many thanks to @hydn-jpg for this commission of gabriela and adrian, they did such a wonderful job on this and i adore it sm!! i love the idea of them interacting with each other like a father-daughter duo of sorts. gabe canonically watches blades and i think her favorite character would be nia (and will be adrian's too once she and lily make him sit down and watch it). adrian's credit card is a free-for-all for gabe, who has now become the world's richest vampire nepo baby in the funniest way possible (i.e. falling into a portal lmao). you bet your ass cas is looking for a way to open that portal again.

Thinking about the scene in ID where MCs asks Cas and Gabe which one bit the other, and they become strangely tense and refuse to talk about it.

We don’t know which bit the other but I think it’s most probable for Gabe to have been the vampire already. If Cas turned Gabe, I feel there’d be no reason for it to be a sore topic. Cas loves being a vampire and the rituals while Gabe hates what being a vampire entails. Cas biting Gabe would be pretty simple

But if Gabe bit Cas…. That’s much more interesting. Cas seeing their first interaction with Gabe as Gabe seeing them at their weakest and most fragile, something Cas hates to seem like… Gabe interpreting it as Cas seeing Gabe as the monster were turned into, that they are….. them seeing each other at their lowest, at the moment they are the version of themselves they despise the most….much to think about….

Is anyone getting this?! There’s angst in drama in one turned the other of course, BUT THEY ALSO MAY HAVE MET AT A ICE CREAM PARLOR

They may have met back when they were human. Maybe one of them took the first step to reach out. Maybe it went ignored and they never found one another again until the turning

Maybe Gabe noticed this server by their lonesome, and reached out. Made small conversation, and waved every time they came in

Maybe Cas noticed this new patron who kept staying long past closing, and left it open just for a little longer

Maybe Gabe tried looping them into their convo and maybe Cas teased them about their order, maybe for a little, things were good

They were human, and things were good for a little

And now even though they’ve lived lives so separate from one another, and their paths have strayed and come together so often, though their perceptions of one another have strayed so drastically, they still keep in mind the memories of days spent in the ice cream parlor
