Below is our email interview with her : . . What is your responsibilities as the Flight Dispatcher? As a flight dispatcher, I am responsible for preparing operational flight plan (OFP) and dispatching the aircraft from one destination to another. It is our responsibility to ensure the aircraft is safe, taking into consideration of aircraft performance and load planning, fuel planning, weather forecast, airspace restrictions, and airport condition. Flight dispatcher evaluated Notice-To-Airmen (NOTAM) concerning the establishment, condition or change in any aeronautical / airport facility, services, procedure or hazard during the flight release. Our role is also to monitor typhoon warning, volcanic activity and ensure dispatch is well-planned to minimize operational disruptions. .
