MY PROBLEM WITH ANY STRAWHAT SHIPS IN ONE PIECE is that there are very few of them that I would see getting together during canon like..... i think the strawhat's whole thing is that they love each other and they love LUFFY in a way that is not exactly just friendship but not exactly romance either.... not exactly found family but not exactly a polycule either and yet sort of both at the same time yknow? that's the basis of their whole relationships, and so pairing any two of them together while they're still travelling feels ever so slightly wrong
