sometimes i think about how there has to be other members of the robotnik family out there that we dont see on screen because they arent really anybody special or important. somewhere out there theres some guy who has to live with the knowledge that dr eggman and shadow the hedgehog are his cousins

#i guess you could say this about any sonic character really #but with the robotniks its funnier to think about. because theyre the only like. idk how to word it #the only family tree we know of? i guess is what youd call it? #like for example we know vanilla is cream's mom but we dont know any of their other relatives #but with eggman we know that maria is his cousin and gerald is his grandfather #and also that shadow is marias brother and geralds son and he has a secret second dad whos an evil alien guy #and some of eggmans creations view eachother as siblings and eggman as their dad #so the mental image of there being some random guy whos related to all that is just funny to me
