Hey! Thanks for checking out my writing here! I'm creating this masterpost so folks have an easier time finding my current works as well as seeing what has already been written or requested before submitting something new.

As always, I'm happy to answer any questions that folks have. :) Since this is a side blog, I can't reply to replies on my posts, so feel free to message or send me an ask if you just want to speak directly to me and get an answer.

BG3 Kinktober Recap

Phew. Kinktober 2023 for Baldur's Gate 3 is nearly over and I wanted to share some stats!

75 prompts were submitted

31 participants joined

61 works were created

over 221,000 words were written

This was the first time I ever ran any kind of challenge and I'm absolutely blown away by what we created here. Thank you so much to everyone who participated, whether by prompts or fills (or both), I appreciate you all so much.

Anyone seeing this for the first time: Please go check out the amazing works that were created this month!!!

Note: the public stats on the Collection are different from what I can see on the backend (at least for the number of people who signed up, but here I'm not sure if this is prompt givers vs. writers).

I'm adding some reflections on the Challenge under the cut and am inviting anyone who participated to share theirs as well! Please tag/reblog if you do, would love to see your thoughts.

First, the set up: Setting up this promptmeme challenge and collection on AO3 wasn't great. I don't think it was very intuitive, so it took me a good 2 hours to figure it out, with some tweaking here and there afterwards. But don't be discouraged! Once you know what to do it's alright. Feel free to message me with questions if anyone wants to run a similar challenge on AO3.

Some notes: I could have included an email but that would have been public and I wasn't really sure if I wanted that. I could have added mods to this challenge and probably should have, because my idea to check every submittal crumbled on Day 2 lol.

Overall people kept submitting prompts after prompts, especially after brainstorming sessions on discord servers, which I guess is the nature of this. I initally added several free forms and prompts to kick it off, but quickly there were more prompts than people available to claim, which is the nature of such challenges I guess. Many things were also submitted several times because people wouldn't check past prompts. I could have moderated this better but didn't have enough time, tbh.

Most fills were created in the first half of the month. There are still 28 unfilled claims that I don't expect to get filled, which is okay (I also had to drop a few claims because I overestimated my ability to fill them). Generally, for AO3, this is not ideal: since it's AO3 personally I felt more obligated to write fics, rather than drabbles, and of course that takes so much more time than drabbling short ficlets. Wish I would have specified this differently in the beginning.

Some personal thoughts from my poor writer brain:

I am such an insecure weak ass person, lol. I felt obligated to a fault to fill everything I claimed, dropped several prompts far too late, and completely soured my joy in writing smut in the process. I think I wrote too many fills in too short a time frame. I didn't enjoy the challenge as much as I could have as a result. This isn't on anyone in particular other than me, but I thought I would share in case anyone else struggled. Instead of claiming things I knew I could write well I constantly took prompts that were challenging (too challenging at times), including characters I rarely write or scenarios I wasn't particularly able to craft well (I know people enjoyed my fics but I guess I could have done better work with less pressure). I'm not sure why I did this. I think the prompts were just so great that the idea of filling sounded easier to me than actually doing the work LOL. I don't regret it, to be clear. I simply could have been better at going at this.

Promoting this was also something I should have done more, but my blog isn't really big (and that's fine) and to this day I keep forgetting adding my tumblr/discord underneath the AO3 fics I publish.

I really should not have worked on two series while doing Kinktober. It was distracting, in all directions. I still hope I did the fills, Keeping Score and Til Death justice. I love all my fic children equally.

So, what's next?

I know there's a huge demand for promptmeme challenges and people really want to send in prompts and places to fill. At the same time consistently checking prompts (and fills) to see if something is included that doesn't align with my values feels very intimidating, at least for me alone (I've been in fandoms for almost two decades, I know that at some point, something horrible will pop up in prompts or fills. I've seen it before, and it would anger me to no end if I would miss, say, a transphobic prompt or fill in my collection).

If anyone has ideas/suggestions/thoughts on that, please let me know.

i usually only do this in the springtime, but i want to get back into writing more than just exchange fics, so i've decided to do a little requesting event! usually i just kind of go nuts and post multiple fics a day, but with these requests i plan on spacing them out a little (to give all my writing its chance to shine). everything will be tagged with #winterficlets23.

Prompt 1: Viceroy trying to create a robot, but something went wrong (Bash/McFist/a robo-ape probably messed it up) and it caused an electric short-age to the whole town

Prompt 2: There's a thunderstorm at the end of class and everyone was advised to wait out the storm before they could get home, shenanigans ensues

Prompt 3: (contains human!Nomicon) the Nomicon thinks about all the good and bad things his current student has done

These prompts are best for ficlet prompts (specific scenarios always are), and unfortunately my ask box isn't open for that at the moment, but I'll turn them into three sentence prompts: blackout, stormbound, and human!Nomicon AU, reflections. I'm specifying what I'm boiling the prompts down to because I don't take specific scenarios for three sentence fic prompts anymore, so I ask for a word or two (along with the AU if it's an AU) for those, and this is how I'm going to list them in my three sentence fic list. (I'm still going to do your scenarios because I'm assuming you're new and don't know what I've been doing more recently, but this will give you an example of how a prompt can be boiled down.) You are welcome to still share any ideas you have, though! (It's always fun to see what people come up with.) I just won't necessarily turn them into ficlets.

Prompt 1 - Blackout

“Viceroy,” McFist growled in the sudden silence that seemed all the louder for the absence of any hum of machinery, “what did you do?”

Viceroy pinched the bridge of his nose��of course he’d get the blame for this when McFist, in all his enthusiasm, had been the one to activate the prototype before it was ready—but somehow summoned the patience to say, “It seems premature activation caused a power outage that, if the view out the window is any indication, is affecting the entire town; if you had waited—”

“The Ninja was right here,” snapped McFist, his words nearly—but not quite—covering up the sound of a pair of feet hitting the floor behind Viceroy and their owner no doubt dropped from above, “and if he’s going to show his face under my own roof, I’m going to send every WND we have after him!”

Prompt 2 - Stormbound

Randy didn’t think it would be too long before the rain let up enough for them to safely leave, but Howard—and clearly Heidi—had other ideas, since Howard had his phone out and was willingly watching Heidi’s Me-Cast, where she was saying, “Hey, N-villers, Heidi here with the DL on the downpour; the storm has us all stuck in school, so I propose a contest: first person to—hey!”

“First person to discover the real secrets of Norrisville,” continued Debbie, her face only partly in frame and the entire camera bouncing as she scrambled to keep the phone out of Heidi’s reach, “will win the prize. So how about it—who wants to unmask the Ninja with me?”

Prompt 3 - Reflections, Human!Nomicon AU

He would be lying if he called Randy his best student or his most skilled one, but Randy may well be the one who most embodied what it meant to be the Norrisville Ninja; he had a heart that wouldn’t fail him, and when he dealt with the likes of the Sorcerer and now the Sorceress, that was the most valuable of all.

Of course, he also had more luck than the last ten Ninjas combined, and at times like these, it was hard to accept (despite ample supporting evidence) that that luck was entirely natural and not the result of a magical artefact altering the luck of others and bending fortune to his own favour, no matter how well that would explain the current predicament.

We're also not sure if you have read these before, because we started our hunt in some predictable tags (sex pollen, fuck or die, bad guys made them do it, etc). You didn't include omegaverse in your trope list, but some has been included here because heats provide a lot of fodder for this type of dubcon. There isn't really a super hardcore formal structure to my prompts. Sometimes I'll reblog an ask game, and that can give you a format to work with in terms of prompts and characters, other times, I'm just answering a question about characters/my fic continuity in general. I also recommend familiarizing yourself with my writing so you don't ask for a fic I've already written. (Don't worry, I'm not saying you have to read 1,042, 293 words worth of fics before sending a prompt just... browse around. Get the vibe.) My AO3 is here.

I am a fey and arbitrary being, so if you send in a prompt, there is absolutely no guarantee you'll get a fic or an interactions. I reserve the right to decline certain requests, sometimes I'll even delete a request with no response (anons tend to be more subject to this than people actually asking from their blog) if it doesn't sit right with me. Although, it's worth noting that a lot of asks in my inbox are a result of me going "Oh that's interesting. I may work on that later," and then... not working on that later.

I don't write for ships I don't ship, I've got enough on my plate as-is.

It also helps if you specify whether you want a fic/ficlet or interactions.

I tend to write mostly for Overwatch, but I've also written fics for Star Wars, A Song of Ice and Fire, and DC comics.

So... that's about the size of it. I also just work on my own fics, so that's... an ongoing thing as well. Basically at any given time I am doing whatever the hell I want, and I am the first person I write for, so jot that down.

First of all, specify if you want nsfw or sfw (this is important information, and I can refuse the request if I don't receive this info). I only write scenarios, I really suck at headcanons. I also write A LOT, seriously, I try to write ficlets (one shots under 1000 words) when I get halfway through the word counter is over 2k lol so I push myself too hard to always venture into new things, for that reason you need to tell me if you want a longer or shorter one shot (long = 2k+; short = -1k)

what I do write:

smut: I'm not ashamed at all, so my smuts might as well scale from “let's make love under the moonlight” to “who's my slut? *sound of slap in the face* VERY fast. so tell me if you want something lighter or degrading; kinks: no need to worry, you can tell me your kinks that there will be no judgment here, the most that can happen is I refuse the request because I feel uncomfortable (but in no way will I disrespect you). I don't have extensive knowledge about all kinks so you can tell me which one you want and give me a brief explanation to see if I can write or decline - degradation: 10000/10, yes yes yes; fluff; angst: JUST YES! I'm not afraid to get heavy on angst so if you want me to make you cry just ask me; hurt comfort: Akaza is king of making his lover feel better, in his own way of course (like: “who made you cry? want me to bring you their head on a silver platter?” heh, just kidding. or not); gore, graphic content, very bloody scenes (torture and stuff): I write, but I can only post on another platform that doesn't kill my vibe heh; yandere!Akaza: Akaza is a demon, right? Drabble Prompt Request Rules

foreword: I just did this because I was bored and I’m impatiently itching to write more for jjk ngl. also, ya’ll know my drabbles aren’t really drabbles because they tend to be longer than they actually should - but I will try to make them shorter.

Rules

❁ I’ll be writing for JJK characters (adults only, please), but I don’t mind being requested a prompt from one of my written works/series, like Mugen Chronicles (e.g. Shizuka/Reader x Muzan, feel free to pair her with anyone if you like).

❁ This is mainly reader-insert. I’m also open to sfw or nsfw requests. Please specify which of the two (not details for scenarios, just to be clear).

❁ If you’re familiar with my content, I like my stories just like how I like my coffee: dark and bittersweet. It will still depend on what I feel about the prompt, really, but I don’t think the prompt list offers much room for fluff. 

❁ Despite posting this, I’m actually not all too keen to get a lot of requests lol because I’m still in semi-hiatus while working on a handful of WIPs, but I do appreciate it if I do get any at all. Though in case I put myself in a corner again, I’ll be limiting myself and will only be accepting the first five prompts (unless I change my mind). 

❁ Please be patient with me for being a slow writer 🙇‍♀️

Ficlet request!:one where it's a while after they've come back from Scotland, and the goat cheese business has taken off, giving them a sense of financial stability. So now that they can afford to take a break, the 2 of them go into town and they run into the young auctioneer, who isn't aware of the fact that johnny and gheorghe are a couple and he tries to come onto johnny in front of gheorghe. What would the reaction be? Angsty? Fluffy? I hope you see potential in this! Thank you in advance!!!

—“Johnny? Johnny Saxby?”Both heads turned to meet a bright face of freckles and an uncomfortably plucky smile. Johnny’s features stiffened, and whilst Gheorghe split a curious glance between the two, he made note of that expression. It was off, somehow; too tense, too cold, too unlike the soft recognition John eagerly offered estranged schoolmates.Yet, the young man evidently knew Johnny.Gheorghe stopped to patiently observe the exchange. Then, catching Johnny’s lips quirk with anxiety, he watched closer.

“It is, isn’t it?” The towhead’s feet shifted in place as if to plant himself. “Never forget a face.”

Johnny tongued the inside of his cheek, eyes skipping around. He could feel that soft, inquisitive gaze off to his right, warm and waiting, inadvertently feeding his unease.

“Well, how’re you keeping?”Johnny’s eyes remained dead of interest, inhaling anxiously through his open mouth. His tongue darted out to lick his lips dryly. “Supposed to be on ‘oliday,” he said. Fuck off, he hoped it conveyed.“Is that right? I hadn’t seen much of you, but it’s hard not to catch word of the Saxbys’ famous cheeses.”“Look, what d’ ya need for?”The blond’s smile slowly dampened, darting between Johnny and his unfamiliar friend. His chest rose, filling his lungs with air in an attempt to stoke already battered courage. This was his chance, and perhaps overzealously, he didn’t let it slip by.“Can we talk?” he murmured, just lowly enough to arouse suspicion. Johnny’s eyes fluttered shut with exasperation as he felt Gheorghe’s attention rouse instantaneously; calm, but increasingly alert.Mindful of a certain sore spot, Johnny’s head shook.“Why not? Said you’ve time off, didn’t you?”“Sorry,” Gheorghe interjected, brow knit. He gestured back and forth between them with a lax hand, proposing a question equally fit for either of them. “He is… a friend of yours?”“That’s one way to put it.” the auctioneer quipped, thinking himself sly, clutching to a messenger bag at his side. Gheorghe and Johnny’s eyes met momentarily.“‘Fore you came on,” Johnny specified, realizing the implications.“But we were.”“Once.” he countered, firm. “Year or some ago.”Gheorghe slowly understood. He watched with a certain intensity, jaw tense, unwilling to answer for him—standing somewhat back, even as the fellow stepped forward to search Johnny’s face urgently. “Come for a drink this time,” he pleaded, eyes glassy with determination. “I know a place.”With another brisk shake of the head, Johnny’s hands buried deep into his jacket pockets.“Why?”“Spoken for. I don’t do nothin’ like ‘at nowadays.”Gheorghe felt himself smile, chest full with pride.A soft, irritable huff left him before he began digging into his bag. He seemed to acknowledge their impasse, but the determination with which his hands searched spoke of another approach. He slid a small card from a taut leather wallet, handing it over insistently.“Here.” he offered. “If it doesn’t work out with him.”Johnny didn’t budge.Gheorghe nabbed the slip instead, sparing the man several more seconds of his awkwardly extended contact information. At first, he said nothing—then spoke up to clarify, if just to humor himself.“We will let you know.” he said, hand resting implicitly at the small of Johnny’s back.As he watched the auctioneer’s jaw go slack, his own brown eyes steady and nonplussed, his peripheral vision caught a glimpse of Johnny snickering widely at the floor.At last, by the way the boy spun on his heel, that seemed to get the point across.Gheorghe watched him stomp away awkwardly over the mud-slick ground, leaning closer to murmur something playful against the shell of his lover’s ear. “Any other broken hearts that I should know of, John?”Squirming from the warmth of his breath, Johnny grinned down and bumped him with an elbow.
