Every Canadian actor is required to have a role on Degrassi, it's the law. Noah plays Chris, a kid who holds up a couple of the regulars at the local hangout. That this babyfaced child got a role as a gunman is, in a weird way, a credit to Noah's acting skills. Watch the episode here.
Also facing weapons charges is Wyatt, Noah's character on Rookie Blue. This role is most notable for being the place where Noah and Clare met (if you can't tell from the terrible screenshot, that's her in the upper right). I couldn't find the full episode for free online, but you can watch the drama-filled showdown here.
In yesterday's vote, The Plateaus beat the moustache with 68% of the vote.
Which one will win today? The Canadian classic or Wyatt and Stella forever?
whenever i post like, relationship prompts and stuff, i typically don't get any asks. which is fine, i usually save them for character building and prompts anyway. but it's occurred to me that i don't actually talk about ships that much? other than like, tagging random posts as megparker. and the early stages of The Ship Bracket. so you guys just may not know?? lmao??? so here's a collection of blb ships i like ig
i don't actually dislike any blb ships, but these are the ones i do like and actively think about
romantic:
megan ito/parker macmillan (in the most dysfunctional way possible)
megan ito/clare ballard (also in the most dysfunctional way possible)
Clarence is a lad from my childhood fantasy epic (Tales of Veoniya) I would plan out in my brain that's. mostly unworkable. but I have been slow-cooking ways to rewrite it in the back of my head for the last few years. He's genderfluid and switches gender presentations day to day! Uses Clarence he/him or Clare she/her depending on the day. Long hair is considered more masculine/tough in his fantasy society, so the combination of shorter hair (...this is shorter hair for Veoniyan men) and the stubble gives him a pretty androgynous look.
Here's some things about Clare that have been true at various points in her existence as a character but may or may not end up making it into the final cut! She's a sailor, and she quickly falls into cahoots with the other two main characters of the story, Rose and Selene. She is Plagued With Visions (functionally one of the world's... organs? essential to the functioning of the world as a living creature, at the very least). This means she Knows Things. Which she doesn't like to tell people about, due to the Trauma.
He's been all around the three continents of the world -- he's worked as a sailor for a long time and doesn't really return to his childhood home often. Due to the Trauma. He was born in the least magical continent in Veoniya to a noble family and is the only main character in the story who has a familial name! They're not super common in the world and are really only used by Ternil noble families (which are. kinda continued by bloodline and kinda continued by a kind of adoption by merit).
She's Guy In A Polycule Who's Just There (Selene and Rose are dating and Clare is Also There). Maybe kinda queerplatonic, maybe kinda not, I'm unsure. She knows Death (like. the Guy. His name is Henry). Most of his other lore is very much up in the air because its Bad (I made it up in middle school) but I'm love him very much :)
hello! we have one assignment that needs a pinch hitter, can anyone volunteer? it's for daekie, and the request details are under the cut!
(you don't need to have signed up for the exchange to pinch hit, btw- you just need to have an ao3 account and be able to get something done by the 18th!)
daekie's request:

other suggestions: ninesverse (wyatt mason ix's original universe) is fine if you want to write about that! in a much different tonal direction, mirrorverse is also fine.
this is Not only about mills, sorry but i would love to see some Beck Whitney & a/some Coronation Georgia(s). other option for non-mills: Chorby Soul IV & Chorby Soul V. also i read that one fic about bendie and the blood cap and its haunted me (in a good way) since. maybe something with static and short circuits?? world's your oyster. go weird and experimental with it if you'd like!
DO NOT WANT: fluff ("i like my blorbos weird and vaguely unpleasant"), lil pitchy ("i do not care about lil pitchy at all. don't let that beast in here")
Lauren Lyle (Outlander) will take the lead role of Karen Pirie in a new ITV drama series from World Productions, the production company behind Line of Duty and Bodyguard.
True to Val McDermid’s iconic character, DS Karen Pirie is a young and fearless Scottish investigator with a quick wit and tenacious desire for the truth. Adapted by Emer Kenny (Harlots, Save Me Too), who also will play Karen’s friend, River Wilde, Karen Pirie costars Chris Jenks (Sex Education) as Jason “Mint” Murray and Zach Wyatt (Blithe Spirit) as DS Phil Parhatka. The series is based on celebrated crime author Val McDermid’s first “Karen Pirie” novel, The Distant Echo.
The first episode sees Karen tasked with reopening an unsolved murder case that has been the subject of a provocative true-crime podcast. When teenager Rosie Duff (Anna Russell-Martin, Casualty) was found brutally murdered in the Scottish university town of St Andrews in 1996, suspicion fell on the three drunken students who were discovered at the scene of the crime, claiming to have found her body: Sigmund “Ziggy” Malkiewicz (Jhon Lumsden, Pancake), Tom “Weird” Mackie (Jack Hesketh, Besa), and Alex Gilbey (Buom Tihngang, Death In Paradise). But with a lack of forensic evidence, no charges were brought and the investigation floundered. Twenty-five years on, someone appears to be willing to risk everything to keep the secrets surrounding the case hidden. Do the three men know more than they previously revealed? How flawed was the original investigation? And can Karen uncover the truth of what happened to Rosie that fateful night?
Additional cast members include Michael Schaeffer (The Salisbury Poisonings) as Tom “Weird” Mackie senior, Ariyon Bakare (His Dark Materials) as Alex Gilbey senior, and Alec Newman (Unforgotten) as Sigmund “Ziggy” Malkiewicz senior. The series is filmed across Scotland.
Karen Pirie has been commissioned for ITV by Head of Drama Polly Hill. Drama Commissioner Huw Kennair-Jones oversaw production from the channel’s perspective. The program is executive produced by Simon Heath, World Production’s CEO, Emer Kenny, and Val McDermid; directed by Gareth Bryn (Line of Duty, Hidden); and produced by Clare Kerr (The Nest). Karen Pirie is produced in association with, and distributed by, ITV Studios. BritBox International will be the exclusive home to the series in North America.
