Ok, but you know what’s really emphasised here? The dichotomy between outer appearances and what happens behind closed with the major and minor families. And especially the dichotomy between Gun and Korn as parents and what that means for their children.

When we’re introduced to the minor family compound, it’s all “la we’re a big family here, do you see our communal table where we eat with our bodyguards?” But in reality, Gun showed no hesitation killing their spy Ken and beating up his son.

Meanwhile, “oh no my lucky knife got rusty because of love” Korn is busy moving his two future sons-in-law one son-in-law and his brother into their home while his highly professional, highly regimented bodyguard army provides romantic commentary in the background.

Vegas told Tawan the most important result of taking down Kinn would be Gun would accept them. Korn, for all that he advises Kinn otherwise, seems to accept and even support Kinn when Kinn chooses love after all.
