i feel like people are willfully ignorant when it comes to the library scene because the sheer amount of people who think nancy straight up hated robin in that scene and then randomly stopped is actually insane

i think its obvious to literally anyone that nancy was only annoyed, she didn’t say anything mean she just had 0 tolerance for robin throwing her off track.

and the people that take what the characters say as verbatim truth are really strange, the only person that brought up steve was robin and that very clearly was not why nancy was annoyed? robin jumped to that conclusion?

idk if my (possibly) best friend just died in a horrific way and i had a clue as to who was responsible and clearly stated that it was a shot and the dark and insisted on going alone to dig deeper, but then i was not only forced to have a chaperone that i didn’t know but that chaperone is someone who also constantly doubted what i had to say and made a ton of assumptions about me, i’d be pretty annoyed!

(btw this is not robin slander, it’s obvious she doesn’t understand why nancy is upset and is just trying to compensate for that and they’re both very different people who do eventually meet in the middle and understand each other)
