isn’t rare at all! It’s sweet and gentle as everything you could hope for and kissing Keiwa!!! He starts off mostly with cute little cheek and nose kisses, up and down your face just to build up anticipation. He can’t help it!! It’s like…it’s like he needs to put his energy out there somehow and in someway! You’re like the best outlet for this because he wants to show the world how much he loves you. Hand kisses are common during these kinds of times, other than pecks on the lips or cheeks and forehead. He’s so bouncy and bubbly during these times as well!

Keiwa’s fave kisses are when you two are just cooking together or just in your own space and headspaces just existing. There’s no DGP to worry about and he’s a big fan of the mundane sort of vibes. He’ll wrap his arms around you and hold you close, swaying to whatever music he has in his head and pepper kisses up and down your form. It’s kisses like these that reminds him that he’s…home.

If you happen to also be a Rider in the DGP, there’s a ritual of kisses that will be shared between you two before you go out to fight in a round - or in the locker room. It’s something people have seen often (especially the other Riders, Neon almost looks on in jealousy but Ace smirks and chuckles and teases) but he kisses you because he also knows there could be anything that could happen between you two. Even though you two are in love…he kisses you like it’s the end of the world. It doesn’t matter as well if you’re a simple civilian but you’ll forget him one day. Keiwa will drink in every single little bit he can get. He holds on to you longer during these times, and…what if he forgets too? The world will be reset, he’ll forget, you’ll forget and…you may lose your desire for one another. But Keiwa is going to find his way back to you. No matter what. So his kisses are desperate to convey each and every emotion he has for you and they end with his smile and your foreheads against each other’s, hands holding tightly. “Promise me, we’ll never stop loving each other, okay?”

Kiss his fingers!!! Kiss his hands!!!!!!!! And especially kiss his chest!! Keiwa has such a big ol’ heart that it needs to be taken cared of! His fingers too. He’s deft and he works multiple part time jobs to help support his sister after all. But now that he’s working in the soba noodle shop, sometimes the hot broth or boiling water can scald him. You kiss his little welts and wounds to make him giggle and it brings about such ticklish sensations! He loves it whenever you do this to him when you two cuddle together, talking about whatever or just soaking up each other’s presence. Keiwa lives for these moments. You take care of him and he takes care of you. It’s a perfect cycle!!!

Kurama Neon

Kissing Neon is a fairytale, it’s puzzle pieces fitting together and your hearts blooming with truest of loves. She’s smiling into this kiss, no matter if it’s the first, third, or hundredth time. It’s a kiss that’s freeing to her, allowing her heart to throw itself out of the cage it had built and into your awaiting arms. She clings on to you no matter the kiss, her dainty little hands ensuring that you are never alone and will never leave her alone either. She’s clingy like this but can you blame her? She never felt the truest love of a person like this so she HAS to understand it, to remember it. Who knows if she’ll ever get this chance again? With the worlds resetting and all.

Oh Neon is a fucking kiss monster! She will take every and all opportunity to send you kisses. Blow you kisses from across the room? Yes. Kisses up and down your body and face? Duh. Kisses on your hands and fingers? Absofuckinglootely. See, Neon isn’t shy about her affection once she has you. Sure she’ll squeal and be a bit coy and timid, with a cute flushed face and hiding behind her hands, but Neon will melt whenever you return her kisses with the same amount of gusto! It’s like a contest to see who is a better kisser!!!! And who can kiss the most parts of the other. It’s like a permanent honeymoon phase.

Whenever she posts stuff on Neon TV, sometimes she’ll have a good luck kiss from you before the stream starts! It’s like a good luck charm to ensure the stream will go well! And honestly, sometimes she’ll sneak kisses during the video! You two are out reviewing a dessert place?? Neon scoots her chair closer to yours and feeds you, and kisses a bit of cream away from the corner of your lips. Sure, her fans go fucking WILD, but Neon just has eyes for you and only you!!! There’s this lovestruck look to her face as she presses another “free” kiss to your cheek whenever this happens.

Neon has the most to lose if she is eliminated from a DGP. She’ll lose the desire for a love she always wanted and the love you finally gave her. She’ll rather die than lose this true love. So she kisses you as a princess would kiss her knight, to remember every single contour of your lips and the feeling of your own lips against hers. She has to remember before it disappears. She has to protect you, protect this love between you two. She’ll go through whatever it takes to ensure it stays like this, happy and healthy, and full of love. She’ll cling to you further during this time and give you this smile, “I’m going to fight for our love, because it’s worth it. You’re worth it.” And she makes each and every kiss worth even more than the last.

Neon’s fave kisses are secret stolen ones, when no one is watching and you two have all of the time in the world. Sometimes when her bodyguards catch her, and you two are running away from them and laughing oh so hard, you have to stop in an alleyway to kiss and peck your lips because of the adrenaline running through your veins. It’s a secret only you two know and only you two will keep. She loves moments when it’s just the world waiting for you two, and you have captured it in a bottle for yours to keep safe - no one has to know. Because true love can be found in every single little way you two kiss and every single action you two have together.

Azuma Michinaga

Michinaga’s kisses taste like…regret and smoke and somehow death at the same time. It’s passionate but biting and gripping. He doesn’t want to lose you but he does not know how to convey these sorts of words emotionally. So he pours them into his gestures as much as he can. He bites and nips at your lips as not a form of play, or to assert dominance but to almost ascertain that you’re there in front of him. It’s like a love nip. Sure it can be taken into sexy times but it’s rather obvious when Michinaga wants it. But to him, kisses are sparse and a form of affection he isn’t used to. It’s gruff and rough, sure there’s going to be teeth clacking against each other but by the end it’ll be a memory you two won’t forget.

You can fucking forget public kisses. With this man, you are getting NONE in public. Sure you’ll pout and maybe he’ll relent in the end but that’s it!!! That’s all you're getting! Nothing else!!! Michinaga’s kisses in public are very brief and he ends up with a bright red face after them. It’s best to tease him (or not, you don’t wanna provoke a bull) during these moments to see his ears turn red and he’s almost like dead lol. Michinaga will complain that you’re too clingy and whatnot but honestly, it’s worth seeing him like this!!!! He’s so fucking cute that you wan to tease him more!! He’ll get all pouty and try to walk away but he’ll come back for more kisses sooner or later. Just give him time.

Oh but when he comes back as part of the Jyamato faction, oh god…his kisses are much more brutal. They’re poison to your lips but it feels so good. He’s clingy now, claws digging into your skin even more so if you’re a Rider. Back when you two were competing against each other, it’s different. He wouldn’t kiss you but glare and have this little quip that demands you not to fucking die. You had better not. But now? When he’s reunited with you? Half sane and half not…Michinaga doesn’t think for a moment. He finds you and holds you, kisses you to the point your lips are bleeding. It’s almost terrifying to see him like this. But he missed you, and he won’t admit it much though.

Michinaga shows affection in other fashions, not kisses. They’re rare in itself, even when alone. He’s a little more affectionate when it’s just the two of you, however. These kisses last a little longer than normal, slower than normal, no reason to be in a hurry and no reason for teeth to clack and clang against each other. He doesn’t smile into the kiss but it’s one of the only ways he can properly communicate with you. There’s an underlying passion there now that you need to detect because it’s there but buried. He wants more, he wants to be closer but doesn’t know how. Be patient with him during this time. Coax him into kissing you more, use kisses as rewards.

Michi enjoys kisses on his head the most. It’s not that he uses his brain half of the time (he kinda doesn’t lol) but it’s more along the lines of easing the pressure there. It melts away hardened nerves and causes him to lean into each and every gesture that you give him. It’s something he doesn’t admit but it’s obvious to see. There’s this glint in his eyes that silently asks for more and who are you to deny him?!

Yasuhisa Furuhara interview with Shinji Kasahara (Timeranger's Time Fire and Kamer Rider Geats' Gya-Go) has english subtitles! The second part talks about the long process for the henshin pose in Geats but besides that, most of the interview is about Timeranger. The best parts are how insisting Furuhara-san could be and talking about Timeranger philosophy as a series after drinking too many highballs.

Last Song I Listened To

When I started writing this, I was being lazy and letting the YouTube algorithm pick songs for me and I was listening to this song, Unfucktheworld by Angel Olsen. I've been exchanging song recommendations with a friend for a while now and I guess she has gotten to know me pretty well because this is way up my alley.

But then another song came on--We Ride by Brave Girls (a.k.a. BB Girls)--and that became the new last song I listened to. It's another song that a friend recommended to me. This time it was a friend I've been emailing with back and forth about East Asian pop music. He's a big fan of City Pop, a genre that came out of Japan in the 80s, and he sent me a list of some recent kpop songs that are influenced by/reminiscent of City Pop, including this one. I took to it right away, and it was a big hit with my daughter.

I Told Sunset About You - I’m just one episode in to this one and I can already tell it’s going to hit me where it hurts. I took a break due to family visits and related stuff but I’m fixing to dive back in.

Moonlight Chicken - I got stalled out on this one just as it was getting good, thanks to some life stuff. I need to pick it back up!

Star Trek: Discovery - I’m a big Star Trek fan and recently rewatched everything from TNG through Voyager, but I hadn’t kept up with any of the newest series in years. I’m so glad I decided to start Discovery because it is shaping up to be one of my favorite Star Trek series. There are a lot of reasons for this. Really great LGBT+ representation is a factor. This is also is the first Star Trek series that has inspired more actor crushes in me than DS9. Michelle Yeoh in a corset! Tig Notaro as a cranky engineer! I’m dying over here.

Minato's Laundromat season 2 - I was looking forward to this as soon as it was announced, but with the usual anxiety that comes with a second season of a BL. I wasn’t 100% sure about the direction of the season at first, but now it’s settling in with some really interesting themes.

Reservation Dogs - I wasn’t entirely sure about this show when I first started watching during the first season. But not only did it grow on me, it has also been getting better and better. The latest episode, which focused in part on an abusive government-sponsored boarding school (of the sort designed to rob Indigenous kids of their culture), was one of the best of the series so far.

Edited to add: I forgot about Kamen Rider Geats! My family has been catching up on it and we're almost caught up just in time for the finale. I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would when I watched the first few episodes, but not as much as my partner (who said he thinks it's one of his favorite Kamen Rider series he's seen). I'm really impressed with the cast, though. I'd especially like to see the actors who play Keiwa and Buffa in more things in the future.

Currently Reading

I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of The Method: How the Twentieth Century Learned to Act by Isaac Butler for a while now, but I’m having an annoying situation where it keeps getting returned to the library even though I’ve renewed it. I could just start another book, but I don’t want to! This one is really interesting.

The vast majority of people spend a significant amount of their time watching (non-documentary) movies and TV series, which involves watching actors engage in this specific art form. And we have opinions about what constitutes good or bad acting. Yet most of us know so little about how acting is done, what kinds of theories underpin acting practice, how actors prepare for roles and scenes. I wanted to not only find out more about that, but also dig a little deeper into the differences between approaches and how they’ve branched off and clashed and so forth.

So far I’ve gotten a lot of good background and plenty to think about, even though I’m just getting to the point where the Method/System/whateveryoucallit is starting to take on in the US. I’m guessing it’s going to get even more relevant from there.

Current Obsession

I’m always obsessing about lots of things so I’m probably never going to be able to identify just one. Some currents ones are:

waiting for Utsukushii Kare: Eternal to be available with English subtitles somewhere, somehow

foraging blackberries, making jelly out of them, and baking biscuits to go with the jelly

waiting for it to be fall already because I hate sweating and I love wearing layers

finding my Animal Crossing character some decent glasses

thinking about possible BL/Jane Austen parallels for tumblr posts

finishing a post about psychological aspects of Utsukushii Kare that I’ve been writing off and on for months and that has gotten so long it will probably have to be split up into 3-4 posts
