Uuuuh I finished writing episode 1 of my AU, TW for G0r3(?) and bl00d

SU: Growing Thorns AU

EP. 1, CH. 1: PROBLEMS.

STEVEN NARRATES:

I found myself in a deep trouble, a new Gem just came out of nowhere and attacked me, my friends and planet, why would she do that? I asked myself but found no response, the ambient was dark, only us could save the planet, or that’s what I thought.

I stepped in front of the Gems just before the stranger attacked them, the last thing I heard was them screaming my name, and I also heard Connie. Before I blacked out, I felt a burning pain on my shoulder as I also felt someone’s arms wrap around me, and tears falling down on my face.

CONNIE NARRATES:

I was fighting alongside Steven and the Gems, my heart was racing and I was nervous, any hit of the strange weapon the Gem had and it was over for me, as I’m only a human. That Gem was strong, I contemplated that as she easily threw Garnet to the floor, evading her future vision. I was covering and defending myself with my sword as the Gem tried to punch me sometimes, I was distracted but as soon as I heard the 3 Gems screaming Steven’s name, I turned to see what was going on and I found Steven approaching the Gem and getting his left arm cut off, my eyes widened and I yelled his name with desperation and fear.

I grabbed my sword with a tight grip and threw myself towards the Gem, I let out a yell and like it was no big deal, stabbed the pinkish Gem, poofing her in the act, when her gem dropped to the ground, I stared at it with hatred and grabbed it. I approached the Gems and handed them her Gem.

— “Bubble her before I shatter her.” I said with pure hate in my voice, the Gems just nodded silently.

I ran towards Steven’s unconscious body, I held him in my arms as I sobbed, his blood staining my hands and part of my arms and body, I begged in cries for him to be okay.

— “STEVEN!! STAY AWAKE! PLEASE!” I begged in cries.

— “PLEASE! CALL SOMEONE, A DOCTOR, O-OR I-I DONT KNOW. ANYONE THAT CAN HELP HIM!!” I pleaded as I held onto Steven, my tears falling to his face.

After a few minutes, I heard a familiar voice, it was my mom’s voice, I think, someone told me to stand back, so I did, I saw a pot filled of Rose’s Water and they tried putting his arm on his body again with it, no luck.

A few hours passed and I didn’t go to the Space Camp, I just went out of the shower since I was stained with Steven’s blood, I looked at my reflection on the mirror, I was covering half of my body with a towel. After I dressed up and brushed my hair, I sat next to Steven’s bed, since he was laying in there, I held his right hand while looking at him with a tired and sad expression, my eyes started filling with tears.

— “Steven.. I need you.. why won’t you wake up? Why did you.. protect them like that? You’re worrying me..” I said before kissing him in the forehead and standing up, I looked at him one last time and went downstairs, I saw how the Gems had made the couch a bed for me to stay for the nights, I smiled before thanking them. And so I stayed in the Temple for almost a month..
