A possible discussion point for the pod: how do you feel about the parallels between Shadis and Magath? Shadis did get a lot of people killed through hubris and unwillingness to resign as SC Commander, but Magath has probably sent tens of thousands of Eldians to their deaths, and got all of his higher-ups killed. Can he really be called a hero the same way Shadis is, simply because he helped Paradis in the end and wanted the warriors to have a good life? Love the cast btw, big fan.

Finally got to #that episode and that was a horror movie. Natalia was literally framed as the final girl and that kid trapped inside the school theatre dying? Stuff of nightmares.

On a more jarring note, where are a pair of suburban lads getting shotguns from in the uk, is Rob’s dad a farmer or something?

I understand what the writers were trying to do here but it feels a bit cliche, which is really really unfortunate for such horrifying subject matter.

Ollie could’ve had a way more interesting storyline about teenage isolation WHILE ALIVE if the writers spent more time on it.

(Is this really the way Ollie had to go? Couldn’t they send him away somewhere if the actor wanted to leave?)

Overall a really good episode but the shooting felt gratuitous. Casualty never really gets a look in when it comes to the soap awards but Jason Durr deserves every award he can get
