Sé del abandono en el que se encuentran, históricamente los gobiernos los han desdeñado, y se han dedicado a la corrupción cerrando accesos a playa, negándoles servicios y otorgando licencias en construcciones que ante la ausencia de plantas tratadoras, afectan severamente la Laguna de Tres Palos y nuestro mar en toda esa zona. Los últimos años han sido mucho más difíciles para ustedes por el pésimo gobierno de Abelina López, quien solamente se dedicó a viajar a Orlando, Florida, hasta en tres ocasiones, y que nunca tuvo ningún proyecto de desarrollo, de rescate o de generación de empleos para ustedes. Les escribo estas líneas con el corazón en la mano, a todos mis amigos ejidatarios, prestadores de servicios, viveristas y pescadores, así como a todos los cientos de personas que ayer se manifestaron al rayo del sol, exigiendo la creación de un nuevo municipio, ustedes me conocen, paisanos de de Cayaco, Puerto Marqués, La Poza, La Charrita, Los Amates, La Bonfil, Barra Vieja y Lomas de Chapultepec. Ustedes saben que siempre he luchado a su lado, tumbando bardas para abrir accesos a playas, o manifestándonos, como lo hicimos hace 18 años, junto con mis amigos viveristas encabezados por mi brother Enrique Arciga, exigiendo la inclusión de todos ellos en la conservación de los camellones. Hoy les escribo a todos ustedes, con mucho cariño y respeto, saben que siempre he estado con ustedes, y lo único que les pido es que podamos dialogar y permitirnos la posibilidad de recuperar la grandeza de Acapulco, a través de la inclusión, del respeto y del amor por nuestra tierra. La Dona Diamante ha crecido con profundos desequilibrios derivados del mal gobierno, la corrupción y el desorden administrativo, han generado un caos en muchas zonas habitacionales, la ausencia de servicios públicos es la señal más elocuente del abandono. La mayoría de viviendas no tienen drenaje. Generalmente la fragmentación de un municpio no es la salida para buscar desarrollo y atención a nuestras comunidades, en Oaxaca existen 570 municipios y eso no significa que tengan más desarrollo. Comprendo el coraje de todos ustedes por el abandono, y me sumo a ese coraje, pero ojalá nos demos la oportunidad de rescatar juntos a nuestro querido Acapulco y que tengan ustedes un trato justo, el trato, el apoyo y el respeto que se merecen. Yo me voy a registrar el 20 de marzo para contender por tercera ocasión por la presidencia municipal, espero que ahora sí mis paisanos me den la oportunidad, y tengan la seguridad, que podremos luchar juntos para salir adelante. Yo sí he estado siempre con ustedes, yo sí los comprendo, yo sí siento el coraje que también ustedes sienten, yo sí soy acapulqueño que ama esta tierra bendita y al igual que ustedes, me duele todo esto que está sucediendo. Notes:

Wine and snacks will follow inside the Barn. Don't be shy about contributing. Bringing food and drink is not required, but if you attend for 6 months empty-handed, someone might notice.

I counted 8 bottles of red wine. Most were well above Costco level. A single bottle of quality white wine was concealed in a remote cooler in anticipation of Timmy asking for it (Tim often-times goes overtime with strength and stretching after-which his favorite white wine is gone). Timmy took the dirty glasses home on our last wine tasting 2 weeks ago and hand washed them, hence he got special treatment tonight. I understand that our more constant glass washers will feel under appreciated, but the management doesn't take anyone's contributions without feeling a debt of thankfulness.

Snacks were in abundance, while meal substitutes were in short supply. We had lots of chips, veggies, and dips, nuts and cheeses. Even rare chocolates. But alas, no hamburger soup, no lasagna, or even those white pasta slimy packages with meat inside that Kayla brings. Miss Linda bought Costco frozen pigs in a blanket today which I thought certainly would arrive all warmed up with mustard to dip them in, but no glory. Cherrita was going out for a massive burger. I'm going to bed hungry after this.

Since the disparate parties cannot get together, our tiny gym never could agree on a single hour in place of the two hour workout times on weekends. So your old coach remains committed to trying to keep everyone happy (except him) and have one weekend class with 4 people, and a later class with 18 people. I wish you guys didn't act like Democrats and Republicans.

Notes:

Jessica returned after such a long time that I didn't remember the young girls' name, which is the best geologic time reference I can think of. She brought her Aunt (I Think) Judy. Aunt Judy didn't spontaneously reveal her age, but I'm guessing she is Jessica's Mothers' Sister, which dates her in a somewhat respectful manner. Aunt Judy is a member at CrossFit Naples (Florida), and it was quickly obvious by her movements. Aunt Judy is apparently Jessica's RICH Aunt Judy since she Winters in Naples and Summers in Idaho. Aunt Judy claims their homes are only smallish homes. I gave her a nice BSN-LHCF T-shirt, even though I'm sure she coulda bought it.

Well, the girls of LHCF have decided to have a Wednesday 0800 workout starting tomorrow. Coach Charrita is eager to lead you and I'm certain you all will have a great/fun workout. Please call your friends and bring them. You can even bring your boy friend.

Wednesday at 0800. The temp is supposed to be 58 degrees which is not particularly cold, but I plan to have the Patio Heaters ready.
