She couldn't help but break down laughing at that point- Something about the awkwardness of the situation and just the absurdity of the statement had her sides in stitches. "I-I guess so?! The first thing you do is wake up, your small body lurching forward only to stop short by the shoulders as the unrecognizable images of a bad dream fade away from the backs of your eyelids.

You're here again--in That Room--and you are trapped.

The belts around your shoulders are tight enough to hold you and they continue on your wrists and even your ankles.

You can squirm, but you cannot escape.

You know how you ended up this way.

You took the sweet candy from "Mother" again. You have been eating just enough food not to be too tired. You've learned not to refuse, but the sweet candy... is both a treat and a trick.

It makes you sleepy, oh so sleepy, but it's so nice... and when you fall asleep, you wake up in this room where It Will Hurt.

The machine is beeping in the background, but you don't remember what it's called--you don't remember what these things are in the room because there are too many names--long names, weird names, funny names--and it all makes your head hurt!

Your eyes dart to the door when there are two knocks, heart leaping into your throat and the machine shrills briefly in response. You inhale sharply, trying to swallow because your throat hurts.

Sweat beads upon your brow, eyes widening, rounding as your teeth come together and grit even though they've said before that that's bad for you which doesn't matter. Hurting is bad for you, but they still do it! They still--they still do it!!

Screaming and shouting only makes things worse, so you've learned how to control that, but you can't stop the welling tears that are prinking your eyes as the door opens slowly with the loudest squeak you have ever heard... and you only know it "squeaks" because they commented on it before.

He's not amused, but he's not literally stupid, either. Arven's general reaction is about the same as half of any situation- WhatEVER. Especially postgame, he's definitely matured to the point of at least trying to sympathize with them. He might be super annoyed in the early-game, especially since his reputation is literally just being his parents' son- hurts when they're not around and not relevant.

...and he's a little vain himself and would comment or agree lightly that he definitely got his looks from Somewhere. That's probably more in the context of patting himself on the back tho- not them so much.

of course, anything further than looks and it's like, Good Fucking Luck. His parents will probably ruin your life like they did his! and if they don't, congratulations, guess you got lucky, it's weirdchamp.

So Iron Bundle was cheeky, placing all of Rika's presents on her trusty Clodsire's back before flying off for their next delivery! Inside the present bag were the following:

Snacks and treats made with ground-type pokemon nutritional needs in mind.

A family sized electric blanket for snuggling under.

A basket full of winter themed drinks and treats.

A card with one more thing-

The card would read:

Rika received a Larvitar!

Clodsire had a new hat! He loved his hat and the funny little delibird that brought it. He scoots toward where Rika was, only for her to reach down and take it from him, sifting through the contents, only to jump in surprise when the pokeball tumbled from the package. Picking it up gently, she hastily set the bags down, throwing Clodsire a few of the treats before reading the card.

"Turo... You spoil me... Thank you." She hums, tossing the ball properly now as the little Larvitar appeared, looking around slowly, but happy to receive headpats from its new trainer.

"Well, the least I can do is do right by you, little guy. You'll get plenty of training with us.... Hm... What to call you... What about Fafnir? You like that?"

The Larvitar cheers, and Rika smiles and stands, going back to what she was doing before the gifts were delivered- Albeit now with more snacks, and Clodsire quietly adopting the new baby.

Turo's Gholdengo took his advice and stripped off his choice scarf and waved it around in their hands while running. Not exactly the same energy as Turo doing that but the SPIRIT was there! Speaking of Turo, he'd be seen chasing after his ghost pal, sweat glistening over his shirtless torso!

Oh--good on that golden--what, really??--Pokémon, for doing exactly what it wanted and deciding to free itself to some degree. There some amusement in seeing that to be sure, but the other guy--the one chasing after it--was likely its trainer and seemed concerned enough to be actively trying to apprehend it to the best of his ability if the copious amount of sweat leaking out of him was anything to go by.

Well now, you don't really see that everyday in the midst of a forest--not that Zoro was going to help, he was relaxing on the outside platform infront of the teahouse.

Should they come closer to the teahouse, however, who's to say what would happen?
