sentijazz but sentinel is convinced that jazz will leave him eventually and he's made peace with that because he's so used to everyone just going away when they can't break through his dickish demeanor and he's sure that jazz loving him is a passing phase . it's not and jazz has to reassure him sometimes because despite the fact sentinel believes he's at peace with it, jazz is the best thing to have happened to him in recent times and him leaving would leave a new, slightly softer sentinel alone to devolve back into his old ways. and he doesn't want that. he doesn't think so, anyway
