Letting babies cry it out causes complex ptsd. It is a form of needs neglect which causes dysreulation and a sense of mistrust with people, or a sense that the world is an unsafe place. Before I began my healing journey, this was very true for me. Looking back at my relationships, and many of my friendships, especially my best friend of 30 years, super manipulative, toxic, and downright narcissistic.
