So ill thinking about how Akira and Ryuji are both guys who always sweep their own needs under the rug and always put others before themselves like and the fact that like. the two of them are the only ones who would be able to break through to each other because of that. They're both so stubborn about it, and they're both so stubborn about each other in turn, bc Ryuji will be damned if he lets Akira work himself into the ground without a second thought for his own wellbeing, and Akira will let hell freeze over before he lets Ryuji shoulder responsibility for everything and brush off his trauma. They just care about each other so much and they fit together so well bc no one else would be able to understand and break through like they do, and it gives me one million diseases thinking about them learning and growing to overcome these tendencies and be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. Together. And then they kiss about it ☝️

Endlessly tickled by the idea of Akira being a good shot but a shit gamer. I like to think its cause hes got incredible hand eye coordination and super steady ‘surgeon’ hands; hes very good with precise movements, but panics when he has to do brain melting inputs. His brain can keep up but its hard to make his hands follow suit. Its why u can have him be dogshit at arcade cabinets; panicking with the little joystick and button mashing like mad, while having him be a beast at things like darts and billiards.
The only arcade games he can play is house of the dead-esque shooting games (hes literally at the top of the leaderboards for MILES and he draws crowds whenever he plays) and DDR cabinets (hes just very light on his feet)(NOT to be confused with stepmania; he would die if he had to do arrow inputs with his HAND). Its kinda fun to watch him fumble with the other silly gimmick cabinets, but its more entertaining to watch him do what hes good at. If u take him to play darts, and if the darts are super cheap, he will absolutely try his best to split them down the middle each time. Doesnt always work, but its insane to know that he lands the bullseye literally 100% of the time.

Every time I think about the fact that Akechi was Joker’s justice, and vice versa, I lose my mind at how intimate it is.
Akechi made you promise before he died to take down the man that had hurt you both, and when another man brought him back to play puppets he asks you to put an end to it as well. Akechi’s justice was never about him doing the final strike, his was allowing someone else to do it for him. His justice was having someone who cared enough to listen to him, and to do as he wished.
But for Joker, his justice was taking down the man who had killed his friend and framed him with his own two hands. His justice was deciding, that no, he refused to live in an illusion and then did something about it himself. Joker’s justice was taking the injustice done to you, and those around you, and being given the chance to end it yourself.
Akechi’s justice was having someone listen, and Joker’s justice was being given the chance to enact it himself. They perfectly mirrored each other, and understood what the other needed without even saying anything about it. It’s just so intimate, how could I not lose my mind over them?

when people ship shusumi do they gravitate to the bubbly "kasumi" front during the 1st/2nd semester or do they not count that and portray sumire's character for who she is during the last few hours of the game. do they have both coexisting at the same time but then what's the middle sweet-spot for it? their entire dynamic changes fundamentally as a result of the third semester.
and wouldnt joker feel a bit lied to since the girl he met in the beginning who was so, so nice to him essentially a fake? would this girl still approach him with kindness if she was her true self? how does he want her? is it cruel to miss the "her" when she was parading as a corpse? because after the third semester nothing will ever be the same between them. we as a shusumi society should entertain the idea of their divorce more. in this essay i will

AKIRA au based on the biohazard fish jacket because the brainworms demanded it to exist.
If Grimmer is Kaneda in this AU I can only imagine that Roberto is Tetsuo...watching his old friend from the orphanage deteriorate into someone consumed by power
I guess Lunge would be Kei? Feels like the most likely candidate to have the power to channel psychic abilities as a medium.

Me trying not to ramble to everyone I know that in Japan Christmas is regarded as a holiday for lovers, and Christmas is so essential to Wataei's development. In !-Era Eichi dreamed of spending Christmas with Wataru in Jingle Bells, and in !!-Era they DO spend it together, in Hot Winter.
ITS A METAPHOR! (getting dragged off the stage kicking and screaming) ITS A METAPH-

like, technically ryo does take an antagonistic role. but. akira at the end of devilman wasn't Good either. like, it wasn't just ryo. that was very much an important part of the manga. that akira's desire for revenge and anger warped his views (along with literal demon possession) and drove him to extremes. like, we can't pretend that ryo is the only one responsible for what happened at the end... "akira is a hero and ryo is a villain" is such a common misconception that it is honestly exhausting

I was giving it some thought while I was getting ready this morning for work. So, I honestly don't think someone's gender actually matters that much to Koga, still. He is just demisexual in my mind, where he has no interest in sexual relations without that deep bond. Koga doesn't know how to readily handle girls, as he's said in the past, but he's gotten better at handling fans & Anzu is a girl, who he has gotten better being around. He just has to get used to it.
They are idols, so relationships are something kept more private if anything arises. Idols are there for their fans. In general, he's not going to be out there looking for one. But, this is role-play, so if a relationship is desired, it can happen. Though some realistic elements can be kept in.
But, I was considering in the sense of Koga's character, if there's no interest in a potential romantic ship that wants to come out of the roleplaying, I will properly revert Koga to how he is in game. Such as with single ship characters or characters who're too old for him, Koga will have his love for Rei in place. After all, he uses "aishiteru" at the one point which is an extremely strong emotional love that's romantic seen in dramas & manga (more than used in real life ofc).
