With Taylor having her debut as Parr Friday evening in Cincinnati (a thousand bravos to her, she looks great, I bet she sounded great, and I envy anyone who got to see her!), we have a slight insight into what appears to be the second alternate put-in rehearsal that happened 26 April:

Based on this photo, it seems earlier the same day (Friday, 26 April) the alternates had their second put-in with the following performers:

Kristina: Aragon

Taylor: Boleyn

Amaya: Seymour

Danielle: Cleves

Aryn: Howard

Carlina: Parr

This indicates that Taylor's first put-in was for Parr, and Amaya and Carlina were either on for Aragon or Cleves (smart that production had Amaya and Carlina start with either of these as it's the two roles Wesley doesn't cover and can't entirely help with). This leaves the outstanding put-ins to be Taylor for Howard, and Carlina and Amaya for either Aragon or Cleves (which ever one they haven't done yet).

I'll be seeing this tour tomorrow evening, so I'm incredibly jealous to be one-night off from seeing a debut performance (I got to see Jimmie "J.J" Jeter's debut as Hamilton in Chicago and it was SUCH a special treat!)! But regardless, I'm so incredibly excited to see this production and all these new perspectives on the queens (and to see Cassie as Boleyn for the first time in a well-deserved principal status after seeing her twice as alternate Boleyn)! They're just going to SMASH it!

Sofia you’re wrong🤓☝🏼 Armando was the one who aspired to be president, Daniel saw that so he wanted to become one too to one-up him. That’s what Marcela is trying to say! Daniel don’t care about Ecomoda at all he only wants to screw with Armando. (Ik I’m going in circles I’m sorry but I’m heated)

I don’t even know why Don Roberto even made that stupid contest of who makes a better business proposal (or whatever they had to do). He should’ve thought about who keeps the presidency years ago. And it should’ve involved both Armando and Daniel working as vice-presidents and see who does a better job for Ecomoda. That’s a better way for them to prove themselves plus it would’ve prevented them to be shoved in a high position of power without any knowledge of how the company works. That is what would’ve happened if Daniel had taken over the presidency. I don’t understand how Don Roberto would’ve been comfortable with Daniel being president while he knows nothing about the company. He only knows how to receive a check. At least Armando knew what he was getting himself. If anything Don Roberto would’ve had to stay and teach Daniel everything!

Now that I think about it how did Don Roberto have no faith in Armando? Armando was vice president, knew what it takes to be a president, knows how the company works, is an industrial engineer, knows about the machines, knows how clothes are made, gets along with the employees, considers the work conditions of the employees (reason why he wanted to upgrade the machines), he even wants to take risks to improve Ecomoda, etc. his only weakness is that he’s not that knowledge about economics/finance (which he can obviously hire someone to help him) and he’s immature IN HIS PERSONAL LIFE! His immaturity does not involve his work life so why is that even taken into account?! or am I missing something? Like bro have more faith is your son! He’s proven himself more so than Daniel! What does Daniel have under his sleeve? Yea he’s good with economy and finance but that’s about it. If anything Armando is well rounded and shouldn’t even had to compete with Daniel.

I have a feeling Don Roberto actually wanted to give Daniel Ecomoda but tried to not hurt Armando’s feelings, it’s just that he didn’t expect Marcela to go against her brother. So to that I have to applaud Marcela. Also I feel like in this scene Marcela is not only calling out Daniel but Don Roberto as well.🙌🏼

Just a friendly reminder that Daniel is a lying sneaky bitch.

During the attempted sabotage of Betty's computer, he explicitly says he gives his word to Olarte about giving him a better position if he doesn't mention him or Patricia to Armando once Armando finds out about th sabotage. Immediately after, when Armando tells to the whole board what happened, he says that he fired Olarte, and Daniel says "that's good, but there's still a chance for suing him."

Not only that, but this man saved Patricia's ass from being also fired exactly to use this later on himself to manipulate and coerce her into sex...

bien, todos sabemos la rivalidad de daniel con armando y también podemos suponer que una de las razones es por la competencia que tienen por la atención de roberto mendoza

pero y si también fuera por una razón un poco más oscura?

daniel respeta sólo a dos mujeres en su vida: margarita (por su edad y porque lo crió en parte) y marcela. son las únicas que se salvan de la humillación de este personaje

él le lleva dulces a marcela, le dice que está hermosa, la visita y le cuenta alguna que otra cosa personal, la defiende de armando y la respeta. le dijo a armando que no merecía a su hermana y que si dudaba, no iba a permitir que él se casara con ella. es de la única que supone que tiene inteligencia a pesar de ser mujer, marcela se salva bastante de su misoginia.

qué pasa si toda su vida, daniel estuvo secretamente enamorado de (o simplemente deseó a) su propia hermana? qué pasa si buena parte de su rivalidad con armando está basado en esto? peor: qué pasa si armando en algún momento se dio cuenta o sospechó sobre esto?

So I got to see Six this past weekend on tour in the US (third time seeing it, first time with an all principal cast, my last two were with the Aragon tour with, ironically, Cassie Silva as Boleyn) and holy crap it was amazing! Literally all 6 of them killed it, and it was so exciting to see so many performers either promoted from alt/rehearsal swing to principal or from cruise to dry land! Kristina, Cassie, Kelly, Danielle, and Adriana ALL ABSOLUTELY killed it! Get your tickets if it’s near you while you can before they go (I know the largely predicted end date is during the gap that begins in July, but I absolutely wouldn’t mind if any of them stayed!!)

Also it was BCEFA donation season, so as I was exiting the theatre I saw Taylor Sage Evans holding one of the red buckets, and as I dropped in a $20 bill I made sure to congratulate her on her Parr debut the evening prior, and I think she was kinda surprised I recognized her and the fact she debuted lol

Also, embarrassingly, I’m a bad downtown driver, and I didn’t realize the road next to the theatre had a stop light between the two roads perpendicular to the theatre, and almost ran it. As I started pulling forward I realized there was someone crossing the street, looked up, stare the stoplight, and hit my brakes. I looked again at the person and saw a Six beanie and green eyeshadow. I almost hit Cassie Silva with my car (going like 10mph but also the day after she had her mic injury… I shouldn’t be allowed to operate a vehicle, clearly)

Finished reading “Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World” last night.

I really really liked it! I actually think that I liked it better than the first one (I don't know yet, I have to think more about it).

I loved to see more of their relationship! I was dreading the ending because of how I thought it was going to end, but I ended up loving it, and I liked what happened a lot!

Ari's relationship with his parents was also amazing (and heartbreaking), and it has made me question a lot of things about my own family!

Loved the friendships in the book as well!

In general, I just loved Ari's growth! The difference between Ari from book one to book two is insane!

I liked how the topic of AIDS was presented and dealt with during the entire book. It was interesting and necessary.

I was really afraid about Legs… I'm glad she's ok!

I guess if I have to point out one 'negative' thing, it will be that I felt as if we didn't get enough of Dante's own thoughts and opinions… There were hints throughout the book of things that were bothering him or worrying him, but we never got to see him completely telling them or discussing them fully with Ari. Maybe I feel this way because in the first book we had that part where Dante wrote letters to Ari, so even though the book was told from Ari's POV, we got to read Dante's own thoughts, and that didn't happen here (except for the last part and letter). It makes perfect sense that we didn't get it, and it doesn't take away from the book at all! I still enjoyed it deeply, and it's not something that really bothered me!

So, yes, I will definitely read again!!! 10/10 would recommend!
