The reason the phenomenon that is Goncharov is so interesting to me is in part the fact that it’s basically an Ultra Advanced version of things like The Hot Springs in the Witcher fandom

There are these universally agreed upon aspects of this thing that everyone knows about and yet doesn’t really exist

#Kaer Morhen’s hot springs appear in just about every fanfic that takes place at the keep #they were never in canon #but they appear so much it’s become synonymous with Kaer Morhen #and it’s at the point where people genuinely think it was something mentioned once in canon #but it’s entirely made up by fanon #goncharov #gonchposting #the witcher #the witcher netfllix
